The Ba'ath Party Program to End the Iraq War Through Negotiations With the United States By Carsten Kofoed fritirak, October 27, 2006 The Program in English: http://www.albasrah.net/pages/mod.php?mod=art&lapage=../ en_articles_2006/1006/Baath_221006.htm
The Programme of Liberation and Independence of Iraq now in Danish The Iraqi Resistance, led by the biggest political party in Iraq, the Iraqi Baath Party, which has been outlawed by the occupying power, has presented “The Programme of Liberation and Independence of Iraq” in October. This has now been translated into Danish by the Free Iraq Blog of Denmark – the Danish voice of the Iraqi Resistance. It is a comprehensive programme setting the conditions of the Iraqi Resistance for a peaceful end to the bloody occupation and plotting a course for the formation and development of the new liberated Iraq following the end of the occupation. Just recently and because of its real importance to the developments in Iraq, “The Programme of Liberation and Independence of Iraq” has been made public on the Arabic TV station Al-Jazeera, reaching hundreds of millions of Arabic-speaking people all over the world. Without any doubt, it would be beneficial to the understanding of the Danish people of the situation in Iraq if the Danish media did something like Al-Jazeera, and they should be encouraged to do so, while reminding them that they never miss an opportunity to report on the analyses, plans, conferences, etc. of the occupying power. In any free, independent and serious journalism, both parties are heard and not just one of them. Unfortunately, the facts are that the Danish people for almost four years by and large have been listening to the Danish government and so-called Iraq experts, who have just, by their “intellectual” empty phrases, been supporting the lies of the government that sent Denmark into the illegal war and since then has been lying and misinforming on the developments in Iraq. Now, the Fogh Rasmussen government, after having received the green light from its master in The White House is admitting that “the coalition” was also wrong on the resistance of the Iraqi people, and that the majority of the Iraqis has not bought their lies saying that the brutal, plundering oil occupation is “freedom, democracy and reconstruction”, but now – as even the so-called opinion polls of the occupying power show – are massively supporting the armed resistance struggle, which in Denmark, yes, in our country that has itself been occupied and waging resistance struggle, is called “terrorism” by many political parties and media that have become both blind and deaf because of their uncontrollable hatred of Arabs and Muslims. To everybody, who sincerely wants to understand the Iraqi Resistance, the Iraqi people, who is represented by no one but the Resistance, the situation in Iraq and the future that awaits the deeply tortured Iraqi people, “The Programme of Liberation and Independence of Iraq” is a document that should be studied carefully. To all opponents of the occupation of Iraq, the task besides getting to know the programme is to support and spread it among the Danish people because it is in this programme that you will find “the birth of a pluralistic, democratic, national system” in Iraq, as it is said in the programme. Stop the occupation of Iraq immediately and unconditionally! Get the Danish troops home now! Freedom and justice for Iraq and the Iraqi people!
