Israelis the Only People in the World in Favor of Torture

ISRAELIS ACQUIRE TASTE FOR TORTURE

If there is any doubt that Israelis are a people apart, when it comes to sheer human brutality and cruelty, a BBC poll on torture to extract information to save human lives, has clearly proved that Israel is the only country where its people are in favour of torture while the rest of the world, either the West, East or Muslim world, are universally opposed to inhuman torture, whatever be the pretext.

The BBC poll of 25000 people from around the world shows that the majority in all countries polled, except ISRAEL, have voted against torture. Even India, where the state in its communalized avatar, passed draconian laws like TADA, POTA and MCOCA, where courts are obliged by law to accept confessions from accused, even obtained through police torture, the majority of people were against police torture.

Israelis are by far the only people world, who have been tortured in the past and now feel no qualms in torturing and imprisoning Palestinian citizens, for their only crime of belong to the occupied territories. Thousands and thousands are routinely picked up from homes and villages and are tortured in jails, without any hope for any respite. This is to break their spirit, holding out for freedom from Israeli occupation. If the legitimate resistance hauls up any of their people, to exchange for thousands of innocents in Israeli prisons, the ruthless Israelis use heavy and disproportionate force using fighter aircrafts, helicopters, to bomb Palestinian civilians as a golden opportunity to satiate their taste for blood. Their incursion into Lebanon, from where they have been beaten out, though leaving thousands of bomblets like the land-mines, that is killing Lebanese civilians who are back into their villages after the Israelis have left. The planting of these bomblets are the further proof of sadist streak of brutality that Israelis inflict on their neighbour with whom they profess to seek peace.

Unfortunately, in India, some states have hired Israeli security experts who are following the same illegal system of torture to keep Palestinians cowering in their hideouts.

Indian government should realise the enormity of importing a foreign and distorted version of 'pacification' by imposing inhuman laws on Indian citizens. It should especially beware of Israeli aversion of Muslims, which translates into anti-Muslim prejudices being imposed on Indian Muslims. Israelis private war with Muslims should not be allowed to be imported into India and help bolster Hindutva extremists who have now taken a life of their own by resorting to terrorism, bombing and killing Muslims in towns of Maharashtra. State police is openly aiding and abeting these acts of local terrorism, supposedly under advise from Israeli experts who profess to know how to tackle Muslims. BJP's national president Rajnath Singh openly visits Israeli ambassador in New Delhi, to seek his 'blessings' for any preferred response to so-called terrorist attacks from across the borders, while the operators are being exposed as local extremists.

Human Rights organization should be extra vigilant about Israeli influences in our hired consultancy on security and law and order matters of control and punishments. Israelis are the last people on the face of this earth to be humane and respectful of democratic norms and majorities. That is factually confirmed by BBC poll.
