Why Not Fixing Pressing Crises in Non-Oil Countries? By Ali Al-Hail Al-Jazeerah, October 18, 2006 If one for once, gives, the neocons, and their allies
in the West, the benefit of the doubt that, they are really, genuine about
‘liberating’ bewildered nations, she\he will ask: Why do they only, select
to ‘liberate’ countries with oil? While are countries like Burma, Sri Lanka,
Western Sudan Darfur, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Zimbabwe, Uganda,
Rwanda, and other troubled countries right cross the globe though, in
palpable demand for neocons’ touches of Liberty, (are they NOT?), one fails
to find them there. They are in Afghanistan, because it neighbors Central Asian oil countries. They thought dislodging Taliban, and Al-Qaeda (as potential threats to their ‘oily’ vision) from governing Afghanistan, would eradicate a great obstacle off their way, to have an easy access to the central Asian oil. However, After 5 years they just cannot get anywhere. Taliban is still in charge, and determine where, and when to hit. As in Iraq, they have dramatically, failed to score a decisive victory over the resistance, despite rhetoric. Also because Iran, as a competent country to the neocons’ policing of the Arab Gulf has a long time ambition to setout a pipe line from Central Asian states across Afghanistan into Iran. The manifested aim to ‘liberate’ these countries does no longer enjoy a good customer turnout. Although discernibly, the neocons, and the West by and large, support the opposition under house arrest Burmese leader, Aung San Suu Kyi for decades they have never gone beyond empty words of backing, despite an international consensus of her just cause. The central Government of Colombo, in Sri Lanka, has been for decades, oppressing the Jefna Oasis Northern Tamil tigers, depriving them to having their own sovereign state at the North, despite decades of bloody conflict. Almost entirely, there has been no single word from the neocons, or the rest of the West on this conflict, or on other non-oil countries’ conflicts. Why to bother, since there’s no oil, for the oil addicted neocons? For centuries, has the Darfur crisis been going on? The ‘Jinjaweeds’ militia apparently, backed by the central government of Khartoum, their role in forcing the African-non-Arab Sudanese into refuge, raping, and poverty has been known for centuries. It’s a power struggle. Only, recently, when the oil was sniffed by the neocons, the desire for intervention has, strongly, been stunk. All of a sudden, the Security Council had convened to decide ‘liberating’ the Darfurians from the ‘Jinjaweeds’. Out of the blue the neocons’, and the West’s conscious has awakened on the news of Oil in Western Darfur. In Zimbabwe, meanwhile, they don’t favour Robert
Mogaby for not listening to then as regard to White Farmers, whose
settlements for centuries have been sucking Black peoples’ blood.
Nonetheless, the Democratic Movement For Change (MDC), has since its
establishment nearly, 6 years ago been living on huge sums of money from
White Framers (BBC World Service Television, Hard Talk Program, October
12th, 2006), allegedly, on an order from the Neocons, the UK, and other EU
states with varying degrees. Despite outcries from WHO, UN human right organizations, Doctors San Frontiers (without borders), and domestic sources, in Africa, and the rest of the World about the increasing HIV in Africa, TB, along with other infectious diseases, civil wars, children slavery, refugees, political corruption, money laundering, drug, women, and children trafficking, appalling human rights record, and many more, the neocons’ and the EU’s Trillions of Dollars only, go into solely, to fix oil-rich countries’ conflicts. Doesn’t matter, whether is for good reasons or, bad reasons. Countries of the World that, suffer from all of the former, have no oil. Why should the neocons, and their allies in the West waste their human, and financial resources on removing Mogabi for instance, (albeit, he’s a good leader to many Zimbabweans, to Africans, and beyond), for the MDC’s sake, or else to go into other non-oil countries to fix their health, political, economic, poverty crises, since there’s no oil, or Gas, or any resource that, generate CASH, according to the capitalist theory.
