The SEE Conundrum By Don Nash Al-Jazeerah, August 23, 2006 The SEE Conundrum is a world class stumper. A mystery,
a problem, a pox upon us all, and a vital integer in that ever important
equation known as “man’s inhumanity to fellow man.” Our world’s leaders
embrace the SEE Conundrum and dance with it. They take it to their beds like
an adulterous lover and our world’s leaders flaunt the conundrum as some
kind of end-all solution for political insanity. The SEE Conundrum is of course, the “sudden end to existence.” Besides being a conundrum, it is wildly incapacitating and shockingly terminal. There are a number of parochially vogue terms that are bantered back and forth by mainstream media and overall, their niceties are simply for effect. How about “preemptive war?” How about “incursion?” How about “war on terror?” Anyway one might care to construe current political madness and murder, it is beyond disingenuous to embrace wanton slaughter for anything other than what it is. It is a standing mystery as to why George ‘kid slaughter’ Bush lied America into a preemptive war on Iraq. Remember, no wmd’s were found in Iraq and that was Bush’s sole excuse for his “shock and awe” genocide on Iraq in the first place. 9/11/01 is not now nor was it at any time a rationale for Bush’s insane genocide. It is a given that the Bush gang of forty plus war criminals have changed their reasoning almost daily, since the beginning of the Iraq preemption. Matters not a whit. Our ‘kid slaughter’ put the murderous hand of oppression on Iraq and Iraq has suffered ever since. So, doesn’t that qualify as a “conundrum?” Doesn’t that qualify as a mystery? Shouldn’t the massive “sudden end to existence” of
probably 500,000 innocent Iraqi men, women, and children qualify as
genocide? A war crime? An outrage that humanity as a justice starved
collective, should demand an accounting for? Tony ‘lap doggy’ Blair is tied
into the “conundrum” equation as is Australia’s John Howard and ‘John Does’
one through forty eight. That’s a humorless conundrum commonly referred to
as “the coalition of the willing to slaughter.” Then we have the Israelis and their inhumane slaughter
of Palestinians and the Lebanese. Israeli rationale about Hizbullah or Hamas
or whomever being the bad guys here is comprehensive bulls*#t! Israel
slaughters Lebanese men, women, and children and because it’s Israel working
the genocide it’s perfectly “acceptable.” Well, hardly. Israeli handiwork or
murder if you will, certainly qualifies as a “conundrum” as well as “crimes
against humanity.” Not even Hud Olmert can dress that “war-pig” into
acceptability. The real and actual “conundrum” remains. Why aren’t these war
criminals sent directly to the International Criminal Court at the Hague for
some long overdue justice? Why are politician/murderers allowed to walk the
global stage with impunity? Humanity should demand a “robust” application of
global justice and all those that have had their existence suddenly ended by
political madmen, are deserving of nothing less.
