Given that, the international community’s attitude toward Israel’s genocides is incredible, one could perhaps presume, as do many the West is itself, a casualty of Israeli Lobbies’ waving with the holocaust stick. This mind-set seems unlikely, to change as long as the Israeli Lobbies remain dominant in Western politics, economics and within the corporate media. The influence of the Israeli Lobbies in the West, including the UN and security Council is so subterranean that, a lot of people began to wonder, whether Israeli Lobbies are in charge in the West.

However, the ferocious resistance by Hizbullah’s fighters and the unprecedented huge losses in both manpower and military equipments, it has inflicted upon the Israeli might, had for the first time during the conflict, changed international criteria. To Arabs UN resolution 1701, is the best worst since Israeli-Arab conflict began in 1948. Had never before the UN come this close to Arabs. All UN resolutions regarding Israeli Arab dispute over the past 6 decades, haven’t been applied in favor to Israel presumably, under an influence from the Israeli Lobbies in the West and in the UN alike.

One may possibly, assume the Arab weakness to confront Israel and the West unconditioned support to Israel through the Israeli lobbies, including the UN had been amongst the primary cause for the stalemate. Unquestionably, the fierce resistance by Hezbollah that, has defeated Israel’s myth of invincibility was observably, the main reason behind the resolution.

Many argue that, since the US, the main player in the Security Council along with Israel, were founded upon power and force, when Hezbollah’s fighters had responded to them in powerful reaction, they apparently, got the message loud an clear.

Hours after the resolution was voted, Israel had widened its ground offensive, with the intent to reach the Litani River (some 18 miles from the borders). Although Israel’s army since July 19th up to August 12th , hasn’t gone beyond a maximum of 5 miles, inside the Lebanese lands, it had desperately, strived to brush its ruined reputation by a guerilla, inland and abroad.

However, the Israeli army’s persistence to push deep into Southern Lebanon, has ended with another yet, catastrophic consequences. From the very first day on July 12th until the very last day, on August 13th and prior to the amenable ceasefire, Hezbollah’s fighters had never given in to the presumably, most powerful army in the entire Middle East. The Army that, crushed the armies of, at least 20 Arab regimes in 6 hours during 1967 war, was not even capable, despite its most 400 sophisticated strong F16 jets intensive bombing, of stopping Hezbollah’s missiles falling on Israel on a daily basis. Likewise, it was according to the grapevine, unable to target any of Hezbollah’s hideouts or weaponries. Until Sunday August 13th, and before 9 hours from the UN ceasefire the Israeli Army still seems to struggle with holding on Aitasha’b, a 1.5 mile border village and other few contiguous villages, much less approaching the Litani River. Though Israel claimed three weeks ago, its Army had controlled Aitasha’b and other nearby villages, including the strategic town of Bintjbail the furthest the Israeli Army has reached was a maximum of 5 miles. Hence, 9 hours before the UN truce, the Israeli Army until now has endured huge losses. Media reports speak about 35 killed and injured in the Israeli Army in these adjacent villages in which Hezbollah, according to BBC Radio-World Service put on fierce fighting as ever.

AP, Jane’s Defense Weekly, BBC and other media sources are reported to have said more than 150 Israeli soldiers, including 35 Golani elite troopers had been killed, most of them were targeted in their merkava tanks, by Hezbollah’s anti-tank missiles. The reports also indicates that, the injured have exceeded 400. Additionally, More than 100 Merkava tanks, 46 bulldozers and 34 armored vehicles were destroyed.

In the meantime, Israel’s air force hooligans have, as usual since July 12th been conducting more holocausts, massacres and crimes against humanity. It’s Israel’s way of absorbing its frustration with being powerless to weakening Hezbollah, let alone disarming it.

On Sunday August 13th and as the clock ticked down towards the ceasefire, Israel’s air force had murdered a mother with her three children and her Asian assistant, in Eastern Tire, according to BBC reports. The Israeli air force hooligans have similarly, butchered two families of 5 and 6 members in Ihraik Neighborhood, southern Beirut. Besides, 25 civilians, most of them children, had been murdered. Until the time of writing there are 40 other people under rubble.

Other massacres have been carried out by the Israeli air force hooligans in Brital, an Al-Begaa tiny town, resulted in massacring 25 civilians, including 12 children, 6 women, amongst them a pregnant woman. Al-Beqaaa had also, seen Israeli bombing an estimated number of 20 trucks. Yet, Al-Jamaliya, a neighborhood in Ba’labak (the only place outside Italy that, embraces Roman ancient ruins), in which 16 civilians had been killed, a quarter were children and more were injured. Other parts of Lebanon . BBC, Reuters, AP, CNN and Al-jazeera were reported to have described the places in which civilians had been murdered as residential, with no Hezbollah’s presence. Since Israel’s naval shelling and air force bombing campaign started on July 12th , nearly, 1600 Lebanese civilians had been killed, half of them are children. 29 families of 6-14 members were reported to have been murdered by Israel in cold blood. More than 6000 were injured or maimed virtually, third of this number are children as well. The Lebanese civilians who were forced to flee their homes from Southern Lebanon, Beirut-Southern district, Al-Biqaa and Ba’labak had numbered a million (1,000,000).

Al Jazeera was reported to have witnessed that, these bombings and massacres by the Israeli Air Force had aimed at revenge and on the other hand to achieve something convincing to the Israeli people. Moreover, the BBC’s John muir (BBC, Radio World Service, August 13th) has spoken of Hezbollah’s tactics and war strategies that, had completely, puzzled and taken it by surprise.

As a result, Hezbollah’s tactics in this war, have world-wide been observed by military colleges. According to media reports, for years to come what a guerrilla has done versus the most military might in the entire Middle East and one of the most powerful Army in the whole World, had captured the attentions of many military specialists in the World, including those in the US and Israel itself. In conclusion, one could say that, attempts to disarming Hezbollah would haven’t halted. Some parties in Lebanon and certain regimes in the Arab World want to see Hezbollah disarmed. Simply, because they are shortsighted. On the other hand regimes such as, those of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait and Libya explicitly, called for disarming Hezbollah despite their people and almost entirely, all Arabs. The aim is in their narrow thinking, prolonging their reigns. But they are certainly, mistaken. Because the US and Israel only, bow to the fittest. Hezbollah, over the past 32 days had proved this character in international criteria.

Disarming Hezbollah after all what he has achieved, seems unrealistic. The resistance, the confrontation, the skillful style of tactics and surprise and the colossal toll, Hezbollah’s fighters on the ground along with firing approximately, 4000 missiles on Israel has imposed upon the “undefeatable Army”, had evidently, put Arab regimes on the notice, according to the BBC (August 13th).
