Dr. Al-Arian remains in prison on bogus charges Mark Franklin Al-Jazeerah, 10/24/03
I recently read an article that briefly mentioned Dr. Al-Arian (which follows these comments). Some of you may recall the events surrounding him. I posted an article sometime back, which I found in the newspaper "The Truth at Last" (the article is online here - http://www.indymedia.org/front.php3?article_id=331470&group=webcast ). In any event, Dr. Al-Arian was being tried under the so-called "Patriot" Act of being ... I'm not sure. To be honest, I have no idea what bogus, contrived charges were alleged. I think it was something along the lines of he didn't support Israeli atrocities. Big Brother won't tell what the charges are; Big Brother doesn't have to with the so-called "Patriot" Act. In any event, I heard from Dr. Fields about Dr. Al-Arian's current ordeal: Big Brother has reportedly delayed the trial. I think it was supposed to have been in either this month or a month ago. However, citing the so-called "Patriot" Act (designed to make Americans unpatriotic through the use of totalitarian measures that suppress free speech), Big Brother has now said the trial won't be any time soon. When will the trial occur? Well, from what I heard, it's not to take place until 2005!!! (I guess the "Patriot" Act supercedes the Constitution's right to a "speedy" trial--yeah, right.) Aside from Dr. Al-Arian's daughter shown at the above web page, Dr. Fields told me that Dr. Al-Arian has--I think it is--five children! How is his wife supposed to deal with this travesty of justice? I don't know; I really don't. They'll starve; Big Brother doesn't care. So what if his children die of starvation, Big Brother tells Dr. Al-Arian's wife, just so long as they can lock up someone who was vocal in his opposition to real Israeli atrocities (which Big Brother enjoys watching). If Dr. Al-Arian was really "guilty" as alleged, do you think Big Brother would drag this trial on for years? Get real. This just demonstrates how corrupt the law enforcement has become. Big Brother is making Dr. Al-Arian suffer because he was a vocal critic of Israel's policies. And, as most Americans know, President George W. Bush and Attorney Gen. John Ashcroft and Assistant Attorney General Michael Chertoff enjoy watching little Palestinian children get bombed by American-made bombs, which are delivered with American-made jets and helicopters. It makes their day to see little Palestinian children suffer. To Bush and his Zionist hatemongers, only Israelis matter. The pro-Zionist hatemongers were worried about Dr. Al-Arian telling the truth about the Mid-East and the nefarious practices of the Zionist Terror Squad. They were worried about all the victims - 3 times as many on the Palestinians' side - being shown. Big Brother was concerned about Dr. Al-Arian making it known of the ongoing, sanctioned, paid-for-with-American-taypayers'-money Israeli terrorism. Perhaps, Dr. Al-Arian might have made some U.S. citizens cognizant of the fact that the U.S. recently gave Israel $9 billion, and Israel is using that money to build a giant WALL that surrounds the Palestinians, as if some huge CONCENTRATION CAMP. I heard Michael Chertoff is behind this mess. Again, he's the pro-Zionist assistant attorney general, whom I believe is now being considered for a position as a federal judge. I'd right to whomever you can--anyone that will listen--and complain about this outrage. Do I hear someone knocking on my door? Is that Big Brother? Who cares?
