Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s upcoming visit to the US to
meet President Barack Obama highlights that the two major American political
parties are completely under Zionist control, a former US Senate candidate
says.
“Netanyahu’s visit underscores the fact that the Republican Party and the
Democratic Party and the American news media are in the back pocket of
Israel,” said Mark Dankof, who is also a broadcaster and pastor in San
Antonio, Texas.
“The American people will continue to have monies extorted to support all
of the criminal policies of this regime and all of the things that it does
in America’s name which will cause ongoing blowback against the American
people,” Dankof told Press TV on Sunday.
Netanyahu is expected to meet Obama on Monday to seek more military aid
and mend seemingly broken ties with Obama.
The Israeli premier is looking to rebuild relations with Obama that sank
to a new low over his bitter lobbying effort against the Iran agreement.
He also plans to lay down the groundwork for more US military aid to
Israel over the next decade.
“Netanyahu is going to walk away with approximately $5 billion a year in
American military assistance to Israel,” Dankof said.
“He’s going to walk away from this situation with a renewed commitment
from the leaders of both major parties to support Israel in anything it
does, including all of its criminal activities,” he noted.
Israel is seeking a large increase in annual military assistance from the
United States and has held preliminary talks with the US government on a
10-year package - from 2018 to 2028 - that would provide up to $50 billion.
Under the current agreement that was signed in 2007 and is set to expire
in 2017, Israel receives over $3 billion a year in military aid from the
United States. That deal was negotiated during the George W. Bush
administration.
