Here are some initial (not final) statistics, which show the Israeli war crimes against humanity, during the current Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip, based on the reliable data reported by the Palestinian Health Ministry:

By October 24, 2024, the initial death toll of Palestinians who have been killed by the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip is 52,847+.   

This includes the accounted for deaths (42,847), those who are still missing under the rubble (an estimate of at least 10,000+). 

By October 24, 2024, the documented injuries exceeded 100,544.

By October 25, 2024, 761 Palestinians who were killed, 6,514 who were injured, and 11,628, who were abducted by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, since October 7, 2023, including 310 women and 640 children (Some of the detainees have been released).

By October 24, 2024, according to initial reports, 41 Lebanese civilians were killed, 139 were injured, by the Israeli genocidal raids on Lebanon, in the past 24 hours. Thus, the Lebanese death toll, since October 8, 2023, has surged to 2,634 fatalities and more than 12,252 injuries.

Since September 23, 2024, the Lebanese death toll rose to 1,741 and the injuries to 5,515.

"Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32).

"And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93).

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

 After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. The death toll from Israel's attacks on Lebanon since last October has surged to 2,634, the Lebanese Health Ministry said on Friday.

A ministry statement said 41 people were killed and 133 others injured in nationwide Israeli attacks on Thursday, raising the number of injured to 12,252.

Israeli warplanes on Thursday carried out 125 airstrikes, most of them in southern Lebanon, according to the ministry.

'Israel' attacks press in Lebanon, Al Mayadeen mourns two colleagues

The Israeli occupation's assault on the freedom of the press and freedom of speech continues unabated amid the eerie silence of the international community.

Israeli occupation forces carried out an aerial attack on the place of residence of press crews in Hasbayya, southern Lebanon, resulting in several casualties among journalists, cameramen, and technicians.

Shortly after, the Lebanese Civil Defense announced that three journalists were killed in the Israeli airstrike on the town of Hasbayya.

Following the deliberate attack on the freedom of the press, Al-Mayadeen announced the martyrdom of two of its crew members covering the Israeli war on Lebanon across the southern front: cameraman Ghassan Najjar and broadcast engineer Mohammad Reda.

On its part, Al-Manar TV mourned its cameraman Wissam Qassem who was also martyred in the Israeli aggression.

Commenting on the aggression, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Mayadeen Media Network, Ghassan Bin Jiddou, held the Israeli occupation "fully responsible for this war crime in which it targeted the journalists' crews, including Al-Mayadeen's."

"The [Israeli] occupation's targeting of the journalists' residence was deliberate, and there are others wounded from other Arab channels as well," he said.

Bin Jiddou said the occupation "finds pleasure in killing," and among those it targets are journalists "who expose its criminality."

"Al-Mayadeen will keep going and shall never retreat," vowed the chairman of the network's board of directors, asserting that the aggression did not target Al-Mayadeen exclusively "as it is an aggression against all press crews."

Furthermore, Al-Mayadeen extended its deepest condolences to Al-Manar TV for the martyrdom of colleague Wisam Qasim and prayed that God bestows strength and steadfastness upon his family.

Meanwhile, Al-Mayadeen's correspondent in South Lebanon, Fatima Ftouni, confirmed that the strike targeted a residential area where journalists, cameramen, and technicians from various media outlets were stationed in the region for several weeks.

From the targeted site in Hasbayya in South Lebanon, our correspondent asserted that the Israeli occupation directly targeted several press crews.

"Two missiles from a warplane directly targeted press crews," she affirmed, despite cars parked at the site clearly marked with 'PRESS'.

Similarly, on Wednesday evening, the Israeli occupation also launched an attack on Al-Mayadeen's bureau in Beirut. However, the channel had evacuated its office at the beginning of the assault on Lebanon.

Al-Mayadeen held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for the attack on a well-known media office of its widely-recognized news channel.

Following the attack, Lebanon's caretaker Minister of Information, Ziyad Makari, stated that the government will take measures regarding the attack on Al-Mayadeen and will correspond with relevant international bodies.

In an interview for Al-Mayadeen, Makari emphasized that this aggression will not affect the news network. The Minister also paid tribute to the two martyred colleagues, Farah 'Omar and Rabi'h Me'mari, and other martyred journalists.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent in South Lebanon, Fara'h 'Omar, alongside photojournalist Rab'ih Me'mari, and civil companion Hussein Akil were martyred on November 21 last year in an Israeli drone drone that deliberately targeted them in Tayr 'Harfa, South Lebanon.

An Israeli warplane fired two rockets on Fara'h and Rab'ih's location.

They had just ended a live broadcast, giving updates on the latest Israeli bombardment on South Lebanon. Al-Mayadeen's crew was targeted immediately after wrapping up their coverage and went off air.

On September 24, Hadi Al-Sayyid, our colleague at Al-Mayadeen, was also martyred in the Israeli aggression on South Lebanon.

Martyr Al-Sayyid had sustained critical injuries to the head after an Israeli airstrike hit his hometown of Burj Ra'h-'hal in South Lebanon. 

The martyr had been transported to a hospital in Sayda for treatment, undergoing urgent surgery, but he eventually succumbed to his wounds and tragically passed away, with his life cut so short.

Al-Mayadeen Media Network eulogized martyr Hadi Al-Sayyid, a colleague within its online department's social media unit. The network underlined that it will pursue its journey, undeterred and unbowed by Israeli aggression, pledging to remain steadfast in its battle against the Israeli occupation.

‎Lebanon: Martyrs and wounded in continuous Israeli attacks on villages in the south and the Biqaa'‎

‎Israeli warplanes continue to carry out raids on various villages in Al-Biqaa', the south and the southern suburb of Beirut, resulting in martyrs and dozens of injuries.‎

Gaza death toll tops 42,900 with no letup in Israeli assault

At least 77 more Palestinians were killed in relentless Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip over the last two days, pushing up the overall death toll since last year to 42,924, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza said on Saturday.

At least 100,833 others have also been injured in the year-long, ongoing Israeli assault on Gaza, according to a ministry statement.

“The Israeli occupation has committed seven massacres of families in the last 48 hours, resulting in 77 deaths and 289 injuries,” the ministry said.

“Many people are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads, as rescuers are unable to reach them,” it added.

Flouting a UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate cease-fire, the Israeli occupation apartheid regime has continued its brutal offensive on the Gaza Strip since an attack by the Palestinian Resistance Movement, Hamas, on Oct. 7, 2023.

The Israeli onslaught has displaced almost the entire population of the territory amid an ongoing blockade that has led to severe shortages of food, clean water, and medicine.

Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its actions in Gaza.

53 killed in Israeli strikes across Gaza: sources

At least 53 Palestinians were killed in Israeli strikes on the northern and southern Gaza Strip from Thursday night through Friday, Palestinian sources said.

In northern Gaza, an Israeli drone targeted on Friday a gathering of Palestinians in the Al-Mashtal area, north of the Al-Shati refugee camp, local sources and eyewitnesses told Xinhua.

Paramedics reported that medical teams and the Civil Defense service recovered the bodies of 11 people and found several injuries that were later transported to the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City.

Additionally, two Palestinians were killed and five others wounded in an Israeli strike on the port west of Gaza City, and another two Palestinians, including a girl, were killed in a third Israeli airstrike that targeted them in Al-Sina'a Street in the west of the city, said a statement from the city's Civil Defense service.

Meanwhile, in southern Gaza, at least 38 Palestinians were killed and dozens of others injured, mostly children and women, in Israeli attacks on houses in the southeast of Khan Younus from Thursday night to Friday morning, Gaza-based health authorities said in a press statement.

Local sources and eyewitnesses told Xinhua that Israeli aircraft and artillery heavily bombed the neighborhoods of Al-Manara, Ma'en, Al-Shaikh Nasir, and the outskirts of Qizan Al-Najjar, south and east of Khan Younis, forcing dozens of families to flee toward the western part of the city.

They said the Israeli attacks targeted several residential homes and a mosque in those areas, accompanied by a limited ground incursion.

The Israel Defense Forces said in a statement on Friday that it killed in southern Gaza a number of militants from the air and ground and dismantled numerous militant infrastructure sites over the past day.

On Friday, 'Husain Al-Shaikh, secretary general of the executive committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, had a phone conversation with Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Al-Shaikh Mu'hammed Bin Abdul Ra'hman Bin Jasim Al-Thani, Palestinian official news agency WAFA reported.

During the phone talks, they discussed recent developments in Palestinian affairs, especially the situation in Gaza and the West Bank, as well as the necessity of halting the ongoing Israeli "aggression" against the Palestinian people, the report said.

According to the report, the two sides agreed to continue bilateral, Arab, and international coordination to stop the war.

Israel has been conducting a large-scale offensive against Hamas in the Gaza Strip to retaliate against a Hamas rampage through the southern Israeli border on Oct. 7, 2023, during which about 1,200 people were killed and about 250 taken hostage.

The Palestinian death toll from ongoing Israeli attacks in Gaza has risen to 42,847, Gaza-based health authorities said in a statement on Thursday. ■

The Israeli genocidal war on Gaza enters Day 385

In the midst of catastrophic humanitarian suffering for more than two million Palestinians — half of them children, the Israeli occupation army continued, for the 385th consecutive day, to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians in the Gaza Strip, especially in the northern areas.

Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said on Friday that the Israeli occupation army carried out attacks on several homes, civilian targets and shelter centers in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, killing and injuring dozens of citizens.

Two Palestinians were killed after an Israeli aircraft targeted a group of people near Al-Qassam Mosque in Bait Lahya Project, north of the Gaza Strip.

A number of citizens were also injured in Israeli artillery shelling of Haleema Al-Sa'diya School, which houses dozens of displaced people in Jabalya Al-Nazla, north of Gaza.

This morning, the Israeli forces stormed the Kamal 'Udwan Hospital yard and gathered all the wounded and their companions in the yard and separated the men from the women.

Media sources reported that the Israeli forces arrested all the young men present in Kamal 'Udwan Hospital, including the social media activists 'Abboud Battah, 'Ali Batta'h, Abdul Ra'heem 'Obaid, and Idris Abu Safiya.”

Also today, the Israeli occupation army stormed Al-Rabi’ School and Tel Al-Zaatar west of Beit Lahia project and arrested a number of young men and burned parts of the schools.

38 citizens were killed at dawn today in a massive Israeli massive attack on seven homes in Khan Younus in the southern Gaza Strip. 50 other people were injured.

15 citizens from the Al-Farra family were also killed in an Israeli attack on their family home in the Al-Manara neighborhood, south of Khan Younus.

Meanwhile, Civil Defense pulled out 6 martyrs, including children, from the 'Abdeen family home, which was bombed by the Israeli occupation in the Qizan Al-Najjar area, east of Khan Younus Governorate, south of the Gaza Strip.

6 other citizens were killed in a new Israeli massacre against the Sob'h family in the Qizan Al-Najjar area, south of Khan Younus city.

Three more people, including two women, were killed and seven others were injured in an Israeli bombing attack on a displacement tent in Mawasi of Khan Younus.

Early today, the Israeli occupation forces killed and injured 150 people in an Israeli attack on a residential block in the Bait Lahya project, north of the Gaza Strip.

Civil Defense spokesman Ma'hmoud Basal said that there were “more than 150 killed and wounded in the attack,” adding that “no party intervened to save them.”

“The Israeli occupation bombed a residential area in the area. Citizens are sending distress calls to save them.”

Basal added that citizens “are facing great difficulty in transporting the victims after the Israeli army disrupted the work of the Civil Defense and medical services in the northern Gaza Strip.”

Israeli strikes targeting different areas in Gaza result in civilian casualties

GAZA, October 25, 2024 (WAFA) –

Twenty civilians were killed and others were injured on Friday in Israeli airstrikes targeting different areas in Gaza City, raising the number of civilians killed in the Strip since dawn today to 81, including 42 who were killed in the northern Strip, according to medical sources.

Local sources reported that 11 civilians were killed and several others were injured in the occupation's shelling of a group of civilians to the north of the Al-Shati (Beach) refugee camp, northwest of Gaza City.

Two civilians were also killed and others were injured in a strike by Israeli warplanes targeting a site near the Gaza Industrial Estate in Gaza City.

Two civilians were killed and one was wounded in an Israeli airstrike targeting the fishing port west of Gaza City.

Five civilians were also killed and others were injured in an Israeli air raid targeting a bus in the vicinity of the Al-Khaldi Mosque northwest of Gaza City.

The occupation forces broke into the UNRWA-run at Al-Fakhoura Health Centre west of Jabalya crefugee amp and forced the displaced people taking shelter there to evacuate.

Israeli tanks and artillery intensively shelled Al-Safatawi area north of Gaza City.

According to local sources, the medical staff are still inside the besieged Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza. Earlier, the Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, announced that communication has been lost with the staff at Kamal 'Udwan Hospital in northern Gaza following an incursion by Israeli forces.

This morning, at least 20 civilians were killed and dozens of others were injured after occupation fighter jets bombed two homes in the town of Bait Lahya in the besieged northern Strip.

Israeli warplanes also shelled a house west of Al-Nusayrat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, however, no injuries were reported.

In the south of the Strip, civilians recovered the body of a civilian killed in the occupation’s shelling of a house north of the city of Rafa'h.

By October 24, 2024, the Israeli occupation forces ongoing genocidal  war on the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air since October 7, 2023, has so far resulted in the killing of 42,874 civilians, and the injury of 100,544 others, mostly children and women.

UNICEF: Gaza children dying in waiting for medical evacuation

UNICEF Spokesperson James Elder issued a grave warning on Friday about “lethal delays” that children in Gaza are facing due to the ongoing war and siege, noting that medical evacuations are occurring at an alarming rate of less than one child per day.

Speaking at a press briefing in Geneva, Elder stressed that at this dangerously slow pace it could take more than “seven years” to evacuate the 2,500 children in urgent need of medical care.

Elder reported that children in Gaza are dying not only from the bombs, bullets and strikes but because even when “miracles happen” and those who survive these atrocities are condemned to die from their injuries without being allowed to leave Gaza to receive the urgent care that would save their lives.

He underlined that an average of 296 children were medically evacuated each month between 1 January and 7 May.

Since the closure of the Rafa'h crossing on 7 May due to the Israeli occupation ground offensive, the number of children being medically evacuated has dropped to just 22 per month, he said, adding that many are suffering from head trauma, amputations, burns, cancer and severe malnutrition.

Elder stressed that “one of the many tragedies of Gaza is that the appalling figures have failed to move those in power to act”.

He noted that this is not a logistical problem, as UN agencies have the capacity to safely transport these children out of Gaza, not even a capacity problem: “It is simply a problem that is being completely ignored.”

Al-Bursh: IOFs prevent entry of medical supplies to northern Gaza

Director General of the Palestinian Ministry of Healthin Gaza, Dr. Munir Al-Bursh, said that the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) prevented the entry of medical supplies to Kamal 'Udwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip.

Al-Bursh further noted that the IOF stormed Kamal 'Udwan Hospital after an international delegation visited the health facility, saying that they lost contact with the director of the hospital after detaining him.

He added that about 850 Palestinians have been killed in the northern Gaza Strip since the start of the Israeli military operation in northern Gaza.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip said that “the Israeli soldiers forced all males held in the Kamal 'Udwan Hospital to take off their clothes before arresting some of them.”

“The medical staff were gathered and held in one room, including the hospital director, Hussam Abu Safiya, before being gathered in the hospital yard,” the ministry added.

The ministry explained that “all of those detainees’ fate is still unknown.”

The ministry called on international institutions to “urgently intervene to protect health personnel and patients held in the Kamal 'Udwan Hospital without water, food, or medical services.”

For his part, the Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, announced earlier on Friday that contact had been lost with the staff of Kamal 'Udwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip after being stormed by the Israeli forces.

Palestinian youth injured by Israeli forces' live fire east of Nablus

A Palestinian young man was wounded by live bullets on Friday evening during confrontations that broke out following an Israeli military incursion into the town of Bait Foureek, east of Nablus.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said its crews dealt with the injury of a young man who was struck by a live bullet in his foot, describing his injuries as moderate.

The occupation forces stormed the town this evening, sparking confrontations with residents, during which forces attacked residents with live ammunition and tear gas bombs.

The town has been subjected to repeated incursions in recent days, leading to several injuries among residents.

Fresh Israeli raids and kidnappings of Palestinians across the West Bank

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) launched a large-scale raid and kidnapping campaign across the West Bank at dawn Friday.

In Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), dozens of Israeli military vehicles stormed the Qalandya refugee camp and 'Anata town, breaking into a large number of local homes.

More than 65 Palestinians were kidnapped during the raids after the Israeli occupation forces turned a local home into an investigation center.

An Israeli violent raid and search campaign was carried out in the homes of the kidnapped Palestinians.

The IOFs also kidnapped two brothers in Aree'ha (Jericho), and another Palestinian in Nablus after raiding and searching his family house.

Meanwhile, a group of the illegal Israeli settlers attacked the Salman Al-Farisi roundabout area at the entrance to 'Huwwara town, in Nablus, which led to the outbreak of violent clashes.

The IOFs also stormed Qalqilya from its eastern entrance and raided several neighborhoods before raiding and searching a number of local homes and investigating their owners.

Israeli occupation forces kidnap Palestinian south of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), 54 in last 24 hours

RAMALLAH, October 25, 2024 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces Friday evening detained a Palestinian from the Al-Khdir town, south of the occupied West Bank city of Jerusalem, bringing the total of detainees in the last 24 hours to 54, according to local sources.

They said that the occupation forces physically assaulted and rounded up a youth while he was in the vicinity of his house in the town.

Meanwhile, the occupation forces barged their way into Al-Nabi Saleh village, northwest of Ramallah, where they muscled inside a villager’s house and briefly held his son.

The soldiers forced the owners of stores located at the village entrance to close their stores, simultaneously while setting up a checkpoint and inspecting passengers’ identity cards.

The raid triggered confrontations, but there was no information on any casualties or detention cases.

Earlier today, the occupation forces kidnapped 53 Palestinians, including 45, who were rounded up in a large-scale operation in the town of 'Anata, east of Jerusalem.

Israeli soldiers detained two of the remaining eight Palestinians from Qalandya refugee camp, north of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), and ransacked their house, turning it topsy-turvy.

Another was identified as a resident of the Dthinnaba neighborhood, east of Tularm, another as a resident of Hebron city, another as a resident of Al-Dthahiriya, south of Hebron, another as a resident of ‘Ueeif village, south of Nablus, and two others as residents of 'Aqbat Jabr refugee camp.

Israeli occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for "wanted" Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

These raids, which also take place in areas under the full control of the Palestinian Authority, are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.

Under Israeli military law army commanders have full executive, legislative and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.

According to the latest figures from Al-Dhameer, the Palestinian Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association, there are currently 10,100 Palestinian political prisoners in Israeli prisons and detention centers, including 270 children and 95 female prisoners.

This number includes 3,398 Palestinians placed under “administrative detention”, which allows the detention of Palestinians without charge or trial for renewable intervals ranging between three and six months based on undisclosed evidence that even a detainee’s lawyer is barred from viewing.

The mass arrest of Palestinians is nothing new. According to a 2017 report by Al-Dhameer, over the past 50 years, more than 800,000 Palestinians have been imprisoned or detained by Israel, this figure is now believed to be closer to 1 million. This means that about 40% of Palestinian men and boys living under military occupation have been deprived of their freedom. Almost every Palestinian family has suffered the imprisonment of a loved one.

Israeli occupation forces and illegal settlers attack olive harvesters west of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem)

Israeli occupation forces and illegal settlers attacked on Friday Palestinian olive harvesters and forced them out of their lands in the town of Batteer, west of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem).

One of the landowners, Ghassan I'layyan, told WAFA that the occupation forces and the colonists attacked the olive pickers and activists from the "Fighters for Peace" movement, which organized a volunteer day to support local farmers.

Forces beat up the farmers and attacked them with sound bombs, causing cuts and bruises to several people. Several activists were also detained by the forces.

Israeli occupation forces and illegal settlers forced Palestinian landowners to leave their property, citing the presence of media and activists.

The Palestinian coordinator of the "Fighters for Peace" movement, Jameel Al-Qassas, said: "We are here to help Palestinian landowners and strengthen their resilience in the face of the rampant colonial onslaught."

Since the beginning of the olive harvest season, Palestinian farmers have been subjected to almost daily attacks by colonists, involving physical assaults, property destruction, the forcible expulsion of farmers at gunpoint, the release of livestock onto their land and crop theft.

The olive harvest season is crucial for thousands of Palestinian families, many of whom rely on it for their livelihood.

Illegal Israeli settlers attack Palestinian olive pickers northeast of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem)

A group of the illegal Israeli extremist settlers attacked on Friday Palestinian olive-pickers in the town of 'Hizma, northeast of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

Local sources told WAFA that a group of the illegal Israeli settlers from the ‘Adam’ colony, built illegally on Palestinian land in the towns of 'Hizma and Jaba’, attacked several members of the Abu 'Hilo family while they were picking olives in the eastern part of the town, to force them to leave their land.

The illegal Israeli settler attacks on residents and their property in the eastern part of the town of 'Hizma have escalated since the beginning of the olive harvest season.

The olive harvest season is crucial for thousands of Palestinian families, many of whom rely on it for their livelihood.

Israeli occupation forces close Al-Shuhada Street in Al-Khaleel (Hebron), entrances to Nablus-area village

 Israeli occupation forces Friday closed the entrance of al-Shuhada Street in the southern West Bank city of Hebron, preventing Palestinian locals from reaching their homes.

Local sources told WAFA that Israeli soldiers closed the al-Shuhada checkpoint in the center of Hebron and reinforced their presence near the checkpoint, preventing citizens from crossing to reach their homes. Forces also took over the rooftops of citizens’ homes in the Bab Al-Zawiya area.  

Forces also erected military checkpoints in Ras Al-Joara and Farsh Al-Hawa areas northwest of Hebron, searching Palestinian-registered vehicles and checking the identity cards of passengers.

In Nablus, Israeli forces closed the eastern and northern entrances to the village of Madama to the south.

The Head of the Madama village council, 'Abdullah Ziyada, told WAFA that forces closed the eastern and northern entrances, erected military checkpoints and prevented residents from entering and exiting the village.

The village has been subjected to periodic blockades of its entrances by the Israeli forces, obstructing the movement of its residents.

Since 7 October 2023, the Israeli authorities have imposed severe restrictions on the movement of Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem.

'Hamas calls on Arab and Islamic leaders to take action to stop the Israeli war of genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza

 The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, 'Hamas, called on Arab and Islamic leaders to assume their responsibilities and to act to stop the war of genocide and ethnic cleansing the Palestinian people are being subjected to in Gaza.

'Hamas said in a statement on Friday, “storming the Martyr Kamal 'Udwan Hospital in the Bait Lahya Project, hours after laying a siege on it, and carrying out a campaign of arrests and abuse against the patients, wounded, medical staff, displaced families and media activists, and taking them to an unknown location, is a war crime and a flagrant violation of international laws”.

It stressed that what is happening in the northern Gaza Strip including massacres and relentless bombardment of homes, and the demolition of residential blocks on top of its residents, leading to the martyrdom of dozens of civilians, most of them children and women, is a Zionist escalation of the ongoing ethnic cleansing war in the northern Gaza Strip.

'Hamas held the international community and its institutions, which have remained silent about Israeli crimes, politically and morally responsible for the continuation of the Israeli crimes, stressing that they are also responsible for the collapse of international laws and values, due to repetitive Zionist violations.

Earlier on Friday, Hamas called on the masses of the Arab and Islamic countries as well as the free people of the world to participate in the Friday of Rage for Gaza.

It stressed the need to take to the streets in angry and massive rallies after Friday prayers, in rejection of the ongoing genocide in the northern Gaza Strip that led to the martyrdom of hundreds and the displacement of thousands and the burning of homes, hospitals and shelters in an attempt to implement the displacement plans that “our people in the northern Gaza Strip have thwarted many times.”

Public and youth calls were also launched to urge the Palestinian people to mobilize and go out in massive marches in all squares and streets of the West Bank and Jerusalem after Friday prayer, in support of Gaza and the resistance and in confrontation with the escalating crimes of the Israeli occupation in northern Gaza.

The calls underlined that the Israeli plans exceed Gaza and Al-Aqsa Mosque, noting that the Israeli occupation has been seeking for years to liquidate the Palestinian cause and displace the Palestinian people from all occupied Palestine, stressing the need to unite behind the choice of resistance, as the only solution to confront the occupation’s plans, arrogance, and escalating crimes.

World Health Organization loses contact with Kamal 'Udwan Hospital staff in Gaza

GENEVA, October 25, 2024 (WAFA) –

The Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, announced today that communication has been lost with the staff at Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza following an incursion by Israeli forces.

In a statement shared on social media, Ghebreyesus expressed deep concern over the situation, highlighting that the hospital is currently housing approximately 200 patients along with hundreds of displaced individuals seeking refuge.

Late last night, the WHO and its partners managed to reach Kamal 'Udwan Hospital, successfully transferring 23 patients and 26 healthcare workers to Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City. The team also delivered 180 units of blood, surgical supplies, and medications for over 5,000 patients.

Ghebreyesus pointed out the alarming loss of communication with hospital personnel amid reports of the Israeli military's invasion. He described this development as extremely troubling given the number of patients relying on care and the individuals sheltering within the hospital.

Earlier reports from medical and local sources indicated that Israeli forces had detained hundreds of patients, medical staff, and displaced individuals inside Kamal 'Udwan Hospital after the incursion.

Since October 5, Israeli forces have intensified their ground attacks and heavy bombardment across various areas of northern Gaza, aiming to displace residents through forced evacuations and relocations.

40% of 43,000 killed by Israeli forces in Gaza are children

The Gaza Media Office has released a detailed overview of the Israeli genocidal war on Palestinians, including both material and human losses.

The Israeli genocidal war on Palestinians in the Gaza Strip has resulted in the martyrdom of 42,885 people and injured another, the Government's Media Office in Gaza revealed. 

The Israeli war of genocide

Israeli occupation forces committed at least 3,738 massacres in the Gaza Strip, throughout the 385 days of war. 

The Media Office has made clear that the 42,885 martyrs in Gaza only include those who have been transferred to hospitals for burial and whose identities were confirmed by authorities. Additionally, 10,000 individuals were reported missing throughout the war, many of whom have been killed and their bodies have not been found or remain stuck underneath the rubble. 

Moreover, 17,210 children have been martyred since the start of the war on Gaza. The Media Office shared additional details stating that 1,047 medical workers, 85 emergency workers, and 177 journalists have been martyred. 

At least 1,206 households have had their entire family members killed by Israeli occupation forces. 

As for the effects of the Israeli siege on the Gaza Strip and the blocking of crucial humanitarian aid, 37 Palestinians were starved to death, while 3,500 Palestinian children are in life-threatening conditions due to malnutrition. 

Additionally, the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that two children were killed in the intensive care unit at Kamal Adwan Hospital, in Beit Lahia, in the northern Gaza Strip, after the hospital was not allowed any fuel for power and its oxygen station was destroyed by occupation forces.

Destroying vital infrastructure, killing essential workers

In terms of the systematic destruction of the besieged territory's vital infrastructure, Israeli occupation forces attacked 197 shelter centers, forced 34 hospitals out of service, destroyed 205 governmental headquarters, and destroyed 126 schools and universities. 

The occupation forces launched an arrest campaign from the Gaza Strip that affected 5,280 people, including 310 health workers and 38 journalists whose names were known.

Continuous besiegement of hospitals

In Beit Lahia, the Kamal Adwan Hospital is facing an increasingly "alarming"  situation, where Israeli occupation forces have besieged the medical center. 

A total of 600 individuals are besieged within the hospital, which goes hand in hand with the Israeli occupation's continued attempts to ethnically cleanse the northern Gaza Strip. 

The Ministry of Health reported that three ambulances and a transport vehicle were destroyed, hindering relief and transportation operations. The solar system in the hospital was also destroyed, further worsening the situation. Moreover, Israeli occupation forces continue to terrorize medical staff, patients, and companions in the hospital, by firing their weapons and assaulting individuals. 

These circumstances "require urgent intervention by humanitarian organizations, to ensure everyone's safety," the ministry urged.

UN Human Rights Chief says world must act as darkest moment of Gaza conflict unfolds

GENEVA, October 25, 2024 (WAFA) -

UN Human Rights Chief, Volker Türk, said on Friday that the darkest moment of the Gaza conflict is unfolding in the north of the Strip, where the Israeli military is effectively subjecting an entire population to bombing, siege and risk of starvation, as well as being forced to choose between mass displacement and being trapped in an active conflict zone.

He called on the world’s leaders to act, saying States have a duty under the Geneva Conventions to ensure respect for international humanitarian law.

“The bombing in North Gaza is non-stop,” he said. “The Israeli military has ordered hundreds of thousands to move, with no guarantees of return. But there is no safe way to leave: the bombs continue to fall; the Israeli military is separating families and detaining many people; and people fleeing have been reportedly shot at.”

“Unimaginably, the situation is getting worse by the day. The Israeli Government’s policies and practices in northern Gaza risk emptying the area of all Palestinians. We are facing what could amount to atrocity crimes, including potentially extending to crimes against humanity,” he said.

 “There is extremely limited access to this part of Gaza,” the High Commissioner added. “Next to no aid has reached the area in weeks, with unlawful restrictions remaining, and many are now facing starvation.”

“The Israeli military is striking hospitals, and staff and patients have been killed and injured or forced to evacuate simultaneously. Shelters, once schools, are struck daily. Communication with the outside world remains extremely limited. Journalists continue to be killed.”

He noted that more than 150,000 people in Gaza are reported as killed, wounded, or missing. “My gravest fear is, given the intensity, breadth, scale and blatant nature of the Israeli operation currently underway in North Gaza, that number will rise dramatically,” he said.

He reiterated his alarm at the methods and means of warfare, and the gravity of the violations committed.

He said the International Court of Justice has also been clear on Israel’s obligation to ensure entry and delivery of humanitarian aid, and to this effect has issued binding orders to ensure Israel conforms with its obligations under the Genocide Convention.

“Under the Geneva Conventions, States have an obligation to act when a serious violation of international humanitarian law has been committed,” Türk said. “Under the Genocide Convention, State parties also have the responsibility to act to prevent such a crime, when risk becomes apparent.”

 “Now, the international rule of law is being progressively dismantled,” he added. “Either the world ashamedly fails those who so desperately need help, or we stand united and put a stop to this.

“To all the world’s leaders, I remind you of your responsibility to ensure respect for international humanitarian law as set out in the Geneva Conventions. These are universally accepted and binding norms developed to preserve the very bare minimum of humanity. I implore you to put the protection of civilians and human rights first, and not to abandon that minimum of humanity.”
