In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful "Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32). "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93). "If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, (you do it) to yourselves" (Al-Isra, 17: 7). *** While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians. No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since. This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948. The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

In a separate incident, the Israeli occupation forces targeted a house in the Wadi Al-Sabr area, east of Khan Younus, leading to more casualties. At least several more individuals were injured in that attack, according to local medical sources. The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 43,552 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 102,765 others injured. Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks. Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza. M.N. *** Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip enters Day 400 Saturday 9-November-2024 GAZA, (PIC) In the midst of catastrophic humanitarian suffering for more than two million Palestinians — half of them children, the Israeli occupation army continued, for the 400th consecutive day, to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians in the Gaza Strip, especially in the northern areas. Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said on Saturday that the Israeli occupation army carried out attacks on several homes, civilian targets and shelter centers in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, killing and injuring dozens of citizens. The Israeli army’s large-scale genocidal campaign in northern Gaza, especially in Jabalya and Bait Lahya, has entered day 36, where its forces continue to intensively bomb homes and shelters and attack civilians while imposing a tight siege on the entire area. The Israeli army also continued their deliberate attacks on ambulance and civil defense workers for the 18th day, depriving northern Gaza of any rescue services. In the early morning hours, the Israeli warplanes targeted the Abu Jarad family home in the Manshiyya area of Bait Lahya, killing and injuring several people. At dawn today, nine citizens were killed in an Israeli bombing targeting displacement tents west of Khan Younus. The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has reached 43,508 martyrs and 102,684 injuries since October 7, 2023. *** Two Palestinians killed, 26 injured in an Israeli airstrike on tents for the displaced and journalists Saturday 9-November-2024 GAZA, (PIC) Two Palestinians were killed and 26 others injured in an Israeli airstrike on tents sheltering displaced people and journalists in the Shuhada Al-Aqsa Hospital’s courtyard in Dair El-Bala'h on Saturday. The Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) said that the airstrike fell in line with the crime of genocide committed by the Israeli occupation army in Gaza. It pointed out that the occupation army continues to target hospital and shelters for the displaced citizens with absolute disregard for the international laws. PGMO condemned in the strongest words the shelling of hospitals, civilians’ shelters and journalists, holding Israel, the US administration and all countries supporting Israel in its war on Gaza responsible for such blatant breach of the international law. The PGMO urged the international community to pressure Israel to end such crimes. *** Israeli occupation forces execute three Gaza detainees shortly after release GAZA, November 9, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces executed three Palestinians from the Gaza Strip this afternoon, shortly after releasing them from detention. The men had been detained during Israel's military offensive on northern Gaza in early October. According to local sources and eyewitnesses, the detainees were freed from Israeli custody at the Zikim military base near the northern Gaza border. After their release, the Israeli navy targeted the three men with gunfire from warships as they were near Al-Khalidi Mosque, along the coastal road northwest of Gaza City. The victims, identified as two elderly men: 'Ali and Nadi Ma'rouf, and a young man, 'Hamza Al-Hato. They were transferred to Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City, where their bodies were received. The three men were originally detained by Israeli occupation forces during the wide-scale military offensive in northern Gaza in early October. M.N. *** ý*** Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces *** Palestinian young man killed in an Israeli occupation forces raid on Toubas Saturday 9-November-2024 Toubas, (PIC) A Palestinian young man was killed and another was injured on Saturday after the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) stormed Aqaba village to the north of Toubas City, in the West Bank. Local sources identified the martyr as Adham Zayid 'Izzat Al-Masry. The victim’s body is still upheld by the IOFs, the sources added. Earlier today, a special Israeli force surrounded a local house during the 'Aqaba raid before shelling the house. A 50-year-old citizen was also injured by live ammunition in the chest and was transferred to the hospital in critical condition, while another 49-year-old man suffered from bruises all over his body after being attacked by the Israeli forces Meanwhile, rights sources affirmed that the Israeli occupation forces kidnapped at least three citizens from their family homes during the raid. Later, the IOFs demolished the memorial of the martyr Khalid Al-Shaweesh, during their ongoing raid on the town. Israeli special forces infiltrated into 'Aqaba town earlier at dawn Saturday and surrounded a local house amid heavy overflight of reconnaissance aircraft. *** Israeli occupation army Raids, clashes reported in West Bank Saturday 9-November-2024 WEST BANK, (PIC) The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) stormed several Palestinian towns on Saturday morning, which led to the outbreak of violent clashes. Local sources said that Palestinian resistance fighters attacked IOFs with explosive devices after they broke into Ya’bad and Jaba’ towns, southwest of Jineen. The Al-Quds Brigades – Jineen Battalion announced that its fighters detonated a highly explosive device last night in Israeli vehicles in Silat Al-Dthahr, achieving direct hits. The IOFs also stormed Nablus City and 'Askar refugee camp, which led to the outbreak of violent clashes with Palestinian resistance fighters. Similar raids were reported in Toulkarm, where IOFs surrounded a local house. Media sources also reported that Israeli occupation forces raided Budrus town, west of Ramallah. The Israeli occupation forces opened fire at a Palestinian car after breaking into Koabar town, north of Ramallah. Raids were also carried out in Silwad, Ni’leen, and Beer Zait towns. In Al-Khaleel (Hebron), the IOFs attacked a group of young men, wounding one of them in the head and kidnapping a number of young men after storming Tabaqa town, south of Doura. In Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), the Israeli occupation forces stormed 'Anata town and the Qalandya refugee camp. Along with the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation forces and illegal settlers escalated their attacks in the West Bank and Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), killing more than 779 Palestinians, injuring about 6,300 others, and kidnapping 11,400 more citizens over the past 13 months. *** Several Palestinians suffocate in Israeli occupation army raid in southern West Bank town Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), November 9, 2024 (WAFA) – Several Palestinians Saturday evening suffocated in the course of an Israeli occupation army raid in Al-Khadhir town, south of the occupied West Bank city of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem, according to WAFA correspondent. He said that the occupation forces stormed the town, deployed at the Al-Balou‘ area in the town and set up a checkpoint, stopping Palestinian-registered vehicles and inspecting passengers’ ID cards. In the course of the raid, the gun-toting soldiers fired volleys of tear gas canisters and concussion bombs towards stores, causing several people to suffocate from excessive tear gas inhalation. All of the suffocation cases were treated at the scene. Meanwhile, soldiers manning the military tower at the main road near Al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron, stormed the camp entrance, simultaneously while firing barrages of teargas canisters towards the residents’ houses. There was no immediate information on any casualties or ransacking houses though. Since the onset of the genocidal aggression on the Gaza Strip in October 2023, the occupation forces have been sealing off the entrance of the refugee camp with a metal gate, denying Palestinians access to and out of it and forcing them to take lengthy alternative roads to reach their destinations. The Israeli occupation apartheid regime severely restricts Palestinians’ freedom of movement through a complex combination of over 100 permanent checkpoints, flying checkpoints, settler-only roads and various other physical obstructions. Closures besides other measures, taken under the guise of security, are intended to entrench Israel’s 57-year-old military occupation of the West Bank and its settler colonial project which it enforces with routine and frequently deadly violence against Palestinians. K.F. *** *** Aggression and Attacks by Illegal Israeli Settlers and Soldiers *** IOFs, illegal settlers attack Palestinian farmers, prevent them from picking olives in West Bank Saturday 9-November-2024 WEST BANK, (PIC) Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) attacked on Saturday Palestinian farmers in the villages and towns of Salfeet and Nablus governorates in the West Bank and prevented them from picking olives in their agricultural lands. Local sources reported that the IOFs forced farmers to leave their lands in Al-Qada area north of Dair Istya town, claiming that the area is a closed military zone. An Israeli security guard of the adjacent Rafafa settlement fired live bullets at farmers who were picking olives in the Al-Ma’aridh area. The IOFs and settlers attacked on Friday Palestinian farmers in the same areas, attempted to assault them, forced them to leave their lands, and threatened them not to come back again. Meanwhile, Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian farmers and olive pickers in the village of Burin, south of Nablus. Local sources reported that a number of settlers attacked olive pickers in the town, assaulted them, forced them to evacuate their lands, and stole their olive fruits. The olive harvest season in the West Bank this year is witnessing repeated attacks by settlers and IOF, including killing, burning, and cutting down olive trees, stealing the crops, and preventing farmers from approaching their lands. *** The Israeli occupation apartheid regime forces Palestinian to self-demolish house south of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), November 9, 2024 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupation apartheid regime (IOAR) Saturday forced a Palestinian to self-demolish his house in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) neighborhood of Silwan, according to local sources. They said that Mu'hammed Al-A‘war had no choice but to tear down his house, which was home to his five-member family, after the occupation court rejected his request to have a license issued for his house to avoid paying exorbitant fines if the latter carried out the demolition on its own. Using the pretext of illegal building, Israeli occupation authorities demolish houses regularly to restrict Palestinian expansion in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem). At the same time, the occupation Municipality and government build tens of thousands of housing units in illegal colonies in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) for Jews to offset the demographic balance in favor of the Jewish colonists in the occupied city. Although Palestinians in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), a part of the internationally recognized Palestinian Territory that has been subject to Israeli military occupation since 1967, they are denied their citizenship rights and are instead classified only as "residents" whose permits can be revoked if they move away from the city for more than a few years. They are also discriminated against in all aspects of life including housing, employment and services, and are unable to access services in the occupied West Bank due to the construction of Israel's separation and apartheid wall. According to a report by the Israeli human rights group B’Tselem, the Israeli High Court could be liable for war crimes for their policies that led to the dispossession of Palestinians from their properties in Area C of the West Bank. The report, Fake Justice, shows that the court’s support of Israeli planning policy is tantamount to support for dispossession and forcible transfer of Palestinians, a war crime under international law. Since October 7, 2023, the occupation authorities have torn down and razed approximately 360 houses in Jerusalem as part of Israel’s systematic policy aimed at displacing indigenous Palestinians from the city and deprive them of their historic and national rights. K.F. *** *** News Related to the Israeli Genocidal War on the Palestinian People *** Global experts warn of high risk of famine in northern Gaza, calling for immediate action Saturday 9-November-2024 LONDON, (PIC) A committee of global food security experts warned on Friday of a “strong possibility of an imminent starvation in areas” in the northern Gaza Strip. Famine Review Committee (FRC) said, “Immediate action, within days not weeks, is required from all actors who are directly taking part in the conflict, or who have influence on its conduct, to avert and alleviate this catastrophic situation,” it said. Reuters quotes the Committee as saying, “If no effective action is taken by stakeholders with influence, the scale of this looming catastrophe is likely to dwarf anything we have seen so far in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.” The FRC said it could be “assumed that starvation, malnutrition, and excess mortality due to malnutrition and disease, are rapidly increasing” in northern Gaza, noting that “Famine thresholds may have already been crossed or else will be in the near future.” For its part, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said that about 75,000- 95,000 people are still in northern Gaza. The spokesman for the United Nations, Stephen Dujarric, said during a press conference, that the northern Gaza Strip has been under Israeli blockade for about a month, and that the Palestinians are dying from hunger while the world is watching, stressing “the need to stop these crimes.” *** HRW: Military support for Israel violates international law Saturday 9-November-2024 NEW YORK, (PIC) The head of Human Rights Watch (HRW) said on Friday that “states supplying weapons to Israel as it pursues conflicts in Gaza and Lebanon despite evidence of violations of international law are empowering belligerents elsewhere.” Tirana Hassan, HRW’s Executive Director, said that countries like the United States, Germany and Britain could influence Israel’s actions and should do so by ending arms sales. “If there continues to be military support to the Israeli Defense Force and they (Western governments) know that these weapons are being used in the commission of war crimes, then that should be enough for weapons sales and transfers to stop,” she told Reuters in an interview. “At this stage, the parties that could have some sort of influence and curb the behavior of the warring parties, when it comes to Israel, it’s the US, it’s the UK, and it’s Germany, and it’s through weapons sales and transfers,” she elaborated. Hassan said that when states, which abused rights, saw there were no consequences, they felt emboldened to continue. Governments supplying them with weapons were undermining their own credibility as defenders of international law and human rights as well as the credibility of the international system, she said. “It sends a message that these rules apply differently to us and our allies as they do to others, and that has really serious consequences,” she said. This contradiction when Western countries were demanding accountability for Russia’s invasion of Ukraine was being exploited by countries like Russia and China, she said. “They are very quick to point out double standards from the West and are trying to use that to undermine the system.” Hassan’s media statements came as the UN rights office released a report on the death toll in the Israeli war on Gaza, where it said nearly 70% of verified fatalities were women and children. “This should now motivate the world into action. There is really no justification for the killing of children,” Hassan said. *** Israel's move to ban UNRWA: a new attempt to erase Palestinian presence in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) By Maham al-Sheikh Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), November 9, 2024 (WAFA) – In the northern outskirts of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), close to the Qalandya refugee camp, stands the Qalandya Training College, one of the first institutions created by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in the occupied Palestinian territories in 1953. Today, it offers vocational training to over 270 students across 14 specializations, providing services like dormitories, medical care, and career guidance. Every year, some 250 to 300 students graduate from the college, ready to enter the workforce with skills that could help them rebuild their lives amidst ongoing occupation. But now, the future of Qalandya Training College, along with other vital UNRWA services in Jerusalem, is under threat. A recent law passed by the Israeli Knesset seeks to ban the agency’s operations within areas deemed under “Israeli sovereignty,” specifically in Jerusalem and other parts of the West Bank. The new legislation prohibits UNRWA from operating any offices, providing any services, or conducting any activities in the territory it occupies, effectively aiming to force the agency out of the region it has served for decades. This law, which is set to come into effect in 90 days, has grave implications not just for the 110,000 Palestinian refugees in Jerusalem, but also for the very concept of Palestinian identity and rights in the city. Israeli authorities have been trying to consolidate control over the city by erasing any traces of Palestinian presence, culture, and institutions. Targeting the heart of Palestinian refugee services UNRWA’s services in Jerusalem, which include health care, education, and social support, are a lifeline for tens of thousands of Palestinian refugees living in the city. The agency operates two refugee camps in Jerusalem: Shu'fat refugee Camp, home to over 16,500 refugees, and Qalandya Camp, with around 16,400 residents. Additionally, nearly 1,800 students attend UNRWA schools in the city, while thousands more rely on the agency’s medical clinics, including one in the heart of Jerusalem's Old City. Since the U.S. decision to recognize Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) as Israel’s "unified capital" in 2017, a shift that was strongly criticized by the international community, Israel has been emboldened to take more drastic actions aimed at diminishing Palestinian presence in the city. These moves, however, have escalated significantly in recent months, particularly following Israel's genocidal war on Gaza and the West Bank. UNRWA has faced increasing pressure, with Israeli officials accusing it of perpetuating “terrorism” and “incitement,” all while undermining Palestinian sovereignty and international law. The recent Israeli moves to seize land from UNRWA in Sheikh Jarra'h, the planned eviction of the Qalandya Training College, and the growing clampdown on the agency’s operations all point to a larger strategy to remove any Palestinian or international institutions from Jerusalem. The Israeli government’s actions are in direct contradiction with UN resolutions that affirm the Palestinian right to self-determination and the status of Jerusalem as the capital of the State of Palestine. The political and legal dimensions of the ban Sami Mushasha, an expert on UNRWA affairs, told WAFA that the closure of the agency's headquarters in Sheikh Jarrah has symbolic, political, and operational significance. He explained that the agency's operations in the West Bank are managed from Jerusalem, and the Israeli occupation aims to assert that there are no refugees in Jerusalem and to declare the city as their unified capital. He further explained that the impact of the decision to ban UNRWA’s operations would affect thousands of refugees who hold Jerusalem IDs, particularly those living in Shu'fat refugee camp. It will also impact the agency's presence in the Old City and the surrounding neighborhoods, as well as its schools in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem). Mushasha added that the decision is a key step toward dismantling the agency's services in the West Bank, where tens of thousands of refugees rely on health, educational, social, and humanitarian services that have been provided for decades. There will be an attempt to gradually eliminate the agency's operations. He pointed out that the danger lies in the closure of UNRWA schools in Shu'fat refugee camp, both for boys and girls, as well as other schools in areas such as Soor Bahir, Silwan, and Wadi Al-Joaz. This would place additional burdens on refugees to register their children, noting that private schools and those under the Waqf (religious endowment) are already overcrowded. The only remaining option would be to enroll in Israeli-run public schools, which teach the Israeli curriculum. Mushasha clarified that the decision also prohibits Israeli officials from communicating with any UNRWA employees, and the agency will be denied tax exemptions, adding a substantial burden. Additionally, the agency’s officials and staff will have their visas revoked and not renewed. This began with the declaration of the UNRWA Commissioner-General as an "undesirable person" and a ban on his entry into Jerusalem, a decision that remains in effect to this day. The UNRWA expert believes the decision will severely impact the job security of hundreds of employees working in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) at the agency's headquarters, as well as many others working in Jerusalem and its suburbs. However, he argues that the most significant impact will be on the agency's ability to import life-saving food and humanitarian supplies, which will no longer be allowed to be stored in warehouses after being brought through Israeli ports. This will impair the agency’s ability to meet its humanitarian obligations, especially toward refugees and the poor in the West Bank, where they are numerous. Political and legal consequences The Israeli targeting of UNRWA and the ban on its operations, especially in occupied Jerusalem, carries both political and legal dimensions, in addition to the humanitarian impact. In this regard, Justice Minister Shura'hbeel Al-Za'eem told WAFA that the Israeli decision to ban UNRWA’s operations violates international law because Israel has specific obligations. UNRWA was created by a UN resolution, and Israel's membership in the UN was conditioned on its acceptance of resolutions 181, 194, and the subsequent resolution 302, which established UNRWA. He added that the Israeli targeting of UNRWA’s presence and operations in East Jerusalem is part of Israel's systematic targeting of the city, seeking to impose it as Israel's "unified capital," a position that contradicts international laws and UN resolutions. The most recent of these is the advisory opinion issued by the International Court of Justice and adopted by the UN General Assembly in September, which affirmed that Israel's occupation of Palestinian territories, including East Jerusalem, is illegal and must end within a year. The Justice Minister continued, stating that Israel is disregarding these resolutions and trying to impose a new reality through force. While the ban on UNRWA's operations may not directly affect the historical and legal status of Jerusalem, it will have an indirect impact by attempting to entrench Israel's illegal control over Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) and gradually emptying the city of institutions that serve Palestinians and reinforce their presence there.
