While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

 After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

Death toll across Gaza Strip surges to 45,541 and injuries to 108,338

GAZA, December, 30, 2024 (WAFA) – 

The Israeli occupation forces committed three massacres against families in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, resulting in the killing of at least 27 Palestinians and the injury of 149 others, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health (PMH) in Gaza.

The PMH confirmed that the Palestinian death toll from the Israeli onslaught since October 7, 2023 has risen to 45,541 reported fatalities, with an additional 108,338 individuals sustaining injuries. The majority of the victims are women and children.

According to the same source (PMH), emergency services are still unable to reach many casualties and dead bodies trapped under the rubble or scattered on roads across the war-torn enclave, as Israeli occupation forces continue to obstruct the movement of ambulance and civil defense crews.

The Israeli genocidal onslaught on the Gaza Strip continues unabated despite calls from the United Nations Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.

Israeli genocidal war on Gaza enters Day 451

In the midst of catastrophic humanitarian suffering for more than two million Palestinians — half of them children, the Israeli occupation army continued, for the 451st consecutive day, to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians in the Gaza Strip, especially in the northern areas.

Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said on Monday that the Israeli occupation army carried out attacks on several homes, civilian targets and shelter centers in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, killing and injuring dozens of citizens.

The Israeli army’s large-scale genocidal campaign in northern Gaza, especially in Jabalya and Bait Lahya, has entered day 87, where its forces continue to intensively bomb homes and shelters and attack civilians while imposing a tight siege on the entire area.

Deliberate Israeli attacks on ambulance and civil defense workers already deprived northern Gaza of any rescue services.

Local sources said that a young citizen was martyred in an Israeli attack in Jabalya refugee camp in northern Gaza.

Another citizen was killed when an Israeli drone opened fire at him in the east of Rafa'h, south of Gaza.

More casualties were reported in other areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting attacks last night and today.

In a related context, the health ministry in Gaza said on Monday that the Israeli army committed three massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, and killed and injured at least 176 civilians, while a large number of victims are still under the rubble of bombed buildings or lying on roads.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces kidnaped four patients out of 10 as they were transported by the World Health Organization from the Indonesian Hospital to the Al-Shifa Hospital. One of the detained patients was reportedly in critical condition.

Two Palestinian civilians injured by Israeli airstrikes targeting central and southern Gaza Strip

GAZA, December, 30, 2024 (WAFA) – 

Two civilians were injured this morning when the Israeli occupation forces targeted Al-Nusayat refugee camp and east of Rafa'h, in the central and southern Gaza Strip.

According to medical sources, a citizen was injured by the occupation forces' bullets northwest of Al-Nusayat refugee camp, and another after a drone (Quadcopter) dropped a bomb in the vicinity of the Karm Abu Salim crossing east of Rafa'h.

The occupation army intensified its artillery shelling at dawn today on various areas in the Gaza Strip, while it continued to blow up residential buildings in the northern governorate, where it has been carrying out ethnic cleansing measures since October 5.

In the north, the occupation army's vehicles intensively bombed various areas, most notably: "Al-Saftawi area, Jabalya Al-Nazla and Jabalya refugee camp."

The occupation forces also fired flares intensively in those areas, while the sounds of huge explosions were heard resulting from the demolition of residential buildings in the north.

On October 5, the occupation army invaded the northern Gaza Strip again, in an attempt to turn it into a buffer zone after displacing citizens from it, under the pressure of bloody shelling, and preventing the entry of food, water, and medicine.

The areas northwest of Gaza City, Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, and Al-Sabra south of the city also witnessed intermittent artillery shelling.

The occupation's drones opened fire around the Ibn Al-Haytham Pharmacy on Al-Jalaa Street northwest of Gaza City.

In the central governorate, the occupation's artillery targeted the northwest of Al-Nusayat refugee camp, coinciding with random gunfire.

Nine people killed in Israeli strike on Al-Nusayrat refugee camp

Nine Palestinians have been killed and at least 20 others have been wounded, including women and children, in Israeli shelling of Al-Nusayrat refugee camp, which is located in central Gaza, on Sunday afternoon.

Local sources affirmed that Israeli artillery shelling and heavy gunfire targeted the northwest of Al-Nusayrat refugee camp.

Dozens of martyrs and wounded were transferred to Al-'Awda and Al-Aqsa Martyrs hospitals following the attack.

The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression has risen to 45,514 martyrs and the number of wounded has surged to 108,189 since October 7, 2023.

Four Gazan prisoners die in Israeli jails

The Palestinian Commission of Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) have said that they received confirmed information about the death of four Palestinian prisoners from the Gaza Strip in Israeli jails.

The martyred prisoners are Mu'hammed Al-'Akka, 44, Sameer Al-Ka'hlout, 52, Zuhair Al-Shareef, 58, and Mu'hammed Al-Lubbad, 57.

Yesterday, the Commission and PPS announced the martyrdom of another prisoner from Gaza called Ashraf Abu Warda.

The new victims brought to 50 the number of Palestinians who died in Israeli jails and detention camps since October 7, 2023, according to Palestinian figures.

Palestinian detainee Mu'hammed Al-'Akka, from Gaza, dies in Israeli detention

RAMALLAH, December, 30, 2024 (WAFA) –

The Palestinian detainee Mu'hammed Rasheed Sa'eed Al-'Akka, 44, from Gaza, was killed in the Israeli prison of Al-Naqab (Negev).

The Palestine Prisoner's Society (PPS) and the Commission of Detainees ad Ex-Detainees Affairs announced the killing of the detainee Al-'Akka, bringing the number of Palestinians among the detainees in the occupation prisons since the beginning of the Israeli aggression to 51, and this number is the highest historically, making this stage the bloodiest stage in the history of the prisoner movement since 1967.

They stressed that what is happening to the detainees is nothing but another aspect of the bloody aggression waged against the Palestinians, and its goal is to carry out more executions and assassinations against them.  

Thousands of detainees in the Israeli occupation apartheid regime prisons have been suffering from  systematic crimes, most notably torture, starvation, assaults in all their forms, medical crimes, sexual assaults, and the deliberate imposition of conditions that lead to their infection with serious and contagious diseases.

The Commission and PPS renewed their call to the international human rights system to move forward in taking effective decisions to hold the occupation leaders accountable for the war crimes they continue to commit against our people.

They also called for imposing sanctions on the occupation that would put it in a state of clear international.

The number of detainees in the occupation prisons who were recognized by the prison administration until the beginning of December is more than ten thousand and 300, while the crime of enforced disappearance continues to be imposed on hundreds of Gaza detainees in the camps affiliated with the occupation army.

Among the detainees are 90 female detainees, no less than 345 children, and 3428 administrative detainees.

Another Palestinian baby freezes to death from the cold weather in Gaza

Medical sources reported that the twin of the child who died yesterday also died due to the cold and low temperatures. He is the sixth infant to die from the cold in a week.

The same sources announced the death of the infant 'Ali Al-Batran, who is one month old, this morning, Monday. He is the twin of the child Jum'a who died yesterday due to the cold in a tent in Dair El-Bala'h, in the middle of the Strip.

A few days ago, four newborn children between the ages of 4 and 21 days died due to the low temperatures and severe cold.

According to the sources, the lack of food security among mothers has led to the emergence of new cases of illness among children, which exacerbates the health situation in light of the difficult circumstances the region is experiencing.

For his part, the Director of Medical Relief in Gaza and North Gaza, Mu'hammed Abu 'Afasha, said that children died daily due to the severe cold and the lack of necessities of life such as food, drink and baby milk, indicating that there are no tents, blankets, clothes or food for children.

Abu 'Afasha added that the humanitarian disasters taking place now in the Strip are what had been previously warned of, renewing the warning of the danger of martyrdom and freezing of entire families inside the tents.

For the 451st consecutive day, the occupation forces continue to launch hundreds of raids, artillery shelling and commit crimes in various parts of the Gaza Strip, commit bloody massacres against civilians, amid a catastrophic humanitarian situation as a result of the siege, and the displacement of more than 90% of the population.

Thousands of slain Palestinians and wounded have not yet been recovered from under the rubble; due to the continued shelling and the dangerous field conditions, in light of the stifling siege of the Strip, and strict restrictions on the entry of fuel and urgent vital aid, to alleviate the catastrophic humanitarian conditions.

Hundreds of tents flooded in displacement camps in different areas of Gaza Strip

Last night and this morning, , hundreds of tents were flooded in displacement camps in different areas of the Gaza Strip due to heavy rains.

The displaced, especially in the areas of Dair El-Bala'h and Al-Mawasi Khan Younus in the southern Gaza Strip, spent a harsh night inside their tents that were swallowed by rainwater and blown away by winds.

The catastrophic conditions experienced by about 2 million displaced people since October 7, 2023, have forced them to live in dilapidated tents that lack the minimum requirements for a decent life and do not protect them from the cold of winter or from the harsh frost waves, after the Israeli occupation forces destroyed their homes.

Medical sources announced yesterday the death of an infant in the Gaza Strip due to the cold and low temperatures, the fifth person to die due to the cold and lack of heating in less than a week.

UNRWA Emergency Officer Louise Waterridge said in press statements that more than two million people are still trapped in horrific conditions in Gaza and are deprived of their basic needs.

UNICEF's chief communications officer in Gaza, Rosalia Paulin, warned of the difficult situation in the Gaza Strip with the onset of winter, noting that children are feeling cold and damp, while many of them are still wearing summer clothes.

Israeli occupation forces raid homes, kidnap Palestinians in the West Bank

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) kidnapped last night and on Monday morning a number of Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank.

According to local sources, the IOFs kidnapped and a young man from his workplace and another one from his home and assaulted them in Tiquoa' town, southeast of Bethlehem.

In Tulkarem, the IOF kidnaped two young men after raiding their homes in Qaffeen town.

Israeli occupation forces also carried out violent raids on homes in Jabel Mused area in Toulkarm and 'Azzoun town in Qalqilya, without making kidnappings.

Other IOFs raids on homes were reported in different areas of the West Bank.

On Monday morning, a group of the illegal Israeli settlers stormed the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.‎

‎Local sources told Wafa that 104 settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque and performed Talmudic rituals, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police, amid tightening on the entry of Muslim worshipers to Al-Aqsa, and strict military measures at the gates of the mosque and the vicinity and entrances to the Old City of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).‎

‎The raid comes on the fifth day of the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah, which saw calls by settlers to increase the raids with the holiday, which runs until the end of this week‎‎.‎

Illegal Israeli settlers attack Palestinian lands, proprieties in Masafir Yatta

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian lands in Masafir Yatta, south of Al-Khaleel (Hebron), on Monday.

Activist Osama Makhamra said that a group of Israeli colonists from the illegal colony of Avigal, which was forcibly built on citizens' lands east of Yatta, attacked lands belonging to the family of citizen Mu'hammed Abu 'Aram, near 'Ain Al-Aseera in the Umm Al-Shaq'han area in Masafir Yatta, and carried out bulldozing and planting trees in an attempt to seize them.

He pointed out that the colonists intensified their attacks on citizens' properties in Masafir under the protection of the Israeli occupation army.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime issues demolition notices against 13 Palestinian homes near Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem)

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime issued a decision today to demolish 13 homes belonging to one family in the town of 'Anata, northeast of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

Local sources reported that the occupation ordered the Al-Fuhaidat family to evacuate 13 of their homes within 12 days, noting that the homes threatened with demolition belong to brothers and cousins ​​from the Al-Fuhaidat family.

It is noteworthy that the Al-Fuhaidat family has been living in this area since the 1950s, and it is a small gathering of the Al-Fuhaidat family adjacent to the occupation camp, and the family has been living in these homes for decades before the camp existed.

Earlier today, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Al-'Eisawiya, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, and notified a number of homes and facilities of demolition.

Israel issues decision to convert any land in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) into absentee property

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime issued a decision today, Monday, to convert any land in the city of Jerusalem whose owners are unable to prove ownership into what is known as absentee property, while preventing its owners from obtaining building permits.

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) Governorate explained that the occupation began implementing this procedure in Al-Shaikh Jarra'h and Jabal Mukabbir areas, specifically in the Al-Qanbar neighborhood and the lands near the wall near Abu Dis.

 It pointed out that the occupation is working to expand the scope of these procedures to include all parts of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), with a special focus on the town of Silwan, especially in the neighborhoods of Al-Bustan, Batn Al-Hawa, and 'Ain Al-Lawza.

UNRWA warns of imminent famine in Gaza Strip

RAMALLAH, December, 30, 2024 (WAFA) – 

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) has warned of "the approaching famine" in the Gaza Strip, whose residents are suffering from food insecurity and a lack of humanitarian aid, in light of the Israeli war that has been ongoing for more than 14 months.

The UN agency stated in a series of posts on its account on X, yesterday evening, Sunday, that its teams are working to deliver aid to those in need, but stressed that it is "not enough at all."

It indicated that the residents of Gaza are facing "severe food insecurity."

It called for "international cooperation and a ceasefire in order to provide life-saving aid in light of the approaching famine."

Famine has worsened in most areas of the Gaza Strip due to the ongoing Israeli blockade, especially in the northern governorate, following the persistence of genocide and starvation to force citizens to flee south.

On October 5, the Israeli occupation army invaded the northern Gaza Strip again, while reports confirm that Israel wants to occupy the area and turn it into a buffer zone after displacing them from it under the pressure of bloody bombing and preventing the entry of food, water and medicine.

The Irish Foreign Minister, Michael Martin, called on Sunday for “stopping the slaughter of Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip.”

“We need a ceasefire in Gaza and a surge of humanitarian aid to Palestinian civilians,” Martin said in a press statement.

“We urgently need an end to the violence and slaughter of civilians and children,” he stressed.

He further expressed deep concern over “the WHO reports that an Israeli attack has put out of action the last major hospital in North Gaza.”

'Hamas leader Osama 'Hamdan said that the Israeli occupation regime is putting up obstacles in ongoing negotiations to secure a ceasefire and the exchange of Israeli captives for Palestinian prisoners.

“We went to the maximum flexibility regarding the prisoners, provided that the aggression stops, there is a comprehensive withdrawal, relief and reconstruction without conditions,” 'Hamdan said in press statements.

He explained that the Movement is continuing its contacts with mediators and international parties, including Türkiye, to mobilize an international position that obliges the Israeli occupation regime to cease fire and alleviate the suffering of the people of the Gaza Strip.

He further pointed out that the Israeli occupation attacks hospitals to eradicate the Palestinian presence in the Gaza Strip.

'Hamas sounds the alarm against Israeli minister’s remarks on Israel’s expansionist policy in Syria

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement , 'Hamas, said on Sunday the statements of the Israeli extremist communication Minister, Shlomo Karhi, on Israel’s aspiration to reach the gates of the Syrian capital, Damascus, emphasize its aggressive intentions towards the region and its peoples, calling on the Arab and Islamic nation to unite to confront the Israeli occupation regime plans.

The Movement added in a press statement that the terrorist Karhi’s storming of the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque along with dozens of extremist settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation regime police, and his statements about the Israeli aspirations to reach the gates of Damascus, is a confirmation of Israel’s colonial intentions and ambitions towards the Arab lands.

Hamas condemned these serious statements, calling on the Arab and Islamic nation, peoples, governments, powers, and parties, to unite in the face of the Israeli expansionist policy, and to confront the plans of the fascist occupation and its ongoing aggression.

It further called for “taking effective action to stop the ongoing war of extermination against our people in the Gaza Strip.”

WHO chief calls on Israel to release Abu Safiya, end attacks on hospitals

Head of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Ghebreyesus has called on Israel to immediately release Dr. 'Husam Abu Safiya, the director of the Kamal 'Udwan Hospital, expressing concern over the Israeli raid that shut down and destroyed the hospital and forced the displacement of patients and medical staff.

In remarks on his X page on Monday, Ghebreyesus said patients in critical conditions were forced to leave Kamal 'Udwan and move to the Indonesian Hospital, “which is itself out of function.”

Ghebreyesus said his organization and partners “today delivered food, water and basic medical supplies to the Indonesian Hospital and transferred 10 critical patients to Al-Shifa Hospital.”

Ghebreyesus pointed out that Israeli forces detained four patients during the transfer to Al-Shifa Hospital, urging “Israel to ensure their healthcare needs and rights are upheld.”

Now, “seven patients along with 15 caregivers and health workers remain at the severely damaged Indonesian Hospital, which has no ability to provide care,” he said.

The WHO chief also noted that two more hospitals in Gaza City, al-Ahli Hospital and Al-Wafaa Rehabilitation Hospital, came under attack on Sunday, and that “both are damaged.”

The WHO chief said hospitals in Gaza “have once again become battlegrounds and the health system is under severe threat.”

“We repeat: Stop attacks on hospitals. People in Gaza need access to healthcare. Humanitarians need access to provide health aid. Ceasefire,” he added.

Family of Dr. 'Husam Abu Safiya calls for int’l action to protect him

The family of Dr. 'Husam Abu Safiya, director of the Kamal 'Udwan Hospital, has appealed to the international community to swiftly intervene to pressure the Israeli occupation to release him after kidnapping him a few days ago from the medical facility.

“Dr. 'Husam Abu Safiya, who made great efforts to protect the health system in northern Gaza, is now facing an uncertain fate after he was kidnaped by Israeli forces,” the family said in a statement on Sunday.

“Dr. Abu Safiya did everything he could to serve patients in the midst of the harsh conditions in the area and 84 days of siege, during which he lost his son Ibrahim and suffered a serious injury,” the family added.

According to the family, the Israeli occupation forces forced Abu Safiya to take off his clothes despite the cold weather and used him as a human shield during its military operation in the area after detaining him.

The family affirmed that Abu Safiya still suffer from his previous injury and appealed to international human rights groups to take action to know his fate and provide him with protection.

Concerns are rising about the safety of the director of the Kamal 'Udwan Hospital, which was one of the last partially functioning hospitals in northern Gaza, after the Israeli army detained him.

'Husam Abu Safiya, 51, was kidnaped by Israeli forces during their violent raid on the hospital in Bait Lahya on Friday. It is not known where he has been taken.

WHO: Gaza's health system under severe threat, calls for halting attacks on hospitals

RAMALLAH, December, 30, 2024 (WAFA) – 

The Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, said on Monday that "the health system in the Gaza Strip is under severe threat."

He continued, "Stop the attacks on hospitals, people in Gaza need access to health care, and humanitarian workers need access to health assistance."

The Director-General of the organization added that "Al-Ahli and Al-Wafa Rehabilitation Hospitals in Gaza City were attacked by the Israeli army, and both were damaged."

He  affirmed that the organization, in cooperation with its partners, delivered today essential medical supplies, food and water to the Indonesian hospital, noting that 10 patients in critical condition were transferred to Al-Shifa Hospital, but the occupation forces detained four patients during their transfer, calling on the occupation authorities to ensure that their health needs and rights are respected.

He also demanded the release of the director of Kamal 'Udwan Hospital, Dr. 'Husam Abu Safiya.

It is worth noting that about 1060 cadres in the Gaza Strip have been killed since the beginning of the aggression, on October 7, 2023, while more than 310 others have been arrested, hundreds have been injured, and about 130 ambulances have been destroyed, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

The deliberate targeting of medical infrastructure has deprived civilians of access to basic health care services.

UN organizations have warned that the volume of medical supplies entering Gaza is insufficient to sustain the health response, and that all medical evacuations outside Gaza are still suspended.
