While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Israeli genocidal war on Gaza enters Day 441

Friday 20-December-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

In the midst of catastrophic humanitarian suffering for more than two million Palestinians — half of them children, the Israeli occupation army continued, for the 441st consecutive day, to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians in the Gaza Strip, especially in the northern areas.

Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said on Friday that the Israeli occupation army carried out attacks on several homes, civilian targets and shelter centers in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, killing and injuring dozens of citizens.

The Israeli army’s large-scale genocidal campaign in northern Gaza, especially in Jabalya and Bait Lahya, has entered day 77, where its forces continue to intensively bomb homes and shelters and attack civilians while imposing a tight siege on the entire area.

Deliberate Israeli attacks on ambulance and civil defense workers already deprived northern Gaza of any rescue services.

Hajj Yousuf Al-Zarad, his wife, two sons, and his son’s family were all killed in the Israeli attack on their family house the Al-Daraj neighborhood in Gaza City on Thursday.

The Israeli warships also bombed the Al-Mawasi area west of Rafa'h city.

A Palestinian and his wife were also killed when Israeli warplanes targeted the Al-Kayaleen family house in the vicinity of the Al-Maghribi area in the Al-Sabra neighborhood south of Gaza City.

The Palestinian Civil Defense stated that 4 Palestinians were killed and several more were injured in a similar attack on the Abu Shanab family house in the vicinity of the Al-Salam Mosque in the Al-Sabra area south of Gaza City.

The Israeli forces also blew up residential buildings west of Jabalya refugee camp, north of the Gaza Strip.

Three other Palestinians were killed, and several others were injured after a house belonging to the Al-Loa'h family was bombed near the Sultan Bakery on Al-Thalatheeni Street, west of Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military vehicles stationed in the Al-Khulafa area in Jabalya refugee camp opened heavy fire towards residential homes in Tel Al-Za'tar, north of the Gaza Strip.

SevenPalestinian civilians killed by an Israeli airstrike on Al-Nusayrat refugee camp, in central Gaza Strip

GAZA, December 20, 2024 (WAFA) –

Seven civilians, including two children, were killed on Friday evening in an Israeli airstrike targeting an apartment in Al-Nusayrat refugee camp, in the central Gaza Strip, local sources reported.

The Israeli occupation regime ongoing genocidal war on Gaza by land, sea, and air since October 7, 2023, has so far resulted in the killing of 45,206 civilians, the majority of whom are women and children, and the injury of 107,512 others.

These figures are likely to rise, as thousands of victims remain trapped under rubble or lie scattered in the streets, inaccessible due to the catastrophic conditions and the inability of rescue teams to reach the affected areas.

Israeli airstrike kills family of four in northern Gaza

GAZA, December 20, 2024 (WAFA) –

A man, his wife, and two daughters were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Friday morning, which targeted the Al-'Azza neighborhood in Bait 'Hanoun, northern Gaza.

WAFA correspondent reported that the Israeli aircraft launched an airstrike on the area, resulting in the murder of the man, his wife, and their two daughters. Several others were also reported to have been injured in the attack.

Local sources also reported that Israeli forces carried out demolition operations targeting residential buildings in Bait Lahya, a town in the northern Gaza Strip.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 45,206 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 107,512 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.

ýDisplaced Palestinian citizens in Gaza, without winter clothing, take turns dressing for warmthý

ýGaza 20-12-2024 Wafa-

By 'Husain Nadtheer Al-Sinwarý

ýUnlike the citizens of the Gaza Strip, who set off at the beginning of each summer or winter season to the markets that were crowded with goods and crowded with buyers to buy their winter and summer clothes, but this season came against their whims, as they receive their second winter in a row with worn clothes and light clothes due to their lack of availability and high prices in the markets due to the 15-month-old Israeli war of exterminationýý.ý

ýMarkets, and even more correct places that used to be markets, have become empty, with no goods, vendors or even buyers because of the lack of goods and clothing because of the intransigence of the Israeli occupation and its deprivation of the citizens in the Gaza Strip of the minimum requirements of their human lives.ý

ýSameer Al-'Abadla, a citizen, told Wafa: "In Gaza, we used to go to the markets at the beginning of each season, whether winter, summer, or school season, holidays and events to buy clothing for us and our families, but because of the fierce war against our people, we were deprived for two consecutive winter seasons from buying what we needed, and we were wearing worn clothes in the hope of getting some of the warmth that we have been missing since last year."ý

ýAl-'Abadla pointed out that living in the open and tents without buildings and walls increases the severity of the cold, and no matter how much a person wears clothes, the cold continues to creep into his body and he never feels warm, adding: "Let alone that most citizens do not find enough clothes that protect them from the very cold weather they live."ý

ý'Hamdi Abu Rizq told Wafa: "When we left Rafa'h governorate inýý ýýMay, we were at the gates of the summer season, so we did not take our heavy winter clothes with us, thinking that we would return before the winter season, and this did not happen, and here we fell into the trap of the cold weather that does not have mercy on us, and we have nothing to wear and we still wear our light clothes despite the cold weather."ý

ý"We and our children feel that our bones are breaking from the cold at night in the tents, and we wait for dawn for the sun to rise and give us some of its warmth on the embers," he adds, appealing to those with compassionate hearts and institutions concerned with the family and children to extend a helping hand to the displaced in tents because the cold and diseases are slowly eating away at their bodies and no one hears the moans of their grieving hearts except themselvesýý.ý

ýAs for Mahir Al-'Hasani, he tells "Wafa": I lost all my clothes, supplies, household tools, money and phones after the occupation planes bombed next to the tent in which I was displaced in Mawasi Khan Younus, and the tent became including a trace after an eye, after which I became pained myself and injured by losing everything I owned, so I went to the bale stalls and tried as much as possible to clothe myself, my wife and my children from that bale, which has a share of its name, and the clothes in it have been damaged and time is underway and does not protect from the cold."ý

ýHe points out that he and his wife take turns wearing the same clothes most often because they do not have enough clothes for them, and that he dresses his children in the same way alternately, sometimes you find the boy wearing his sister's clothes and vice versa, all because of the lack of clothes available to them and the high prices in the markets insanely, the original price has doubled from five to six times at leastýý.ý

ýClothing trader 'Hasan 'Awadh told Wafa that the lack of supply and the large increase in demand for clothes, especially after the accumulation of huge numbers of displaced people in part of Khan Younus and Central governorates, led to the lack of clothes in the markets, and therefore prices increased, and most citizens became unable to buy them, because they prefer to provide food and water over expensive clothes, and are unable to provide them in light of the harsh conditions they are going throughýý.ý

ýAs for clothing trader Mu'hammed Shurrab, he told Wafa that the high prices of clothes in the markets are due to several reasons, including preventing the occupation from importing them from abroad through its policy of fighting Gaza by all means, as well as cutting off electricity and preventing the entry of raw materials such as fabrics, threads and costs for sewing them in the factories of the Gaza Strip, which reflects negatively on the citizen who sees a sharp rise in the prices of clothes and other harsh life requirements imposed on him due to the war and the siegeýý.ý

ý"When factories are operating in the sector, it is also not easy and very expensive in terms of providing raw materials and alternative electrical energy that are charged in winter due to clouds, rain and the inability of batteries to charge from solar energy," he adds.ý

ýHe continues: "It is natural that this will reflect on the citizen, who was forced by circumstances to endure difficulties beyond his capacity and add great burdens on his shoulders, in light of the brutal Israeli war that has been going on for more than a year and two months in a row."ý

ýIt is noteworthy that if the occupation allows, as it did in rare times in the past, the entry of clothes into the Gaza Strip, this will be costly because the prices of transportation and insurance of goods are very high, and this is reflected on the consumer, adding that the prices of clothes have risen by a large percentage up to five or six times from the normal price before the war, which deprives the displaced and citizens of clothing and protects themselves from the great cold they feel and kills their bodies dayýý and nightýý.ý

ýHe wished the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), ANERA and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) to put pressure on the Israeli occupation and force it to bring in winter clothes and the means the displaced people need to warm themselves from the bitter cold, in light of the continuous power cuts since the beginning of the war until the momentýý.ý

ýInternational and UN reports indicate that Israel has been preventing the entry of blankets, clothes and shoes into the Gaza Strip for more than a year, including the needs of children, in light of the entry of a severe cold season and catastrophic humanitarian conditionsýý.ý

ýShe pointed to the entry of the second winter season since the start of the Israeli war on Gaza, in light of a severe shortage of clothes and shoes that have been prevented from entering the Gaza Strip crossings since the first day of the war, except for some quantities that entered as part of humanitarian aid, which were distributed to a small part of the displaced people, who numbered about two million peopleýý.ý

ýThese reports assert that "there is no military justification or necessity in international law that would prevent the introduction of these essentials into the civilian population", noting that the Israeli occupation imposes restrictions on their entry as part of its efforts to impose harsh living conditions on Palestinians that lead to their actual destruction, as part of the crime of mass genocide committed thereýý.ý

ýThe data show that the total number of trucks that entered the Gaza Strip in the past period did not exceed 6% of the daily needs of citizens, most of which are related to foodstuffs, and did not exceed 0.001% for clothes and shoes, which caused a real crisis, especially since Israel destroyed at least 70% of the homes of the Gaza Strip and most shops and markets, including those selling clothes, in addition to restricting the coordination of the entry of goods to merchantsýý.ý

ýAccording to reports, hundreds of thousands of citizens in the Gaza Strip, including children, women and the elderly, are left without adequate clothing to protect them from the bitter cold with the onset of winter, with the vast majority of the displaced remaining in tents that do not protect them from the cold and rain, and these catastrophic conditions threaten to increase the exposure of citizens to serious diseases, such as respiratory infections and other cold-related diseases, in the absence of the necessary medical careýý.ý

ýThe situation is exacerbated by the acute shortage of essential medicines needed to treat cold-induced diseases, which is directly attributable to the arbitrary siege imposed by the occupation, moreover, the scarcity and lack of food variety, with the population relying heavily on canned food, weakened their immune systems, making them more vulnerable to diseases andýý ýýviruses.ý

ýIt is noteworthy that the Israeli occupation forces are waging a full-fledged war against the Gaza Strip that has affected all aspects of life, including food, water and clothing, and forcibly forced citizens to flee their homes and destroyed them, as the majority of them now live in tents that do not protect them from the cold of winter or the heat of summer and compound their suffering.ý

Illegal Israeli settlers establish new settlement outpost near Aree'ha (Jericho)

Friday 20-December-2024

Aree'ha (Jericho), (PIC)

A hoard of the Israeli settlers established on Friday a new settlement outpost near 'Arab Al-Mulai'hat Bedouin community along the Al-Ma’arajat Road, northwest of Jericho in the West Bank.

The general supervisor of the Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, 'Hasan Al-Mulai'hat, said a group of settlers set up, early this morning, a tent on the community’s land and performed provocative dances in the area.

Al-Mulai'hat told WAFA news agency that five settlement outposts are already established in the vicinity of the Al-Ma’arajat Road, with four of them set up after October 7, 2023, within efforts to expand Israeli settlement in the border areas between the Ramallah and Jericho governorates.

Illegal Israeli Jewish settlers set fire to mosque in Salfeet

Friday 20-December-2024

Salfeet, (PIC)

According to eyewitnesses, the settlers stormed the eastern part of the village, set fire to the Bir Al-Walidain Mosque, and sprayed racist slogans on its walls.

Local residents were able to extinguish the fire, limiting the damage to the mosque’s entrance only.

The Director of Awqaf in Salfeet, 'Othman Al-Deek, condemned the attack as a criminal act against worship places, warning of similar attacks against Islamic sanctities by the illegal Israeli Jewish settlers.

ýGovernor Kamil: The illegal Israeli settlers' burning of the Bir Al-Waldain (Honoring Parents) Mosque, in Marda, is a serious crimeý

ýSalfit 20-12-2024 Wafa -

The Governor of Salfeet, Major General 'Abdullah Kameel, held the extreme right-wing Israeli government fully responsible for the heinous crime of the illegal Israeli settlers, by storming the village of Marda, north of Salfeet, at dawn on Friday, burning the Bir Al-Walidain (Honoring Parents) Mosque in the village, and writing revenge and racist slogans against Arabs and Muslims, and others threatening the villagers with death and revengeýý.ý

ýIn a statement issued by the governorate, Kameel considered that this comes in the context of an aggressive and terrorist escalation organized by the colonialist gangs, and that the continuation of these crimes is nothing but a translation of racist fatwas and continuous incitement by their extremist rabbis and ministers, and is carried out under the auspices and protection of the occupation forces, and in a way that shows colonial lawlessness at the expense of the rights and security of our peopleýý.ý

ýGovernor Kameel said that the colonialist gangs' infiltration at dawn into the mosque of the village of Marda and setting it on fire, and writing revenge and racist slogans hostile to Arabs and Muslims, demonstrates the extent of their hatred, racism and hatred of Arabs, describing this attack as a major crimeýý.ý

ýKamil stressed that the continuation and escalation of the colonists' terrorist attacks against the towns and villages of Salfeet governorate and the Palestinian citizens safe in their homes requires urgent and immediate intervention from the international community, and activating the work of the protection and guarding committees for our people with the participation of all official, national and popular institutions and actors, with the aim of providing protection for our people, ensuring a comprehensive and complete cessation of colonialist terrorism and stopping colonial expansionýý.ý

ýThe Governor of Salfeet pointed out that the village of Marda is constantly subjected to attacks by the occupation forces and settlers, through incursions, intimidation of citizens, closure of iron gates scattered at its entrances, arrests and others, and this is repeated in most areas of the governorate, pointing out that this serious crime comes as a continuation of the series of burning and criminality that the colonists began to burn our mosques, holy sites, homes and properties of people in the Palestinian territoriesýý.ý

'Hamas: Haaretz report on Israeli occupation soldiers’ behavior in Gaza is evidence of unprecedented war crimes

Friday 20-December-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement said in a statement on Thursday night, “the Haaretz Hebrew newspaper’s report on Zionist soldiers’ testimonies about the behavior of their fascist army in Gaza is new evidence of committing unprecedented war and ethnic cleansing crimes.”

Haaretz quoted a reserve officer in the Israeli occupation army as saying, “the army teams compete on killing the largest number of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.”

The officer who served along the Netzarim axis in the Gaza Strip said, “the army in Gaza behaves as an armed militia, where soldiers and officers practice arbitrary killing of civilians in contrary to all laws.”

“We have orders to send pictures of the bodies, and we have sent pictures of 200 dead. It turned out that only 10 of them were members of Hamas,” he said.

There is a line north of the Netzarim axis in the Gaza Strip called the ‘line of dead bodies’, he added.

“After shootings, bodies are not collected, attracting packs of dogs who come to eat them,” he elaborated.

Medical sources have reported that “hundreds of martyrs’ bodies, including women and children, are still in the streets of Jabalya, Bait Lahya and Bait 'Hanoun, in the northern Gaza Strip.”

“Dozens of injured were left bleeding for many days to death, without anyone being able to help them in light of the Israeli blockade,” the sources added.

UN seeks ICJ’s opinion on Israel’s obligations to facilitate entry of aid to Gaza

Friday 20-December-2024

NEW YORK, (PIC)

The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) adopted on Thursday a resolution requesting a consultative opinion from the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on Israel’s humanitarian obligations towards the Palestinians.

The resolution, which highlights the miserable humanitarian situation in Palestine, called on Israel to comply with its legal duties under international law, as defined by the ICJ previously.

The resolution, which was submitted by Norway along with at least 22 States, was supported by 137 countries, while 12 others voted no, and 22 abstained.

Before the vote, Andreas Kravik, Norwegian Deputy Foreign Minister, said, “We recognize that States may take different positions as to what has caused this dystopian nightmare. What we cannot afford to disagree on, however, is the humanitarian imperative to provide aid and assistance to those in desperate need.”

“Under no circumstances can we tolerate that any State imposes obstructions and impediments to organizations and States which provide humanitarian and development assistance to civilians,” he added.

The resolution called on Israel to stop measures that hinder the provision of basic services and humanitarian aid to the Palestinians, especially in the Gaza Strip, and to respect the rights of international organizations working in the region.

Civil Defense warns the displaced on the coast of imminent air depression

Thursday 19-December-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Civil Defense Department in the Gaza Strip called on all citizens to take safety measures to protect themselves from a coming deep air depression expected on Friday.

The Meteorological Department expects heavy rain showers to fall on various areas of the Palestinian territories, starting on Friday evening, December 20, accompanied by thunderstorms and fast and sometimes strong winds.

In a statement on Thursday, the Civil Defense urged the displaced in the camps and those residing in coastal areas and on the beach to secure their tents very well and take the necessary safety measures, to protect themselves and tents against being swept away or flooded with water.

It also called on the displaced to cooperate, support and help each other to protect their families and tents from the damage caused by strong winds, rains, and floods.

Winter rains have exacerbated the misery of the residents of Gaza, whose number is estimated at approximately 2.3 million people, with 90% of whom have been displaced repeatedly.

In previous air depressions, rainwater flooded hundreds of displacement tents across the Strip, spoiled food and washed away the plastic and cloth mattresses that protected the displaced from bad weather.

Al-Hams told Qatar News Agency (QNA) on Thursday that the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) aim to destroy what has remained of the health infrastructure in Gaza, after destroying 75% of it, referring to the ongoing aggression on Kamal 'Udwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, and the murder and arrest of doctors along with their families.

Al-Hams pointed to the increasing number of patients suffering from dehydration and malnutrition to the extent that some of them died of hunger.

He stated that the deteriorating situation has reached a level of severe shortage in medical laboratory supplies, noting that the IOFs are preventing the entry of devices used to conduct medical examinations after most of them have been destroyed.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
