While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of David, Solomon, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "
abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

UN Security Council rejects competing US and Russian draft resolutions on Gaza

RAMALLAH, Thursday, October 26, 2023 (WAFA) -

China and Russia on Wednesday vetoed a draft resolution sponsored by the United States on Gaza, while a second Russian-backed resolution failed to be adopted having failed to get sufficient votes in favor.

The US-led draft resolution failed to pass owing to a negative vote by permanent Security Council members China and Russia.

Ten members of the Council voted for the draft resolution and three against (China, Russia, and UAE), with two abstentions (Brazil and Mozambique).

A second draft resolution, led by Russia, was not adopted as it failed to secure a sufficient number of votes in favor.

Four Council members voted in favor (China, Gabon, Russia and UAE), two against (UK and US), and nine abstained (Albania, Brazil, Ecuador, France, Ghana, Japan, Malta, Mozambique, Switzerland).

For a resolution to be adopted, it must be supported by at least nine members of the Council.

The similarly worded resolutions would have called for a “humanitarian ceasefire” or “humanitarian pause” to enable safe delivery of aid for desperate civilians.

Key differences in the text included a specific mention in the US-backed proposal of States’ inherent right to self-defense and a call in the Russian-led one for the immediate cancellation by Israeli forces of the evacuation order for civilians to head into southern Gaza.

Last Monday, a previous Russian-led draft resolution calling for an “immediate humanitarian ceasefire” was voted down and the following Wednesday, the United States vetoed a Brazilian-led text that urged “humanitarian pauses” to deliver aid to millions in the Gaza Strip.

Killing and Injuring of Palestinians in Ghazza (Gaza) by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces

3,000 children killed as Gaza death toll tops 7,000

October 26, 2023

GAZA, (PIC) +-

At least 7,028 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, including nearly 3,000 children, the Palestinian health ministry declared on Thursday. Spokesman for the health ministry, Dr. Ashraf Al-Qudra, affirmed that 7,028 people were killed, including 2,913 children, 1,709 women, and 397 elderly people, while 18,484 more were injured.

The Israeli occupation committed 43 massacres in the past hours, claiming the lives of 481 martyrs, the majority of whom were displaced families to the southern Gaza Strip, he said. He pointed out that 731 massacres were carried out against Palestinian families, claiming the lives of 5,224 martyrs since October 7, many of whom are still under the rubble.

"1,650 are still missing under the rubble, including 940 children." He confirmed that the Israeli warplanes deliberately targeted 57 health institutions and put 12 hospitals and 32 primary care centers out of service.  101 health personnel were killed in the Israeli air raids, while 25 ambulances were damaged. Hospitals turned into large shelter centers, housing tens of thousands of displaced people, he added.

Family of Al Jazeera TV's Gaza bureau chief killed in Israeli air raid

October 26, 2023, GAZA, (PIC) +-

The wife, son and daughter of Wa-il Al-Da'hdou'h, Al Jazeera tv Arabic’s bureau head in Gaza, have been killed in an Israeli air raid. Footage shown on Al Jazeera tv shows Al-Da'hdou'h entering a hospital in Gaza to see his killed family members in the morgue.

Looking shocked, Al-Da'hdou'h spoke to Al Jazeera tv: “What happened is clear, this is a series of targeted attacks on children, women and civilians. I was just reporting from Al-Yarmouk about such an attack, and the Israeli raids have targeted many areas, including Al-Nusayrat (where his family resided). “We had our doubts that the Israeli occupation (regime) would not let these people go without punishing them. And sadly that is what happened. This is the ‘safe’ area that the occupation army spoke of,” he said. "You wanted to be a journalist," Al-Da'hdou'h said while kneeling on the floor next to the dead body of his son.  "They take revenge on us with our children?" he said, referring to the Israeli army. "It's okay. To God we belong and to Him we return."

He later said his tears were not out of "fear or cowardice" but rather of humanity.  "This is the occupation’s policy, and this is our destiny and our choice, and we will not deviate," Al-Da'hdou'h added. Some members of Al-Da'hdou'h’s family, including a toddler granddaughter, survived the attack on the house they were staying in at the Nusayrat refugee camp south of Wadi Gaza. Details are still coming in, and operations are ongoing to rescue some people from the wreckage of the home.

Israeli aerial bombardment kills at least 11 civilians in Rafa'h

RAFAH, Thursday, October 26, 2023 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation regime warplanes launched an airstrike this evening on a residential building in the city of Rafa'h, south of the Gaza Strip, resulting in the murder of at least 11 Palestinian civilians and leaving several others wounded.

The bloody Israeli genocidal aggression on Gaza continues to exact a heavy human toll, with nearly 7,000 Palestinians, the majority of them being civilians, killed by Israeli airstrikes since October 7.

Gaza death toll surges to 6,955, over 19,000 injured

GAZA, Thursday, October 26, 2023 (WAFA) –

In the wake of the devastating Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank, the death toll has surged to at least 6,955, with over 19,000 individuals injured, the Ministry of Health said in an update this evening.

The Ministry said in a statement that the number of deaths in the Gaza Strip has reached 6,850, while the death toll in the West Bank also surged to 105. In addition, the ministry said, 17,000 Palestinians have been injured in Gaza, and 1,900 others in the West Bank.

According to the statement, a staggering 70% of the casualties in Gaza are children, women, and the elderly, highlighting the devastating impact of the ongoing Israeli genocidal aggression on the civilian population.

The Ministry also sounded the alarm regarding the critical fuel shortage, which has severely affected the delivery of humanitarian aid. The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), the largest provider of humanitarian assistance in Gaza, has nearly exhausted its fuel reserves and has been forced to significantly reduce its operations.

Only eight trucks carrying water, food, and medical supplies were able to enter through the Rafa'h crossing on the 24th of this month, said the Ministry. The World Health Organization is now working in coordination with the Palestinian Red Crescent Society to facilitate the delivery of these supplies to hospitals.

The dire situation in Gaza's healthcare system is equally concerning. According to the Ministry of Health, 34% of Gaza's hospitals are out of service, and 65% of primary healthcare centers are closed.

The Ministry also reported that 149 Palestinian families have lost ten or more of their members in the recent Israeli offensive, while 123 families have lost between 6 to 9 members, and 416 families have lost between 2 to 5 members.

In addition to the devastating loss of life, healthcare workers have been targeted. More than 260 attacks on healthcare personnel have been documented, resulting in 73 healthcare workers losing their lives, over 100 others being injured, and 50 ambulances being completely rendered out of service.

Furthermore, 69 healthcare facilities have been attacked, with 12 of them now out of service. These facilities include the International Eye Hospital, Dar Al-Salam Hospital, Al-Yemen Al-Sa'eed Hospital, Psychiatric Hospital, Bait Hanoun Hospital, Durra Children's Hospital, 'Hamad Rehabilitation Hospital, Al-Karama Hospital, and Al-Wafa Medical and Specialized Surgery Hospital.

Meantime, it is expected that the Turkish Friendship Hospital will cease operations within 24-48 hours due to a severe fuel shortage. Additionally, the Red Crescent's Al-Quds Hospital and the Arab Baptist Hospital are currently operating at reduced capacity and are at risk of closing due to Israeli shelling and fuel shortages.

The Ministry of Health emphasized that 24 hospitals in northern Gaza have been requested to evacuate (with a total capacity of 2,000 beds), adding that there is a severe shortage of medicines, equipment, and essential healthcare personnel to treat the large number of wounded. The severe electricity crisis has even forced some surgeries to be performed without anesthesia, relying solely on mobile phone lights.

The healthcare facilities in Gaza are operating at more than 150% of their capacity, with patients being treated in hallways and on the floor due to the lack of proper space. For instance, Shifa Medical Complex is currently treating 5,000 patients daily, while its capacity is only 700 patients.

The situation is even more critical for cancer patients who depend on chemotherapy to stay alive. The Turkish Hospital, which relies on a single electric generator, is expected to shut down within 48-24 hours.

More than 1,000 kidney dialysis patients have also had their session duration reduced from 4 hours to 2.5 hours, and over 130 premature infants in incubators face the risk of death due to the scarcity of resources and the lack of electricity.

The Israeli genocidal air strikes completely and partially destroyed 200,000 housing units in the Gaza Strip

GAZA, Thursday, October 26, 2023 (WAFA) -

Through their genocidal air strikes, the Israeli occupation forces have destroyed about 200,000 housing units, either completely or partially, since the start of the aggression against the Gaza Strip on October 7, which makes more than 25% of the populated areas, today said Minister of Public Works and Housing, Mu'hammed Ziyara.

“The criminality of the occupier in the current aggression is unprecedented,” he said in a statement. “The occupation’s bombing erased entire families from the civil registry, erased neighborhoods, and residential communities with their inhabitants, and also destroyed facilities, including hospitals, places of worship, bakeries, water filling stations, markets, schools, and educational and service institutions.”

The minister said that all aspects of life have been destroyed, including health, housing, water, sanitation, infrastructure, economy, agriculture, education, services, humanitarian institutions, and cutting off water, electricity, and fuel, and that the basic necessities of life have become unavailable and people’s lives are threatened either by bombing or the absence of health care or scarcity of water and food.

He said efforts are underway with the Egyptian and Palestinian Red Crescent to secure the minimum necessities of life, explaining that the working conditions of the organizations are very difficult as a committee headed by the Ministry of Public Works, in coordination with the United Nations, is delivering the aid that enters through the Rafa'h crossing, which does not meet the minimum requirements, warning that continuation of the situation in this way in Gaza threatens the lives of thousands of civilians.

Foreign Minister Malki presents evidence of recent Israeli war crimes to ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan

THE HAGUE, Thursday, October 26, 2023 (WAFA0 -

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Riyadh Al-Maliki today met in The Hague with the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), Kareem Khan, members of his office, his deputy, and those responsible for the situation in Palestine during which Maliki presented Khan evidence of the recent Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, which falls within the jurisdiction of the ICC and the open investigation into the situation in Palestine.

Maliki, according to a statement, informed Khan “of the extent of the destruction and killing of children, women and civilians caused by Israel, the illegal occupation authority, without any accountability,” stressing “his role at this particular time to bring Israeli war criminals to international justice because of their systematic and wide-ranging policies,” and asked him “to look at the ongoing crimes of the occupation in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, and that many crimes are committed by colonial terrorists and the occupation army, including colonialism and premeditated murder, arbitrary arrest and destruction of property.”

He stressed the role of the Court and the Prosecutor in addressing accountability, redressing the victims of the Palestinian people, and achieving justice and protection. He also stressed the need for the criminal investigation to be completed urgently and for the Israeli war criminals to be brought to justice, arguing that the reason for the crimes committed by Israel and its officials today is the absence of accountability.

In turn, the ICC Prosecutor confirmed that the situation in Palestine, including the events in the Gaza Strip, is under his office’s criminal investigation and that their independent role and the transparency of the investigation are the basis for achieving justice.

Illegal Israeli Settlers Aggression

Settlers attack olive harvesters south of Nablus

NABLUS, Thursday, October 26, 2023 (WAFA) –

Illegal Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian farmers today in the town of Qusra, located in the southern region of Nablus province in the occupied West Bank, as they were in the midst of harvesting olives, according to local sources.

Fouad Hassan, a local activist, reported that the illegal Israeli armed settlers targeted the farmers in the southeast area of Qusra while they were picking olives in their own lands. However, the local residents were able to fend off the attackers.

Israeli assaults on Palestinian farmers during the olive harvest season are a recurring issue and add to the challenges they face, particularly in areas close to Israeli settlements. Such incidents endanger the safety and livelihoods of Palestinian families who rely on the season for their income.
