Killing and Injuring of Palestinians in Ghazza (Gaza) by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces

The Ministry of Health announced that the death toll of the Israeli occupation forces' continuous aggression on the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, since October 7, has risen to more than 6,504 martyrs (6,400 in the Gaza Strip, 104 in the West Bank) and about 19,000 wounded (17,000 in the Gaza Strip, 1,900 in the West Bank‎‎).‎

‎The ministry said in its daily report issued on Wednesday evening, that the percentage of martyrs of children, women and the elderly reached about 70%, and the number of martyrs of children from the total toll in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank reached 2,500 children.‎

‎The Ministry of Health has detected smallpox, scabies, and diarrhea as a result of poor health and the use of water from unsafe sources‎‎.‎

‎With regard to attacks on health staff, the ministry recorded more than 260 attacks, where 73 martyrs of health personnel were raised (to heavens: killed)), more than 100 were injured, and 50 ambulances were damaged, including 25 that were completely disrupted. ‎

‎It also recorded 69 attacks on health facilities, 12 of which became out of service, namely the International Eye Hospital, Dar Al-Salam Hospital, Al-Yemen Al-Sa'eed Hospital, Psychiatric Hospital, Bait 'Hanoun Hospital, Al-Durra Children's Hospital, 'Hamad Rehabilitation Hospital, Al-Karama Hospital, Al-Wafa Hospital for Medical Rehabilitation and Specialized Surgery, and it is expected that the Turkish Friendship Hospital will stop working within 24-48 hours due to the sharp decrease in fuel, as well as Al-Quds Hospital of the Red Crescent and the National Arab Baptist Hospital, which is now partially operational. It is likely to stop working as a result of shelling and sharp fuel drops.‎

‎She pointed out that the occupation demanded the evacuation of 24 hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip (the total capacity of these hospitals is 2,000 beds).‎

‎She pointed to the acute shortage of medicines, equipment and cadres necessary to treat the large numbers of wounded, in addition to the sharp decrease in fuel needed to operate electricity, where surgeries are performed without anesthesia and by the light of phones. ‎

‎She pointed out that hospitals are operating at more than 150% of their capacity, and patients are treated in corridors, on floors and other inappropriate places, for example, Al-Shifa Medical Complex currently treats 5,000 patients per day, while its capacity is 700 patients.‎

‎She added that about 9,000 cancer patients rely on chemotherapy to survive, and the service is provided by the Turkish hospital, which relies on a single generator, which is expected to stop working within 48-24 hours, adding that more than 1,000 dialysis patients, the time period for the session has been reduced from 4 hours to 2.5 hours for the patient, and more than 130 premature babies dependent on incubators face the risk of death due to lack of resources and lack of electricity.‎

‎Some 50,000 pregnant women face challenges in accessing health care from attacks on health facilities and workers, while some 166 unsafe births are recorded daily, and 5,500 are expected to give birth next month in Gaza.‎

‎The Ministry of Health estimated the number of displaced people in the Gaza Strip at about one million and four hundred thousand citizens, with 685,000 displaced by other families, 565,000 displaced in 148 schools affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, 101,000 in mosques, churches and public places, and 70,000 in 67 government schools‎‎.‎

‎The report indicated that 45% of the housing units in the Gaza Strip were destroyed as a result of the heavy bombardment launched by the occupation army by air, land and sea since the start of the aggression on the seventh of this month‎‎.‎

‎The number of housing units was completely destroyed, 27,781 units, 150,000 units partially destroyed, 9 hospitals decommissioned after their destruction, and 178 educational institutions, including 140 government schools and 20 UNRWA schools‎‎.‎

‎The Ministry of Health stressed that the shelters are overloaded by 250%, which poses a risk of disease outbreaks.‎

‎The ministry said many victims were still missing under the rubble.‎

‎On Tuesday, Health Minister Mai Al-Kayla announced the complete collapse of the health sector in the southern governorates, which means that all hospitals are no longer able to provide any medical services to the sick and wounded.‎

19 days of aggression, and the massacres continue

The Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip continued for its nineteenth day Wednesday, with the ongoing implementation of brutal massacres, airstrikes, and the shedding of civilian blood, resulting in more martyrs, while the humanitarian consequences of the war of starvation, thirst, medicine deprivation, and fuel blockade continue to escalate.

The PIC correspondent reported that Israeli warplanes continued to carry out dozens of airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, targeting the homes of citizens, facilities, and gatherings in an unprecedented violation against civilians, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of many.

Medical and local sources reported the martyrdom of six citizens due to an Israeli shelling that targeted a poultry farm east of Khan Younus.

Five citizens were martyred due to an Israeli shelling on a house in the Nusayrat camp.

A local source reported the retrieval of five martyrs after the occupation shelled the “Al-Farra” family's house in Khan Younus. The body of the citizen 'Isam Tawfiq Al-Farra and his three daughters Adyan, Toqa, and Rosol was identified, and there are still missing individuals under the rubble.

Two journalists from Al-Aqsa TV channel were martyred this morning due to Zionist shelling in the northern Gaza Strip, raising the number of journalist martyrs to 22 since the beginning of the aggression.

Media sources confirmed the martyrdom of the journalist Sa’eed Al-'Halabi after the occupation shelled his house in Jabalya refugee camp.

The Israeli warplanes shelled a house belonging to the "Abu Saud" family in the Nujoom neighborhood in Rafa'h, south of the Strip, resulting in several martyrs and injuries.

The PIC correspondent reported the martyrdom of a woman and a child due to the Israeli bombardment of the home of the Amir’s family on Abu Al-Reesh Street in the Al-Masakir area, west of Khan Younus.

As announced by medical sources, citizen Samir Ziyad Kamal Al-Qudra was martyred in the targeting of his house yesterday in Khan Younus.

Israeli occupation warplanes destroyed a mosque on Al-Jala’ Street in Gaza City.

The PIC correspondent reported that the Israeli warplanes bombed a goods warehouse full of cleaning products on Al-Nuzha Street in the center of Jabalya. 

The Ministry of Interior reported the martyrdom of 16 citizens so far and a number of injuries in the Israeli occupation's overnight targeting of citizens' homes in the Al-Huja area in Jabalya, Tal Al-Hawa south of Gaza City, the Nusayrat camp, and Kizan Al-Najjar in Khan Younus.

Injuries were recorded in the bombing by Israeli warplanes on Al-Halees building near Al-Quds Hospital in the south of Gaza City.

Israeli warplanes targeted a house belonging to the Ghabn family in Al-Shati’ refugee camp in western Gaza, and a house on Al-'Ajarrma Street in Jabalya camp, while more than 15 violent airstrikes were carried out in various areas in Rafah City in the Gaza Strip.

The PIC correspondent reported that 7 civilians were killed and others were injured as a result of the Israeli occupation's shelling of a bakery in Al-Maghazi camp in the middle of the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli warplanes also carried out more than 15 airstrikes in the Ma'an, Wadi Al-Qareen, Al-Fakhari, Abasan, and Khoza'a areas in Khan Younus, with the continued intense artillery bombardment east of the Gaza Strip.

The continuation of the airstrikes and massacres by the occupation comes after a bloody day in which dozens of massacres were committed and the number of martyrs exceeded 800.

On Tuesday evening, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the occupation committed 47 massacres against Palestinian families in the past few hours, resulting in the martyrdom of 704 victims.

The PIC correspondent confirmed that Israel carried out dozens of airstrikes following this announcement, resulting in the deaths of nearly 100 martyrs. The most intense airstrikes were in Khan Younus, where 50 martyrs were killed in one hour.

 There has been a lot of talk in the past day about the Israeli use of internationally prohibited weapons and projectiles. 

Salama Ma'rouf, head of the government media office, confirmed that there is clear evidence of the occupation’s use of unconventional and internationally banned weapons and ammunition, including white phosphorus, which is evident in the burns on the bodies of martyrs and the wounded, melting their skin and even their upper and lower limbs.

Ma'rouf said that Israel bombed the Gaza Strip with more than 12,000 tons of explosives, equivalent to the power of the nuclear bomb dropped on Hiroshima, with an average of 33 tons of explosives being dropped per square kilometer in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the aggression.

Results of the aggression 

Marouf confirmed in a press conference presenting the results of the aggression on its eighteenth day that the number of martyrs has risen since the start of the Israeli Nazi occupation's holocaust on October 7th to 5,791 martyrs, including 2,360 children, 1,292 women and girls, and 295 elderly people. In addition, there are 1,550 missing martyrs under the rubble, while 16,297 civilians have been injured.

The occupation committed 644 massacres against Palestinian families, resulting in the martyrdom of 4,292 victims, most of whom are women and children. This confirms that the occupation is carrying out a holocaust against the Palestinian people with the aim of killing and increasing the cost of victims.

He mentioned that in the Gaza Strip, one person out of every 100 citizens is either martyred or injured due to the continuous Israeli Nazi holocaust in the Strip.

He also pointed out that the total number of displaced persons reached about 1.4 million citizens, accounting for 70% of the population of the Strip, distributed in more than 222 shelter centers, including 100 centers in Gaza and the northern part of the Strip.

He indicated that more than 183,000 housing units were damaged as a result of the ongoing aggression, accounting for 50% of the housing units in the Strip, and more than 28,000 housing units were completely demolished or rendered uninhabitable by the Israeli aggression. The aerial strikes also destroyed 75 government buildings and dozens of public and service facilities, causing significant damage to them.

177 schools were damaged, including 32 schools that are out of service, while the Israeli air raids continued to target water, electricity, and sewage networks, taking a number of them out of service. Israel also continued to target churches and mosques, with 35 mosques and 3 churches being severely damaged.

13 Palestinian civilians killed, other injured, in an Israeli airstrike on Gaza homes

GAZA, Wednesday, October 25, 2023 (WAFA) –

At least 13 Palestinian civilians were killed, and others were injured, in an Israeli bombing that targeted two houses in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, and in Khan Younus, south of the Strip.

WAFA correspondent reported that eight citizens, including women and children, were killed in the bombing of a four-story house belonging to the Ramlawi family, while others were injured, noting that a number of casualties are still under the rubble.

In Khan Younus, south of the Gaza Strip, five citizens were killed and others were injured as a result of the Israeli occupation aircraft bombing the house of Jamal Al-Farra, secretary of the Fatah movement.

WAFA correspondent reported that the occupation planes bombed Al-Farra’s house, killing his brother 'Isam, his three daughters, and another person who is still unidentified.

The correspondent explained that a number of the wounded were recovered from under the rubble and their health condition was moderate, including Jamal Al-Farra, whose house was bombed.

Gaza: Dozens killed and injured in Israeli airstrikes on day 19 of aggression

GAZA, Wednesday, October 25, 2023 (WAFA) – 

Dozens of Palestinian civilians were killed, and others were injured, the majority of whom were children and women, in violent Israeli raids that targeted residential neighborhoods in the Gaza Strip.

WAFA correspondent confirmed the killing of 16 citizens in the bombing of a number of homes in the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, and in the Jabalya and Nusayrat camp, and Qizan Al-Najjar area in Khan Younus.

He added that a female citizen was killed, and others were injured in a raid launched by occupation warplanes, targeting a house belonging to 'Amir family, in Khan Younus refugee camp, south of the Gaza Strip.

The correspondent said that the occupation warplanes bombed a house for Abu Saud family in Al-Najma neighborhood in the city of Rafa'h, south of the Gaza Strip, killing ans injuring a number of civilians who were transferred to Abu Youssef Al-Najjar Hospital in the city.

He pointed out that a number of civilians were killed and wounded as a result of the occupation aircraft bombing a house in Al-Daraj neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

9 citizens were also killed, and 15 others were injured, including women and children, as a result of the occupation bombing of a residential building belonging to Al-Halis family near Al-Quds Hospital in Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City.

WAFA correspondent pointed out that warplanes destroyed a number of citizens’ homes in Beer Al-Naja area in the northern Gaza Strip, and in al-Nasr neighborhood, killing and wounding a number of civilians.

He noted that a number of citizens were killed, and others were injured, in a raid on an inhabited house for the Abu Ghabin family in the Beach Camp, west of Gaza City.

He added that the occupation aircraft bombed, with dozens of missiles, the main road east of Gaza City, specifically east of the Al-Zaytoun and Al-Shuja’iya neighborhoods, to the east.

The Israeli aggression continues for the 19th day in a row, killing and injuries more civilians, whose houses are being bombed over their heads, in addition to the massive destruction of homes, buildings, towers, residential apartments, and infrastructure.

Yesterday, more than 800 civilians were killed, the majority of whom were women and children, in 47 massacres carried out by Israeli warplanes.

The number of civilians killed since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on October 7 has reached more than 6,000 martyrs, and more than 18,000 injured.

Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza

GAZA, Wednesday, October 25, 2023 (WAFA) –

A number of Palestinians citizens were early Wednesday killed and others were injured in Israeli raids that targeted several areas in the Gaza Strip, during the ongoing aggression for the 19th day in a row.

WAFA correspondents reported that a number of citizens were killed and others were injured in a bombing that targeted a house in the Al-Shati Camp, west of Gaza City, while the occupation aircraft targeted the vicinity of Al-Faraj Mosque in the Nusayrat Camp in the middle of the Gaza Strip, as well as areas Bani Suhayla, east of Khan Younus, on the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, a house near the Italian Tower, and Al-Halees building, near Al-Quds Hospital, south of Gaza City.

The Israeli raids on residential neighborhoods in various areas of the Gaza Strip continue, leaving casualties and wounds among citizens, as the death toll since the start of the aggression on October 7th has risen to more than 5,795, the majority of whom are women, children and the elderly, while more than 18,000 were injured, and about 1,500 citizens are still under the rubble of bombed homes, including 630 children.

Baby born by emergency C-section after mother dies in Israeli bombardment of Gaza

GAZA, Wednesday, October 25, 2023 (WAFA) –

Medical sources at Nasir Hospital in Gaza said they managed to save the life of a newborn by performing an emergency cesarean section after his months-old-pregnant mother was killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting the city of Khan Younus, in the northern Strip earlier today.

Doctor Asa’d Al-Nawaj'ha, from the care department in the Nasir hospital, said: “We are facing a tragic humanitarian story that is being repeated in the Gaza Strip as a result of the Israeli bombing.”

The doctor said that the pregnant mother, who was identified as Raneem 'Hijazi, was brought to the Nasir hospital in the morning after being killed as a result of an Israeli airstrike targeting the home of Al-‘Abadla family in Khan Younus.

Doctors immediately performed an emergency cesarean birth and managed to save the life of the baby. The baby was placed in an incubator at the said Hospital and is reported in stable condition.

The mother, Raneem, was one of the nearly one million displaced people who were forced to flee their homes toward the southern part of the Strip.

A report issued by the Ministry of Health said that at least 130 premature babies who depend on incubators face the risk of death, due to scarcity of resources and lack of electricity, and about 50,000 pregnant women face challenges in accessing health care as a result of attacks on health facilities and workers.

Medical sources Wednesday announced 'Eid Nabeel Qasim Mar’i, 15, succumbed to the wounds he sustained from the Israeli occupation regime’s bombing of a group of Palestinians in the Jenin camp.

An Israeli warplane fired at least two missiles towards a group of Palestinians in the vicinity of the cemetery of the Jenin Martyrs’ Camp, killing four Palestinians, including Mar'i.

With the death of the 15-year-old child, the death toll in Jenin camp as a result of the dawn bombing by occupation aircraft rises to four.

104 Palestinians were killed as a result of the occupation’s ongoing aggression against Palestinians people in the West Bank since October 7, including two prisoner inside Israeli occupation prisons.

Israeli occupation forces kill an unarmed Palestinian teenager, during raid near Jerusalem

JERUSALEM, Wednesday, October 25, 2023 (WAFA) –

The Ministry of Health Wednesday morning announced that Israeli occupation forces killed a Palestinian youth in a massive raid into the Qalandya refugee camp, north of the occupied city of Jerusalem.

The Ministry stated that a Palestinian youth arrived at the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah, after being hit by live bullets in the chest and head.

According to local sources, the young man was identified to be A'hmed Ghalib Mutair. He was targeted by the occupation army with live bullets during confrontations that broke out after the occupation forces storming of several neighborhoods in Qalandya refugee camp.

The sources indicated that five other youths from the camp were injured by live bullets.

The occupation soldiers raided dozens of citizens' homes, blew up the doors of some of them, ransacked them, and beat up a number of civilians there.

The occupation soldiers also blew up the doors of a number of shops, stormed them, and destroyed their contents, while the soldiers attacked some citizens’ vehicles and smashed their windows with rifles, according to eyewitnesses.

The occupation forces detained a number of citizens during the storming of the camp.

The Ministry of Health indicated that the death toll in the West Bank had risen to 103 since October 7, including two inside Israeli occupation prisons.

Three Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes in Jenin camp

JENIN, Wednesday, October 25, 2023 (WAFA) – 

Three Palestinians were killed, and others were injured, at dawn on Wednesday, after Israeli occupation forces bombed a group of citizens in the Jenin camp.

Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces, accompanied by two military bulldozers, stormed the town of Burqeen, Wadi Burqeen, and Al-Hadaf neighborhood in the camp, and deployed their snipers on the roofs of a number of homes and buildings, before an Israeli plane fired at least two missiles towards a group of citizens in the vicinity of the Jenin Camp cemetery, killing Mu'hammed Qadri Al-Saba'h, Mahmoud Al-Fayed, and Mu'hammed Abu Qatana, and injuring others, who were transferred to hospitals in the city of Jenin.

The director of Jenin Governmental Hospital, Wisam Bakr, said in a phone conversation with WAFA that two slain Palestinians arrived at the hospital, while the third one was transferred to Ibn Seena Hospital, noting that about 23 citizens, including a child, were injured, adding that a number of them were wounded seriously.

Local sources added that the occupation forces obstructed the arrival of ambulances to the casualties, and fired bullets at anyone who approached them, noting that there was a power outage in several neighborhoods in the city of Jenin, coinciding with the occupation’s incursion.

With the killing of the three young men in Jenin, the death toll in the West Bank since October 7th rises to 99.

Palestinian youth dies tonight of critical wounds he sustained by Israeli gunfire a week ago

A Nineteen-year-old Palestinian succumbed tonight to critical wounds he sustained by Israeli forces’ gunfire last week.

Israeli occupation forces abduct 72 Palestinians from the West Bank

WEST BANK, Wednesday, October 25, 2023 (WAFA) – 

The Israeli occupation regime forces last night and early Wednesday carried out a wide-scale raid and abduction campaign in several in areas in the occupied West Bank, detaining 72 Palestinian civilian citizens.

In Jerusalem, Israeli occupation forces detained 20 Palestinians, including two women.

Additionally, the occupation soldiers detained six from Ramallah, 11 from Bait La'him (Bethlehem), two from Qalqilya, one from Salfeet, three from Jenin, and three more from Tubas.

Moreover, 26 from Hebron city, 11 from Bait 'Awwa town, and eight from Bait Ummar town, both belong to the district of Hebron.

Israeli occupation forces demolish a Palestinian house in Jerusalem's Shaikh Jarra'h area

JERUSALEM,  Wednesday, October 25, 2023 (WAFA) –

 Israeli occupation regime's bulldozers demolished a Palestinian-owned house in Shaikh Jarra'h neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem.

Jerusalemite citizen Is'haq Abu Jibna told WAFA that the occupation bulldozers stormed his house in the Shaikh Jarra'h neighborhood and began demolishing it, which is home to nine members of his family.

Abu Jibna expressed his fear that the occupation municipality would impose a large fine on him after it demolished the house.

Meanwhile, the occupation authorities forced Jerusalemite resident Ibraheem Al-Mali'hi to demolish his house this morning in the town of Bait 'Haneena, north of Jerusalem.

Jerusalemites are forced to demolish their homes themselves under pressure from the occupation authorities, in order to avoid paying heavy financial fines imposed on them by the occupation municipality in Jerusalem, if its vehicles carry out the demolition.

Illegal Israeli settlers attack Palestinian farmers in Salfeet-area village, force them to leave their land

SALFIT, Wednesday, October 25, 2023 (WAFA) –

 Illegal Israeli settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, opened fire at farmers in the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, northwest of Salfeet.

Local sources told WAFA that colonists, protected by the occupation forces, stormed the Nuwaitif area in the town and opened fire on the olive pickers, forcing them to leave their lands.

Israeli settlers storm Jerusalem's Aqsa Mosque

JERUSALEM, Wednesday, October 25, 2023 (WAFA) -  

Dozens of Israeli settlers Wednesday morning stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied Jerusalem, under protection from Israeli occupation police, according to local sources.

Witnesses said scores of settlers entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque in separate groups, where they conducted provocative tours through the courtyards of the mosque, received explanations about the alleged "Jewish Temple," and performed Talmudic rituals near the Dome of the Rock.

This latest incident adds to the ongoing tensions surrounding Al-Aqsa Mosque, the third most revered site in Islam. The entry of settlers into the compound, backed by Israeli security forces, is often met with condemnation from Palestinian officials and religious authorities.

The Islamic Waqf, the Jordan-run authority in charge of the holy site, has repeatedly called for international intervention to prevent these incursions, which are seen as a direct challenge to the status quo of the holy site and an affront to the sentiments of Muslims worldwide.

Since 2003, the Israeli occupation authorities have been allowing Israeli Jewish settlers into the compound almost on a daily basis, with the exclusion of Friday, the Muslim day of rest and worship.

Israel captured East Jerusalem, where Al-Aqsa Mosque is located, during the Six-Day War in 1967 in a move never recognized by the international community.

Al-Aqsa Mosque is subjected to almost daily incursions by Israeli settlers, except on Saturday and Sunday, which are done under the heavy guard of the Israeli police in an attempt to divide the mosque spatially and temporally between Muslims and Jews.
