While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

'Hamas declares a seventh day of the temporary humanitarian ceasefire

Thursday 30-November-2023, GAZA, (PIC)

As the Israeli genocidal war against the Gaza Strip entered its 55th day on Thursday, the 'Hamas Movement and the Israeli occupation government agreed to extend the temporary humanitarian ceasefire for a seventh day — in the midst of preparations for the release of the seventh batch of detainees as part of the partial prisoner exchange deal.

The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporter in Gaza said that a sense of relief prevailed among the citizens after hearing that the ceasefire deal was extended for another day at the last minutes before its expiry at 7:00 a.m.

Earlier upon hearing initial news about the Israeli refusal to extend the truce, large numbers of citizens had returned to the shelters at dawn today after leaving them and going back to their homes at the beginning of the ceasefire, according to the PIC reporter.

The reporter added that the citizens who returned to the shelters left them again and went back to their homes after a new extension of the ceasefire was announced.

Announcement of Ceasefire Extension

'Hamas announced on Thursday morning its agreement to extend the humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza for a seventh day. Its announcement came a few minutes before the six-day ceasefire was set to expire at 7:00 a.m. today.

Meanwhile, Majid al-Ansari, the official spokesman for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, confirmed that an agreement was reached on Thursday to extend the humanitarian truce in the Gaza Strip for an additional day under the same previous conditions, which include a ceasefire and the entry of humanitarian aid.

Spokesman Ansari told the Qatari News Agency (QNA) that there are intensive efforts to broker a permanent ceasefire deal in the Gaza Strip.

Earlier in the morning, 'Hamas said that the Israeli occupation army had refused to receive seven of its detainees and three bodies of those killed recently as a result of the relentless Israeli attacks on Gaza, in exchange for extending the ceasefire by one more day.

'Hamas’s armed wing, al-Qassam Brigades, had already asked its fighters to be on high alert for a return to fighting if the truce was not renewed on Thursday.

The humanitarian truce, which began last Friday (November 24) at 7:00 a.m., was supposed to end on Thursday, while intensive efforts are underway to extend it as a prelude to reaching a comprehensive ceasefire.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) released the sixth batch of Palestinian prisoners, including women, to the West Bank and Jerusalem on Thursday morning, while al-Qassam Brigades released 10 detained children and women last night.

As part of the exchange deal, the IOF released 210 female and child prisoners during the past six days, while the resistance released 70 Israeli detainees, including women and children. In addition, they released around 27 foreign detainees as part of humanitarian initiatives and in response to the efforts of several parties

The IOF continues to detain about 8,000 Palestinian prisoners, including more than 3,000 who were arrested after October 7. The spokesperson for the Israeli occupation government, Elon Levy, claims that 151 Israelis are still being held captive in the Gaza Strip.

'Hamas demands a comprehensive deal that includes the release of all Palestinian prisoners in exchange for the release of all Israeli captives in Gaza.

Field Developments

The Israeli occupation regime forces opened fire towards agricultural lands in the east of Khan Younus, in a new violation of the ceasefire agreement, according to local sources.

The PIC reporter said that Israeli gunboats fired several shells towards the coast of Dair El-Bala'h and Khan Younus in the central and southern Gaza Strip.

In the past few days, Israeli forces have repeatedly fired gunshots and shells at several areas of the Gaza Strip, resulting in the martyrdom of four citizens and the injury of around 20 others.

Meanwhile, civil defense crews and volunteers continue to search for missing persons in accessible areas, amid appeals for providing Gaza with experts and special equipment to help the local authorities recover bodies and remove debris and rubble.

Ma'hmoud Basil, the spokesman for the civil defense authority, said that their teams had recovered about 250 bodies of martyrs from the streets and roads of Gaza City and northern Gaza during the past five days of the temporary ceasefire.

In news remarks, Basil stated that 90 percent of these bodies are decomposed and unidentified due to their prolonged presence on the streets, as the ambulance and civil defense crews were unable to reach and recover them due to the intensity of Israeli airstrikes and the ground incursion into different areas of Gaza City and its north.

Since the first moment the temporary ceasefire agreement came into effect, civil defense crews have been dispatched to areas they are able to reach in Gaza City and the northern parts of the Strip where there are no Israeli tanks and vehicles, according the spokesman.

“The scenes were painful and shocking,” he added, noting that there are many areas where civil defense crews are not able to reach due to many risks.

According to Palestinian journalists, the IOF opens fire, without hesitation, at anything that moves, including citizens who attempt to reach their homes to inspect them, such as those in the vicinity of the Jerusalem Hospital in Tel Al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City, and the Hospitals of Al-Ranteesi and Al-Nasser in the Nasr neighborhood in the north of Gaza City, as well as in other areas adjacent to the Israeli security fence in the east and north of the Strip.

ICJ Norway and Defend International Law file complaint against Israeli leaders for complicity in crimes against humanity

OSLO, Thursday, November 30, 2023 (WAFA) -

ICJ Norway and Defend International Law have filed a complaint with Norwegian prosecutors against Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, member of Israel's War Cabinet Benjamin Gantz, and Chief of Israeli General Staff Herzl Halevi, for complicity in crimes against humanity in Gaza, today said a press release.

Crimes against humanity are widespread or systematic attacks in the form of serious human rights violations directed against a civilian population. ICJ Norway is the Norwegian branch of the International Commission of Jurists, while Defend International Law is an initiative of 44 Norwegian lawyers. Both are independent and autonomous and work to promote respect for international law, the rule of law and human rights.

The 61-page complaint is in principle filed on behalf of all Norwegian citizens and foreigners residing in Norway who stayed in Gaza from 7 October 2023, at the same time as it is filed specifically on behalf of persons who have so far signed a documented power of attorney to ICJ Norway and Defend International Law. As more persons are expected to subscribe to the complaint, further information will be submitted, said the press release.

“The crimes against humanity to which this report applies are committed against Norwegian citizens and persons associated with Norway,” according to a statement by Terje Einarsen, Professor of Law and Chairman of the Board of ICJ Norway. “Several of the crimes have affected everyone who stayed in Gaza, i.e., about 2.2 million people, making this the most serious criminal case ever that has come up in Norway. What is unique is that Gaza became one continuous crime scene of such violations directed against a civilian population, through the combination of Israel's blockade and the extensive bombing of Gaza with the consequences this has had for so many innocent civilians.”

The legal basis for the alleged criminal acts is Section 102 of the Norwegian Criminal Code. The reported crimes against humanity are all considered to have been fully completed as criminal offenses within 15 November 2023. The complaint has been filed with the National Prosecutor's Office (NAST), which specializes in international crimes such as genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes.

The complaint for the crimes in question targets three of those with presumably the highest responsibility among Israel's political and military leaders. Since heads of state are assumed to have immunity under international law, the review is not directed at Israel's current president, prime minister, or foreign minister as they enjoy under international law the "Head of State Immunity" at the state-national level as long as they hold their positions.

“It must be an end to Israel's lack of respect for, and compliance with, its obligations under international law,” according to a statement by attorney Kjell M. Brygfjeld of Defend International Law. “For the first time, criminal action must be taken for the responsibility of the Israeli leadership in the completely inhuman suffering inflicted on the Palestinian population.”

Sixth batch of Palestinian detainees released from Israeli occupation regime prisons as part of swap deal

RAMALLAH, Thursday, November 30, 2023 (WAFA) -

The Israeli occupation regime released predawn on Thursday 30 Palestinian detainees as part of the Gaza-truce swap deal, including 15 women and 15 male teenagers.

An International Committee of the Red Cross bus transported detainees from the 'Ofer military prison to Ramallah, while detainees from Jerusalem, were released from the Russian Compound detention center.

The list of women who were released included two from Jerusalem, three from Hebron, three from Ramallah, and seven from Arab towns in Israel, while the boys include six from Jerusalem, three from Bethlehem, two from Ramallah, two from Jenin, one from Jericho, and one from Hebron.

All the detainees, with the exception of one from an Arab town in Israel, were detained after October 7, when Israel started its aggression on the Gaza Strip.

Israeli occupation forces earlier Wednesday night stormed the homes of the families of the Palestinian detainees in Jerusalem and threatened them not to hold any celebrations after the release of their children.

Before the prisoners’ release, the occupation forces stormed the neighborhoods near the "Ofer" military prison located in Baitounia, west of Ramallah, leading to confrontations, during which forces fired live bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas bombs toward Palestinians.

The military incursion coincided with the anticipated release of Palestinian detainees from Israeli jails.

Furthermore, large Israeli military forces before midnight stormed the vicinity of the family home of Palestinian detainee, Maryam Salhab in the city of Hebron prior to her release amid the heavy firing of stun grenades.

WHO Director-General: WHO’s greatest concern remains supporting Gaza’s health system and health workers to function

GENEBVA, Wednesday, November 29, 2023 (WAFA) –

Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, said during his opening remarks at a media briefing in Geneva, that WHO’s greatest concern remains supporting Gaza’s health system and health workers to function.

He said that only 15 of Gaza’s 36 hospitals are still functioning at all in the Strip, but are completely overwhelmed. For example, European Gaza Hospital is currently operating at triple its capacity, he said.

Of the 24 hospitals north of Gaza, only three are functioning at the most basic level, but they lack fuel, water and food, he said.

WHO Director-General said the pause has enabled WHO to increase deliveries of medical supplies in Gaza and to transfer patients from Al-Shifa Hospital to other hospitals south of Gaza.

During the first three days of the pause, WHO received 121 pallets of supplies into its warehouse in Gaza, including IV fluids, medicines, lab supplies, medical disposables, and trauma and surgical supplies, he noted.

“This is enough to support about 90 000 people.” However, much more is needed, he stressed.

WHO’s greatest concern remains supporting Gaza’s health system and health workers to function, he stated.

The health needs of the population of Gaza have increased dramatically, but they are now being serviced by one third of the hospitals and primary care clinics, he said.

And with severe overcrowding, the risks are increasing for epidemics of respiratory tract infections, acute watery diarrhea, hepatitis, scabies, lice and other diseases, he added.

“But we repeat that emergency medical teams and field hospitals can only complement Gaza’s health system, not replace it.”

The priority must be to support Gaza’s health workers, hospitals and clinics to do their jobs, he said.

Journalists Syndicate: Israel committed 350 crimes against Palestinian journalists since start of aggression

RAMALLAH, Wednesday, November 29, 2023 (WAFA) -

The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate (PJS) said today that it has documented about 350 crimes and serious violations against Palestinian journalists and media committed by Israel during 50 days of aggression against the Palestinian people.

It said in a statement on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, which coincides today, that the occupation forces have killed 70 journalists during its aggression against the Gaza Strip since October 7, equivalent to 120% of those killed in 23 years and is equal to more than three times the number of journalists killed in all parts of the world since the beginning of this year, while two journalists remain missing and 28 others are detained.

“Marking the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People this year comes while the racist Israeli occupation is committing genocides against the Palestinian people, including journalists, which is a blatant violation of the Geneva Conventions, international humanitarian law, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the United Nations Declaration in 1993 adopting World Press Freedom Day, the decision of the European Court of Human Rights in 2010, Security Council Resolutions 1738 and 2222, and United Nations Resolution No. 163/68 regarding no impunity for perpetrators of crimes against journalists," said the PJS.

"These facts demand urgent international position and action to stop these ongoing crimes, punish the occupation for its crimes, and provide effective protection for journalists," it said, considering every international body that hesitates to implement this and play its role in it as a partner and complicit with the occupation in its crimes against journalists.

Massive rally in Karachi expresses support for Gaza

Thursday 30-November-2023, KARACHI, (PIC)

Pakistan’s southern Karachi port city witnessed a huge rally on Wednesday, bringing together people from diverse backgrounds in support of the residents of Gaza on International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.

The United Nations General Assembly designated November 29 for this observance by adopting a resolution in 1977. This year’s Palestinian solidarity day comes at a time when more than 15,000 people have been killed in Israeli airstrikes and ground offensive on Gaza since October 7.

As millions around the world protested against Israel’s ongoing war in major cities, civil society groups and organizations in Karachi also initiated the call for Wednesday’s rally, which garnered support from businesspeople, journalists, artists, traders, and political leaders.

“We are here to express solidarity with Palestinians and condemn Israel for killing innocent people in Gaza,” Fahim Zaman, former administrator of Karachi and one of the rally’s organizers, told media.

He demanded a total cease-fire, compensation for the dead and wounded Palestinians, reconstruction of Gaza and a trial for Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the International Criminal Court.

Most rally participants carried placards with slogans like “Free Palestine,” “Cease-fire Now,” “Save Gaza,” and “End Palestinian Genocide.”

Veteran journalist and writer Ghazi Salahuddeen said there was increased global awareness regarding the Palestine issue. “Everyone knows about Gaza,” he said. “Everyone knows about the issues at stake. I think this conflict has brought like-minded people worldwide together in a larger kind of movement,” he continued.

Ieman Al Hajj, a Palestinian woman at the march, voiced the shared responsibility to support Palestine.

“It’s our duty toward our brothers and sisters in Palestine and Gaza to be part of this march and to raise our voices to stop the genocide and the war,” she said.

Laila, another participant who did not share her full name, stressed the importance of continuous protest.

“We should protest until Palestine is free,” she said. “We must fight for the freedom of all oppressed people around the world.”

Notable politicians, including Karachi’s mayor Murtaza Wahab, former Sindh governor Mu'hammed Zubair, Jama'at-e-Islami leader Hafiz Na'eem-ur-Ra'hman, Awami National Party’s Shahi Syed and Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s Kishwar Zehra, also participated in the rally.

Seven decomposed bodies of premature babies found in Gaza hospital

GAZA, Wednesday, November 29, 2023 (WAFA) --

Medical teams found today partially decomposed bodies of five premature babies in Al-Nasr Hospital for Children in Gaza City.

Before the truce entered into force on Friday morning, Israeli airstrikes targeted several hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip, while a number of them were evacuated under violent bombardment and tight siege.

A medical source said that the Israeli forces previously closed down the intensive care unit at Al-Nasr Hospital, where the partially decomposed bodies of five premature babies were found by doctors today after the occupation soldiers abandoned them there before withdrawing from the hospital.

Earlier this month, eight premature babies lost their lives after their incubators went inoperative due to a power outage after the occupation prevented fuel from reaching the Al-Shifa Medical Complex.

Thirty-one premature babies were evacuated to hospitals in the southern Gaza Strip, and a number of them were transferred to Egypt to continue treatment.

Killing and Injuring of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces

Abu 'Asab was killed for refusing to lower his head

Thursday 30-November-2023, AL-KHALIL, (PIC)

The 18-year-old Palestinian freed detainee Mu'hammed Salhab recalled a harrowing account of human rights violations against Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.

Salhab, who is from Al-Khaleel and has been released within a partial prisoner exchange deal between Hamas and Israel, revealed that prisoner Tha-ir Abu 'Asab was tortured to death just because he refused to lower his head for inspection.

Speaking to Aljazeera tv, Salhab said that the killing crime of Abu 'Asab took place during an inspection operation in prison when an Israeli officer got mad at martyr Abu 'Asab who refused to follow an order to lower down his head during the inspection.

“The officer told other jailers: “kill him. I do not want him alive,” Salhab said.

The freed Palestinian teenager narrated so many stories of Israeli retaliatory attacks and abusive practices against Palestinian prisoners that have been carried out since October 7.

Israeli jailers have been pursuing a systematic hunger policy against Palestinian prisoners in addition to cutting off basic services and supplies such as electric appliances, clothes, blankets, mattresses, and billows.

Palestinian detainees have been continuously subjected to assaults, torture, and abuse, according to previous remarks by the head of Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs.

Since October 7, more than 3,000 Palestinians in the West Bank have been arrested and more than 200 others have been killed at the hands of Israeli occupation forces.

While Israel set free 30 Palestinians in a swap deal, its forces detained 40 others in West Bank raids

RAMALLAH, Thursday, November 30, 2023 (WAFA) –

As 30 Palestinian detainees in Israel got a chance to return home to the West Bank and East Jerusalem early this morning in the prisoners’ swap deal, Israeli occupation forces were busy detaining Palestinians in raids across the West Bank, rounding up even more than the number of prisoners released.

The Palestinian Prisoners Commission and the Prisoner Society said that the Israeli army detained 40 Palestinians in these raids, including two girls and former prisoners, mainly in Al-Khaleel (Hebron), Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), Tulkarm, and Jerusalem governorates.

At least 10 were detained in the Hebron governorate, seven in the Jerusalem governorate, eight in the Bethlehem governorate, and nine in Tulkarm, including siblings and fathers and sons.

In addition, two were detained in Qalqilya, one in Jericho, and three in Tubas, said the organizations.

With the latest arrests, Israel has detained 3365 Palestinians in the occupied territories since the start of the Israeli aggression on Gaza on October 7.

Palestinian prisoners suffer from unprecedented measures in Israeli jails

Thursday 30-November-2023, WEST BANK, (PIC)

Palestinian prisoners have sent a message regarding the retaliatory and repressive measures they are being exposed to inside Israeli jails.

“Since October 7, the Zionist enemy has been waging its revenge war against the Palestinians in Gaza, the West Bank and prisons to cover up the defeat they sustained in Operation ‘Al-Aqsa Flood.’”

According to their message, the Israeli jailers have committed “heinous crimes” against the prisoners in all jails, simultaneously with the “war crimes” and the “crimes against humanity” that are happening against Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza, with US support.

The prisoners called on the Qatari and Egyptian mediators, the International Committee of the Red Cross, the UN, and the free world’s countries to necessarily pressure the Israeli occupation authority to stop its vengeful attacks and systematic crimes against them.

The Palestinian prisoners complained of being held captive under harsh detention conditions and inside cells that were turned into “deadly caged graves,” affirming that a number of them were “assassinated” recently in different Israeli jails.

The prisoners applauded the resistance in Gaza for treating Israeli and foreign captives humanely and kindly, unlike the inhuman and abusive treatment the Palestinian prisoners receive from Israeli jailers.

Since October 7, the Israeli prison service has escalated its repressive and punitive measures unprecedentedly against the Palestinian prisoners. Six detainees were recently killed after their exposure to excruciating torture at the hands of Israeli prison officers.
