While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic nams as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

Ministry says 439 people from the higher education community were killed since October 7

RAMALLAH, Thursday, November 2, 2023 (WAFA) -

The number of people killed from the higher education community since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7 reached 439, including 427 students and 12 employees and academics, 85% of them were in the Gaza Strip, according to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

It said in a statement today that nine higher education buildings were completely or partially damaged in the Gaza Strip in the Israeli strikes and two in the West Bank.

Education was disrupted in 19 higher education institutions in the Gaza Strip, which led to 88,000 students being deprived of education, added the ministry, pointing out that face-to-face education has been disrupted in all 34 academic institutions in the West Bank affecting more than 138,800 students as a result of the difficulty and danger of movement of students and staff due to the occupation’s military checkpoints and its ongoing attacks.

In addition, there are hundreds of detainees in the West Bank and thousands of wounded in the Gaza Strip from the higher education community who could be counted for so far, said the Ministry.

It noted that 555 students who have scholarships to study outside the Gaza Strip were unable to join their universities due to the ongoing aggression.

The Israeli occupation regime forces dropped the equivalent of two nuclear bombs on Gaza

GENEVA, (PIC) +-

The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor reported that the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) dropped over 25,000 tons of explosives on the Gaza Strip, since Oct. 7. The organization said that the amount is equivalent to two nuclear bombs.

The Geneva-based human rights group said in a statement on Thursday the IOF has admitted bombing over 12,000 targets in the besieged Gaza Strip with a record tally of bombs exceeding 10 kilograms of explosives per individual.

The Euro-Med Monitor highlighted that the weight of the nuclear bomb dropped by the United States on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan at the end of World War II in August 1945 was estimated at about 15,000 tons of explosives.

“Considering the technological development of the effectiveness of bombs, the explosives dropped on Gaza may be twice of a nuclear bomb, which means that the destructive power of the explosives dropped on Gaza exceeds what was dropped on Hiroshima”, The Monitor said, noting that the area of the Japanese city is 900 square kilometers, while the area of Gaza does not exceed 360 kilometers.

The statement underlined that Israel uses bombs with huge destructive power, some of which ranges from 150-1,000 kilograms, referring to the statement of Israeli War Minister Yoav Galant who said that more than 10,000 bombs were dropped on Gaza City alone.

The human rights organization mentioned that Israel's use of internationally banned weapons in its attacks on the Gaza Strip has been documented, especially the use of cluster and phosphorus bombs, which is a waxy toxic substance that reacts quickly with oxygen and causes severe second- and third-degree burns.

The Euro-Med Monitor’s team has documented cases of injuries among the wounded due to Israeli air strikes similar to those caused by dangerous cluster bombs, as they contain small, high-explosive bombs with shrapnel penetrating and causing explosions inside the body, leaving it with severe burns that lead to skin melting and sometimes to death. In addition, these fragments cause strange swelling and poisoning in the body, including transparent fragments that do not appear on x-rays.

Euro-Med Monitor further stressed that Israel’s destructive and arbitrary attacks come in violation of the international humanitarian law which stipulates that the protection of civilians is obligatory in all cases and under any circumstances, and that killing civilians is considered a war crime in both international and non-international armed conflicts, and may amount to a crime against humanity.

The Euro-Med Monitor called for the formation of an independent international investigation committee into the volume of explosives and the internationally prohibited weapons Israel has been using against civilians in the Gaza Strip. It also called on the international community to hold those responsible for such inhuman attacks accountable and to take the necessary measures that guarantee achieving justice for the Palestinian victims.
