24,490 Palestinians Killed, 46,558 Injured, in US-Backed Israeli Genocidal War on Gaza December 9, 2023 *** Editor's Notes: Here are some statistics, which show the Israeli war crimes against humanity, during the current Israeli genocidal war on Gaza: By December 9, 2023, the initial death toll of Palestinians who have been killed by the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strop is 24,490+. This includes the accounted for deaths (17,490) and those who are still missing under the rubble (7,000+). By December 9, 2023, the death toll included 7,870+ children and 6,121+ women. The documented injuries exceeded 46,558. By December 7, 2023, there was a complete destruction of 50,000+ housing units, and 300,000+ damaged housing units. This forced about 1.5 million people to become homeless, taking refuge in crowded UN schools and ultimately sleeping in the streets. The Israeli refusal to allow international aid caravans to enter Gaza freely led the Palestinian population to be on the verge of mass extermination for the lack of food, water, medicine, and fuel. By December 6, 2023, 290 health personnel were killed and hundreds were injured, 102 ambulances were destroyed while on duty, killing and injuring their crews, and destroyed 56 health institutions. As a result of the strikes and lack of fuel, 26 hospitals and 46 primary care centers are not functioning. By December 7, 2023, there were 267 Palestinians who were killed, 3,214+ who were injured, and 3,646 who were abducted by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank. ***

"Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32). "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93). *** While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians. No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since. The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

the following sources: US vetoes UN resolution calling for ceasefire in Gaza Saturday 9-December-2023, NEW YORK, (PIC) The UN Security Council failed to adopt another resolution calling for a ceasefire in the warn-torn Gaza Strip after the US used its veto power against it and ignored secretary-general Antonio Guterres’ warning of a global threat from Israel’s brutal war on the Gaza civilians who are facing a “spiraling humanitarian nightmare.” 13 Security Council members voted in favor of a brief draft resolution, put forward by the United Arab Emirates on Friday, while the United Kingdom abstained. The resolution called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza for humanitarian reasons and warned of the worsening catastrophic situation in Gaza. The resolution also called for the protection of civilians, the immediate and unconditional release of all captives, and allowing humanitarian access to Gaza. The Israeli occupation army has been bombarding Gaza from the air, sea and ground and imposing a tight siege on the population for many weeks. Vast areas of the territory have been reduced to a wasteland. The UN says about 80 percent of the population has been displaced, facing shortages of food, fuel, water and medicine, along with the threat of disease and famine. Addressing the Council on Friday before the resolution was tabled for a vote, Guterres confirmed that “some 85 percent of the population have been forced from their homes.” “The people of Gaza are being told to move like human pinballs – ricocheting between ever-smaller slivers of the south, without any of the basics for survival,” the secretary-general said, addressing the Security Council on Friday. He said that although the UN is committed to continuing to provide assistance for the Gaza population, “there is a high risk of the total collapse of the humanitarian support system in Gaza, which would have devastating consequences.” “Gaza’s health system is collapsing while needs are escalating,” he warned further. He also pointed to Gazans’ need for food and warned of a “serious risk of starvation and famine.” “We anticipate that it would result in a complete breakdown of public order and increased pressure for mass displacement into Egypt. I fear the consequences could be devastating for the security of the entire region.” During the session, Qatar’s representative to the UN, Shaikha 'Alia Al-Thani, called on the Security Council to adopt the draft resolution submitted by the Arab Group. The Qatari representative stressed that the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council reject any Israeli justifications for its aggression against Gaza and its measures to displace its residents, and urged the international community to increase urgent humanitarian support to the residents of the Gaza Strip. The vote came after Guterres on Thursday took the rare step of invoking Article 99 of the UN Charter – urging the Security Council to work to “avert a humanitarian catastrophe” with “potentially irreversible implications for Palestinians” in the besieged Gaza Strip. Article 99 allows the secretary general to bring any issue that “may threaten the maintenance of international peace and security,” to the attention of the council. This is the first time in Guterres’ nearly seven-year tenure that he has used this power. *** *** UNICEF: Gaza is the most dangerous place in the world for children AMMAN, Saturday, December 9, 2023 (WAFA) – Adele Khodr, UNICEF's Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa, said today that the Gaza Strip is the most dangerous place in the world for children. She reported scores of children being killed and injured daily, with entire neighborhoods transformed into rubble, devoid of life. "Our team on the ground describes meeting children with missing limbs and third-degree burns, and children left shell-shocked by the continuing violence that surrounds them," stated Khodr. "Close to one million children have been forcibly displaced from their homes, pushed into tiny, overcrowded areas without water, food, or protection, putting them at increased risk of respiratory infections and waterborne diseases." Khodr described the Israeli restrictions on delivering lifesaving aid into and across the Gaza Strip as "another death sentence for children." The quantities of aid entering are far from adequate, and the challenges have intensified due to ongoing Israeli bombing and fuel shortages. "The humanitarian system is buckling, particularly under the extreme strain caused by the measures imposed after the end of the ceasefire, as the population is pushed further into despair," Khodr added. Khodr stressed that an immediate, long-lasting humanitarian ceasefire is the only solution to end the suffering of children and civilians, affirming it was crucial to protect civilians and enable the delivery of urgently needed lifesaving aid. "Humanitarian aid must be allowed at scale to prevent further suffering. UNICEF and humanitarian organizations must have safe access to all children and their families wherever they are in the Gaza Strip, including in the north," Khodr urged. She emphasized the need for swift action. "The world is watching, helpless and devastated – we cannot act quickly enough. This must stop immediately," she concluded. M.N. *** GMO: Rising number of martyrs amidst policy of thirst, hunger, humiliation Saturday 9-December-2023, GAZA, (PIC)-- The Government Media Office in Gaza confirmed in a press conference on Friday evening that the number of martyrs, after 63 days of the brutal Israeli war on Gaza, continues to rise by the hundreds every day. It appears that international institutions and the international community are implementing a systematic policy to humiliate the people of Gaza, starve them, and thirst them, it added. The Office spokesman pointed out that the number of martyrs (killed) has risen to 17,490, including 7,870 children and 6,121 women, among those who have reached hospitals. The number of missing persons reached 7,780, either under the rubble or their fate is still unknown, he said, adding that the number of injuries has exceeded 46,558 since the beginning of the ongoing genocide war on Gaza on October 7. The GMO spokesman said that the genocidal war committed by the Israeli occupation army against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip continues, with the continued brutal killing of civilians, children, and women, through the bombardment and destruction of safe homes without prior warning. The spokesman expressed outrage at what he described as the Israeli occupation army’s new crime, “adding to its series of brutal crimes against our Palestinian people, by arresting dozens of civilians in Bait Lahya area (north of the Gaza Strip), and under gun threat forcing them to undress, binding their hands and ordering them not to move”. He said that the occupation forces put them in trucks and transported them while they were naked to the seashore after blinding their eyes. They were left in the cold without clothes and remained in this humiliating situation until the early hours of the same night. Later on, they ordered some of them to return to their homes while keeping others under arrest, torture, and interrogation, he added. On the other hand, the spokesman pointed out that the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) is practicing a mysterious role in humiliating and insulting people by stopping the distribution of aid in some areas or through its extremely slow policies in other areas. The spokesman warned all free countries, international organizations, and the international community of a humanitarian catastrophe being committed by the Israeli occupation army against civilians with clear approval from the United States and the international community. This is manifested in the destruction of more than 61% of homes and residential units in the Gaza Strip, he elaborated. A cheap method of pressuring Gaza The GMO spokesman warned that the cessation of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip or the entry of a few trucks carrying aid such as flour, COVID-19 tests, and some bottles of water is a cheap method aimed at pressuring the Palestinian people, especially children and women, by depriving them of food, medicine, and essential necessities of life, depriving them of their basic rights. “This is tantamount to a death sentence for 2.4 million people in the Gaza Strip,” he charged. He also emphasized that the war on hospitals and the health sector in general is ongoing and relentless, deliberately causing the collapse of the health and humanitarian system, especially in the governorates of Gaza and the north. He warned that the Gaza Strip is going through a critical stage on all levels, especially on the humanitarian, relief, food, water, and health levels. This foreshadows a real catastrophe that will lead to a complete and unprecedented deterioration of the situation, he added. The spokesman called on institutions, organizations, and international bodies to fulfill their required role actively and effectively, with a special emphasis on the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) returning to work in the governorates of Gaza and the north. He held the Israeli occupation, the international community, and especially the American administration represented by President Biden and his Secretary of State fully responsible for the war of genocide and for the humiliation of civilians by forcing them to undress and torturing them while they are naked. Demanding the opening of the Rafa'h crossing The GMO spokesman called for the complete and round-the-clock opening of the Rafah crossing, holding the United States of America and the Israeli occupation responsible for obstructing the entry of aid. He demanded the entry of 1,000 trucks of assistance and supplies, as well as the daily entry of one million liters of fuel. He appealed to the Gulf Cooperation Council, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Arab League, and all free countries around the world to immediately come together to find a solution to the humanitarian catastrophe resulting from the displacement of 305,000 families from their homes. He also called on the Arab countries to provide equipped field hospitals in order to try to save tens of thousands of wounded and sick individuals. Lastly, He urgently and immediately requested the entry of hundreds of equipment and machinery for relief, emergency, civil defense, and construction crews so that they can retrieve the bodies of hundreds of martyrs that are still under the rubble. ***
*** US-backed Israeli genocide in Gaza enters day 64 Saturday 9-December-2023, GAZA, (PIC) As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered day 64 on Saturday, massive aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound and level whole blocks and homes and massacre more civilians, mostly children and women. According to local sources, the Israeli occupation army carried out hundreds of aerial and artillery attacks last night and in the morning on different areas of Gaza. More dismembered bodies of children and women and more seriously wounded civilians are evacuated to hospitals that have already exceeded their capacity and gone out of service in Gaza — which has been showered with bombs for 64 days. Rescue and ambulance crews are also unable to reach many killed or wounded civilians who are still buried under the rubble of buildings or lying on roads in different areas of Gaza, especially in the north and east. This horrific situation and many other heart-wrenching and tragic scenes have been in besieged Gaza for many weeks. However, the US administration is persistent in helping the Israeli occupation government in its genocidal war on Gaza. On Friday, the US condemned tens of thousands of Palestinians in Gaza to death by vetoing a resolution calling for a ceasefire. Meanwhile, the Gaza health ministry said that over 17,487 Palestinians have been martyred and 46,480 others have been wounded since October 7. *** Israeli occupation army drops incendiary bombs on Gaza shelters Saturday 9-December-2023, GAZA, (PIC)-- The Israeli occupation army has continued its relentless bombardment on civilians in the besieged Gaza Strip, dropping a large number of incendiary bombs on schools sheltering thousands of Palestinians. The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Saturday that 71 martyrs and 160 wounded arrived in the Shuhada al-Aqsa Hospital over the last 24 hours, in the wake of targeting Central Gaza. Around 62 martyrs and 100 wounded were transferred to Nasir Medical Complex in southern Gaza, the Ministry added. Local sources reported that martyrs and injured people, mostly children, were transferred to Shuhada al-Aqsa Hospital after Israeli genocidal airstrikes blew up a house in Al-Salam neighborhood in Dair El-Bala'h in central Gaza. Some of the cases were very critical while there is severe shortage in medical equipment. The bodies of four martyrs and a number of wounded were recovered from under the rubble of the house of Joefel family that was shelled last night. The Director General of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Muneer Al-Bursh, confirmed on Saturday that Israeli army bombed shelter centers in northern Gaza with smoke and incendiary bombs, causing unprecedented cases of suffocation and burns. “We have treated more than 100 unprecedented cases of suffocation and burning that we have not seen before”, Al-Bursh said. *** Gaza: Thousands of seriously wounded citizens need treatment abroad Saturday 9-December-2023, GAZA, (PIC) The Palestinian health ministry in Gaza has called for urgently opening the Rafa'h border crossing to save the lives of 7,000 wounded civilians, whose conditions are extremely serious and who need urgent medical assistance abroad. In a statement on Saturday, general director of the health ministry Muneer Al-Bursh said that there are more than 46,000 wounded people in Gaza, but only 388 of them were allowed to leave through the Rafa'h crossing to receive medical treatment abroad. “The Palestinians are dying in Gaza and not allowed to receive treatment abroad. This is outrageous,” Al-Bursh said in previous remarks. He also said that the displaced civilians in shelter centers suffer from stomach diseases and epidemics as a result of their use of contaminated water, adding that the hospitals in southern Gaza cannot handle the huge numbers of wounded citizens who were transferred from the northern areas. He pointed out that over 100 wounded citizens suffering from serious burns came from northern Gaza to hospitals in the south. *** Nonstop Israeli genocidal air and artillery strikes inflict more civilian casualties across Gaza Strip GAZA, Saturday, December 9, 2023 (WAFA) – Dozens of civilians were killed and many others were injured today in a series of Israeli genocidal airstrikes carried out by Israeli warplanes, as well as artillery bombardments, on various locations across the Gaza Strip, according to local and media reports. In Gaza City, Israeli warplanes launched intense airstrikes on the Sahaba and Daraj neighborhoods, resulting in the deaths of as many as 20 civilians and injuring others. Some of the injured were transported to the Al-Shifa Medical Complex, while others remain trapped under the rubble. In the Shuja'iya neighborhood of Gaza City, Israeli occupation forces bombarded three houses, leading to the murder of over 12 civilians and the injury of dozens, with ambulances facing extreme difficulties in retrieving the bodies due to the persisting Israeli shelling in the region. In the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, Israeli occupation forces bombarded at least four houses, resulting in approximately 15 civilian casualties and dozens of injuries, including children, women, and the elderly. Additionally, at least four civilians were killed, and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on the Sabra neighborhood, east of Gaza City, causing extensive destruction to homes. The neighborhood of Al-Rimal, west of Gaza City, is reportedly witnessing a widespread Israeli military invasion, accompanied by heavy rocket and artillery fire targeting residential buildings. There were reports of numerous casualties and injuries among the local Palestinian civilian population, accompanied by massive destruction to homes, apartments, and buildings in the area. Among the homes targeted by the Israeli bombardments in the neighborhood was the residence of the Abu Layla family, a two-story building, where a mother and her eight children were reportedly massacred, while the father and one daughter survived. In Khan Yunis, south of the enclave, two individuals were injured when Israeli warplanes targeted an ambulance near the European Hospital east of the city. The Khan Younus province is currently facing extensive Israeli ground incursions for the sixth day in a row, accompanied by artillery shelling and airstrikes. Hundreds of families are evacuating towards the neighboring city of Rafa'h, most of them displaced from Gaza City and the northern province. Meantime, the Israeli occupation forces continued their large-scale arrest campaign of Palestinians in Gaza, detaining dozens of civilians, including a doctor. In the northern Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation army has been imposing a tight siege on the Jabalya refugee camp for the fifth consecutive day, amid intense rocket and artillery fire, resulting in the deaths of dozens of civilians and injuries to others. In Dair El-Bala'h, in the central Gaza Strip, Israeli warplanes bombed three houses, resulting in the deaths of six civilians and injuring many. The humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip has reached dire levels, with hundreds of thousands of displaced families facing a famine as a result of the lack of basic necessities such as food, water, and clothing. Since the beginning of the Israeli genocidal war, approximately 16,500 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza, with over 42,000 injured. Thousands remain missing under the rubble in an ongoing and tragic humanitarian crisis. M.N Dozens killed and injured in Israeli genocidal air strikes on Gaza RAFAH, Saturday, December 9, 2023 (WAFA) - Dozens of people were killed and injured at dawn today as a result of the Israeli genocidal bombing of the cities of Gaza and Rafa'h in the Gaza Strip. Local sources said five people were killed and many others were injured as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted an inhabited house belonging to the Shtaiwi family, west of the Rafa'h crossing in the southern Gaza Strip. Dozens were also killed and injured in an Israeli bombing of the inhabited homes of the 'Hammad and 'Atallah families in the vicinity of the Al-Sahaba Medical Complex in the center of Gaza City, said local sources, who confirmed that there is no possibility of recovering the bodies of the dead due to the presence of the occupation tanks in areas close to Al-Jalaa Street in the city. The occupation forces also targeted a house in Buraij refugee camp and the north of Al-Nusayrat in the central Gaza Strip and bombed several sites in the north, center and south of the Gaza Strip. M.K At least 276 displaced Palestinians killed, while sheltering in UNRWA schools in Gaza GAZA, Friday, December 8, 2023 (WAFA) – The UN Refugee and Works Agency (UNRWA) estimated that in total at least 273 internally displaced persons (IDP) sheltering in UNRWA shelters have been killed and at least another 966 injured since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip. A statement issued by UNRWA stated that 126 attacks impacting UNRWA facilities have been reported since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Gaza, with some facilities hit multiple times. Thirty-three different UNRWA installations were directly hit and 57 different installations sustained collateral damage. UNRWA has also received reports of the Israeli military use of its facilities on at least five occasions. UNRWA said that 273 health workers attended to a total of 11,388 patients. In total, 132 UNRWA colleagues have been killed since 7 October, said UNRWA. It added that there are an estimated 50,000 pregnant women in Gaza, with more than 180 giving birth every day. A total of 313 post-natal and high-risk pregnancy cases were attended to at health centers on 4 December. In addition, post-natal care continued in the shelters, with 1,356 cases attended to since 7 October. As of 5 December, almost 1.2 million internally displaced persons (IDPs) were sheltering in 155 UNRWA installations across all five governorates of the Gaza Strip, including in the North and Gaza City. The average number of IDPs in UNRWA shelters is 10,700, more than four times their capacity. UNRWA said it was still verifying the number of casualties caused by incidents that impacted its facilities, and noted that these figures do not include some reported casualties where the number of injuries could not be determined.
