8 Palestinians Killed in 12 days, Scores Injured and Abducted, Homes Demolished by Israeli Occupation Soldiers

October 12, 2022

Editor's Note:

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of David, Solomon, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

The following news stories are just examples of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Jerusalem Family Forced To Demolish Its Home

 IMEMC, October 9, 2022

On Saturday evening, the City Council in occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank, forced a Palestinian family to demolish its home.

Media sources said the family’s home is in the Wadi al-Jouz area in Jerusalem, adding that the family has been trying to appeal the demolition order and has already paid heavy fines and fees.

The City Council in occupied Jerusalem refused to grant the family of Haj Yahia a permit for their home and threatened to impose much harsher fines in addition to legal prosecution, including imprisonment.

The family had to demolish its own home to avoid being forced to pay additional fines and fees and the hefty demolition costs if the city used its workers and equipment.

Many Palestinians in the occupied city resort to constructing their homes without permits due to Israel’s continued refusal to grant them these permits, an issue that forces expanding families to live in small homes or apartments or build homes on their lands without permits.

This happens while Israel continues to build and expand its illegal, segregated colonies in the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem, in direct violation of International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention, and various United Nations and Security Council resolutions.

Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention, and various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.

Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory.”

On its webpage, the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions (ICAHD) stated that in 2021, ICAHD analysis revealed that 937 structures were demolished and 1,119 people displaced in the OPT, with a further 12,658 people directly affected. In addition, 3004 structures were demolished in the Negev/Naqab – 431 homes and 2553 agriculture and livelihood structures.

Israeli Public Security Minister Omer Barlev arrived at the shooting scene and vowed to capture the shooter “alive or dead,” adding that the shooter was 22, from Shu’fat.

According to the Israeli occupation army radio, the soldiers arrested three members of the Palestinian believed to be the shooting, adding that the man, believed to be the driver of the car, turned himself in to the police, but said the driver is not believed to be involved of the shooting or had any prior knowledge of it.

Dozens of Palestinians suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation, cuts, and bruises before receiving treatment from local medics.

Furthermore, medical sources at Ibn Sina hospital said an Israeli army jeep rammed Anwar Abu as-Siba’ and his daughter, Eman, while standing in front of their home in the refugee camp.

The soldiers also fired dozens of gas bombs, smoke, and concussion grenades at Palestinian protesters and surrounding homes.

During the Israeli invasion, Palestinian resistance fighters exchanged fire with the soldiers in Jenin and the Jenin refugee camp, while some protesters also hurled stones and pipe bombs at the army vehicles.

It is worth mentioning that the soldiers also used military helicopters during the invasion.

In addition, the Quds News Network said the soldiers fired live rounds at its correspondent and other Palestinian journalists in the refugee camp and surrounding areas.

The soldiers also stormed and ransacked several homes, causing damage, and surrounded a home, leading to an exchange of fire, before abducting a young man, Saleh Abu Zreina.

 IMEMC, October 8, 2022

On Friday evening, the Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed that Israeli occupation soldiers shot and killed two children and injured dozens of Palestinians in the northern and central parts of the occupied West Bank.

The Health Ministry said the soldiers shot Adel Ibrahim Adel Daoud, 14, with a live round in the head, in the Al-Birin area, south of Qalqilia, in the northern West Bank.

Daoud was rushed to a Qalqilia governmental hospital in Qalqilia and then was moved to Rafidia governmental hospital in Nablus, where he officially pronounced dead due to his serious gunshot wounds to the head.

The child was shot after the army attacked dozens of Palestinians protesting on their lands near the illegal Annexation Wall in the Al-Birin area.

Palestine TV said dozens of soldiers were deployed in the area before they fired live rounds at the Palestinians and added that a sharpshooter shot the child.

It is worth mentioning that Adel’s uncle, Mohammad Daoud, from Qalqilia, was abducted by the Israeli army 35 years earlier, and was sentenced to live in prison.

Furthermore, Israeli soldiers killed Mahdi Mohammad Ladadwa, 17, from the Al-Mazra’a al-Gharbiyya village, northwest of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, after the Palestinians intercepted an attack by illegal Israeli colonizers against a house owned by Mohammad Saleh Shreiteh, in the village.

Israeli occupation soldiers invaded the village and started firing live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades at the Palestinians who intercepted the attack.

Medical sources said the soldiers killed Mahdi and shot at least two Palestinians with live fire; one was shot in the abdomen and one in the back.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said the soldiers prevented its medics from reaching Mahdi, but they eventually managed to get to him, despite being attacked by the soldiers, before he succumbed to his serious wounds.

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs And Expatriates also issued a statement condemning the execution of the two Palestinian children and affirmed it would submit the case to the International Criminal Court.

The army claimed its soldiers exchanged fire with Palestinian resistance fighters and added that two officers were reportedly slightly injured.

The “Lion’s Den” is believed to be behind dozens of shooting incidents targeting Israeli occupation soldiers, especially during the army’s operations in Jenin and Nablus, in the northern part of the West Bank.

It is worth mentioning that hundreds of Palestinians participated in Ala’s funeral ceremony and procession and carried his corpse from the Rafidia hospital in Nablus to his home in Askar refugee camp, east of Nablus before he was buried at the refugee camp’s cemetery.

More than 165 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli fire this year, including 51 in the Gaza Strip and at least 110 in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.

Israeli Occupation Army Kills Two Palestinians, Injures One, Near Ramallah”

 IMEMC, October 4, 2022

In an official statement, the Commission Of Detainees’ Affairs has confirmed that Bassel Basbous was shot and injured on Monday, October 3, but did not die from his wounds and is at the Shaare Zedek Medical Center, but Israel never informed the Palestinians about the issue. It also confirmed the death of two Palestinians.

The Commission confirmed that the two Palestinians who were killed by the Israeli occupation army are Khaled Anbar Dabbas, 21, from the Al-Jalazoun refugee camp, and Salama Ra’fat Sharay’a, 19, from Birzeit, near Ramallah.

In its statement, the Commission said:

“Bassel is at Shaare Zedek Israeli Medical Center; he was shot in the left arm and the left leg and was also admitted to surgery.

The Israeli military court in Ofer prison will hold a hearing this coming Thursday to remand him for further interrogation.”

The Commission’s lawyer, Karim Ajwa, also said the two Palestinians who were killed by the soldiers are Khaled Anbar Dabbas and Salama Ra’fat Sharay’a.

Furthermore, Palestinian Journalist Alaa Al Rimawi interviewed Bassel’s mother, who said:

“We were informed that Bassel was killed before the soldiers took his body away, and because the soldiers shot him and took him away, nobody was able to see him, and we weren’t given any further information….

However, a Doctor at the Israeli hospital, we don’t want to say who he is because we don’t want him to lose his job, managed to talk to him. The doctor thought my son was Sharay’a who was thought to be injured, but my son told him I am Bassel; please tell my parents that I am alive….”

Later, the district coordination office got in touch with us and told us that Bassel is alive. However, we are not allowed to see him, and we have no permits… the District Coordination Office is working on getting us the needed permits to visit with our son.

There was also a young Palestinian woman who saw my son at the hospital, and she got in touch with us. We sent her a photocopy of my son’s ID card, and she confirmed it is him, and he is alive…

“While am pleased my son is alive, we are all sad that Khaled and Salama are dead… it is all God’s will…”
