Israeli Occupation Forces Fire Missiles, Artillery Shells into the Besieged Gaza Strip, More Abductions, Attacks, Injuries, and Demolitions in the West Bank

 January 2, 2022

Editor's Note:

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of David, Solomon, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

The following news stories are just examples of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

WAFA: Israel Committed 384 Violations Against Journalists in 2021

 IMEMC, JAN 1, 2022

RAMALLAH, Saturday, January 01, 2022 (WAFA) –

The Palestinian News and Information Agency (WAFA) said in a report today that a total of 384 Israeli occupation regime violations against journalists working in the occupied Palestinian Territory were registered in 2021.

WAFA said Israeli violations against journalists included attacking journalists with live and metal bullets, firing tear gas, and beating and arresting journalists. It pointed out that such attacks aim to hide the truth and keep the daily Israeli crimes against defenseless Palestinian citizens untold.

“Attacking journalists, press crews and institutions using Israeli warplanes and destroying towers that house local and international media headquarters are not something new, but rather a systematic behavior in the Israeli military strategy, and a barbaric behavior targeting the safety of journalists in order to terrorize them,” WAFA said.

WAFA urged international human rights institutions and press unions to condemn these crimes by organizing international campaigns to support Palestinian journalists in the face of the daily Israeli violations against them.

 IMEMC, JAN 1, 2022

Israeli occupation regime navy ships attacked, Saturday, Palestinian fishing boats sailing less than three nautical miles from the shore northwest of Gaza city, causing damage.

Media sources said the navy attacked the boats in Palestinian waters, less than three nautical miles from the Sudaniyya Shore, northwest of Gaza city, and chased them away.

Israel Occupation Forces A Palestinian Family To Demolish Its Two Homes In Occupied Jerusalem

 IMEMC, JAN 1, 2022

A Palestinian family was forced, Friday, to demolish its two homes in Sur Baher town, south of the occupied Palestinian capital, Jerusalem, in the West Bank.

The family had to demolish its own homes after the City Council in occupied Jerusalem, informed it that if it does not demolish the properties, the city would carry the demolition out using its workers and equipment, before billing them for the costs in addition to a fine of 200.000 Shekels.

The two homes were constructed in the year 2014, each was 280 square/meters, containing six rooms; Bilal Dabash, his wife, and their three children lived in one home, while his brother, Mohammad, his wife, and their four children, lived in the second home.

Last year, the family was ordered to pay 25.000 Shekels in penalties and fees and started making payments to the city, however, the police invaded the home twenty days earlier, and handed them the final demolition order.

Family members denounced the ongoing displacement of the indigenous Palestinians from their city, Jerusalem, especially the escalating demolitions of Palestinian homes, to replace them with illegal colonies, in direct violation of International Law.

It is worth mentioning that the Land Research Center stated that the Israeli authorities have demolished 950 Palestinian homes and structures, and illegally confiscated more than 24.750 Dunams of privately owned Palestinian lands, in addition to cutting and uprooting 17.740 trees, this year.

Dozens of Palestinian homes and structures have been demolished in occupied Jerusalem, including sixty-nine homes in Silwan town, displacing 342 Palestinians, most of them are children, while Israel also issued demolition orders targeting 172 homes, in addition to standing orders targeting 5600 homes and structures.

Meanwhile, Israel expanded fifty-five illegal colonies, while fifteen new illegal outposts were also installed on Palestinian lands, and twenty-five segregated roads were paved or prepared, leading to illegal colonies and outposts in the West Bank, were paved or prepared.

All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.

Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory”.

Israeli Occupation Soldiers Injure Dozens of Palestinians at Weekly Kufur Qaddoum Rally

 IMEMC, DEC 31, 2021

Israeli occupation forces attacked, on Friday, demonstrators at the weekly non-violent march in Kufur Qaddoum village, east of Qalqilia in the northern occupied West Bank, injuring dozens, including a child, according to local sources.

Morad Eshteiwi, the coordinator of the Popular Committee against the Annexation Wall & Colonies in the region stated that Israeli forces shot 5 protestors, including a child, with rubber-coated steel rounds.

A fourteen-year-old child, identified as Moamen Murad Shteiwi, was shot in the abdomen with a rubber-coated steel round, he was transferred to the Darwish Nazzal Hospital in Qalqilia for medical intervention, the other 4 were treated on site.

Additionally, soldiers fired live rounds and tear gas canisters at the crowd, causing dozens to suffer the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation, all suffocation cases were treated at the scene by local medics.

Palestinian youths confronted the soldiers by using slingshots to throw stones and tear gas canisters back towards the fully armed attacking army.

Furthermore, this week’s rally coincided with the 57th anniversary of the establishment of the Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fatah).

Every week since 2003, when the occupation authorities closed the main road of Kufur Qaddoum town, Palestinian citizens from Kufur Qaddoum and surrounding villages have rallied, demanding the authorities reopen the road.

Israeli colonists from the nearby illegal Kedumin settlement, established on expropriated Palestinian lands, have full access to the street, while Palestinians are forced to take longer routes to Nablus city, the nearest major commercial center, prolonging travel time, causing undue hardship.
