While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of David, Solomon, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Israeli Killings of Palestinians

Israeli Occupation Regime Police Kill Palestinian in Kafr Qasim

 DEC 23, 2022

The Israeli occupation regime police reported on Friday that its officers shot a Palestinian man, Naim Mahmoud Theeb Bedir, 23, before dawn on Friday, in Kafr Qasim in the Southern Triangle area (inside the undeclared borders of what is now Israel), claiming that he was trying to carry out a ramming attack against the police.

The man’s family rejected the Israeli narrative, saying, “The Israeli police killed our son Naim Mahmoud Bedir, 23, in cold blood, and the police story that he tried to attack them is false.”

The family told reporters, “The Israeli police, after killing our son Naim in cold blood, stormed our home and ransacked all our belongings in front of the children, who were screaming and crying, terrified as the soldiers destroyed our home.”

During the home invasion, the Israeli police abducted several of Naim’s family members to bring them back to the police station for questioning. Israeli forces are known for their torture techniques, which they call ‘enhanced interrogation’.

The police claimed that Badir called the police, saying that a violent incident had occurred, but that when the police arrived, he ran towards them with a weapon, and then got into his car and drove toward the police, mildly injuring two.

The police further claimed that two of its members were slightly injured and were subsequently transferred to Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva. The police spokesperson said that the district commander then arrived at the site and conducted a field assessment of the situation.

The police then deployed dozens of its members in the village of Kafr Qasim, and sent reinforcements, including members of the special units, and turned the city into a military base, according to local sources.

According to the Israeli police, a search of the building near where Badir was killed turned up “a weapon, ammunition, Molotov cocktails, and a knife.” But there is no evidence that Badir was in that building.

A video clip taken from the scene shows a number of Israeli police officers shooting live rounds into a Palestinian vehicle as it is moving backward.

The police said that it dealt with the incident in Kafr Qasim as a “hostile sabotage operation,” noting that after the attack, the police conducted searches for other suspects.

Israeli Occupation Regime Soldiers Kill One Palestinian, Injure Thirty-Seven, In Nablus

 DEC 22, 2022

On Thursday dawn, Israeli occupation regime soldiers killed a young Palestinian man and injured thirty-seven, including three who suffered life-threatening wounds, after dozens of army jeeps invaded the eastern area of Nablus city in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

The invasion led to protests before the army fired a barrage of live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.

Medical sources said the soldiers killed a young man, Ahmad Atef Mustafa Daraghma, 23, from Tubas in the northeastern West Bank, after shooting him with two live rounds in the back and one in the leg.

Ahmad was an athlete and a known soccer player with the Thaqafi Club in Tulkarem, in the northern part of the West Bank.

They added that the soldiers also shot six Palestinians with live fire, including three who suffered life-threatening wounds and three who were injured by shrapnel, and two who were shot with rubber-coated steel bullets in the eye and the arm, in addition to at least 29 who suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation.

Media sources in Nablus said dozens of armored military vehicles, including one bulldozer, invaded the city’s eastern area to accompany illegal Israeli colonizers into Joseph Tomb and closed many streets, leading to massive protests.

Also, the Lion’s Den resistance group said in a brief statement that its fighters exchanged fire with the invading Israeli soldiers and hurled pipe bombs at their vehicles.

Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh denounced Daraghma’s killing and called on FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) to condemn Israel for killing Palestinian athletes.

Shtayyeh also called on the international community and human rights groups to intervene and help end the illegal Israeli occupation and its ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people and to prosecute Israel for its war crime.

It is worth mentioning that the army frequently invades the eastern area of Nablus to accompany the colonists into the Joseph’s Tomb historic site, an issue that leads to protests, in addition to the ongoing invasions of homes and the abduction of many Palestinians.

Joseph, the patriarch, is revered by Jews, Muslims, Christians, and Samaritans alike; however, the Israeli military allows Jews to visit as part of organized pilgrimages, despite the site being in Area A, where the PA has full control and prohibits Muslims from worshiping at the site.

Ultra-orthodox and nationalist Jews regularly try to visit the shrine without approval, as many Jews believe the tomb to be the final resting place of the biblical figure in the Old Testament.

Palestinians believe Joseph’s Tomb is the funerary monument to Shaikh Yousuf Dwaikat, a local religious figure.

Young Man Dies From Serious Wounds Suffered In Jenin

 DEC 19, 2022

On Monday, the Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed that a young Palestinian man succumbed to the serious wound he had suffered a week earlier after several Israeli occupation regime military vehicles invaded Jenin, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

The Health Ministry said the young man, Tamer Azmin Aref Nashrati, 23, from the Jenin refugee camp in Jenin city in the northern West Bank, died from his wounds at the Istishari hospital in Ramallah.

Various Palestinian factions vowed to continue the path of resistance until liberation and independence.

Hundreds of Palestinians participated in his funeral procession and ceremony in Jenin and marched carrying his body, calling for ongoing resistance, steadfastness, and unity.

The Jenin Brigade of the Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad, said Samer was one of its members.

Media sources said Tamer was seriously injured when an explosive charge he was preparing detonated while he was handling it as several armored Israeli military vehicles invaded Jenin and Jenin refugee camp.

Israeli Occupation Regime refuses to return body of veteran prisoner who died in custody

 DEC 21, 2022

Wednesday, December 21, 2022 (WAFA) –

Israeli “Defense” Minister Benny Gantz Wednesday morning decided not to return the body of a veteran prisoner who died in Israeli custody to his family.

Israeli media reported that Gantz decided not to release the body of Nasser Abu Humaid to his family, citing an assessment and a “previous security cabinet ruling” that allows the Israeli occupation regime to withhold the bodies of Palestinian prisoners who die in imprisonment and those who are believed to have committed attacks for a potential prisoner exchange.

50-year-old Abu Humaid died on Tuesday morning at the Assaf Harofeh Israeli hospital near Tel Aviv despite longstanding calls to release him due to the Israeli policy of deliberate medical negligence and slow killing following his late diagnosis with cancer more than a year ago.

He was transferred in a sudden manner on Monday afternoon from the Ramla prison clinic to the hospital after his health seriously deteriorated and he slipped into a coma.

Abu Humaid’s family decided not to receive condolences from mourners unless after his body is released for burial.

A general strike was observed on Tuesday, with stores, schools, and businesses shut across the occupied West Bank to mourn Abu Hmeid’s death.

President Mahmoud Abbas said in a statement that Abu Humaid died “as a result of the policy of deliberate medical negligence” and held the Israeli occupation authorities responsible.

Abu Humaid was diagnosed with an advanced stage of lung cancer in August 2021 after Israeli authorities delayed the provision of medical examinations and treatment, according to Palestinian prisoner rights groups.

In a statement on Monday, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) said Israeli authorities “did not consider our requests for the release of the prisoner because of his difficult health condition.”

The PPS that 233 Palestinian prisoners have died in Israeli custody since the start of the Israeli occupation of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip in June 1967, including 74 who died due to medical negligence. The occupation authorities still withhold the bodies of 11 prisoners.

According to the latest figures from Addhameer, the Palestinian Prisoner Support, and Human Rights Association, there are currently 4,700 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons and detention centers, including 150 children and 34 female prisoners. 600 prisoners suffer from diseases and require urgent medical care and treatment, including 24 prisoners who suffer from cancer and tumors of various degrees.

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned Israel’s decision to withhold Abu Hmeid’s body, describing it as “persistence in its crime against him and a flagrant assault on the feelings of his mother, family, relatives, and millions of Palestinians.”

It said that with this act, “Israel flouts international law, international legitimacy and all humanitarian and divine values and principles, as a form of internationally prohibited collective punishment.”

Illegal Israeli Settler Kills Two Palestinian Siblings After Ramming Them With His Car

 DEC 18, 2022

On Saturday evening, two Palestinian siblings were killed after a speeding illegal Israeli colonizer rammed them with his car near the Za’tara Israeli occupation regime military roadblock south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus and fled the scene.

The Palestinian News & Info Agency ((WAFA) said the two siblings, Mohammad Yousuf Mutair, 37, and his brother Mohannad, 19, were with their families heading back to Qalandia after shopping in Nablus to prepare for their niece’s wedding, and their sister’s engagement, both planned to be held two weeks from now.

WAFA quoted their brother, Ahmad, stating that he headed along with his four brothers to Nablus, and on their way back home, their car had a flat tire and had to park on the side of the road to fix it before the speeding colonizer rammed them with his car and sped away.

He added that the area where they parked was open, away from traffic, and visible to incoming vehicles, but the colonizer, contrary to Israeli army allegations, deliberately went out of his way to ram them with his speeding car before fleeing the scene.

Ahmad stated that he and his two other brothers narrowly escaped the incident unharmed, but Mohammad and Mohannad were directly struck by the colonizer’s car.

“I saw what happened; it wasn’t a traffic accident, Ahmad added, “the colonizer saw us, went out of his way to ram us with his car, and sped away…” he said.

Their cousin, Emad Mteir, said Mohammad was instantly killed after the colonizer rammed him with his car, and his body was moved to a hospital in Nablus, while Mohannad succumbed to his serious wounds at an Israeli medical center. Three other family members were injured.

The corpses of the two slain siblings were moved to Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah before a Palestinian ambulance took them to their homes in Qalandia refugee camp, north of Jerusalem, and later, hundreds of Palestinians participated in their funeral ceremonies and burial procession.

Israeli Occupation Regime Army Transfers Bodies Of Two Slain Young Men To Palestinians

 DEC 17, 2022

On Friday evening, the Israeli occupation regime soldiers transferred the bodies of two young men, killled by the soldiers on October 3rd, to their families in Ramallah, in the central part of the occupied West Bank.

The General Authority for Civilian affairs in Ramallah said its medics received the corpses of Salama Ra’fat Sharay’a, 19, from Birzeit, and Khalid Anbar Dabbas, 19, from Jifna town.

It added that the two slain young men’s official funeral and burial ceremonies would be held Saturday in coordination with their families.

Israeli soldiers killed the two young men on October 3rd near the Al-Jalazoun refugee camp, north of Ramallah, and refused to allow their transfer to Palestinian medics.

The soldiers also shot and seriously injured a third Palestinian and detained him before releasing him to a Palestinian hospital.

After killing the two young men, the Israeli army claimed it invaded the area “to arrest wanted Palestinians when a car came at them at high speed before the soldiers opened fire at it, killing two and wounding one.”

The army claimed that Palestinians tried to carry out a ramming attack against the soldiers; however, eyewitnesses denied the allegations and said the Palestinians driving the car were surprised by the soldiers invading the area before the army fired several live rounds at them.

The family of Mohammad Al-Ja’bari, 35, hired a lawyer to file a petition against a military order for demolishing their five-story home, but the court denied their appeal and granted the army a green light for the demolition.

The home provides shelter for Mohammad’s parents, his brothers, and their families, who will all be rendered homeless.

Mohammad Kamel Al-Ja’bari was killed on October 29, 2022, in a shooting attack that also resulted in the death of an Israeli colonizer, Ronen Hananya, 50, near the Kiryat Arba illegal colony in Hebron city.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said its medics rushed to the area to provide essential aid to Mohammad, but the soldiers fired many live rounds at their ambulance, wounding a medic, Ahmad Abu Khaled, who was shot with a live round in the shoulder, and causing damage to the ambulance.

Israel’s illegal home demolition policy falls within the collective punishment policy against Palestinian civilians, protected by the Israeli judicial system.

This policy is internationally prohibited; according to Article 33 of the Fourth Geneva Convention, which states: “No protected person may be punished for an offense he or she has not personally committed. Collective penalties and, likewise, all measures of intimidation or of terrorism are prohibited. Pillage is prohibited. Reprisals against protected persons and their property are prohibited.”

Illegal Israeli Settlers Burn Cars, Attack Homes, Near Nablus

 DEC 27, 2022

Illegal Israeli settlers burnt overnight Palestinian cars and attacked homes near Nablus, in the northern West Bank.

The colonizers infiltrated Burin village, southwest of Nablus, burnt two Palestinian cars, and attacked homes, causing damage.

The colonizers also infiltrated Orif village, south of Nablus, caused damage to the windows of several homes, and burnt one Palestinian car.

Israeli sources said, according to initial investigation by the police, the groups of colonizers behind the attacks are part of what is known as the “Price Tag” groups, holding the families responsible for protests or attacks targeting the illegal colonies.

The Israeli police claimed it went to Burin and Huwwara, under Israeli security control, and initiated “an investigation.”

Past so-called “investigations” by the army and police in similar attacks and violations by the paramilitary colonizers always came to nothing and did not result in arrests.

As if the heavy rain was not enough, the Israel occupation regime opens rainwater ducts to flood Gaza towns, destroy lands

 DEC 27, 2022

GAZA, Monday, December 26, 2022 (WAFA) –

As if the heavy rain that flooded most of the Gaza Strip with rainwater over the past two days was not enough, the Israeli occupation authorities today contributed to the flooding of Gaza towns and destruction of agricultural land east of the cities of Khan Yunis and Dair al-Balah, in the south and center of the Gaza Strip, by opening the ducts in the dams located on the Israeli side of the border fence.

WAFA correspondent said Israel flooded dozens of homes and hundreds of dunums of agricultural lands after opening the ducts to release the collected rainwater towards the low areas in the cities and towns in the besieged Gaza Strip, which led to huge material losses in property.

Two days ago, the occupation forces also opened rain the ducts east of the city of Deir al-Balah, which led to the flooding of dozens of homes and agricultural lands, exacerbating the suffering of Gazans, especially in light of the heavy rain that fell on the Gaza Strip since Saturday.

Israeli Occupation Regime Opens Levees, Floods Homes, And Agricultural Lands East Of Gaza

 DEC 25, 2022

Late on Saturday night, the Israeli occupation regime army opened levees along the perimeter fence east of Gaza, causing accumulating heavy rainwater to flood homes and agricultural lands in Gaza.

Media sources said the army opened the levees toward agricultural lands near the fence, east of Gaza city, and east of the central area of the coastal region.

The water flooded many homes in neighborhoods east of Gaza city, Dair Al-Balah, Al-Boreij, and Al-Zawaida in the Central District.

The army also opened levies east of Khan Younis in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, causing significant losses to the farmers’ lands, sheds, and homes.

The locals, along with Civil Defense teams and workers of local municipalities, rushed to the flooded areas to help the families, and continue to monitor their conditions, especially amidst the heavy rainfall.

The WAFA Palestinian News Agency said the flooding in the Central District caused the destruction of huts and sheds and flooded the street on the Al-Aqsa Hospital.

Every year when the rainfall intensifies in the area, the Israeli army opens the levees leading to the Palestinian lands to ensure Israel’s illegal colonies across the perimeter fence do not suffer any flooding or gathering of water from the rain.

While Israel’s colonies and communities have advanced infrastructure, the Israeli army chooses to open the levees to flood lands and homes in the eastern parts of the besieged and impoverished coastal region.

Illegal Israeli Settlers Burn Cars, Damage Homes in Nablus Area

 DEC 27, 2022

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers tore through Palestinian areas on Monday, setting fire to vehicles, smashing the windows of family homes, and writing graffiti identifying themselves as part of a right-wing hate group called ‘Price Tag’.

This is just the latest in a series of attacks by these known gangs targeting Palestinian civilians. However, Israeli police and military forces, which govern Palestinian areas in the West Bank using martial law, refuse to investigate or find out the perpetrators of these ongoing attacks.

The group calls itself ‘Price Tag’ in a reference to Palestinians, saying that Palestinians must “pay a price” for their refusal to leave their ancestral homes so that Israeli colonizers can move in.

The settlers set fire to two Palestinian cars in the village of Burin, and set fire to one car in the village of Orif, south of Nablus. In addition, they smashed the windows of Palestinian homes.

According to the Israeli police, “During the night, our hotline received a report that several cars were damaged in the West Bank.” Israeli military officials claimed that they started an investigation into the incident – but Palestinians that live in the area report that these attacks are frequent, unprovoked, and past claims of ‘investigation’ by police and military officials always came to nothing.

Israeli Occupation Regime Army Demolishes Two Palestinian Homes Near Jericho

 DEC 19, 2022

On Monday, Israeli occupation regime soldiers invaded the Al-Matar area in Jericho city, in the northeastern West Bank, demolished two homes, and handed demolition orders targeting thirteen homes.

Media sources said the soldiers demolished a two-story home, each level 220 square meters, owned by Amer Quraishi.

The soldiers also demolished another home, owned by Amjad Adel Idrees, in the same area as the first demolished home.

Furthermore, the soldiers handed demolition orders targeting thirteen homes in the Al-Matar area and delivered warnings to 67 homes, ordering the Palestinians to file all needed documentation with the “Civil Administration Office,” the administrative branch of the illegal occupation.

In Tubas, in the northeastern West Bank, the soldiers photographed several structures and dirt roads in the Al-Ras Al-Ahmar village, an issue that raised fears among the locals of impending demolition.
