2 Escaped Palestinian Political Prisoners Turn themselves in, Scores of Palestinians Injured and Abducted by Israeli Occupation Regime Soldiers September 20, 2021 Editor's Note: While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of David, Solomon, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. The following news stories are just examples of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis. Israeli Occupation Soldiers IMEMC, April 4, 2021 Israeli occupation soldiers *** Israeli Occupation Troops Capture Last Two of Six Escaped Palestinian Political Prisoners SEP 19, 2021 The last two of the six Palestinian political prisoners who escaped last week from Gilboa Prison were captured Saturday in Eastern Neighborhood in Jenin city, in the northern part of the West Bank. Ayham Kamamji and Munadel Enfei’at turned themselves in when Israeli occupation forces invaded Jenin and surrounded the building they were staying in. Ayham’s father, Fuad Kamanji, stated that his son phoned him from the home where he was seeking shelter, and told him that the soldiers are surrounding the property and that he intends to peacefully surrender to avoid giving the soldiers the change to harm the family. The father stated that the soldiers frequently invaded his homes and the homes of many relatives since his son was able to escape from Gilboa’ prison, and added that he was also repeatedly interrogated at the nearby Salem military base. The two detainees had remained at large for nearly two weeks after escaping with four other prisoners from Gilboa Prison in northern Israel. The other four: Zakaria Zubeidi, Mahmoud Ardah, Mohammed Qadri and Mohammed Ardah, were captured last Saturday before dawn near Nazareth in central Israel. The four were badly beaten by the Israeli soldiers during their capture. They were forced to endure multiple days of interrogation, and were tortured with electric shocks, sleep deprivation, and numerous beatings to the face and head. Three days after their capture, when they were finally allowed access to their lawyers, two of the men were immediately taken to the hospital with severe injuries sustained during the interrogation. The Israeli military launched a massive invasion of Jenin on Saturday night, after receiving a tip from an unknown source that the two men were in the city. When the Israeli military invaded Jenin, they were met by armed Palestinian resistance fighters, as well as teenagers who threw stones at the invading army. One Palestinian was shot by Israeli forces and taken to the hospital. None of the invading Israeli soldiers were injured. According to the Israeli military, the men’s location was found by the Shin Bet Israeli intelligence service. Two of the Captured Detainees Report Torture, one Hospitalized SEP 16, 2021 Lawyers for two of the Palestinian prisoners who managed to escape Israeli occupation prison on September 6, on Wednesday, confirmed that the escapees have suffered torture at the hands of the Israeli forces, the Associated Press (AP) has revealed. For the first time, since they were captured, on September 11, lawyers were permitted to interview two of the detainees. Attorney with the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) Raslan Mahajna, met with political prisoner Mahmoud al-‘Arda, one of the six Palestinians who escaped from Israeli prison, who informed him of the harsh details of interrogation and the systematic denial of basic human needs. Israeli human rights lawyer, Avigdor Feldman, told AP that his client, Zakariyya Zobeidi, said that security forces handcuffed him, asked him his name, and when he stated “Zakariyya”, they proceeded to brutally assault him, causing him two rib fractures and a fractured jaw. Feldman added; “They didn’t have any intention to commit any kind of terrorist attack.” On September 12, one day after his capture, the health condition of Zobeidi, 46, deteriorated, so he was transferred to Rambam Medical Center in Haifa for medical treatment, according to Hasan Abed Rabbo, the spokesperson for the Palestinian Detainees Affairs Commission. Attorney Mahajna Meets Mahmoud Al-‘Arda, Listens To Horrific Details Of Torture SEP 15, 2021 Attorney Raslan Mahajna of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) managed to meet with detainee Mahmoud al-‘Arda, one of the Palestinian political prisoners who managed to escape from Gilboa’ Israeli occupation prison, before he was captured by the Israeli army, who informed him of horrific details of torture and abuse, including continuous interrogation and deprivation of sleep and food. The lawyer stated that Mahmoud has been under continuous interrogation, torture, and abuse, including denying him the right to sleep or eat. Mahmoud told the lawyer that, since the day of his capture more than five days ago, he remained deprived of even seeing the sunshine, and could barely sleep for a couple of hours at the time, due to continuous interrogation, torture, and bad conditions in the cell. Al-‘Arda stated that he was the one responsible for the escape, including the planning which started in December 2020, and added that they did not receive any help from anyone in the prison or on the outside. “We all walked together until we reached an-Na’ura village, and entered a mosque to rest before we decided to leave in various directions, each group only containing two of us, he said, “We tried to enter the West Bank but could not do so due to extensive Israeli military presence. Our capture was merely accidental, nobody informed on us, and after our capture, we were interrogated for more than seven hours, each day.” Mahajna stated that, during his five days on the run, Mahmoud was unable to even get some water to drink, and that he, for the first time since he was first taken prisoner 22 years ago, was able to eat cactus from a field, and how much this meant to him. He added that the Israeli soldiers and the police who were searching for him and the other escaped detainees came close to capturing them all, and eventually managed to locate him and Zakariyya Zobeidi when the police started looking under a truck during a routine inspection. During his meeting with the lawyer, Mahmoud said that he rejects all charges against him, and remains silent despite the torture and the solitary confinement. The lawyer quoted Mahmoud stating; “After we managed to escape, Zakariyya and I remained together, and we were unable to even find some water to drink for five days, and for the first time since I was taken prisoner 22 years ago, I was able to eat cactus from a field.” Mahmoud also stated that he was repeatedly assaulted by the Israeli soldiers who located them, and added that he was stripped of all his clothes for several hours before he was sent to the al-Jalama interrogation facility where he was subject to intense interrogation, including torture, sleep deprivation, and was not given food or water for several days. He added that Israeli soldiers of the Prison Service also repeatedly assaulted and beaten Zakariya Zobeidi before he was later moved to a hospital. Al-‘Arda also said that he and the other escaped detainees tried their best not to enter Palestinian cities in historic Palestine to avoid giving Israel the opportunity to punish the Palestinians or harm them. It is worth mentioning that the lawyer visited with Mahmoud in a room where they were separated by a fortified glass barrier, and said that the detainee was exhausted, and in pain, due to the constant interrogation and torture he was subjected to. One of the last things Mahmoud told his lawyer before the meeting was concluded was that the short period he was free after escaping from prison was the first time in his life that he was able to walk around and see historic Palestine, and added that he intends to write about the experience when possible. Mahajna added that Mahmoud asked him whether their escape reached the media and its news spread around the world, and when he confirmed these facts to him, the detainee expressed satisfaction that their cause became international, and raised awareness on the hardships and the suffering of the detainees, and thanked everyone around the world for their solidarity. Mahmoud also told the lawyer that he was touched and happy to see the large crowds of Palestinians who gathered in front of the court in Nazareth and chanted for him, and thanked everybody for their solidarity. It is worth mentioning that the International Red Cross stated that it is conducting all needed efforts to be able to visit with the captured detainees. Yahia Maswada, the spokesperson of the International Red Cross in Palestine, said the Red Cross understands the anxiety and the worry of the families of the recaptured detainees, and that it is doing all whatever it can to visit with the four detainees, including Zakariyya Zobeidi, especially amidst news about his injuries and torture. Maswada added that Israel hasn’t yet allowed anybody, including lawyers, to visit with Zobeidi, and affirmed that international Humanitarian Law forbids inhumane treatment against the detainees, including torture. *** Israeli Occupation Soldiers Abduct Four Palestinians In Tulkarem SEP 20, 2021 Israeli occupation soldiers abducted, Monday, four young Palestinian men from their homes in the Shweika area, and Anabta town, in Tulkarem, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
