Israeli Occupation Apartheid Regime Forces Kill a Palestinian Child, Injure and Abduct Scores, Continue Home Demolition

July 27, 2021

Editor's Note:

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of David, Solomon, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

The following news stories are just examples of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

 JUL 27, 2021

Israeli soldiers injured, on Tuesday at dawn, five Palestinians, including a journalist, in Nablus city, in northern West Bank, after the army accompanied dozens of colonialist settlers into Joseph’s Tomb, east of the city.

Media sources said several army jeeps accompanied a few buses loaded with Israeli colonizers into the area, leading to protests.

They added that the soldiers fired several live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs at the protesters.

Medical sources said the soldiers shot five young men, including a journalist identified as Abdullah Bahsh, with rubber-coated steel bullets.

Medics provided the wounded Palestinians with the needed treatment and moved the journalist to a local hospital after suffering moderate injuries.

The Israeli army frequently invades the eastern area of Nablus to accompany the colonists into the historic site, an issue that leads to protests, in addition to the ongoing invasions of homes and the abduction of many Palestinians.

Jews, Muslims, Christians, and Samaritans revere Joseph the patriarch alike, however, the Israeli military allows Jews to visit as part of organized pilgrimages, despite the site being in Area A where the PA has full control and prohibits Muslims from worshiping at the site.

Ultra-orthodox and nationalist Jews constantly try to visit the shrine without approval, as many Jews believe the tomb to be the final resting place of the biblical figure in the Old Testament.

Palestinians believe that Joseph’s Tomb is the funerary monument to Sheikh Yousef Dweikat, a local religious figure.

Furthermore, several Israeli army jeeps invaded, on Tuesday at dawn, Jenin city in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, shot a young Palestinian man and abducted two.

In related news, the soldiers abducted a young man from his home in Beit Fajjar town, south of Bethlehem, south of occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank.

Tamimi was shot when many soldiers invaded the village, and fired many live rounds, in addition to rubber-coated steel bullets and gas bombs at Palestinians who protested the invasion.

The construction of the new outpost came only one day after the colonizers installed a fence around the water spring and prevented the Palestinian shepherds from reaching it.

A month ago, the colonists occupied the Palestinian water spring, and built a small park for themselves, and even planted some trees around it.

Media sources said the military vehicles, including armored bulldozers, came from the Kissufim military base across the perimeter fence and advanced dozens of meters into the farmlands.

They added that the soldiers bulldozed large sections close to the fence, and installed sand hills while firing sporadic rounds of live ammunition in addition to smoke bombs.

The army frequently invades Palestinian lands, especially near the fence, and bulldozes them to prevent the Palestinians from using them.

The attacks are part of frequent Israeli violations against the Palestinians, especially the fishermenfarmersshepherds, and workers in the besieged and impoverished Gaza Strip, and have led to dozens of casualties, including fatalities, in addition to serious property damage and the confiscation of many boats after abducting the fishermen.

It stated that the renewed airstrikes are the fifth incident where Israel breached the May 21, 2021 Egypt brokered ceasefire between the occupation state and the various resistance factions in the Gaza Strip.

It added that Israeli warplanes struck agricultural land and two other sites in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

No injuries were reported.

In related news, a faction of the Palestinian resistance, on Sunday night, shot an Israeli drone (quadcopter) out of the sky as it flew over the southern Gaza Strip, QNN reported.

The resistance managed to shoot down the occupation drone and seize it when it fell to the ground in Khuza’a in Khan Younis, in southern Gaza.

The Gaza Strip is home to more than two million Palestinians, living under a brutal Israeli blockade, since 2007, which has caused an ongoing humanitarian catastrophe.

Israeli Colonists Fence A Spring To Prevent Shepherds From Using it

 JUL 25, 2021

On Sunday, Israeli colonialist settlers, illegally squatting on Palestinian lands, installed a fence around a water spring in the Northern Plains of the occupied West Bank, before preventing the shepherds from using it.

Aref Daraghma, a human rights activist, said the colonists installed a fence to isolate the Ein al-Hilwa water spring and prevented the shepherds from entering the area.

The spring is used by dozens of Palestinian shepherds and their herd, but the colonists have been trying to prevent them from reaching it because they just want it for themselves.

It is worth mentioning that the area witnesses repeated assaults and violations by the colonists who attack the Palestinians and their sheep, in addition to denying them access to the needed water resources.

WAFA: “Settlers rebuild abandoned outpost near Hebron”

 JUL 25, 2021

HEBRON, Sunday, July 25, 2021 (WAFA) – Illegal Israeli settlers embarked today on rebuilding a colonial settlement outpost that was evacuated two months ago near the town of Yatta, in the Hebron province in the south of the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

Rateb Jabour, the coordinator of the Anti-Settlement Commission in Hebron, told WAFA that a group of Israeli settlers broke into the site of the abandoned settlement outpost and embarked on installing residential facilities and caravans there.

Two months ago, Palestinian anti-colonization protesters removed the outpost and pressed the colonial Israeli settlers who had settled there to leave the site.

There are over 700,000 colonial Israeli settlers living in Jewish-only settlements across the West Bank in violation of international law, particularly the Fourth Geneva Convention which expressly bans the relocation of the occupying nation’s civilian population to the land of the occupied.

Palestinian Forced To Demolish His Home In Jerusalem

 JUL 25, 2021

The City Council in the occupied Palestinian capital, Jerusalem, forced a Palestinian to demolish his home in Jabal al-Mokabber, allegedly for being built without a permit.

The Palestinian, Ali Khalil Shqeirat, started removing his furniture and belongings from the property, before demolishing it using basic equipment.

It is worth mentioning that, several days ago, the soldiers invaded the property and handed the demolition order, and on Sunday, Ali received a phone call from the police demanding him to demolish the property immediately or else the city would demolish it using its equipment and workers, in addition to billing him and forcing him to pay excessively high fines and fees.

In related news, the soldiers invaded a home, owned by the Matar family, and ordered them to demolish their home within 21 days.

Matar said he build his home in 2011, and the city later ordered its demolition, in addition to imposing a 30.000 Shekels fine, before issuing the final demolition order just a few days ago.

While Israel continues to build and expand its illegal colonies, Palestinian communities and towns, in occupied Jerusalem, and various areas in the occupied West Bank, continue to be denied the right to build or expand homes and property.

Israel has been issuing hundreds of demolition orders against existing Palestinian homes and property, including under-construction structures, and has already demolished many of them.

This happens while Israel continues to build and expand its illegal, segregated colonies in the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem, in direct violation of International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions.

According to data by the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions (ICAHD), demolished 865 structures, displacing 1,014 people, and directly affecting 5,615 people. In addition to demolishing 2,586 buildings in the Negev, in the year 2020.

Morad Eshteiwi, the media spokesman for the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission in Qalqilia, stated that a large force of Israeli soldiers opened fire at the peaceful protestors with teargas, causing several Palestinian protestors to suffer inhalation injuries.

Eshteiwi told Anadolu Agency that the army fired live and rubber-coated steel rounds in addition to teargas at the crowd, no shooting injuries were reported, all the inhalation injuries were treated at the scene.

The residents of Kufur Qaddoum village and surrounding area have gathered fo several years to march in opposition to the closure of the main road at the entrance of the town, which the Israeli army closed in 2003.

Illegal Israeli colonists are granted full access to the road, while Palestinians are denied the same access, making travel much more difficult to reach Nablus City to the east.

Israel occupied Gaza and the West Bank including East Jerusalem in 1967, so all Israeli settlements, which have been built on Palestinian lands are illegal under international law.

Palestinians Hold Funeral Of Woman Who Was Killed By Israeli Soldiers On June 12th

 JUL 24, 2021

Hundreds of Palestinians held, Friday, the funeral procession of a woman who was killed by Israeli army fire on June 12th of this year, at the Qalandia Terminal, north of occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank.

The woman, identified as Ibtisam Ka’abna, 28, was shot by the soldiers and was left bleeding without any medical treatment until she succumbed to her wounds before the soldiers took her corpse away.

On Friday, her corpse was moved to the military roadblock at the southern entrance of Jericho before Palestinian medics took it to the governmental hospital in the city.

Her family and hundreds of residents held the prayers and funeral ceremony at the mosque in Aqbat Jaber refugee camp, in Jericho, before she was buried in the local graveyard.

Ibtisam was a former political prisoner and a mother of one child. On August 27th, 2015, she was abducted by the army and was later sentenced to 18 months in prison.

After shooting her, the Israeli army claimed that the woman “was yielding a knife”, while the “Times of Israel” alleged she “ran towards the soldiers while brandishing a knife.” No soldiers were hurt in the alleged attack.

Videos from the scene show the woman far away from any soldier when she was shot; the soldiers had the option to injure her at least, instead of delivering fatal shots and denying her medical treatment until she bled to death.

Update: “Soldiers Injure 320 Palestinians In Beita, Near Nablus”

 JUL 24, 2021

Medical sources have confirmed, Friday, that Israeli soldiers injured 320 Palestinians, including some who suffered life-threatening wounds, during protests in Sbeih Mountain in Beita town, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus.

Ahmad Jibril, the head of the Emergency Department at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) has reported that the soldiers shot 21 Palestinians with live fire, and added that some of the wounded suffered serious wounds.

He stated that the soldiers also shot a photojournalist, identified as Ayman Nubani, who works for the Palestinian News & Information Agency (WAFA), with a sponge-tipped bullet in the thigh.

He also said that the soldiers also shot 68 Palestinians with the rubber-coated steel bullets, in addition to causing 195 residents to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.

Eleven Palestinians suffered burns from the Israeli gas bombs and concussion grenades, and 25 sustained lacerations and bruises while the soldiers were chasing them.

Jibril also said that the soldiers opened fire at two Palestinian ambulances, causing damage.

Beita has been witnessing constant protests, and repeated Israeli military invasions and violations since the illegal Israeli colonizers occupied the top of Sbeih Mountain and installed an outpost they named “Avitar.”

Following ongoing protests, the colonists left the outpost on July 2nd, but it was not dismantled. During these protests, the soldiers killed five Palestinians and injured hundreds.

The outpost was installed in May of this year after the colonists kept trying to build a colony on the Palestinian lands five times in the last 30 years.

The Mountain, owned by the Palestinians, has significant strategic importance, especially since if it is occupied by the colonizers the colony would lead to the annexation of 20 Dunams of Palestinian lands, and would also lead to the isolation of a large area of Palestinian lands.

Updated From: Israeli Army Injures Four Palestinians, Including A Camerman, In Beita Jul 23, 2021, at 15:21

Beita has been witnessing ongoing protests over the past two months after the illegal Israeli colonialist settlers installed an outpost, they named Gival Avitar, on the top of Sbeih Mountain in early May.
