Scores of Palestinians Injured and Abducted, House Demolished by Israeli Occupation Soldiers

July 11, 2021

Editor's Note:

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of David, Solomon, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

The following news stories are just examples of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Israeli Occupation Soldiers Injure 51 Palestinians Near Nablus

 JUL 11, 2021

Israeli occupation soldiers injured, on Saturday evening, 51 Palestinians during protests in Beita and Qusra towns, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus.

Local sources said the soldiers attacked dozens of Palestinians who marched towards their lands while chanting against the ongoing illegal Israeli occupation, and the illegal confiscation of their lands for the benefit of Israel’s colonies.

They added that the soldiers fired many live rounds, in addition to rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades at the protesters.

Ahmad Jibril, the head of the Emergency and Ambulance Department at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) in Nablus, said 42 Palestinians suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation, and seven sustained cuts and bruises in Sbeih Mountain in Beita, in addition to two who suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation in Qusra.

It is worth mentioning that, on Friday, the soldiers injured 83 Palestinians in Sbeih Mountain, including eight who were shot with live rounds and ten with the rubber-coated steel bullets.

The Palestinians in Beita and surrounding villages have been holding ongoing protests for the last two months after the colonialist settlers occupied Sbeih Mountain and installed an outpost; the army killed several Palestinians and injured hundreds during these protests.

A week ago, the Israeli colonists left the outpost, which was illegally installed even under Israeli law, after reaching an agreement that would ensure the outpost itself remains intact under the supervision of the military.

Before leaving the illegal outpost, the colonists installed a 13-meter-high Star of David and a sign stating “we will return” next to it.

All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Humanitarian Law.

Israeli Occupation Army Injures Many Palestinians In Kufur Qaddoum

 JUL 10, 2021

Israeli occupation soldiers injured, on Friday and Saturday, many Palestinians in Kufur Qaddoum, east of the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia, during the weekly processions.

The Popular Committee in Kufur Qaddoum stated dozens of Palestinians marched from the center of the town, while chanting for liberation and independence, and calling for the removal of Israel’s illegal colonies.

It added that the soldiers attacked the protesters with a barrage of gas bombs, concussion grenades, and rubber-coated steel bullets, causing dozens to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.

The soldiers also stormed and ransacked many homes and occupied the rooftops of several buildings to use as firing posts and monitoring towers.

The protests came in condemnation of the seriously escalating Israeli violations against the Palestinian people, their homes, lands, and their holy sites, including the ongoing theft of Palestinian lands for the construction of the illegal colonies, in direct violation of International Law.

The protests in Kufur Qaddoum started eighteen years ago after the soldiers closed the main town’s road and barricaded it, to allow easy access for the colonists driving to and from the illegal Kedumim colony, which was built on stolen Palestinian lands.

Israeli Occupation Soldiers Injure 56 Palestinians Near Nablus

 JUL 9, 2021

Israeli soldiers injured, on Thursday evening, 56 Palestinians during protests in Qusra and Beita towns, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus.

Ahmad Jibril, the head of the Emergency Department at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) in Nablus, said the soldiers shot 18 Palestinians with the rubber-coated steel bullets, and caused 33 to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation, in addition to causing cuts and bruises to three Palestinians, and two who fell while the soldiers were chasing them.

Local sources said the Palestinians were holding a nonviolent procession demanding the army to transfer the corpse of Mohammad Farid Hasan, 21, back to his family.

It is worth mentioning that Mohammad was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers who also injured 25 Palestinians, on July 3, 2021, in the southern area of Qusra. The army took his corpse and never transferred it back to the family.

Illegal Israeli Settlers Destroy Main Power Line Near Nablus

 JUL 11, 2021

A group of fanatic illegal Israeli settlers, who are illegally squatting on Palestinian lands, cut and destroyed a main power line, on Saturday night after midnight, in the western part of Jaloud village, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus.

Media sources said the colonists used hand saws in cutting the wooden pole of a main powerline, disrupting the grid lines and causing damage after chopping it.

They added that the colonists are trying to cut the powerlines providing electricity to the Palestinians in Khirbet Sarah village, isolated between the illegal Shilu and Shvut Rachel colonies, which were installed on stolen Palestinian lands.

It is worth mentioning that, a month ago, the colonists destroyed the electricity network in the eastern area of Jaloud.

The attacks are part of a series of violations that targeted homes, and other property, in addition to burning farmlands, to force the Palestinians to leave.

Israel’s settlers in the occupied West Bank, including in and around occupied Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, various United Nations and Security Council resolutions, in addition to the Fourth Geneva Convention to which Israel is a signatory and a constant violator. They also constitute war crimes under International Humanitarian Law.

Israeli Occupation Army Abducts Three Palestinians In Gaza

 JUL 11, 2021

Israeli occupation soldiers abducted, on Saturday evening, three young Palestinian men after they reportedly breached the perimeter fence, in the southern part of the besieged and impoverished Gaza Strip.

The Israeli army claimed that the soldiers detained the three Palestinian and located knives that were carrying.

It added that the three Palestinians were moved to an interrogation facility run by the Internal Security Service.

It is worth mentioning that the Israeli army frequently invades and uproots Palestinian lands near the perimeter fence across the eastern parts of the coastal region.

The attacks are part of ongoing Israeli violations against the Palestinians, especially the fishermenfarmersshepherds, and workers in the besieged and impoverished Gaza Strip, and have led to dozens of casualties, including fatalities, in addition to serious property damage and the confiscation of many boats after abducting the fishermen.

 JUL 11, 2021

Rezeq Odeili, the mayor of Osarin, said the soldiers invaded the village and fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades at Palestinian youngsters who protested the invasion.

He added that the soldiers shot a young man, identified as Hazem Nabil Odeili, with a live round before the medics rushed him to a hospital. Many Palestinians suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation.

The soldiers also fired live rounds and high-velocity gas bombs at a Palestinian ambulance, shattering its windshield while the medics were rushing to provide aid to wounded Palestinians.

Israeli Occupation Soldiers Abduct Seven Palestinians From West Bank

 JUL 10, 2021

Friday, July 9, 2021 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces today detained seven Palestinians from various parts of the West Bank, according to local and security sources.

They confirmed that Israeli police rounded up three Palestinians from inside Israel. The detainees were identified as residents of the northern West Bank city of Jenin.

In Tulkarm district, Israeli occupation forces detained a mother along with her son after storming their house in the Thanaba neighborhood, east of the city.

In the southern West Bank, the sources confirmed a military raid in Sa‘ir town, northeast of Hebron, resulting in the detention of two brothers.

Israeli forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost on a daily basis across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

These raids, which take place also in areas under the full control of the Palestinian Authority, are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.

Under Israeli military law, army commanders have full executive, legislative and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.

Israeli Occupation Troops Attack Non-Violent Palestinian Protesters in Masafer Yatta

 JUL 9, 2021

As Palestinian residents of Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron in the southern West Bank, gathered Friday afternoon for a non-violent demonstration against the Israeli theft of their lands, Israeli occupation forces violently assaulted them with rubber-coated steel bullets, tear gas and batons.

The Palestinians had gathered for an outdoor prayer and vigil on the site of the land Israeli authorities are attempting to confiscate from its Palestinian owners.

According to local sources who were present at the event, the Israeli forces invaded the area when they saw the group of Palestinians gathered to pray.

The protesters were challenging the expansion of an Israeli colonial settlement – which has been widely condemned and is considered illegal under international law – on the land belonging to Palestinian owners from Masafer Yatta.

In addition, the protesters called for an end to the ongoing brutal assaults by Israeli colonial settlers on Palestinian villagers in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.

The coordinator of the Palestinian Popular Committees to Resist the Wall and Settlements for the area east of Yatta and south of Hebron, Rateb al-Jabour, told reporters that the occupation soldiers attacked the citizens participating in the sit-down protest, which had been called by the Fateh party in Yatta. The protest was also sponsored by the Palestinian Popular Committees to Resist the Wall and Settlements, and the Protection and Resilience Committee.

Israeli Occupation Army Invades A Mosque In Jenin, Stops Rehabilitation Work

 JUL 9, 2021

Israeli occupation soldiers invaded, Friday, a mosque near Jaba’ town, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, before preventing the Palestinians from praying in it, and stopped rehabilitation work that is ongoing in the holy site.

Razi Ghannam, the secretary of the Fateh movement in Jaba’, said the soldiers stormed the mosque and forced the Palestinians out, in addition to stopping the rehabilitation work that was being conducted in the holy site.

Ghannam added that the soldiers also fired many rubber-coated steel bullets and concussion grenades around the mosque, and near Jenin-Nablus Road, to force the Palestinians away.

It is worth mentioning that the mosque and its surrounding areas have been subject to escalating Israeli violations, including the repeated attempts by illegal colonists who are trying to occupy it.

Undercover Israeli Occupation Soldiers Kidnap Three Palestinians Near Ramallah

 JUL 9, 2021

Undercover Israeli occupation soldiers, kidnapped, on Thursday evening, three young Palestinian men in Birzeit town, north of the central West Bank city of Ramallah.

Eyewitnesses said the undercover soldiers ambushed a Palestinian car on the road between Birzeit and Jifna village, north of Ramallah, before kidnapping the three young men.

They added that one of the abducted Palestinians has been identified as Abdul-Rahman Jalis, from the al-Jalazoun refugee camp, north of Ramallah.

The undercover soldiers then forced the three Palestinians into their car and drove away before handing them to a regular army unit, before they were taken to an unknown destination.

Israeli Occupation Army Detonates A Palestinian Home Near Ramallah

 JUL 8, 2021

Israeli occupation soldiers detonated, on Thursday at dawn, the home of a Palestinian detainee who also holds American citizenship, in Turmus Ayya town, north of Ramallah, in central West Bank.

Local sources said dozens of soldiers and armored military vehicles invaded the town after isolating it and surrounded the home before forcing the family out, in addition to forcing the Palestinians who live nearby to leave their homes.

They added that the soldiers then wired the home and detonated it, leading to protests.

The home belongs to a wealthy Palestinian businessman who also holds American citizenship, identified as Montaser Shalabi; Israel claims that the detainee killed an Israeli settler near Za’tara military roadblock, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, nearly two months ago.

His wife said the destruction of the property is a serious violation of basic rights and added that the family will rebuild the property.

“We are not the first to have this done to us; this is all part of Israel’s illegal policies of collective punishment, and ongoing violations,” she added, “We will rebuild, and we will remain steadfast.”

The Israeli Intelligence Service Shin Bet has claimed that Muntaser Shalabi, 44, fired a gun ten times from a vehicle, a silver SUV, then fled the scene. They claim to have located him hiding in a building in the town of Silwad, near Ramallah, and that he was suffering from a gunshot wound in the leg when he was found.

Israeli TV Channel 13 said Israel previously delayed the demolition of the home to avoid tension with the US Administration because Shalabi is an American citizen and a known businessman.

It is worth mentioning that Shalabi, 44, was abducted by the soldiers in Silwad town, east of Ramallah, on May 6th, before the army issued the demolition order.

The family filed an appeal with an Israeli court, but it was denied on June 23rd.

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) denounced the demolition and said it is part of Israel’s ongoing illegal collective punishment policies that violate International Law and various treaties and is considered a war crime against the civilian population.

It is worth mentioning that Israel demolished 31 Palestinian homes and structures, last month, in several parts of the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem, under various allegations, including “being built without permits.”
