Palestinian Killed, Scores Injured and Abducted, More Homes Demolished by Israeli Occupation Regime Soldiers December 22, 2021 Editor's Note: While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of David, Solomon, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. The following news stories are just examples of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis. Israeli Occupation Soldiers Kill Young Palestinian Man At Dothan Roadblock, Near Jenin DEC 21, 2021 Israeli occupation shot and killed, Tuesday, Abdul-Aziz Hikmat Mousa, 22, at Dothan military roadblock near Ya’bad town, southwest of Jenin in the northern West Bank. According to Jerusalem Post, the deceased allegedly fired shots at a military vehicle at the roadblock causing it to catch on fire. It alleged that, as he approached the roadblock, he rammed his car into the burning military vehicle before the soldiers opened fire on him causing his car to ignite as well. No injuries were reported among the soldiers. Firefighters arrived to put out the conflagration and found Mousa had passed away in his car and his corpse was burnt inside his car. Military roadblocks are historically extremely dangerous for Palestinians and are often the stage for extrajudicial killings under various allegations. The Israeli occupation army also prevented Palestinian ambulances from reaching the area, and installed many roadblocks around it, in addition to many villages and towns, south of Jenin. Abdul-Aziz was from Marka village, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin. “Even in the worst-case scenario of an intentional car-ramming, the Israeli officers who shot this unarmed civilian while he was trying to run in the opposite direction violated Israel’s own rules of engagement that stipulate using lethal force only and strictly when necessary to repel a direct threat to life,” reports Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor. His death came only 24 hours after the Israeli army granted its soldiers a green light to use live ammunition even against Palestinians who hurl stones, or Molotov cocktails at the army, even while they are retreating. After the soldiers killed Abdul-Aziz, hundreds of Palestinians marched towards his family’s home while chanting against the illegal Israeli occupation and calling on the International Community to hold Israel accountable for its crimes. On June 23, 2020, the soldiers killed Ahmad Mustafa Erekat, 26, at the “Container” military roadblock, northeast of Bethlehem, while he was preparing for his sister’s wedding that was scheduled to take place later that day. The soldiers claimed that Ahmad ‘tried to ram them with his car’ – a claim that his family says is beyond ridiculous. The head of Abu Dis Town Council, Ahmad Abu Hilal, said the soldiers shot Ahmad with multiple rounds and left him to bleed to death, before taking his corpse away. Abu Hilal added that Ahmad was driving to Bethlehem city to fetch his sisters and his mother from a hairdressing shop in Bethlehem, as the family was preparing for the wedding of one of his sisters, which was supposed to take place on the same day. He added that the family held the funeral ceremony with the participation of only 38 family members due to Israeli restrictions before he was buried at the al-Yousifiyya cemetery. The army prevented other Palestinians, including journalists, from attending the burial ceremony, after surrounding and isolating the entire area. It is worth mentioning that Dr. Hazem was killed by Israeli soldiers near Bab al-Majles (The Council Gate) in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem after the army claimed that he “attempted to stab a soldier.” Two Teens Shot by Israeli Occupation Forces, One Seriously, Near Ramallah DEC 20, 2021 Israeli occupation forces shot and injured, on Monday evening, two Palestinians, one seriously, in the central West Bank the village of al-Mazraa al-Gharbiyeh, northwest of Ramallah, according to Palestinian Security sources. He continued, “Continuing inaction and the international community’s turning a blind eye to what is happening in Palestine means giving the green light to the occupation, but more than that, it means partnering with it in this crime.” Al-Tamimi stressed, “This approach only pushes the Palestinians to adopt equivalent options to confront this crime and these armed gangs, which are protected by the cover of the occupation government, which threatens to deteriorate the situation on the ground.” Israeli Occupation Soldiers Abduct Two Palestinians, Including A Woman, In Ramallah And Jericho DEC 21, 2021 Israeli occupation soldiers abducted, Tuesday, two Palestinians, including a woman, in Ramallah and Jericho, in the occupied West Bank. WAFA correspondent in Jerusalem reported that the Israeli municipality of West Jerusalem handed – for the second time within four months – Mahmoud Salhia a decision to evict a piece of land on which the family’s two homes were built in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood under the pretext of “public interest” to establish a school there. The municipality gave the family until January 25 to implement the decision. Salhia told WAFA that his father bought the 6-dunum piece of land in 1967, adding that two years ago a decision was issued to seize the land under the pretext of public use. The two houses are inhabited by two families consisting of 12 members, including nine children. “We came here after we were expelled by Israel in 1948 from the town of Ein Karem,” said Salhia. Salhia pointed out that the occupation municipality offered him an extension for eight months to convince him to sign a paper according to which he would become a tenant of the house, but he refused. He noted that his steadfastness in his home has cost him about 600,000 (around $190,000) shekels between fines imposed on him by the occupation municipality, filing cases, and appointing lawyers. “I was displaced once and will not be displaced again, and I will not sign any paper presented by the occupation…I will not leave my house, where I have lived since 1988,” he stressed. More than 500 Palestinians living in 28 houses in the neighborhood are facing threats of forced expulsion at the hands of settlement associations backed by the Israeli apartheid regime and its judiciary system, which recently issued a decision to displace seven families. Israeli Occupation Regime Confiscates Palestinian Lands Near Bethlehem DEC 22, 2021 The Israeli occupation apartheid regime issued an order, Tuesday, illegally annexing privately-owned Palestinian lands in the al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank. Hasan Breijiyya, the head of Bethlehem’s office of the “Wall & Colonization Resistance Commission”, stated that the confiscated lands, approximately one dunam, are in the Ein Qassis area, in the western part of al-Khader. Breijiyya added that the army decided to confiscate the lands to install iron gates on an agricultural road leading to the illegal Sidi Boaz colonialist outpost which was built on stolen Palestinian lands. The official warned that the gate would block access to and isolate more than three hundred dunams of Palestinian lands, owned by various families, a move that usually precedes their illegal annexation. Ein al-Qassis has been subject to frequent and escalating violations, starting several years ago, after the soldiers closed the roads leading to it, and imposed severe restrictions on the farmers, in addition to repeatedly assaulting them. The Israeli occupation apartheid regime is trying to control and illegally annex the remaining lands in the area for the construction and expansion of its illegal colonies. Israeli occupation soldiers responded by firing tear gas canisters and concussion grenades at those who protested the destruction of the home, belonging to local resident, identified by Quds Press as Atef Jamil Youssef Al-Nais. The 1995 Oslo Accords split the occupied West Bank into three parts, Area A (18%) was to be strictly governed by the Palestinian National Authority, (PA) while Area B (22%) was to be governed by both the occupation authorities and the PA. Area C, which consists of 60% of the occupied West Bank is under the full administrative control of the Israeli occupation authorities.
