Israeli Occupation Apartheid Regime Air Raids on Gaza, Abduction of Palestinian Civilians and Demolition of their Homes

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of David, Solomon, and Solomon's son).

 After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

Hamas lauds resistance for responding to Israeli attacks on Gaza Short

The Hamas Movement has applauded the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip for its ability to impose equations on the Israeli occupation state and prevent it from changing the rules of engagement.

“As some people sought to undermine the Palestinian cause and make it absent through signing normalization agreements with the occupation at the White House, the resistance proved that the cause would remain alive and present, thanks to its people’s steadfastness on their land and their great sacrifices and thanks to its fighters’ heroism and vigor,” Hamas spokesman Hazem Qasem said in a press release on Wednesday.

“The brave resistance’s response today was aimed at fending off the Zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip and retaliating for the bombing of resistance sites,” spokesman Qasem pointed out.

Israeli warplanes at dawn Wednesday bombed several resistance posts in the Gaza Strip, which prompted the Palestinian resistance to retaliate by launching a volley of rockets towards Israeli areas.

Israeli warplanes at dawn Wednesday launched attacks on different areas of the Gaza Strip, prompting the Palestinian resistance to retaliate.

According to local sources, warplanes and a helicopter launched multiple airstrikes on a resistance post belonging to al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas in the northwest of Beit Lahia, north of Gaza.

Another spate of airstrikes also targeted two resistance sites in the west of Deir al-Balah (central Gaza) and in the west of Khan Yunis (southern Gaza).

No one was reportedly hurt in the aerial attacks, which only caused material damage to the bombed sites.

Soon later, the Palestinian resistance responded by firing a volley of rockets towards Israeli settlements around Gaza.

Palestinian Resistance Fires 2 Rockets into Israel, 5 Israelis Injured

The Palestinian resistance in the besieged Gaza Strip, Tuesday, launched rockets north towards Israel, in an expression of contempt for the normalisation agreements between Israel and 2 Arab states, Quds News Network reported.

Resistance factions in the Gaza Strip fired primitively made rockets towards Israeli cities of Asqalan and Asdood, where sirens were heard, amidst media reports of powerful explosions heard in the area.

Israel’s ‘Kan’ reported that a shopping complex in Ashdod was hit, while Israeli channel 2 reported that the ‘missiles’ caused one person to suffer a moderate injury, while others suffered mild injuries.

Other Israeli sources said that 5 Israelis were wounded, in an apparent failure of the Iron Dome missile defense system over.

The Israeli army announced, Tuesday evening, that it tracked two rockets, fired from the Gaza Strip, one was shot down by the Iron Dome missile defense system, while another landed in Ashdod, Shehab News Agency reported.

The Walla Al-Abry website reported that the total number of injured as a result of rockets fire is 13, including 1 moderate injury, 4 minor injuries, while 8 people were classified as ‘injured’ because they suffered from panic.

All casualties were transferred to Assuta Hospital for medical treatment.

Haaretz reported that two Israelis sustained injuries from glass debris in Ashdod, including a 62-year-old man who suffered moderate wounds, and another that was lightly wounded.

Mustafa Barghouti, leader of the Palestine National Initiative and a member of the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) Central Council, told Haaretz that the event in Washington was a mere performance meant to serve U.S. President Donald Trump and Netanyahu.

Palestinian Journalist Among Four Shot, Injured by Israeli Occupation Forces

The Israeli occupation soldiers attacked, Friday, unarmed Palestinians during the suppression of the 3 demonstrations held against Israel’s ongoing colonial ventures in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Information Center reported.

Kufur Qaddoum

Palestinian villagers sang patriotic slogans, and voiced their rejection of the many operations aimed at erasing the Palestinian cause.

Demonstrators held a mock funeral for the Arab League during this week’s march, expressing their condemnation of Arab countries at the most recent normalization agreements, made with the occupation state of Israel.

Locals from Kufur Qaddoum village, east of Qalqilia city, in the northern West Bank, said that a group of Israeli forces opened fire towards Palestinian youths who were throwing rocks and returning tear-gas canisters to the soldiers.

Four civilians, including a journalist who was covering the protest, were shot by Israeli troops, while dozens more suffered the toxic effects of tear-gas inhalation.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime closed the main road toward Nablus in 2002, and since 2003, local Palestinians have participated in weekly marches to show their opposition to the illegal colonies in the West Bank, and continue to demand that the Israeli authorities open the road.

  Hebron

In the southern occupied West Bank city of Hebron, several Palestinians choked from Israeli army fired tear-gas, during confrontations with Israeli soldiers in the Bab Al-Zawiya area in the city center.

The area has become the frontline of the battlefield, adjacent to Israeli military sites and illegal settlements.

Kifl Hares

In Kifl Hares, northwest of Salfit, in the northern West Bank, Palestinian protesters for the sixteenth week, gathered in rejection of Israel’s ongoing colonial expansion.

Israeli troops suppressed the weekly march, which was held after the Friday prayer, in front of the military gate, entering the town.

Local sources said that soldiers closed the military gate, preventing several people access to their lands.  

Israeli Occupation Soldiers Abduct Nine Palestinians In Jerusalem

Israeli occupation soldiers abducted, on Tuesday at dawn, at least nine young Palestinian men from their homes in occupied East Jerusalem. The army also invaded Sebastia, near Nablus, and Beit Sahour, near Bethlehem.

Many of the Israeli occupation army jeeps invaded the al-Isawiya town, in Jerusalem, before the soldiers stormed and ransacked many homes and abducted seven Palestinians.

Media sources said the Palestinians have been identified as Abdullah Abu Ryala, Akram Dari, Mohammad Aziz Obeid, Mohammad Khaled Mheisin, Mohammad Ma’moun Mheisin, Samir Tamimi, and Mohammad Abu Rajab, The soldiers also invaded the at-Tour town, in Jerusalem, searched homes before abducting Mohammad Naji Abu Jom’a and Mohammad Ali Abu Ghannam.

In related news, many army jeeps invaded the archeological area in Sebastia Palestinian town, northwest of the northern West Bank city of Nablus.

Many Palestinian youngsters hurled stones at the invading army jeeps, driving through their town, while the soldiers fired live rounds, gas bombs, and rubber-coated steel bullets.

Furthermore, the soldiers invaded homes and stores in Beit Sahour city, east of Bethlehem, before confiscating surveillance recordings and equipment.

Israeli Occupation Forces Detain Several Palestinians, Including a Teen in the West Bank

Israeli occupation forces, overnight Sunday, detained a number of Palestinian young men, including a high school student, in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Information Center reported.

Local sources said the Israeli army stormed Deir Sammit town, west of Hebron, in the southern West Bank, ransacked homes, and detained Mohamed al-Sharawneh, 36, after searching his home.

A young Palestinian resident of Dura town, in Hebron, identified as Khalil Assous, was also taken into custody by Israeli soldiers, as he was on his way to his workplace in Israel, he was transferred to Ofer prison.

Two young men were detained during Israeli army campaigns, namely Saleh al-Rifa’ei, 17, from Kafr Ein village southwest of Ramallah, in the central West Bank, and one in the northern Qalqilia district.

In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli police forces detained a young man from at-Tur neighborhood in the east of the Old City and an elderly man named Abdul-Rahim Barbar from his home in Silwan district.

Israeli occupation forces, overnight Saturday, detained Palestinian youths during search campaigns throughout the occupied West Bank, the PIC further reported.

Local sources said that Israeli soldiers detained a 21 year old Palestinian man from his home in Shuweika suburb in Tulkarem city, in the northern West Bank.

Two more young men, identified as Ali Hafiz and Nasrallah al-Shalabi, were detained from their homes in Attil town, north of Tulkarem.

In the northern West Bank district of Qalqilia, Israeli troops detained a Palestinian youth named Amjad al-Far, at a flying military roadblock, leading to the main city.

One additional Palestinian young man was taken into custody by the army at the main entrance to Marda town, in Salfit, also in the northern West Bank.

OCHA: Unlawful Demolitions in the West Bank Spike During Pandemic

The six month period from March 1 to August 31, 2020 saw the demolition or confiscation of 389 Palestinian-owned structures in the West Bank, on average, 65 per month, the highest average destruction rate in four years.

Early during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Israeli occupation apartheid regime indicated that they would restrain their longstanding policy of demolishing inhabited Palestinian homes. Sadly, demolitions during the period March-August 2020 left 442 Palestinians homeless, further exposing many to risks associated with the pandemic. In August alone, 205 people were displaced, more than in any other single month since January 2017.

Beyond homes, the targeted properties included water, hygiene or sanitation assets, and structures used for agriculture, among others, undermining the access of many to livelihoods and services. Moreover, 50 of the structures had been donated to Palestinians as humanitarian aid, and their destruction hit the most vulnerable of all, and undermined emergency operations.

Of specific concern is the Israeli authorities’ increased use of an expedited procedure (Order 1797) for the removal of structures as soon as 96 hours after delivering a notice, largely preventing owners from being heard before a judicial body.

When the Israeli authorities demolish, or force people to demolish, homes and sources of livelihood, they typically cite a lack of Israeli-issued building permits, which are almost impossible for Palestinians to obtain, due to the restrictive and discriminatory planning regime, and leaves them no venues for authorized construction.

The destruction of property in an occupied territory is prohibited under international humanitarian law, unless absolutely necessary for military operations.

Moreover, the demolition of essential structures during the time of the COVID-19 pandemic is particularly worrying as it further compounds the overall situation in the West Bank.

The global pandemic has increased the needs and vulnerabilities of Palestinians, who are already trapped in the abnormality of prolonged military occupation. Unlawful demolitions exacerbate these vulnerabilities and must stop immediately.
