Soldiers of the Israeli Occupation Apartheid Regime Launch Abduction and Home Demolition Campaign Against Palestinians, Injuring Many of them

November 18, 2020

Editor's Note:

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of David, Solomon, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

The following news stories are just examples of the Israeli occupation government violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Illegal Israeli Settlers, Soldiers Assault Palestinian Minor and his Father in Hebron

 IMEMC, NOV 18, 2020

Illegal Israeli settlers, Tuesday, assaulted a Palestinian child, and soldiers assaulted the boy’s father in the southern West Bank city of Hebron, Palestinian WAFA News reported.

Local activist, Imad Abu Shamsiyya, stated that a crowd of illegal colonists physically attacked a Palestinian minor, identified as Haytham Abu Aisha, 15, in the Tel Rumeida area in central Hebron, part of what is known as H2.

When the boy’s father, Tayseer, tried to protect his child, Israeli soldiers struck the man in the back.

According to Israeli human rights group B’Tselem;

Palestinians in H2 routinely endure violence, nightly military excursion into their homes, harassment, delays at checkpoints and various forms of degrading treatment.

“Violent conduct by settlers has also become routine in the area. Over the years, systematic abuse and harassment of Palestinians by settlers has become an established part of life in Hebron. As often as not, the abuse takes the form of severe violence. Documented instances include physical assault, stone-throwing, vandalism, theft, verbal abuse, as well as shootings.

Soldiers are to be found on every street corner wherever there are Israeli settlements. Nevertheless, they rarely intervene when settlers attack Palestinians. Even after the fact, the Israel Police hardly ever investigate settler assaults against Palestinians or their property – in spite of the many security cameras crisscrossing the city – and very seldom take action against the perpetrators. This is tantamount to the police backing the settlers’ acts of violence.”

 IMEMC, NOV 16, 2020

Israeli occupation forces, Saturday, shot and injured two Palestinian demonstrators at the weekly march in Kufur Qaddoum village, east of the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia, the Palestinian Information Center reported.

The main road of Kufur Qaddoum was closed off to Palestinians in 2003, forcing them to seek alternative routes, meanwhile illegal Israeli settlers have exclusive access.

Mother, Six Children, Displaced After Israeli Occupation Soldiers Demolished Their Home In Negev

 IMEMC, NOV 16, 2020

Israeli occupation soldiers, and personnel of the so-called “Negev Development Authority,” demolished a Palestinian home, Sunday, in Khirbat al-Watan Bedouin village in the Negev, rendering a mother and her six children homeless.

Media sources said the soldiers, including special forces and personnel of the Negev Development Authority, invaded the village and demolished the property, leaving the woman and her six children in the cold and the rain.

Khirbat al-Watan village, east of Tal as-Sabe’, and to the south of Hora village, is inhabited by Abu Kaf, Abu Raqeeq, al-Asla’, ash-Shanarna and as-Sayyed, and is one of the dozens of communities not recognized by Israel, and do not receive any services, including electricity, running water and infrastructure or health.

One of the Palestinian communities, the village of al-Arakib in the Negev, has been demolished by Israel at least 179 times.

Like the thirty-four other Bedouin villages “unrecognized” by Israel, al-Araqib does not receive any services from the Israeli government and is constantly subjected to the threats of expulsion and home demolition.

These “unrecognized” villages were established in the Negev soon after the 1948 war, following the creation of the state of Israel in the historic land of Palestine, when an estimated 750,000 Palestinians were forcibly expelled from their homes and made refugees.

Many Bedouins were forcibly transferred to the village sites during the 17-year period when Palestinians inside Israel were governed under Israeli military law, which ended shortly before Israel’s military takeover of Gaza and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, in 1967.

Now, more than 60 years later, the Bedouin villages have yet to be legally recognized by Israel and live under constant threat of demolition and forcible removal.

In related news, the soldiers demolished Palestinian structures near occupied East Jerusalem, in addition to a home near Bethlehem and an under-construction structure near Nablus.

Palestinian Father, His Son, Forced To Demolished Their Homes In Jerusalem

 IMEMC, NOV 17, 2020

A Palestinian father and his son were forced, Monday, to demolish their own homes in occupied Jerusalem, after the city council of the Israeli occupation apartheid regime issued a demolition order and threatened excessive fines and fees.

Media sources said the Palestinians, Mohammad Qonbar and his son ‘Atiyya, had to demolish their homes in Qonbar neighborhood, in Jabal al-Mokabber town, south of occupied Jerusalem.

The family said they had to demolish their own homes, after the police invaded them several times, and threatened to destroy their property in addition to forcing them to pay a bill which exceeds 100,000 Israeli Shekels.

The family received the first demolition orders three months ago, but their lawyer managed to delay the destruction of the two properties, in addition to filing appeals; however, the City Council decided to go ahead with the demolition without even waiting for the outcome of the appeals.

The father, Mohammad, lived in the home along with his wife and two sons, after constructing it seven years ago, while his son, Atiya, lived in his home along with his wife.

“It hurts my heart and my soul to demolish our homes,” the father said, “But we don’t own dozens of thousands of Shekels to pay the city for destroying them.”

Many Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem have no other option but to build or modify their homes to accommodate their expanding families, while Israel continues to deny them construction permits, by denying them the right to build on their own land, while it continues to construct and expand its illegal colonies, installed in direct violation of International Law.
