Israeli Occupation Apartheid Regime Soldiers Abduct Palestinians, Demolish their Homes, Attack Protesters, Assault Teenagers

December 3, 2020

Editor's Note:

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of David, Solomon, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

The following news stories are just examples of the Israeli occupation government violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

According to the Addameer Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association reports a total of 170 Palestinian children incarcerated in Israeli prisons.

Approximately 700 Palestinian children under the age of 18 from the occupied West Bank are prosecuted every year through Israeli military courts after being arrested, interrogated and detained by the Israeli army. The most common charge levied against children is throwing stones, a crime that is punishable under military law by up to 20 years in prison. – Addameer

The majority of children report being subjected to ill-treatment and having forced confessions extracted from them during interrogations. Forms of ill-treatment used by the Israeli soldiers during a child’s arrest and interrogation usually include slapping, beating, kicking and violent pushing. Palestinian children are also routinely verbally abused. Despite recommendations by the UN Committee against Torture in May 2009 that the interrogations should be video recorded, no provisions to this effect have yet been enacted. – Addameer

A Palestinian was forced to demolish his own home, late on Monday at night, in Jabal al-Mokabber town, in occupied Jerusalem, after the city council of the Israeli occupation apartheid regime refused to grant him a permit.

The Palestinian, Fawwaz Abdo, said he had to demolish his property, located in the Schools Neighborhood after all appeals with Israeli courts were denied.

He added that he built the 100 square/meter property on his land more than five years ago, to provide shelter for his six-member family.

According to data from the Israeli Information Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories (B’Tselem) Israel has demolished 107 Palestinian homes in East Jerusalem between January 1, 2020, and October 31st, 2020.

72 of the demolished homes were destroyed by their owners, who wanted to avoid further excessive fines and fees.

The demolitions left more than 340 Palestinians, including 176 children, without a shelter.

Earlier Monday, the soldiers demolished a Palestinian home in the al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem, south of occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank.

On Sunday, a Palestinian man was forced to demolish his home in Wadi al-Jouz neighborhood, after all attempts to license the property were denied by Israeli courts, despite.

Israeli occupation soldiers demolished, Monday, a Palestinian home in the al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem, south of occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank.

Local activist Ahmad Salah said several army jeeps, and bulldozers, invaded the Um Rokba area, in the southern part of the town, and closed it, preventing the Palestinians from entering or leaving.

Salah added that the soldiers then proceeded to demolish a 200 square/meter home, owned by Mohammad Ya’coub Da’dou’, allegedly for being built without a permit from the Civil Administration Office, the administrative branch of Israel’s illegal occupation.

It is worth mentioning that the area is subject to frequent Israeli violations, including the demolition of many homes and structures, in addition to outstanding orders targeting many more.

Israeli colonists also repeatedly attack and uproot Palestinian lands in the same area, which is essential for Palestinian constructions due to population growth.

The Palestinians have already lost large swaths of lands for the construction and expansion of Israel’s illegal colonies, built in direct violation of International Law, and the Fourth Geneva Convention.

In related news, the soldiers destroyed three Palestinian water wells in the villages of Arrana and al-Jalama, northeast of Jenin, in northern West Bank.

The Palestinian, identified as Mohammad Sandouqa, was forced to demolish his property using simple electric tools to avoid the excessively high fines that would be added if the City Council uses it workers and equipment to destroy the property.

Sandouqa filed various appeals with Israeli courts to no avail, including appeals to delay the demolition of the property which was built seventeen years ago.

He was also ordered to pay a 100.000 Israeli Shekels fine that he is still paying its installments, which in turn delayed the demolition until now.

It is worth mentioning that nine family members live in the property, built on land the family owns.

“I will look for a new place for me and my family,” he said, “This will not be easy due to high rental costs, especially in this area which Israel decided to designate as a reserve, and therefore, rejects Palestinian construction permits and even zoning requests.”

Israeli Occupation Army Invades Palestinian Lands In Central Gaza

 IMEMC, NOV 30, 2020

Israeli occupation military vehicles, including bulldozers, invaded Palestinian lands, Monday, east of the al-Boreij refugee camp, in central Gaza Strip, before bulldozing several sections and installing sand hills.

Media sources said the vehicles came from a military base across the perimeter fence, east of the refugee camp, and advanced dozens of meters into the lands, while the soldiers fired sporadic rounds of live ammunition in addition to smoke bombs.

The sources added that the military bulldozers uprooted farmlands near the fence and installed sand hills.

The invasion is the latest of ongoing Israeli violations against the Palestinians in the besieged targeting areas across the perimeter fence in the northern and eastern parts of the Gaza Strip.

Such violations also include attacking Palestinian fishing boats in Gaza territorial waters, leading to dozens of casualties, including fatalities, in addition to property damage and the abduction of many Palestinians.

During these invasions and violations, the farmers are forced out of their lands, and the fishermen are attacked, including with live ammunition, while many have also been abducted and their boats were confiscated.

It is worth mentioning that, under the Oslo Peace Agreement, signed between Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization in 1993, the fishing zone was set at twenty nautical miles, where the Palestinians are supposed to be able to fish and sail, but Israel keeps violating the agreement, and repeatedly reduces or alters the allotted zone.

Israeli Occupation Navy Opens Fire At Palestinian Fishing Boats In Gaza

 IMEMC, NOV 30, 2020

Israeli occupation navy ships attacked, on Sunday evening, several Palestinian fishing boats in the Sudaniyya area, northwest of Gaza city, in the besieged and impoverished coastal region.

The Fishermen Committees of the “Union of Agricultural Work Committees” said the navy fired many live rounds at the boats, while fishing 2 to 3 nautical miles from the Gaza shore.

They added that the attack did not lead to casualties but forced the Palestinians back to shore in fear of further violations.

The attack is part of ongoing Israeli violations against Palestinian fishermen, workers, and farmers, in several parts of the Gaza Strip.

The violations have led to dozens of casualties, including fatalities, in addition to the destruction and confiscation of Palestinian fishing boats.
