While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of David, Solomon, and Solomon's son).

 After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

Illegal Israeli Settlers Burn Dozens Of Olive Trees Near Nablus

A group of fanatic illegal Israeli settlers burnt, Tuesday, dozens of Palestinian olive trees in Burin village, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, the WAFA Palestinian News Agency has reported.

Eyewitnesses said the armed paramilitary colonists invaded olive orchards in the area between Burin and Huwwara and burnt the trees.

They added that the fire consumed at least 70 olive trees, before Palestinian firefighters managed to extinguish it.

The attack was carried out less the 24 hours after the colonists cut and uprooted 36 Palestinian olive trees in isolated behind the illegal Annexation Wall, and the Palestinians cannot enter them without a permit from the Israeli army. 

Israeli Occupation Soldiers Injure Five Palestinians In Nablus

Israeli occupation soldiers injured, on Monday at dawn, five young Palestinian men, including a journalist, during protests that erupted after the Israeli occupation army accompanied dozens of illegal Israeli settlers into Joseph’s Tomb, in the northern West Bank city of Nablus.

Media sources said Palestinians protested the invasion into the site, and its surrounding areas, and hurled stones at the army jeeps.

They added that the soldiers shot at least five Palestinians with rubber-coated steel bullets and caused many to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation.

One of the wounded Palestinians is a journalist, identified as Mo’tasem Saqf el-Heit, who was shot with a rubber-coated steel bullet in the abdomen.

The incidents took place after many army jeeps accompanied 17 Israeli buses, and many cars, carrying around 1100 illegal colonialist settlers, and headed towards Joseph’s Tombs, while the soldiers closed its surrounding areas, preventing the Palestinians from entering them.

Among the Israelis who participated in the invasion are Eli Cohen, a member of Knesset and the Minister of Economy and Industry, in addition to, Yossi Dagan, the head of the so-called “Regional Council of Settlements,” in northern West Bank.

Joseph’s Tomb is revered by Jews, Muslims, Christians, and Samaritans alike. The Israeli military allows Jews to visit as part of organized pilgrimages, despite the site being in Area A where the PA has full control and prohibits Muslims from worshiping at the site.

Ultra-orthodox and nationalist Jews regularly try to visit the shrine without approval, as many Jews believe the tomb to be the final resting place of the biblical figure in the Old Testament.

Palestinians believe that Joseph’s Tomb is the funerary monument to Sheikh Yousif Dweikat, a local religious and social figure.

Also at dawn, the soldiers abducted sixteen Palestinians from their homes in several parts of the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported that Israeli occupation soldiers abducted, on Tuesday at dawn, at least thirteen Palestinians from their homes in several parts of the occupied West Bank.

The PPS said the soldiers invaded and ransacked many homes in Nablus Governorate, in northern West Bank, and abducted five Palestinians identified as Mohammad Lutfi Marshoud, Mohammad Mahmoud Marshoud, Mohammad Maymoun Ennab, Nimir Abu Mustafa and his wife.

The soldiers also abducted a former political prisoner, who was previously shot by the soldiers, identified as Jom’a Abu Khalifa, from his home in Jenin refugee camp, in Jenin, in northern West Bank.

In addition, the soldiers abducted Mustafa Abdul-Rauf Hamed and Hammad Saleh Hamed, from their homes in Silwad town, east of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, and searched homes in the villages of Nabi Saleh, Aboud, and Kafr Ni’ma.

In Hebron, in southern West Bank, the soldiers invaded and searched homes, and abducted Mohammad Atiya Banat along with his son Jamal.

They added that the soldiers also abducted Ezzeddin Nasser Zein, and his brother Yahia, after invading their homes and ransacking it; both are former political prisoners.

Furthermore, the soldiers invaded Beit Kahil town, west of Hebron, before searching the home of a former political prisoner, identified as Laith al-Asafra.

They also installed roadblocks at Hebron’s northern road in Jouret Bahlas area, and the al-Fahs area, south of the city, before stopping and searching dozens of cars, and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.

It is worth mentioning that the army claimed its soldiers located weapons in Azzoun town, east of Qalqilya, in northern West Bank, and in Hebron.

In addition, the soldiers invaded and violently searched the family of home Ashraf Na’alwa, 23, who was killed by the soldiers on December 13, 2018.

Israeli Occupation Soldiers Shoot A Palestinian Near Tulkarem

Israeli occupation soldiers shot, Tuesday, a young Palestinian man at the electronic gate, which was installed by the soldiers near Zeita village, north of Tulkarem, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

Eyewitnesses said the soldiers shot Abdul-Salam Khalil Kittana, 25, from Nazlet Issa village, north of Tulkarem, while he was trying to cross the gate to go to work.

They added that the Palestinian was shot in his leg, and the soldiers detained him at Barta’a military roadblock, where they interrogated him and later released him to the Palestinian District Coordination Office.

It remains unknown why the soldiers shot him in the first place, especially since they released him after interrogating him.

Red Crescent medics said Kittana was moved to Tulkarem Governmental hospital for treatment.

On Monday, the soldiers stationed at Barta’a military roadblock, southwest of Jenin, shot a young man, identified as Ahmad Mustafa Sa’abna, from Fahma village, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin.

Israeli occupation soldiers abducted, on Tuesday at dawn, a Palestinian father and his son, in addition to two siblings, from their homes in the southern West Bank governorate of Hebron.

Media sources said the soldiers invaded and searched homes in Hebron city, Mohammad Atiya Banat and his son Jamal.

Eight Israeli Violations against Palestinian Journalists in September

Israeli occupation soldiers committed eight violations against Palestinian journalists, in September, a WAFA report said today, according to Days of Palestine.

It said, in its monthly report on Israeli treatment of Palestinian journalists and media, that six journalists were injured from rubber-coated metal bullets, tear gas inhalation or beatings by Israeli soldiers, while covering events in the occupied Palestinian territories.

In addition, Wedad Barghouthi, a lecturer of media at Birzeit University, was abducted by Israeli forces who raided her home in the village of Kobar, near Ramallah, on September 1.

On September 13, Israeli authorities banned journalist Majdoulin Hassouna, who works with the Turkish TRT channel, from travelling at Allenby Border Crossing, on the Palestine-Jordan border, while she was on her way back to Turkey, following a visit to her family in the West Bank, the report said.

Israeli Occupation Government Considers Withdrawing Residency of BDS Co-founder Omar al-Barghouti

Israeli occupation government so-called Minister of Interior, Arye Deri, has ordered the so-called “Population and Immigration Authority” to prepare a legal opinion so as to revoke the residency status of the co-founder of the ‘Boycott-Divestment-Sactions’ (BDS) movement Omar al-Barghouti, for breach of trust.

In recent years, the Israeli government has been fighting Omar al-Barghouti, for his efforts and activities aiming at supporting the political boycott of Israel, Haaretz newspaper reported.

The newspaper indicated that al-Barghouti, a resident of Akko, was detained in 2017 by Israeli police, adding that MK Katy Shitrit asked Israeli Deputy Attorney General Dina Zilber and Interior Minister Arye Deri, at that time, to work on deporting him.

The Interior Minister said that he intends to quickly withdraw the residency of al-Barghouti, and ban him from the rights of citizenship.

In turn, the leader of the Arab Joint List, Ayman Odeh, said that revoking residency or citizenship is anti-democratic, adding that today it’s al-Barghouti, and tomorrow it could be anyone who does not agree with the Israeli government, with its occupation policy and Jewish supremacist laws, saying, “We will fight to protect our rights by all legal means.”

The Boycott-Divestment-Sanctions movement is an international movement sparked by 150 Palestinian organizations in 2015, modeled after the anti-apartheid movement in South Africa in the 1980s. It aims at pressuring Israel using economic means to try to get Israel to adhere to its obligations under international law and withdraw its military forces and paramilitary colonial settlers from the Occupied Territories of Palestine.

PA to Again Accept Israeli Tax Collection

After months of having refused tax money collected by Israel, on behalf of the Palestinian state, the financially starved PA has decided to once again start accepting the funds. The PA’s unwillingness to receive the specific tax income is based on a dispute over stipends paid to the families of Palestinian militants killed or imprisoned by the Israeli state.

Since February/ March, the Palestinian Authority has categorically refused to accept any and all tax money collected by Israel on behalf of Palestine. In total, the funding withheld by Israel amounts to about $ 190 million per month, which it transfers from imports that are processed in the occupied West Bank and the Gaza Strip via Israeli ports.

However, the Palestinian Authority has been struggling with a deep financial crisis even before the tax trouble became an issue, so Hussein Al-Sheikh, a close friend to Mahmoud Abbas, organized a meeting with Israel’s Minister of Finances Moshe Kahlon last Thursday. The two parties decided to “agree to disagree” on the stipend matter and the PA will once again start accepting the funds. The result is that today, approximately 1.5 billion Shekels ($ 430 million) will be handed over to the Palestinian state. Further negotiations will continue over the next week.

PNN further reports that, in February, the Israeli government decided to unilaterally slash the tax funds in question by 5%, which equals the amount of money the PA pays out to the families of Palestinian fighters and militants killed or jailed by Israel. The stipends, amounting to about $ 12 million per month, are perceived by Israel as rewards for terrorism which encourage violence and they refer to the monthly payments as ‘Pay for Slay’.

Agree to disagree

In a speech before the UN General Assembly, last month, Abbas vowed to continue the payments to the militants and their families. He stated: “We are confident that the international community will not accept Israel’s arbitrary decision to withhold our revenues, and to confiscate a part of it.” Abbas continued by praising the fighters in question, referring to them as “our honorable martyrs, courageous prisoners and wounded heroes.”

The funds are all the more welcome since, additionally, the United States has withdrawn more than $ 500 million in aid to Palestinian causes via various development programs. These measures were taken after Mahmoud Abbas announced loud protest at the US government’s decision to officially recognize Jerusalem as the undivided capital of Israel.

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported that Israeli occupation soldiers abducted, on Monday at dawn, at least sixteen Palestinians from their homes in several parts of the occupied West Bank.

The PPS said the soldiers stormed and violently searched many homes across the West Bank, causing property damage, and questioned the families while inspecting their ID cards, before abducting eleven Palestinians.

It added that the soldiers also installed military roadblocks across the West Bank, before stopping and searching dozens of cars, and interrogated the Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.

One of the abducted Palestinians is a former political prisoner, identified as Ahmad Khader al-Hroub, from Deir Samit town, west of the southern West Bank city of Hebron.

In addition, Mawwal Radio in Bethlehem has reported that several army jeeps invaded Beit Sahour city, east of Bethlehem, before the soldiers stormed and ransacked homes in Waad Hanna Sa’ad area, and abducted Nimir Michael Sa’ad and his son Dani Sa’ad.

Israeli Occupation Government to Demolish A Palestinian Home Near Ramallah

Abu Hmeid family, living in the al-Am’ari refugee camp, south of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, was informed by the Israeli occupation army that their home will be demolished within the coming week.

Latifa Abu Hmeid told the WAFA Palestinian News Agency that a military commander called her and informed her of the final decision to demolish her home, which was wired and detonated by the soldiers last year, and the family rebuilt it since then.

She stated that the commander informed her “she can file an appeal against the demolition order,” but added that the family does not intend to do so, especially since Israeli courts hold mock trials in these cases, and rule in favor of their army.

Lotfiyya said that after the army wired and detonated their home in December of 2018, and that the family later started rebuilding their property, which is still under construction after the family built the first two floors and now rebuilding the third. The family home was demolished a total of five times to date.

She also said the commander told her the family’s land has been confiscated under military orders, and that it is not allowed to rebuild any destroyed property in the first five years following any demolition.

It is worth mentioning that Islam’s mother, 73 years of age, has a son, Abdul-Mon’em Abu Hmeid, who was killed by the army in 2002 in nearby Qalandia refugee camp, in addition to five other sons, imprisoned by Israel, four of them are serving life terms.

Her husband, Mohammad Yousef Abu Hmeid, died in December of 2014, without being able to visit with any of his detained sons, due to what Israeli called “security considerations.”

The army claims that one of her sons, Islam Abu Hmeid, 33, who was taken prisoner on June 6th, 2018, killed an Israeli soldier, identified Ronen Lubarsky, after dropping a slab on his head, on May 24th, during a military invasion into the refugee camp, causing a very serious injury resulting in his death on May 26th.

An Israeli court sentenced Islam to life in prison, in addition to a fine of 258.000 Shekels to be paid to the family of the slain soldier.

His brothers Nasser, 37, is serving seven life terms and fifty years in prison, Nasr, 35, is serving five life terms, Sharif, 29, is serving four life terms, and Mohammad, 24, is serving two life terms and 30 years in prison.

Illegal Israeli fanatic settlers slash tires, spray racist graffiti near Salfit

Illegal Israeli extremist settlers slashed, on Saturday at night, the tires of 13 Palestinian-owned vehicles and spray-painted racist slogans in the village of Qira, to the north of the occupied West Bank city of Salfit, according to local sources.

Aisha Nimr, head of the Qira village council, told WAFA that the settlers sneaked their way into the village at night, slashed the tires of parked vehicles and spray-painted racists graffiti and slogans on vehicles and houses.

Israeli settler violence against Palestinians and their property is commonplace in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.

It includes arsons of property and mosques, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.

Over 600,000 Israelis live in Jewish-only settlements across occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank in violation of international law.
