Scores of Syrians Killed in Various Cities, in Attacks and Suicide Bombing, the Destruction Continues

In Hama province, a woman was killed in missile shelling by the regime forces targeted al-Hawash village in Sahl al-Ghab northwest of Hama.

In al-Suwaidaa Province, a person died in an exchange of gunfire and clashes between 2 families in al-Suwaidaa city.

While 15 other people were killed including 4 children, 2 women, and 3 fighters of the Turkestani Islamic party, and 3 of them are still unidentified, they were killed in the Russian raids on areas in Idlib province

A jihad fighter of a Libyan nationality was killed in bombing in the Idlib city, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of the attorney general within the Ministry of Justice of the Rescue Government affected by the injury he had as a result of the explosion of an IED in his vehicle in Bustan Ghannoum neighborhood in Idlib city today, Friday, in the same context, the SOHR documented the killing of a person by gunfire in his house in Idlib city in unknown circumstances so far.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a new assassination within the increased security escalation in Daraa Province, where unidentified gunmen assassinated on Friday afternoon, the 22nd of March 2019, using their machineguns’ fire a former fighter of the rebel factions in Tal Shihab town in the countryside of Daraa, who carried out previously settlement after the regime forces controlled the area and he recently joined the 4th Division.

Also, it rose to 230 including about 160 civilians including 45 children 60 women, the number of people who were killed in shelling by International Coalition warplanes on Baghuz farms area in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

And 2 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in shelling and clashes against the “Islamic State” Organization and the factions.

Idlib Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the continuation of clashes between the security force of Hayyaat Tahrir, against  fugitives from the Idlib central prison who are believed to belong to a sleeper cell of the “Islamic State” Organization in Bennesh town in the countryside of Idlib, where clashes took place between both parties where and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham targeted them by tanks, heavy machineguns, and shoulder-mounted rocket launchers, where several successive explosions were heard, they were caused by the detonation of 6 members of the Organization for themselves with explosive belts, also a child was shot dead during clashes between both parties, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published at the night of the 23rd of March 2019 that gunfire was heard in the northeastern countryside of Idlib city, and information received that it was caused by a security patrol of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham chasing members of cells who fled from Idlib central prison after the Russian raids a few days ago against the prison on the outskirts of Idlib city.

A body of a young man on was found on the road of Saraqib – Ariha, as a result of the continuation of insecurity in and around the province, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored 2 separate incidents of security chaos in Idlib countryside which is under the control of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, where the body of a fighter of the factions was found dead by gunfire and thrown on the road between the villages of Taqana and Kafr Basin in the southern countryside of Idlib, and in another context, unidentified gunmen shot at a young man on the road between Ariha city and Saraqib town in Idlib countryside, which killed him instantly, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 22nd of March 2019 that an explosion rocked Idlib city today evening, Friday the 22nd of March 2019, it was caused by an IED explosion near Al-Wehdah School in Idlib city, where the bombing resulted in the killing of a Libyan jihadist.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of the attorney general within the Ministry of Justice of the Rescue Government affected by the injury he had as a result of the explosion of an IED in his vehicle in Bustan Ghannoum neighborhood in Idlib city today, Friday, in the same context, the SOHR documented the killing of a person by gunfire in his house in Idlib city in unknown circumstances so far, raising to 509, the number of people who were killed in the countryside of Idlib, Aleppo, and Hama, since the 26th of April 2018, the date of starting the security chaos to be escalated in the province, they are the wife of an Uzbek commander and his son, in addition to 145 civilians including 20 children and 12 women, of who were assassinated through bomb explosions, IED detonations, shooting, abduction, murder and then throwing the bodies in remote areas, and 311 fighters of Syrian nationality belong to Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, al-Sham Corps, the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham, Jaysh al-Izza, and other factions operating in Idlib, and 50 fighters of Somali, Uzbek, Asian, Gulf, Jordanian, Turkish and Caucasian nationalities have been assassinated in the same ways, also the assassination attempts have injured tens of people with varying severity.

And the Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that the security chaos continues within Idlib province and the surrounding countryside controlled Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and other factions, despite all the actions taken by these factions, most notably Tahrir al-Sham to limit it, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored 2 consecutive explosions in Idlib city on Friday, 22nd of March 2019, which was caused by an improvised explosive device in a car of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham near al-Jarrah Roundabout in al-Qosur neighborhood in the city, which injured at least 2 members, and the other one was caused by the explosion of an improvised explosive device in a car of the Attorney General of the Ministry of Justice of the Rescue Government in Bustan Ghannoum in the city which injured him, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 21st of March 2019, that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that a force of Tahrir al-Sham raided the random camps known as the camps of al-Bu Issa, al-Madrasa camp, al-Dahrouj camp, and Kafriya camp, all located on the road of Idlib – Ma’arrat Mesrin, where the raid took place with heavily armed vehicles filled with heavy and medium weapons, and expelled the displaced people there in the random camps.

The Syrian Observatory also learned that the ownership of these farmland belongs to the people of Kafriya and al-Fu’ah who were displaced from their towns under a prior agreement, and the Syrian Observatory published on Wednesday that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored shooting in Armanaz town in the countryside of Idlib Province, it took place on Tuesday evening, but the information were conflicted about the incident between a family dispute among two families in the town, and between a shooting by a member of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham targeted a members of al-Sham Corps in the town, where the shooting caused injuries, and in the same context, a person died affected by injuries he had in random gunfire when Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham was in pursuit of a wanted in the southern countryside of Idlib a few days ago, and the Syrian Observatory published that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham started today in the early morning, Sunday the 17th of March 2019, to carry out a new security campaign in Idlib city, its vicinity and outskirts as well as other areas within its countryside, in search for escapees from Idlib Central Prison after the airstrikes that targeted it few days ago, and in search for cells of the “Islamic State” organization, in the wake of the ongoing security chaos in Idlib and the countryside related to it, Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham also imposed a curfew in Sarmin town as a part of the same security campaign, while it blocked several roads in the area, where the roads of Idlib – Ariha, Kafr Najd – Filon north of Ariha, Ariha – Saraqeb, have been all blocked, the SOHR also monitored the outbreak of clashes today morning in Al-Mastumah area, between Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham against other gunmen believed to be cells of the “Islamic State” organization.

Aleppo Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: loud gunfire was heard this morning in Afrin city in the northwestern countryside of Aleppo, which is under the control of the pro-Turkish factions of “Euphrates Shield”, it turned out to be caused by firing by unknown gunmen on a car of the head of the military police branch in Afrin city, on the road that leads to Bab al-Salama border crossing with Turkey which injured him, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 23rd of March 2019 that an explosion was heard in al-Bab area in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, caused by an explosion believed to be caused by a mine and an IED in the area, which injured and killed several people and one of them is confirmed dead.

The Syrian Observatory published on the 18th of March 2019 that, a violent explosion was heard on the outskirts of Afrin city in the northwestern countryside of Aleppo city, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: a violent explosion took place in Trenda area in the suburbs of Afrin city, it was probably caused by an IED explosion in motorcycle in the area which wounded several people, and the place of detonation was surrounded by the forces controlling the area. This bombing comes on the eve of the first anniversary of controlling Afrin area and the city completely by the Turkish Forces and the forces of “Olive Branch” Operation, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 7th of March 2019 that ion until the moment about the arrests they carried out and the authorities who carried out the operation, after that the roads were opened this morning and the operation ended, and the Syrian Observatory published 2 days ago that the security chaos of kidnapping, thefts, targeting operations, assassinations, killing and looting, is still heading the scene in the controlled areas of the Turkish-backed factions of the “Olive Branch and the Euphrates Shield” operations in the Syrian North.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a new incident today evening, Monday, where the body of a person was found dead at the outskirts of Jarabulus town in the north-eastern sector of Aleppo countryside, where he was shot dead and his body was dumped at the outskirts of the town, without information about the identity of the perpetrators so far, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 13th of February 2019, that a violent explosion was heard in al-Bab city in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, it turned out to be caused by a landmine explosion in a vehicle belongs to the pro-Turkish forces of “Euphrates Shield”, which injured 4 members, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 12th of February 2018 that a violent explosion shook al-Rai town in the northern countryside of Aleppo within areas of the pro-Turkish “Euphrates Shield”, it turned out to be caused by a booby-trapped bicycle explosion near a checkpoint of the factions on the outskirts of the town, which injured 2 members of the checkpoint and killed a man believed to the suicide bomber who blew himself up in the bicycle, in a continuation for the series of explosions and security chaos in Aleppo countryside, which is controlled by rebel and Islamic factions loyal to Turkey.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published that an explosion shook yesterday evening, February the 6th of February 2019, Jandairis area in the countryside of Afrin city in the northwestern sector of Aleppo province, it turned out to be caused by an IED explosion targeting the car of a military commander of Jaysh al-Sharqiyyah faction, which caused material damage but no information about casualties yet, and the Syrian Observatory published yesterday, Wednesday, that a violent explosion was heard in the northeastern sector of Aleppo countryside, intersected sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Right, that it was caused by a motorcycle bomb explosion near the old market in al-Bab city in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, which is under the control of “Euphrates Shield” factions which caused material damage.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 5th of February 2019, that a violent explosion was heard in the al-Awasi area in Bzaah countryside near al-Bab city in the northeastern sector of Aleppo, within the areas that are controlled by “Euphrates Shield” Operation Forces, and the information remains conflicted about the nature of the explosion; wither it was caused by a car bombing or by an explosion after an error during the maintenance of a car, where the explosion killed a person -believed to a child- and injured others with varying severity.

The Syrian Observatory published on the 28th of January 2019 that a violent explosion shook Azaz area in the northern sector of Aleppo countryside, caused by a car explosion southeast of Azaz city at the Kafrkalbin junction that leads to Azaz and Kaljibrin, which caused material damage and injured about 5 people at least, one of them seriously injured, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 4 persons including a girl, on the 24th of January 2019, due to the motorcycle explosion near the city center roundabout, which is under the control of “Euphrates Shield” factions backed by Turkey, where the chaos increase within areas controlled by the Turkey-supported “Euphrates Shield” Operation Forces.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also publishe in the same day, that 2 explosions were heard in the towns of Ghandoura and Qabasin, in the northern countryside of Aleppo, which are under the control of the pro-Turkish factions of “Euphrates Shield”, it turned out that they were caused by the explosion of 2 IEDs in both areas, which injured 8 people in al-Ghandoura town, but it was limited to physical damage in Qabasin, these explosions are part of the continued security chaos in areas controlled by the Turkish-supported factions, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 23rd of January 2018 that an explosion was heard in the countryside of Afrin area caused by a landmine explosion in Sharan Township in the countryside of Afrin city in the northwestern suburb of Aleppo, which is controlled by “Olive Branch” factions, which injured a child.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on Wednesday morning that 2 explosions were heard in Afrin city in the northwestern country of Aleppo which is controlled by “Euphrates Shield” and “Olive Branch” factions, it turned out to be caused by the detonation of 2 IEDs in a car near the Cultural Center in the city, which is taken by “Olive Branch” as a headquarter, which caused material damage, while the Syrian Observatory monitored on the 12th of January 2019, that unidentified gunmen shot 4 fighters of the faction “Shuhada’a al-Sharqiyyah” on the road to Al-Ra’i which killed all of them, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 4th of January 2019, that it monitored the killing of a commander of rebel brigade of “Olive Branch” Operations room, and another member of the same brigade, where they died affected by wounds they had in shooting by unidentified gunmen when they were in the checkpoint of the Corps on the outskirts of Deir Ballut village in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

The first 24 hours on the official announcement of victory by the Syria Democratic Forces and the International Coalition on the “Islamic State” Organization east of Euphrates River almost finished; but the international media trending the news about the end of the Organization on the entire Syrian territory, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the continued presence of the “Islamic State” Organization on the Syrian territory, and its continued activity as well in wider areas, and in the details monitored by the Syrian Observatory: the “Islamic State” Organization is still exist in a large enclave of about 4000 square kilometers in Abu Rjameen area, located northeast of Palmyra city and stretches towards the southern desert of Deir Ezzor within the administrative borders of Deir Ezzor Province, where this area is considered a bush area and witnessed earlier afforestation also in which there are large numbers of caves, also it is a rugged area and this has prevented the Russian Forces, the regime, and their allies from carrying out a military operation, but at the same time the area has not witnessed any ground or aerial bombardment or shelling, at a time when Russia, the regime, and the gunmen loyal to them claim that the area is under their control and that there is no members of the Organization in it, while Russia is preventing the media crews from accessing the area and filming in it, in a confirmation about the continued presence of the Organization in this large enclave, which is equivalent to about 40% of the area of Lebanon.

In the same context, the “Islamic State” Organization continues its activity within the Syrian Desert, where it exists in the form of scattered enclaves within areas in the desert, also the Organization exists in the form of cells within the northern administrative borders of al-Suwaidaa province, and in the area of al-Sokhna Desert and Hmimeh area, in addition to its presence in the form of sleeper cells and active cells in Idlib Province, the western countryside of Aleppo, and other areas within the Russian – Turkish truce areas, also the Organization exists in numbers between 4000 – 5000 people in the form of sleeper and active cells within the east Euphrates area, which is controlled by the Syria Democratic Forces supported by the International Coalition, who announced their control of the area about 24 hours ago, where the Syrian Observatory published on the 21st of March 2019 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights obtained information from several reliable sources confirming that the “Islamic State” organization executed several gunmen loyal to the regime, in the southern desert of Deir Ezzor, where the organization executed 5 members of NDF forces including 3 siblings of one family while they were searching for truffle in the area, while ISIS members released a child and a woman how were with the 5 members, and they are descended from al-Shmitiyyeh village in the countryside of Deir Ezzor, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received information about finding several other bodies in the vicinity of the last ISIS enclave in al-Sokhna, and this comes in the continuation of fall of casualties searching for the truffle, which is sold at very high prices and grows heavily in the Desert area, where the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 24 people including 19 women and 3 children in less than a week while they were searching and collecting truffle,  which grows in the areas that witness heavy rainfall and it is sold at very high prices, and since late February until now, IEDs and mines have also left tens of wounded, the majority of them were citizen women and some of them had amputations, serious injuries, medium injuries, and others had simple injuries.

The Syrian Observatory published a few days ago that it monitored more human losses as a result of the explosion of landmines planted in the western sector of Deir Ezzor countryside, where it rose to 16 including 14 women at least, the number of casualties who were killed due to the explosion which took place near Al-Huraibisha town within the area between Al-Shmaytiyyeh and Al-Kharita, while more than 32 others have been injured with varying severity including 26 women, and the SOHR published hours ago, that the remnants of the Syrian war still inflict more human losses on the Syrian territory, where reliable sources informed the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, that the explosion of landmines planted previously in the area between Al-Shmaytiyyeh and Al-Kharita in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, resulted in the killing of 13 persons at least as well as the injury of about 20 others, where the reliable sources confirmed that the explosion took place near Al-Huraibisha town, while the people in the vehicle were coming back after collecting truffles from the area’s Desert, while the Syrian Observatory published on the 10th of March 2019, that it monitored the explosion of more remnants of previous military operations, particularly within areas which used to be controlled by the “Islamic State” Organization, where it planted thousands of mines that had not yet been swept by the regime forces and their allies, who control the area and opened roads for their military vehicles without caring for the lives of civilians, who have been driven by poor living conditions to search within the desert areas for the truffle plant, which grows in the areas that witness heavy rainfall and it is sold at very high prices, the thing which caused more casualties, and the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 8 citizens including 3 children and 5 women, in addition to the injury of more than 10 others with varying severity, as a result of the explosion of mines in al-Ark area of Palmyra in the eastern countryside of Homs, raising to 28 including 3 children and 23 women the number of people killed in mine explosions in areas of Wadi al-Azeeb, al-Sa’en, and Palmyra Desert, in a continuation of mine explosion since the 24th of February 2019, in 2 weeks of similar incidents.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 16th of March 2019 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored more killings within areas of control of the regime forces and their allies in the Syrian Desert, where the 4 people were killed in shooting by unknown gunmen’ who are not known whether they were of cells belong to the “Islamic State” Organization, which is located in the Desert area within a 4000 km² area north of Palmyra, and the Syrian Observatory learned that the shooting took place in al-Sawwana area northwest of Palmyra city, in a continuation of operations within areas presence of the regime and their allies which is near areas of presence of the Organization, while the Syrian Observatory published on the 10th of March 2019 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the explosion of more remnants of previous military operations, particularly within areas which used to be controlled by the “Islamic State” Organization, where it planted thousands of mines that had not yet been swept by the regime forces and their allies, who control the area and opened roads for their military vehicles without caring for the lives of civilians, who have been driven by poor living conditions to search within the desert areas for the truffle plant, which grows in the areas that witness heavy rainfall and it is sold at very high prices, the thing which caused more casualties, and the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 8 citizens including 3 children and 5 women, in addition to the injury of more than 10 others with varying severity, as a result of the explosion of mines in al-Ark area of Palmyra in the eastern countryside of Homs.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 20th of February 2019 that at the time when the presence of the “Islamic State” Organization ended as a dominant force on a geographical spot on the east banks of Euphrates River; thousands of members are still spread over an area of about 4000 km² stretching from the nature reserve of Jabal Abu Rjameen north of Palmyra which includes trees within it, until the north of al-Sokhna and the western administrative border of Deir Ezzor province, these thousands of members are still trapped since 2017 by the regime forces, the Russian forces, and the Iranian forces there, without any military operation to eliminate them despite being surrounded, on the contrary; members of the Organization there are initiating occasional surprise attacks against sites of the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them and Russia.

and Russia, where the Syrian Observatory published on the 14th of February 2019 that a violent explosion was heard in the eastern desert of Homs, it turned out that it was caused by an explosion near Owayrid Dam area, which injured 2 members of the regime forces, and it is believed that the Organization targeted them by planting mines in areas where the regime forces and their allies pass in the area, The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 10th of February 2019 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored targeting operations against the pro-regime people in the Syrian desert, near to the largest remaining enclave of the “Islamic State” Organization inside the Syrian territory, which is about 4000 km², where the Syrian Observatory monitoring targeting a car carrying members of the reconciliation committees and members of the regime’s NDF, where intersected sources confirmed that the targeting process was carried out by the “Islamic State” Organization, which exist strongly and in large numbers in the largest remaining pocket west of Euphrates River, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the targeting that took place in the last 24 hours caused the killing of 3 NDF members and injured others with varying severity, including one of the officials of the “reconciliation” file in al-Sukhnah area, while the targeting took place near al-Qlea’ area in northern desert of al-Sokhna.

The Syrian Observatory published on the 8th of February 2019 that an area in the vicinity of Tlul al-Safa on the administrative border between the provinces of Rif Dimashq and al-Suwaidaa, witnessed during the past 24 hours a clash the second of its kind within 10 days, between gunmen believed to be cells of the “Islamic State” Organization against the regime forces who are deployed in the area, against the background of an attempt to infiltrate by the first mentioned into sites of the last mentioned, which caused the killing of 4 members of the organization and one of whom was beheaded by members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, where cells of the Organization are still spread in several areas of Tlul al-Safa, in addition to information about their presence in the rugged areas of al-Karaa area in the northeastern countryside al-Suwaidaa, and the Syrian Observatory published at the beginning of February 2019 that  the regime forces targeted a vehicle of the “Islamic State” organization in Al-Sukhnah Desert in the eastern sector of Homs countryside, where the targeting resulted in the killing of 7 ISIS members, who were in the vehicle, where the “Islamic State” organization is still present in an enclave with an area of about 4000 square km, stretching from the north of Al-Sukhnah to Deir Ezzor Desert, and this is the largest and last  enclave remained for the organization in the west of the Euphrates River.
