Palestinian Killed, Scores Injured and Abducted, Fishermen and Peaceful Protesters Attacked by Israeli Occupation Soldiers

July 14, 2019

Editor's Note:

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of David, Solomon, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

The following news stories are just examples of the Israeli occupation government violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

3,000 Protest in Gaza for Great Return March as Egyptian Delegation Arrives

July 13, 2019 12:00 AM IMEMC News

A day after Israeli occupation forces “mistakenly” shot and killed a Palestinian security guard trying to prevent protesters from reaching the border fence with Israel, thousands of people turned out Friday midday to protest the Israeli escalation on the ‘Great Return March’ protests in northern, southern and eastern Gaza.

One Palestinian couple used the occasion to celebrate their wedding, with their cheers and songs interjected by Israeli tear gas and shooting.

At least 40 Palestinians were shot and injured, while dozens of others suffered from tear-gas inhalation, as Israeli occupation forces suppressed protesters along the eastern fence of the besieged Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian ministry of Health in Gaza.

A protester in Rafah was critically injured by live gunfire fired by Israeli soldiers towards the demonstrators.

Some local sources have reported that as many as 33 Palestinians were hit with live ammunition at Friday’s protests, and up to 55 total injured.

The protests took place as delegates from Egypt arrived in the besieged coastal Strip to try to negotiate with the Hamas leadership.

The Egyptians are working with the Israeli administration to try to get Hamas to agree to continue to hold to a fragile truce with Israel, which was broken the day before by Israeli occcupation soldiers who killed a civil official in Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas.

28-year-old Palestinian Mahmoud al-Adham was shot and killed by Israeli occupation forces Thursday near Beit Hanoun in the northern part of the Strip, while trying to stop Palestinian teens who were going near the fence marking the border with Israel.

The Al-Qassam Brigades said that it would not let the death go “unpunished”.

Israeli occupation government prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, stated, “I prefer that there be calm. But we are preparing for a campaign that is not only broad but also surprising.”

Israel agreed to expand the fishing zone to 15 miles off the coast of Gaza – far less than what had been negotiated in previous signed agreements. In addition, Israeli authorities had recently agreed to allow more permits for some Palestinian laborers to enter Israel to work.

The 13-year old siege on the Gaza Strip has led to more than 80% unemployment, and a severe economic crisis that has been exacerbated by Israel’s periodic bombing campaigns against the imrpisoned and besieged population – more than half of whom are children.

Occupation Army Delivers Demolition Orders Targeting Homes, Agricultural Structures, Near Hebron

July 11, 2019 5:28 PM IMEMC News

Israeli occupation soldiers invaded, Thursday, the town of Ethna, west of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, and delivered demolition orders targeting several homes, agricultural structures and a barn.

Media sources in Hebron said the soldiers delivered many demolition orders, which included several homes, agricultural structures and sheds, in addition to a barn.

They added that the targeting buildings and structures are in the section of the town, which is in “Area C” of the occupied West Bank, under full Israeli military and administrative control.

More than two-third of the town is designated as Area C, and the army frequently targets with demolition Palestinian buildings, barns and various structures.

Area C: The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA): Over 60 per cent of the West Bank is considered Area C, where Israel retains near exclusive control, including over law enforcement, planning and construction. Most of Area C has been allocated for the benefit of Israeli settlements or the Israeli military, at the expense of Palestinian communities.

This impedes the development of adequate housing, infrastructure and livelihoods in Palestinian communities, and has significant consequences for the entire West Bank population.

Structures built without permits are regularly served with demolition orders, creating chronic uncertainty and threat, and encouraging people to leave. Where the orders are implemented, they have resulted in displacement and disruption of livelihoods, the entrenchment of poverty and increased aid dependency.

The humanitarian community has faced a range of difficulties in providing aid in Area C, including the demolition and confiscation of assistance by the Israeli authorities.
