By the Time Jesus started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

Israeli Occupation Soldiers Injure Several Palestinians In Ni’lin

Israeli occupation soldiers shot, Friday, a Palestinian with a gas bomb in his leg, and causing dozens to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation, during the weekly nonviolent procession against the Annexation Wall and colonies in Ni’lin village, west of the central West Bank city of Ramallah.

Media sources said dozens of nonviolent protesters, including international peace activists, marched from the center of the village, while chanting against the ongoing Israeli occupation, its illegal policies and colonialist activities.

They also denounced the death of Palestinian political prisoner, Fares Baroud, 51, from the Gaza Strip, who died due to the lack of proper medical treatment in Israeli prisons, and called for exposing Israel’s crimes and violations against the detainees.

The procession also marked the 37th anniversary of the establishment of the leftist Palestinian People’s Party.

The soldiers fired gas bombs and concussion grenades at the nonviolent protesters on Palestinian orchards near the illegal wall, wounding a young man with a gas bomb in his leg, and causing many to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation.

In related news, the soldiers abducted two siblings, identified as Mohammad and Mustafa Khalil Zawahra, from al-Maleh area, in the Northern Plains of the West Bank.

Israeli Occupation Soldiers Injure Several Palestinians Near Bethlehem

Israeli occupation soldiers injured, Friday, several Palestinians after firing many gas bombs and concussion grenades at them, while many nonviolent activists were planting trees in Palestinian lands, in Beit Fajjar town, south of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank.

Media activist Hamad Taqatqa said the soldiers, and illegal colonialist settlers, attacked the Palestinians while planting tree in Abu Souda mountain area, west of the town, which is subject to constant violations and attempts of illegal annexation for colonialist constructions.

Taqatqa added that the soldiers fired many gas bombs and concussion grenades at the nonviolent activists, causing many to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation.

It is worth mentioning that the illegal Israeli colonists frequently attack the area, cut and uproot trees, although Israeli courts have officially admitted the lands are privately owned by the Palestinians.

Undercover Israeli Occupation Soldiers Kidnap A Palestinian from A Mosque In Al-Biereh

Undercover Israeli occupation soldiers infiltrated, on Friday evening, into Jamal Abdul-Nasser Mosque, in the of al-Biereh city, in Ramallah and al-Biereh Governorate in central West Bank, and kidnapped a Palestinian man, before regular army units invaded the city, and injured at least five Palestinians.

Media sources said the undercover soldiers assaulted and kidnapped Hamza Ghanem, 30, who conducts maintenance work in the mosque, before placing him in a car and speeding away.

They added that Israeli soldiers secured the retreat of the undercover officers by firing live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets and gas bombs, at Palestinian protesters.

Medical sources said the soldiers shot one Palestinian with live fire, two with rubber-coated steel bullets and at least two who suffered the effects of teargas inhalation.

Sheikh Yousef Ed’eis, the head of the Waqf and Religious Affairs Department, strongly denounced the invasion into the mosque, and added that the undercover soldiers also had dogs with them in the holy site.

“This is a cowardice and a criminal assault against a holy site,” he stated, “It is just a small part of ongoing Israeli violations against Islamic and Christian holy sites in occupied Palestine – these violations are encouraged and incited by Israel’s fanatic right-wing political leaders.”

Ed’eis added that the soldiers smashed doors in the mosque while searching it, and demanded the International Community to intervene and end these serious Israeli violations.

Israeli Occupation Forces Fire on Gaza Fishermen & Farmers

Israeli occupation naval forces opened fire at Palestinian fishing boats off the coast of Rafah City, in the southern besieged Gaza Strip, on Friday.

Witnesses told a Ma’an reporter that Israeli war boats opened fire targeting Palestinian fishermen off the coast of western Rafah City, forcing the fishermen to head back to shore, in fear for their lives.

Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers deployed in military watchtowers in the al-Fukhari area of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, and opened fire towards Palestinian farmers in nearby agricultural lands.

No injuries were reported.

The Israeli army regularly detains and opens fire on unarmed Palestinian fishermen, shepherds, and farmers along the border areas, if they approach the buffer zone, as authorities have not made clear the precise area of the designated zone.

The practice has in effect destroyed much of the agricultural and fishing sector of the blockaded coastal enclave, which has been under an Israeli air, land, and sea blockade for 10 years.

Israeli Occupation Forces Raid Mosque in Ramallah

An undercover Israeli occupation force, on Friday evening, raided a mosque in the center of Ramallah city, in the occupied West Bank, and kidnapped one of its employees.

WAFA correspondence said that an undercover Israeli force of about 10 combatants, accompanied by sniffer dogs, raided Jamal Abdul-Nasser Mosque, in the center of the city, and kidnapped Hamza Ghanem, an employee of the Ministry of Awkaf – in charge of places of worship – while at his job.

The attacking force seized the surveillance cameras of the mosque. An Israeli army force arrived at the scene, later, to secure the pullout of the undercover force, provoking confrontations with locals.

Israeli soldiers fired teargas canisters and stun grenades to disperse the protesters, lightly injuring three Palestinians.

Minister of Awkaf, Yousi Id’ais, condemned the Israeli attack on the mosque and reiterated calls on the international community to protect Muslim and Christian holy places in Palestine from Israeli attacks.

Israeli Occupation Soldiers Attack Landowners and Activists Planting Olive Trees in Beit Ummar

A number of landowners and Combatants For Peace activists suffered, Friday, the effects of tear gas inhalation after Israeli occupation troops at participants of a solidarity action of planting olive trees on lands owned by farmers from the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, in southern West Bank.

The activity today marked the World Agriculture Day. The action also aims to support the steadfastness of Palestinian farmers facing the illegal expansion of Israel’s colonies.

The protest took place on land Israel intends to confiscate to build the Annexation Wall, and is located near Gush Etzion colonialist Bloc. It is owned by the Abu Ayyash family, in the as-Souda area.

A soon as activist and land owners arrived on location, the army declared the site a closed military zone, trying to thwart the planting of the olive trees.

After the owners of the land and the activists refused to leave, and continued their action, the army attacked them with tear gas, as a result some participants suffered effects of tear gas inhalation.

Despite repeated attempts by the army to stop the activity, the activists continued to work and managed to plant more than 100 olive trees in the threatened land.

“We are here to stay on this land,” said Nasser Abu Ayyash, one of the owners of the land. “We have come here today with our partners from Combatants for Peace movement to plant olive trees to preserve this land.

For his part, Mr. Yousef Abu Mariya, coordinator of the Popular Committees against the Wall and Settlements in southern West Bank, explained “the occupation confiscated more than 650 dunums of land owned by Palestinian families in the land of As-Souda, between the town of Beit Fajjar and Beit Ummar. We are determined to stay on this land and continue activities with our friends from the Combatants for Peace movement to support the steadfastness of landowners.

“Combatants for Peace movement will focus its activities during 2019 in area C of the West Bank in order to support the steadfastness of the Palestinian population, facing occupation policies aimed at forcing them to leave their villages and land in preparation for its annexation” said Adam Rabie – the most active coordinator of the Combatants for Peace movement.

During the week, occupation forces stormed the house of Mr. Yousef Abu Maria and threatened to arrest him if he continued the Friday action.

Moreover, Israeli settlers’ groups launched an incitement campaign against action and threatened through social networks to attack the participants. During the day, some armed settlers came over, and tried to start a fight, but the activist refused to engage with them.

Since the beginning of this year, Israeli and settler attacks on farmers and landowners in the Beit Ummar area have escalated. The occupation aims to confiscate these lands in order to build more settlement units.

Israeli Occupation Army Seals Shut A Palestinian Home North Of Hebron

Israeli occupation soldiers sealed shut, on Friday evening, a the front entrance of a Palestinian home in the al-‘Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.

Media sources in Hebron said dozens of soldiers invaded the refugee camp, and the surrounding areas, before storming a home and sealing it shut, to prevent the Palestinians from entering it.

The sources added that the Israeli colonialist settlers tried to force the family out of their home, in order to illegally occupy it.

On Thursday, dozens of illegal colonists surrounded the home, and many of them attacked the family, while Israeli soldiers assaulted many Palestinians who rushed to aid the family.

The property is owned by a Palestinian, identified as Ahmad Abu Srour, and is located near Beit al-Baraka compound, which was illegally taken over by colonialist settlers several years ago, who claimed that they bought it from a Swedish company.

On Monday, August 6th 2018, Israeli settlers, escorting a bulldozer, demolished two Palestinian homes at Beit al-Baraka church compound, despite the presence of a court order allowing the families to stay in their homes, according to the owner of the two homes, Ahmad Samara.

Beit al-Baraka, meaning “House of Blessing,” built 70 years ago, is a 38-dunam (9.5-acre) church compound located near the al-‘Arroub refugee camp, on the main road between Bethlehem and Hebron, opposite to Arroub refugee camp.

It used to serve as a hospital providing free treatment to people suffering from tuberculosis until it was shut down in 1983. Jewish settlers later fraudulently bought the compound from the church, through a fake company.

An American missionary, identified as Thomas Lambie, constructed the buildings after coming to Palestine in 1947. Lambie constructed a tuberculosis hospital on the site and was buried on the property after his death in 1954. Beit al-Baraka was illegally annexed to Gush Etzion colonialist block on October 1st, 2015.
