114 Syrians Killed in 3 Days, in Attacks by Regime, Factions, US Air Strikes, Escalation in Idlib

The following are news stories from the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) website (http://www.syriahr.com/en/):

31 people were killed, on November 10, 2018, including 10 members of the regime forces and their allied militiamen, and 17 persons were killed in different circumstances in several Syrian areas

It rose to 6 citizens, the number of those who joined yesterday the convoy of martyrs of the Syrian revolution

SOHR, 11/11/2018

In Idlib province, 6 citizens including a child were killed as a result of the explosion of a landmine that exploded in their vehicle while they were moving in the area between Al-Zafiriyyah and Al-Zughbah villages in the northern sector of Hama countryside.

Also the bodies of 8 people were recovered from under the rubble of destruction caused by the bombing by the International Coalition warplanes on Friday morning the 9th of November and the evening of Thursday, the 8th of November 2018, raising to 41 including 17 children and 13 women, the majority of them are of Iraqi nationality of family members of the “Islamic State” Organization, who were killed in the towns of Hajin and Sha’afah during two rounds of targeting by the International Coalition.

And 3 persons were also killed due to the detonation of a booby-trapped motorcycle in Trindeh area located on the outskirts of Afrin city.

And 10 members of the regime forces and their allied militiamen were killed as a result of the shelling and clashes against the “Islamic State” organization and the factions.

And at least 4 members of the “Islamic State” organization and the factions of non-Syrian nationalities were killed in clashes and shelling of warplanes and helicopters and shelling on their areas of presence.

65 were killed on November 9, 2018, including 4 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them and 58 other people

SOHR, 10/11/2018

It rose to 24 citizens including 23 fighters, the number of who joined yesterday the convoy of casualties of the Syrian revolution.

In Hama Province, 23 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza were killed in the northern sector of Hama countryside, where they were ambushed by fighters of the regime forces and their allies in al-Zallaqiyyat area.

In Aleppo Province, a young man was killed in shooting by al-Hamza Division on a car of the Islamic movement of Ahrar al-Sham at the highway of Aleppo – al-Bab in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo.

While an old woman died strangled by a group of gunmen who raided her house in Burj Abdalo area in Afrin area in Aleppo countryside.

And 26 people of family members of the “Islamic State” Organization -the majority of them are Iraqi nationals- were killed, including 14 children and 9 citizens women, were killed in airstrikes by the International Coalition on Friday, the 9th of November 2018, while the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 7 citizens; they are 3 children and 4 women who are also of family members of the “Islamic State” organization of Iraqi nationalities, as a result of shelling targeted Hajin and al-Sha’afah.

And 4 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in shelling and clashes against the “Islamic State” organization and the factions.

At least 3 members of the “Islamic State” organization and the factions of non-Syrian nationalities were killed in clashes and shelling by warplanes and helicopters and shelling on areas of their presence.

18 were killed yesterday including 3 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them and 12 other people

It rose to 4, the number of citizens who joined yesterday the convoy of casualties of the Syrian revolution.

SOHR, 09/11/2018

In Al-Suwaidaa Province, 3 citizens were killed (2 children and a woman) when they were detained by the “Islamic State” organization since late July 2018.

In Aleppo Province, a young man was shot dead by the Jandarma while he was trying to cross into Turkey illegally from Zughrah village near Jarabulus town at the Syrian-Turkish border.

3 fighters of al-Sham Corps were also killed in a booby-trapped motorcycle explosion targeted a headquarters of the Corps in Jandairis town in Afrin countryside.

Also 4 fighters of groups in al-Sham Corps close to the Turkish authorities were killed in Afrin countryside in the northwest sector of Aleppo province.

And 3 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in shelling and clashes against the “Islamic State” organization and the factions.

At least 4 members of the “Islamic State” organization and the factions of non-Syrian nationalities were killed in clashes and shelling by warplanes and helicopters and shelling on areas of their presence.

The regime forces escalate their targeting on Idlib within the areas of the Russian – Turkish truce and target areas in it and in Hama countryside

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored renewed violations by the regime forces, which targeted the areas of the Russian – Turkish truce, where the SOHR monitored shelling which targeted areas in the villages and towns of Al-Taman’aa, Jarjnaz, Sukayk, Al-Khwaiyn and Tara’i, in both southern and south-eastern countryside of Idlib, in conjunction with targeting by heavy machineguns to the area between Al-Tah and Um Jalal, amid targeting to the villages of Farja and Al-Attal, along with firing flare bombs in the sky of the area by the regime forces, and the targeting operations resulted in the fall of wounded, while the regime forces targeted areas in the outskirts of Murak town, in the northern sector of Hama countryside.

The Syrian Observatory monitored hours ago, targeting by the regime forces by several mortar shells and heavy machineguns to areas in the outskirts in Al-Lataminah town, in the demilitarized zone, in the northern countryside of Hama, the SOHR also monitored shelling by the regime forces on areas in Kafr Hamra and Ma’arrat al-Artik towns in the north-west of Aleppo, followed by the fall of shells on the controlled areas of the regime forces in the 3000-Apartment Project and the vicinity of Al-Assad Suburb, in Al-Hamdania area in the western part of Aleppo city, while no information about injuries was reported, and the Syrian Observatory also monitored that an armored vehicle of the regime forces broadcasted threats to the fighters of the factions to leave the area and threatened of a “Russian extermination” where the statement warned the fighters against the entry of the Russian forces which will exterminate them.

The Syrian Observatory published on the 13th of October 2018, that an armored vehicle of the regime forces broadcasted threats to the factions in the area of the western outskirts of Aleppo, included threats to target everyone who will not leave the demilitarized zone before the 15th of October 2018, threatening to shell and kill them, and that they (the regime forces) know where the factions are located and hidden, and the tunnels and shelters will not protect the factions, as the Russian Air Forces will exterminate all the faction’s fighter, and they enabled them to choose either “wanton deaths or the handover of weapons and the return to bosom of the Motherland”.

While the Syrian Observatory published today morning, Sunday the 11th of November 2018, that violations continue in the areas of the Turkish – Russian truce applied in Aleppo, Hama, Idlib and Latakia provinces, and expand in various times and wider places, amid the guarantors’ decreasing ability to restrict them, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored after the midnight of Saturday – Sunday, that the regime forces targeted by their heavy machineguns, areas in the vicinity of Al-lataminah town, which is located within the demilitarized zone in the northern countryside of Hama, without information about human losses, in conjunction with the continued shelling by the regime forces with artillery shells, yesterday after the midnight, on areas in Tal Al-Sakhr village in the same countryside.

The SOHR also monitored exchange of artillery shelling between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them on one hand, and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the rebel and Islamic factions on the other, in the vicinity of Tal Al-Sultan area in the eastern countryside of Idlib, within the demilitarized zone, and the Syrian Observatory published last night, that it monitored a new round of violent fighting between the factions against the regime within the demilitarized zone and its vicinity, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The violent clashes took place today evening, Saturday the 10th of November 2018, on places in the area stretched from the southern countryside of Aleppo to the eastern countryside of Idlib, within the demilitarized zone and its vicinity, between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them against Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the rebel and Islamic factions, amid violent exchange of targeting in the clash areas between the both parties, as a result of an attempt by “infiltrators” to attack positions of the Iranian forces in the southern countryside of Aleppo and positions of the regime forces in the area of Abu Al-Duhur Military Airbase, without information so far about casualties caused by the violent fighting,.

The SOHR monitored renewed violations against the Russian – Turkish truce that was put in effect on the 15th of August 2018, where the regime forces targeted by heavy machineguns the outskirts of Jesr Bayt al-Ras town in Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama, while the regime forces targeted areas in Al-Rashideen Suburb and Al-Mansurah town west of Aleppo city, the regime forces also shelled areas in Al-Jisat and Al-Sakhr villages in the northern sector of Hama.

Operation Roundup targets ISIS remnants

SOUTHWEST ASIA – Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve and its partners continue to pursue the lasting defeat of ISIS in designated parts of Iraq and Syria.
 
Operation Roundup, which began May 1 for the defeat of ISIS in the Middle Euphrates River Valley and Iraqi- Syrian border region, has continued to gain ground through offensive operations coupled with precision Coalition strike support.
 
Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve and its partner forces' operations are exerting pressure on ISIS senior leaders and associates, as well as degrading, disrupting and dismantling ISIS organizational structures throughout Iraq and Syria.
 
Operation Roundup will continue to target ISIS remnants as the coalition remains committed to the lasting defeat of ISIS to increase peace and stability in the region, and to protect all our homelands from ISIS's terrorist threat.
 
Weekly Strike Summary
 
Between Oct. 28 and Nov 3, CJTF-OIR coalition military forces conducted 100 strikes consisting of 161 engagements in Syria.
 
On Nov. 3 in Syria, coalition military forces conducted 28 strikes consisting of 44 engagements against ISIS targets.
 
•             Near Hajin, 28 strikes engaged eight tactical units, and destroyed three headquarters buildings, two command and control centers, two supply centers, four weapons caches, three mortars, 10 staging areas, 1 firing position, and one guest house. 
 
There were no reported strikes conducted in Iraq on Nov 3, 2018.
 
On Nov. 2 in Syria, coalition military forces conducted 21 strikes consisting of 31 engagements against ISIS targets.
 
•             Near Hajin, 21 strikes engaged five tactical units, destroyed seven staging areas, five mortars, two weapons caches, two supply routes, one tunnel, two facilities, two command and control centers, and one piece of equipment. 
 
 There were no reported strikes conducted in Iraq on Nov 2, 2018.
 
On Nov. 1 in Syria, coalition military forces conducted 22 strikes consisting of 44 engagements against ISIS targets.
 
•             Near Hajin, 22 strikes engaged seven tactical units, and destroyed two fighting positions, two mortars, two command and control centers, seven staging areas, and four weapons caches. 
 
There were no reported strikes conducted in Iraq on Nov. 1, 2018.
 
On Oct. 31 in Syria, coalition military forces conducted eight strikes consisting of seven engagements against ISIS targets.
 
•             Near Hajin, eight strikes engaged six tactical units, and destroyed one staging area, one armored vehicle, two observation points, and one command and control center.
 
  There were no reported strikes conducted in Iraq on Oct. 31, 2018.
 
On Oct. 30 in Syria, coalition military forces conducted six strikes consisting of 20 engagements against an ISIS targets.
 
•             Near Hajin, six strikes engaged six tactical units, and destroyed nine vehicles, seven supply routes, and one vehicle borne IED.
 
  There were no reported strikes conducted in Iraq on Oct. 30, 2018.
 
On Oct. 29 in Syria, coalition military forces conducted seven strikes consisting of eight engagements against ISIS targets.
 
•             Near Hajin, eight strikes engaged 10 tactical units, and destroyed two weapons caches, one vehicle borne IED, one vehicle, one command and control center, and one fighting position.
 
   There were no reported strikes conducted in Iraq on Oct. 29, 2018.
 
On Oct 28, 2018 in Syria, coalition military forces conducted eight military strikes consisting of seven engagements against ISIS targets.
 
•             Near Hajin, eight strikes engaged two tactical units, and destroyed one supply route, two vehicles, one command and control center, one mortar, one explosive manufacturing facility, one compound and one staging area.
 
There were no reported strikes conducted in Iraq on Oct. 28, 2018.
 
This coalition strike release contains all strikes conducted by fighter, attack, bomber, rotary-wing, or remotely piloted aircraft, rocket propelled artillery and ground-based tactical artillery.
