Hundreds of Yemenis Killed in West Coast Battles, Israeli Participation Reported June 3, 2018
*** The following news stories are from the Yemeni pro-Saudi website Al-Sahwa ( http://www.alsahwa-yemen.net/ ): *** Four Saudi soldiers killed in clashes with Houthi militia 6/3/2018 ÇáÕÍæÉ äÊ - ÎÇÕ Saudi media reported that four Saudi soldiers were killed in clashes with the Houthi rebels in the borders between Yemen and Saudi Arabia. According to the official Saudi Press Agency "SPA" two of the soldiers were killed as they served in the line of duty in Jazan area in the southern borders of the Kingdom. SPA did not specify the location of death of the two others. Over the past years, the Iran-backed terrorist group has mobilized thousands of militants in the borders with Saudi Arabia. But they have totally failed to make any entry into Saudi territories. Fear grips Taiz after mutilated bodies of 3 government soldiers found 6/3/2018 ÇáÕÍæÉ äÊ - ÎÇÕ Fear is gripping the central Yemen city of Taiz after last week's discovery of the bodies of three government soldiers mutilated and dumped in the city's eastern precinct. Signs of torture were also apparent on the bodies. The stink of the decomposed bodies led to their discovery in Wadi al-Modam area which has recently been at least ostensibly retaken by the city's official Security Committee from the control of Abu al-Abbas Brigade, an extremist group blamed for widespread assassinations against government soldiers, moderate clerics and political activists. The same group is blamed for killing of an employee of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the city last April. The Security Committee issued on Saturday saying that it had taken the decisions and the strict procedures to ensure that "the criminals are prosecuted and arrested." The Committee vowed to "strike with an iron fist" on them. Land, sea and air coordination of Hodeidah battle 6/3/2018 ÇáÕÍæÉ äÊ - ÎÇÕ The army and popular resistance forces are preparing for the anticipated battle of Hodeidah through a land, air and sea coordination, while the Arab Coalition continues to monitor Houthi supply routes to the western coast and destroy the convoys of Houthis' military reinforcements in Hodeidah. The spokesman for the Yemeni army Brigadier Abdu Abdullah Mujalli told Asharq Al-Awsat that there is coordination between a security force in Hodeidah and the Arab Coalition's aircraft and warships to liberate the port of Hodeidah. He said that the army is using drones to detect the rebels' key locations in the center of Hodeidah city. Brigadier General Majali said that the military forces are advancing from south of Hodeidah towards the port according to plan. Houthi landmine injures woman and her two children in Taiz 6/1/2018 ÇáÕÍæÉ äÊ - ÎÇÕ A woman and her two children were wounded by a landmine that the Houthi rebels had planted in western Taiz. Local sources said that the family of Tawfiq al-Muqbeli, a mother and her two children, when they stepped on a landmine in the village of Al-Qooz in Jabal Habashi area in the central Yemen province of Taiz. The Iran-backed rebels planted hundreds of mines in Taiz, including in the villages and residential areas it controls. As the army retakes areas from Houthis, families feel safer to go back to their villages. But many of the returnees face the scourge of landmines. *** The following news stories are from the Yemeni independent website Al-Masdar ( http://www.almasdaronline.com/category/42 ): *** Houthis casualties in an airstrike on the command of the fifth region at Hodeida ALMASDARONLINE, 2018-06-03 Arabic coalition led by Saudi Arabia has launched today(Sunday) two airstrikes on a Houthis militia location at Hodeida (west Yemen) and most likely resulted in casualties. Almasdar online reporter and according to Eyewitnesses said the airstrikes targeted the headquarter of the fifth military region command near the airport, at the south district, they added the explosions were violent. Ambulances came to the area to evacuate the injured, with no information about the number of the casualties among Houthis militia until now. More than 100 killed in West Coast battels ALMASDARONLINE, 2018-06-03 More than 100 killed at the ongoing war in Yemen between the government forces and Houthis Near Hodeida France press agency said according to medical and military sources that more than 100 killed in less than a week. The government forces leading a military campaign to kick Houthis out of Hodeida which consider the most important route to supply Humanitarian aid to deferent areas in Yemen which most of its population is suffering from malnutrition and lack of medications And essential life needs since the start of the war. Officials in Aden hospitals (the headquarter of Yemeni government) they have received 52 bodies 20 of them belongs to soldiers and that’s only between Friday and Saturday which raise the number of the victims to 110 since Wednesday according to France press. A military official at Yemeni army said to France press Houthis ambushed a faction in the government forces at (Aldrehmi) at Hodeida government. The government forces supported by Saudi Arabia and UAE announced last week a military operation on Hodeida city . Hodeida which is 230 Km away from Sanaa controlled by Houthis supported by Iran since 2014, and Saudi Arabia led a coalition to support Abdurabbu Mansoor Hadi government , the coalition accusing Houthis of using the port as a platform to attack ships and smuggle missiles to their territories. About 10 thousand people killed since the start of the war by the coalition led by Saudi Arabia at March 2015 . Cholerae also killed about 2200 while millions of Yemenis facing starvation in a Humanitarian crisis described by UN as the worse. The united nations warned last week from any attempt to seize control over Hodeida port and said it will damage the aiding process wich 70 % of it comes from this port. New Assassination in Taiz! A military source said to Almasdaronline that two armed men opened fire on Nabeel Jamel on the front of “Alredwahn “mosque at “Alsameel “ local market, Jamel shoot in the chest and also his escort injured in the attack. In Saada province, northern Yemeni border, a man and a woman were killed while another woman was injured in Saudi missile shelling targeting several areas of Razih border district. To continue with Saada, artillery and missile shells also targeted several areas of Munabeh border district. Meanwhile, the US-backed coalition warplane conducted an airstrike on Ghamar area in Razih border district. In Amran province, an airstrike struck Harf-Sufian district.
