3 Palestinians Killed, Several Injured, Dozens Abducted, Property Demolished by Israeli Occupation Forces

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of David, Solomon, and Solomon's son).

 After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

Israeli Occupation Army Kills Three Palestinians In Gaza

Dr. Ashraf al-Qedra, the spokesperson of the Health Ministry in the Gaza Strip, has confirmed that Israeli occupation soldiers killed, on Wednesday evening, three Palestinians, and injured one, after the army fired artillery shells into several areas in central Gaza Strip, and east of Gaza city.

Dr. al-Qedra said the three slain Palestinians have been identified as Ahmad Monir al-Basous, 28, ‘Abada As’ad Ferwana, 29, and Mohammad Tawfiq al-‘Ar’ir, 27; the three, from the Sheja’eyya neighborhood in Gaza, were killed by Israeli artillery shells east of the city.

Dr. al-Qedra added that one Palestinian suffered moderate wounds in an Israeli bombardment of a site in northern Gaza, and was rushed to the Indonesian Hospital.

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, said in an official statement that the three fighters are members of the group, and vowed retaliation.

Israeli occupaiton soldiers also fired two artillery shells into another area, near Juhr ad-Deek, north of the al-Boreij refuge camp, in central Gaza, and two shells into an observation post east of the refugee camp, in addition to an area east of the al-Maghazi refugee camp, also in central Gaza.

The Israeli occupation army also fired several shells at an observation post east of Gaza city, causing excessive damage.

On Wednesday night, as Israeli artillery shells and drones began pounding eastern Gaza, Palestinian resistance groups reportedly fired back, wounding two Israeli soldiers.

Some Israeli media sources claimed that the Palestinian resistance fired first, but live streams posted by Palestinians on Twitter and Facebook show that the drone strikes preceded the reports of Palestinians shooting toward the Israeli military base in eastern Gaza.

Israeli daily Haaretz has reported that the army believes some armed groups, not affiliated with Hamas, are responsible for sniper fire against the soldiers near the border fence.

It added that the soldiers exchanged fire with Hamas fighters, on Wednesday evening, when the soldiers reportedly tried to remove Palestinian youngsters from the fence area, and said that the soldiers were then targeted with sniper fire.

On Tuesday, the Health Ministry has confirmed, Tuesday, that Majd Soheil Mohammad ‘Oqeil, 26, died from serious wounds her suffered, on May 14th, after Israeli soldiers shot him with live fire in northern Gaza.

On July 22, a young Palestinian man, identified as Karam Ibrahim Arafat, 26, died from serious wounds he suffered on June 8th, when Israeli soldiers shot him with live fire east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

On the same day, during pre-dawn hours, the soldiers invaded Deheishe refugee camp, south of Bethlehem, and killed a child, identified as Akram Tha’er Mizhir, 15.

Over the past hundred days, Israeli forces have killed 147 Palestinians, and wounded more than 17,000 participating in non-violent protests at or near the parameter fence in Gaza. No Israelis were killed in Gaza until this past Friday, when Israeli bombs killed two Palestinian children, and Palestinian fighters fired at an Israeli military base with gunfire, killing one soldier.

Four Palestinian fighters were killed in that exchange of fire. Later that night, Israeli forces dropped more than two dozen bombs on the Gaza Strip, then negotiated a ceasefire through Egyptian mediators.

Despite a ceasefire established Saturday between Israel and Palestinian resistance groups, Israel has continued its bombing campaign against the Gaza Strip, with four Palestinians reportedly killed in eastern Gaza Wednesday night. No Palestinian shells have been fired toward Israel since the ceasefire, despite continued Israeli violations.

In addition to those killed, a number of Palestinians were reportedly injured by Israeli artillery fire and drone strikes.

This follows a drone strike by Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday which wounded three Palestinians.

Israeli Occupation Soldiers Abduct Three Palestinians In Tulkarem

Israeli soldiers invaded, on Thursday at dawn, Tulkarem city and nearby Far’un village, searched homes and a car repair facility, and abducted three young men.

Eyewitnesses said several army jeeps invaded the al-Aqsa neighborhood, in the northern part of Tulkarem city, searched homes and abducted Mohammad Qaffini.

A large military force also invaded Far’un village, south of Tulkarem, searched a few homes, and abducted Monir Na’im ‘Adwan, 40, and his brother, Mohammad, 36.

The soldiers also broke into and searched a car repair facility, owned by the two detained brothers. 

Israeli Occupation Soldiers Abduct Thirteen Palestinians In The West Bank

Israeli occupation  soldiers abducted, on Wednesday at dawn, at least thirteen Palestinians from their homes, in several parts of the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported.

The PPS office in Nablus, in northern West Bank, said the soldiers abducted Moath Thouqan, the son of imprisoned university lecturer Ghassan Thouqan, from the city, and Hasan Bakheet, from Balata refugee camp, in addition to Sameh Hammad Mansour, from Kafr Qalil village.

In Jenin, in northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Ali Taiseer Zakarna, 20, from Qabatia town, south of the city.

Furthermore, the soldiers installed many roadblocks around villages and towns in Jenin governorate, before stopping and searching dozens of cars, and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.

The Israeli occupation soldiers also invaded Birzeit town, north of Ramallah in central West Bank, searched homes and abducted Issa Eyad Shalalda.

In Bethlehem, the soldiers searched several homes and abducted Farouq Abu Aker.

In Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank, the soldiers abducted Ziad Banat, in addition to Omar Mohammad al-Heeh, from Surif town, north of the city, and Ziad Nawaj’a, from Surif town, north of Hebron.

Israeli Occupation Forces Demolish Water Pipeline in Jordan Valley Village

Israeli bulldozers destroyed a water pipeline supplying the northern Jordan Valley village of Ras al-Ahmar with fresh drinking water, before dawn on Wednesday.

According to a local official, Mutaz Bisharat, four Israeli bulldozers raided the Ras al-Ahmar village, along with seven Israeli military jeeps, and began to destroy the pipeline.

Bisharat added, according to Ma’an, that Israeli bulldozers razed the land for five hours, in order to create a military road.

He pointed out that the destroyed pipeline was used by local Palestinian farmers, for drinking water and crop irrigation.

Israeli occupation forces destroyed a water pipeline of 1,500 meters and 6 inches in length, and created a 2.5 kilometer-long road linking the main road of Ras al-Ahmar village to the Msheibek area, which Israel declared a closed military zone.

Locals reported that, while Israeli forces razed the land, Palestinian residents were prevented from entering or exiting the area.

Khirbet Ras al-Ahmar is one of approximately 180 Palestinian villages, in the occupied West Bank, located on lands designated as ‘Area C’ — the area of the West bank under full Israeli security and civilian control — according to Israeli human rights NGO B’Tselem.

The village is often raided by Israeli forces, who perform various military operations in the area, forcing residents of the village to leave their homes for several hours or even days.

Additionally, the village is a designated Israeli military “firing zone.” Nearly 20 percent of the occupied West Bank has been declared “firing zones” since the 1970s, but, according to the UN, nearly 80 percent of these areas are not in fact used for military training.

Rights groups have accused Israel of declaring some parts of the West Bank as firing zones as an attempt to annex these areas.

Israeli Occupation Soldiers Demolish A Kindergarten And A Women’s Center Near Jerusalem

Israeli occupation soldiers invaded, on Wednesday morning, Jabal al-Baba Bedouin Palestinian community, southeast of occupied East Jerusalem, and demolished a kindergarten and a women’s center.

The Israeli occupation soldiers surrounded the Palestinian community and assaulted many residents, before demolishing the kindergarten and the women’s center.

The attack is part of a series of violations, and constant Israeli attempts to displace the Palestinians from Jabal al-Baba, in addition to al-Khan al-Ahmar, and numerous communities, for the construction and expansion of its illegal Jewish-only colonies, in direct violation of International Law.

The illegal Israeli colonialist plan, known as ‘E1 Jerusalem Plan’ meant to encircle the eastern part of Jerusalem with colonial settlements to surround the city, and claim it for Israel, denying the Palestinian people’s historical and ongoing claim to the city.

The plan, which began in 2005 and has vastly expanded the illegal Israeli colonial settlements on Palestinian lands, is set to displace hundreds of thousands of residents from their homes and add them to the Palestinian refugee population – the largest refugee population in the world.

UN Rights Expert: Demolition of Khan al-Ahmar Could Amount to War Crime

Under the 1998 Rome Statute, the proposed demolition of Khan al-Ahmar, by Israeli occupying forces, could amount to war crimes if the demolition proceeds.

Khan al-Ahmar has been under intense pressure, by Israeli forces, to abandon its land, after Israel’s government expressed the desire to connect the Ma’aleh Adumim settlement to Jerusalem, annexing an area inside the Palestinian West Bank known as the E1 area.

Michael Lynk said, in a statement, on Tuesday, that forcing the transfer of a protected community would be a grave breach of the Fourth Geneva Convention.

Israeli Courts approved the demolition of Khan al-Ahmar in May, but, after weeks of intense protest, the same courts halted the plan until Aug. 1.

The Bedouin village on the Mount of Olives is also part of the E1 area between Ma’ale Adumim and East Jerusalem.

The relevant crimes, under the 1998 Rome Statute, include: (a) (iv) Extensive destruction and appropriation of property, not justified by military necessity and carried out unlawfully and wantonly; (vii) Unlawful deportation or transfer or unlawful confinement; (b) (viii) The transfer, directly or indirectly, by the Occupying Power of parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies, or the deportation or transfer of all or parts of the population of the occupied territory within or outside this territory.

Lynk is calling on the international community to condemn the acts of the Israeli military in annexing large areas of the occupied Palestinian West Bank. But, he also says that mere condemnation will not be enough.

“To be effective, the international community must be prepared to hold Israeli decision-makers legally and diplomatically accountable for their unlawful actions,” Lynk said. “They must demand that Israel halts all measures that could result in forcible transfer, enlist diplomatic and political support to end the systemic human rights abuses to which Palestinians in the occupied territory are subjected, and ensure the occupation is ended.”
