New Measures Tightening Israeli Blockade of Gaza, More Abduction of Civilians in the West Bank, Provocative Violations of Al-Aqsa Mosque Sanctity July 10, 2018 Editor's Note: While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of David, Solomon, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. The following news stories are just examples of the Israeli occupation government violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis. Freedom Flotilla II carrying activists, patients, and some injured Gazans has set sail from Gaza's seaport, marking a new attempt to break Israel's crippling blockade on the enclave. July 10, 2018, GAZA, (PIC) + - Freedom Flotilla II carrying activists, patients, and some injured Gazans has set sail from Gaza's seaport, marking a new attempt to break Israel's crippling blockade on the enclave. Salah Abdul Atti, one of the organizers, called on the UN to protect the flotilla and those on board and pressure Israel to allow it to reach Cyprus. Abdul Atti also called on international organizations to work for the release of the captain of the first flotilla, Sahel al-Amoudi, who is still being detained by Israel following the interception of the boat. Gaza has been blockaded by Israel for over a decade, preventing vital supplies reaching Palestinians there. The 11-year-long Israeli blockade has long prevented the Gaza Strip from receiving much needed humanitarian aid, including foodstuff, medical equipment, and clean water. Since protests began on March 30 at the Gaza border, protesters have been violently quelled by the Israeli army. At least 139 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli gunfire while thousands were wounded. The majority of those killed were non-violent protesters, as well as journalists, bystanders and paramedics. Only a small number were seeking to breach or damage the border fence, although they too were unarmed. No Israelis have been killed. Tightening the Israeli blockade against Gaza Earlier Monday, the Israeli occupation government Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and War Minister Avigdor Lieberman decided to increase pressure on the Gaza Strip in response to the fire kites and balloons sent from the enclave to neighboring Israeli settlements. The new measures include reducing the fishing area from 9 to 6 nautical miles and closing Karem Abu Salem crossing, which means that nothing can be imported or exported into/out of the Gaza Strip. All that is to be permitted into Gaza is urgent humanitarian aid in certain cases. Israeli Occupation Soldiers Abducts Two Palestinians, Injures One, In Hebron July 10, 2018 12:38 PM IMEMC News Israeli occupation soldiers abducted, on Monday at dawn, two young Palestinian men, and injured another, in the southern West Bank governorate of Hebron. The army claimed the Palestinian was not carrying any form of identification, and was “concealing a knife.” Israeli Bulldozers Level Lands in Gaza July 9, 2018 9:26 PM IMEMC News & Agencies Several Israeli military vehicles raided the eastern borders of the besieged Gaza Strip on Monday morning. Locals said, according to Ma’an News Agency, that six Israeli military vehicles raided into the area near the eastern borders of Gaza City, razed and leveled lands while Israeli forces were putting up a security fence from inside the borders. Earlier today, a number of Israeli military vehicles raided into Al-Breij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. Four large D-9 Israeli military bulldozers reportedly entered dozens of meters into lands near the “return camps” as drones flew overhead. Military bulldozers began razing lands and setting up a security fence; no shootings were reported. Israeli military incursions inside the besieged Gaza Strip and near the “buffer zone,” which lies on both land and sea sides of Gaza, have long been a near-daily occurrence. The Israeli occupation army also regularly detains and opens fire on unarmed Palestinian fishermen, shepherds, and farmers along the border areas if they approach the buffer zone, as the authorities have not made clear the precise area of the designated zone. The practice has in effect destroyed much of the agricultural and fishing sector of the blockaded coastal enclave, which has been under an Israeli air, land, and sea blockade for 10 years. Israeli MKs Carry Out Provocative Tour in Al-Aqsa Coutrtyards July 9, 2018 8:58 PM IMEMC News & Agencies Three Israeli extremist lawmakers entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound on Monday, provoking Muslim devotees, Palestinian media reported. According to Al Ray, the provocative tour came a week after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gave permission to his legislators to enter the compound. Amir Ohana and Ehud Glick, from the ruling right-wing Likud Party, and Shiri Muallem, from the extreme right-wing Jewish Home Party, known for their strong racist anti-Arab and anti-Palestinian views, toured the Muslim compound under heavy police supervision. The three, who support the idea of building the Jewish temple on the ruins of Al-Aqsa Mosque, which they advocate its destruction, were accompanied on their provocative tour by hardline Jewish fanatics who share similar thoughts. The MKs who entered the compound were Amir Ohana (Likud), Yehuda Glick (Likud) and Cheri Maalam (Jewish Home), according to the PNN. The three are known for their anti-Arab positions, and are supporters of establishing of the alleged temple mount in the place of Al-Aqsa mosque. The lawmakers and their entourage left the compound after completing their tour and taking pictures and recording video, talking about turning the Muslim holy place into a Jewish temple. Another Israeli Likud member and the Israeli Minister of Agriculture entered the compound on Sunday, taking a similar tour of its yards and plaza. The Muslim Awqaf (endowment), which is in charge of Muslim holy places in Jerusalem, has condemned Netanyahu’s decision to allow lawmakers and officials to enter the mosque area, warning that such moves could provoke a religious strife. Israeli Occupation Government Ministers Storm Al-Aqsa Mosque July 8, 2018 7:55 PM IMEMC News & Agencies Two Israeli occupation government ministers, on Sunday morning, stormed the court yards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, shortly after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu‘s decision to allow the entry of Israeli ministers and Knesset members. Jerusalemite sources said, according to Al Ray, that the Israeli Minister of Agriculture, Uri Ariel, and the Israeli Minister of Culture, Miri Regev, stormed the courtyards with a number of settlers, and carried out a provocative tour in the mosque, reciting the Talmud, under the guard of Israeli special forces. The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs condemned the action, stressing that this intrusion comes after the decision of Israeli Prime Minister to allow the entry of Israeli ministers to the holy compounds. President Mahmoud Abbas’ advisor on religious affairs, Mahmoud al-Habbash, Sunday, denounced the provocative tour. According to WAFA, Habbash maintained that the continuation of these incursions with the blessing of the Israeli political system, particularly following Netanyahu’s ease on restrictions on such visits, earlier this month, requires world countries to uphold their responsibilities to promptly intervene and take actual steps to put an end to such violations, in order to achieve world peace. Habbash said: “Israel, by its actions, is trying to put an end to the peace process, which he stressed proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that it does not want peace, nor does it exist on its agenda.” He slammed the Israeli government as ‘criminal’ and in practice of systematic terrorism against the Palestinian people, their Islamic and Christian holy sites. He called on the international community and human rights organizations to take a serious stand against these incursions and attacks, which he stressed provoke Muslims’ feelings worldwide and can only lead to a religious war. *** Share the link of this article with your facebook friendsFair Use Notice This site contains copyrighted material the
