252,000 Syrians Flee Dair Ez-Zoar Countryside, Scores Killed Daily in Air Strikes, Bombardment, and Clashes

252,000 Syrian refugees flee countryside of Dair Ez-Zoar due to ongoing battles

Deir Ezzor (Syria News) --

Nearly 252 thousand Syrian refugees have fled from the eastern and western countryside of Dair Ez-Zoar due to the military operations, sources told Enab Baladi News on Tuesday.

The sources informed that about 252 thousand persons fled from the villages of the eastern and western countryside of Dair Ez-Zoar toward the villages located east of the Euphrates River.

Meanwhile, the Syrian Network for Human Rights reported, early on November, that 104 civilians, including 29 children from Raqqa and Dair Ez-Zoar, were killed by the international coalition operations against the Islamic State group.

The network also documented the killing of 44 civilians, who were killed by what it called extremist Islamic groups, in Raqqa and Dair Ez-Zoar.

It is noteworthy that dozens of civilians were either killed or wounded in the last few days, due to heavy shelling conducted on the villages of the eastern countryside of Dair Ez-Zoar that accompanied the advance of al-Assad forces into the area.

Continuous clashes result in the advancement of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham in the clash areas in the western countryside of Aleppo

SOHR, 11/11/2017

Aleppo Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: areas in the vicinity of Aleppo city and its outskirts were shelled by the regime forces, which caused material damage, and the regime forces targeted places in al-Leramoun area but no information about casualties, while the clashes continue between Nur al-Dien al-Zenki Movement against Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, in areas in the western countryside of Aleppo.

The clashes are concentrated in Ewijel area, where Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham managed to advance and control sites sued to be controlled by the Movement, and the clashes were accompanied by exchange of targeting in the contact areas between them in the western countryside of Aleppo, which caused the death of a young man and injured several others.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published during the past few hours that clashes continue between Nur al-Din al-Zenki Movement against Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, where the western countryside of Aleppo is witnessing attacks by each party in the areas of clash that has been taking place for days between both parties.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored this afternoon Saturday 11th of November 2017 that violent clashes erupted in Ewijel village and in Darat Azza town, where Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham carried out a violent attack against Al-Zenki movement in the village, but Nur al-Din al-Zenki Movement immediately carried out an attack on the town of Darat Azza and controlled checkpoints and locations within the town.

The area is witnessing exchange of shelling between both factions, which are two of the largest factions operating in the western countryside of Aleppo, while SOHR received information about the withdrawal of Al-Zenki fighters out of the city.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented casualties in the ranks of both parties, where at least 3 fighters of Nur al-Din al-Zenki  movement were killed and others injured, and at least 10 members of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham including a judge of Egyptian nationality were killed and others were injured.

The death tolls are expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation and due to information about others casualties died in clashes in other areas of the western countryside of Aleppo, also 2 children brothers were killed and their family members were injured in shelling on Urem al-Kubra because of the clashes between Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and al-Zenki Movement, also some civilians were injured in Darat Azza town due to the clashes and exchange of targeting in the town.

In Daraa Province 3 citizens were killed, they are: a media activist assassinated by unknown assailants in Jassem, and a woman was killed in an IED explosion on the road between the towns of Rakhm and Eastern al-Kark, and another woman was killed in shelling by Jaysh Khalid Ibn Al-Walid which swore allegiance to the “Islamic State” organization in the Yarmouk Basin in the western countryside of Daraa.

In Al-Hasaka Province 3 citizens were killed in mine explosion in a car carrying them in Markadah area in the southern countryside of Al-Hasakah.

In Al-Raqqah Province 2 men were killed in a landmine explosion in Al-Raqqah city and in Kdiaran village.

In Deir Ezzor Province 2 citizens were killed, they are: a man was killed in a mine explosion in Mashikh village which is controlled by the Syria Democratic Forces, during his return to his home in the village to bring some stuff, and a man was killed in shelling by the regime forces on Hwijat Katea’.

In Idlib Province 2 children were killed by the explosion of a bomb that had not exploded previously in Tal Salmo in the vicinity of Abu al-Duhur town in the eastern countryside of Idlib.

In Rif Dimashq Province a fighter of the Islamic factions from Jesrin town in the eastern Ghouta was killed during clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them in outskirts of Jobar area east of the capital.

In Homs province a young man was killed in shelling by the regime forces on areas in Talbiseh city.

reliable sources informed the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that a young man died in the Eastern Ghouta as a result of his poor health situation, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the young man is from Hammuriyya city and he died due to the lack of medicine and necessary treatment for his condition, and also due to the lack of medical supplies needed to save him, because of the siege on the Eastern Ghouta

Unidentified gunmen also open fire at a checkpoint of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham near Hish town in the southern countryside of Idlib, which killed 2 fighters of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham.

While a fighter of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham was killed, he is a media man in Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and was killed during his coverage for the clashes between Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, in the northeastern countryside of Hama.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also documented the death of 4 fighters of the Syria Democratic Forces in shelling and clashes in the countryside of Deir Ezzor, also 8 members of the Organization were killed in the same clashes.

And 14 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in shelling and clashes against the “Islamic State” organization and the factions.

At least 12 fighters of the “Islamic State” organization of non-Syrian nationalities were killed in clashes, bombing by warplanes and helicopters and shelling on areas of their presence.

61 were killed yesterday including 11 members of the regime forces and loyalists and 17 other civilians

In Deir Ezzor Province 3 citizens were killed, they are a man and a woman were killed in shooting by the Turkish border guards during their attempts to cross the border between the countryside of Idlib and Iskenderun, and a woman was killed in Jdid Ekydat village which is controlled by the Syria Democratic Forces in the eastern banks of Euphrates River, as a result unidentified sniper shot.

In Al-Raqqah Province a man and his granddaughter were killed in a landmine explosion in their home in Rumaila neighbourhood of Al-Raqqah city yesterday.

In Rif Dimashq Province a citizen was killed as a result of shelling by the regime forces on areas in Nashabiyah town in Al-Marj area in the Eastern Ghouta.

In Daraa Province a man was shot by unknown gunmen in al-Muzayrib town in the countryside of Daraa.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also learned from several reliable sources that a child died in Douma city, which is the stronghold of Jaysh al-Islam in the Eastern Ghouta, due to his poor health situation, because of the lack of food and treatment due to the siege on the eastern Ghouta.

Also 3 men were killed and several others were injured as a result of the bombing by warplanes over the past 24 hours on areas in al-Salhiyyeh village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, while 4 persons were killed in bombing by warplanes on areas east of Euphrates, while a man and his daughter were killed in bombardment by warplanes on areas in Hajin village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor this morning.

At least 17 fighters including 12 of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham were killed in aerial bombardment and artillery shelling of their controlled areas in the northeastern countryside of Hama, and among fighters of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham there were commanders of non-Syrian nationalities.

And 11 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in shelling and clashes against the “Islamic State” organization and the factions.

At least 16 fighters of the “Islamic State” organization of non-Syrian nationalities were killed in clashes, bombing by warplanes and helicopters and shelling on areas of their presence.

Coalition Strikes Continue Against ISIS in Syria, Iraq

SOUTHWEST ASIA, Nov. 10, 2017 —

U.S. and coalition military forces continued to attack the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, conducting 23 strikes consisting of 28 engagements Nov. 6-9, Combined Joint Task Force Operation Inherent Resolve officials reported today.

Officials reported details of the strikes, noting that assessments of results are based on initial reports.

Strikes in Syria

Yesterday in Syria, coalition military forces conducted 11 strikes consisting of 11 engagements against ISIS targets:

-- Near Abu Kamal, a strike destroyed four ISIS logistics hubs.

-- Near Dayr Az Zawr, 10 strikes engaged eight ISIS tactical units and destroyed an ISIS line of communication, four fighting positions and an ISIS vehicle.

No strikes were reported in Syria on Nov. 8.

On Nov. 7, coalition military forces conducted six strikes consisting of nine engagements against ISIS targets:

-- Near Abu Kamal, a strike destroyed a command-and-control center.

-- Near Dayr Az Zawr, four strikes engaged three ISIS tactical units and destroyed a tactical vehicle and an explosive hazard.

-- Near Shaddadi, a strike destroyed an ISIS fighting position.

On Nov. 6, coalition military forces conducted four strikes consisting of six engagements against ISIS targets:

-- Near Abu Kamal, two strikes engaged two ISIS tactical units and destroyed three command-and-control centers, an anti-air artillery system, a unmanned aerial vehicle facility, a tactical vehicle and an ISIS-held building.

Strikes in Iraq

Yesterday in Iraq, coalition military forces conducted a strike consisting of one engagement against ISIS targets near Qaim, which engaged an ISIS tactical unit and destroyed a command-and-control center.

No strikes were reported in Iraq on Nov. 8.

On Nov. 7, coalition military forces conducted a strike consisting of one engagement against ISIS targets near Qaim, which destroyed an ISIS-held building and engaged an ISIS tactical unit.

No strikes were reported in Iraq on Nov. 6.

-- Near Dayr Az Zawr, two strikes destroyed an ISIS line of communication and a fighting position.

On Nov. 4, coalition military forces conducted six strikes consisting of 23 engagements against ISIS targets:

-- Near Abu Kamal, two strikes engaged two ISIS tactical units and destroyed two ISIS-held buildings, a command-and-control node, a weapons cache and an ISIS motorcycle.

-- Near Dayr Az Zawr, four strikes engaged three ISIS tactical units and destroyed four fighting positions, two lines of communication, three ISIS vehicles, two fighting positions, a vehicle-borne bomb and an explosive hazard.

Strikes in Iraq

Yesterday in Iraq, coalition military forces conducted a strike consisting of two engagements against ISIS targets near Qayyarah, which destroyed two weapons caches.

On Nov. 4, coalition military forces conducted a strike consisting of one engagement against ISIS targets near Qaim, which engaged an ISIS tactical unit and destroyed an ISIS-held building.

Additionally, coalition military forces conducted 11 strikes consisting of 12 engagements in Syria on Nov. 3:

-- Near Abu Kamal, a strike engaged an ISIS tactical unit.

-- Near Dayr Az Zawr, nine strikes engaged eight ISIS tactical units and destroyed five explosive hazards, four ISIS fighting positions, a command-and-control center and an ISIS motorcycle.

Officials also provided details today on Nov. 2 strikes for which the information was not previously available:

-- Near Abu Kamal on Nov. 2, a strike engaged an ISIS tactical unit and destroyed three roadside bombs, one road block, and damaged nine ISIS supply routes.
