Scores of Syrians Still Killed Daily in Air Strikes, Bombardment, and Clashes, Without Any Hope for an End

27 persons including 8 members of the regime forces and the gunmen loyal to them, and about 15 citizens were killed yesterday by bombing, explosions and other circumstances

The number of people who joined yesterday to the convoy of the Martyrs of the Syrian Revolution has increased to 6 persons including one fighter.

In Al-Raqqah province, 4 persons were killed by mines explosion in Al-Raqqah city.

And in Homs province, a person died affected by the injury he had as a result of the fall of shells on areas in the north of Homs city.

And in Rif Dimashq province, a fighter of Al-Rahman Corps was killed by targeting by a drone to the outskirts of Zamlka city in the Eastern Ghouta

And warplanes -whose identity is not known whether they were Russian or regime’s warplanes- committed a massacre in the crossing near al-Tawateha area opposite to Hajin area, while the civilians were trying to cross the Euphrates River, and the massacre killed 5 citizens including 2 brothers, while 4 citizens were killed as a result of bombing by warplanes believed to belong to the International Coalition on areas east of Euphrates River.

While a brigadier, a colonel and a major were killed as a result of targeting their helicopter by a guided missile in the southwest of Rif Dimashq.

And 5 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them died affected by the injury they had in shelling and clashes against the “Islamic State” organization and the factions.

And 4 fighters at least of the “Islamic State” organization of non-Syrian nationalities were found dead, as a result of clashes and bombing by warplanes and helicopters as well as shelling on their positions.

The number of people who joined yesterday to the convoy of the Martyrs of the Syrian Revolution has increased to 4 persons.

In Rif Dimashq province, 7 citizens were killed including 5 fighters of the rebel and Islamic factions were killed during clashes against the regime forces in the southwestern Rif Dimashq, and a man was killed by shelling by the regime forces on areas in Harasta city, as well as a woman who was killed as a result of fall of shells on places in Darbal area controlled by the regime forces in the southwestern Rif Dimashq.

And in Al-Raqqah province, 3 persons were killed by an explosion of mines in Al-Raqqah city.

And in Homs province, 2 bodies of a man and his son were found dead in Baba Amr neighborhood, controlled by the regime forces in Homs city, after they went missing for 2 months, and no information about the reasons or circumstances about their death so far.

And in Idlib province, the body of an elderly man and his granddaughter were found murdered at the outskirts of Jisr Al-Shughur city in the western countryside of Idlib, and the conditions and reasons of their deaths remain unknown until now.

And in Deir Ezzor province, a man was killed by a landmine explosion in Al-Busayrah area in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

And 14 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them died affected by the injury they had in shelling and clashes against the “Islamic State” organization and the factions.

And 13 fighters at least of the “Islamic State” organization of non-Syrian nationalities were found dead, as a result of clashes and bombing by warplanes and helicopters as well as shelling on their positions.

A day after taking down a helicopter and its crew were killed, ongoing battles in the southwest of Damascus

Hit-and-run battles are still ongoing in several areas in the southwestern Rif Dimashq between the regime forces and their allied militiamen against Jebel Al-Sheikh factions, most prominently Hayaat Tahrir Al-Sham, where the violent clashes are taking place between both parties in Tel Bardia area and other areas in the region, where each party seeks to achieve an advancement at the expense of the other, amid information that Hayaat Tahrir Al-Sham and the factions managed to control points the regime forces advanced to in these hit-and-run battles, and the clashes are accompanied by heavy shelling and an exchange of shelling between both parties, and there is information about human losses.

It worth mentioning that the sky of southwestern Rif Dimashq witnessed yesterday the fall of helicopter of the regime forces after it was targeted by a guided missile, killing its crew which is 3 officers, brigadier, colonel and a major, and the SOHR published yesterday that  the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented the death of more members of the regime forces as a result of the fall of a helicopter in the southwest of Rif Dimashq on Friday morning, the 1stof December 2017, where it is rose to 3 officers (a brigadier, a colonel and a major), the number of regime’s members who were killed as a result of targeting their helicopter by a guided missile on the morning of today in the southwest of Rif Dimashq.

The Syrian Observatory published that with the continuation of the military operations in the south-west of Rif Dimashq, between the regime forces backed by armed militiamen loyal to them against Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the rebel and Islamic factions, following continuous attacks by the regime forces which are accompanied daily by bombardment by the helicopters and the regime forces, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that a helicopter was targeted by a guided missile, and smoke was seen where the helicopter fell in the south-west of Rif Dimashq, and the destiny of the crew is not known until now, in which the helicopter was flying over the area in a mission to drop explosive barrels, such missions are carried out in the area daily.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published before Thursday that the intensity of the clashes has escalated during the past 72 hours, in an attempt by the regime forces to advance and control more areas southwest of Rif Dimashq, also the regime’s helicopters dropped today at least 26 barrel bombs on Beit Jinn farm, al-Dahr al-Aswad, Tal Marwan, Mughr al-Meer, in conjunction with the intense shelling of shells and missiles believed to be ground-to-ground causing more destruction. These violent clashes and the escalation of shelling come as a continuation of the aerial bombardments which has almost ended its 10th consecutive week of intense artillery and aerial bombardment.

Helicopters have dropped during this period more than 750 barrel bombs on the southwestern of Rif Dimashq, along with hundreds of missiles believed to be ground-to-ground, hundreds of artillery, mortar and tank shells on villages, towns, farms and hills of the southwest of Rif Dimashq, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of tens of fighters during the clashes, also tens of members of the regime forces were killed in the same clashes, and in early November the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received information from intersected sources that the regime forces are making military preparations to carry out a massive attack on the besieged southwest of Rif Dimashq, in order to control the areas that are controlled by the factions.

The preparations came after an attack that took place on the 3rd of November  2017, started by detonating a booby trapped vehicle in Hodr town, followed by a violent attack by the factions during which they managed to connect their controlled areas in southwest of Rif Dimashq with their controlled areas in the northern countryside of Quneitra, then after hours the regime forces broke that corridor and re-besieged the southwest of Rif Dimashq, where the violent clashes, the bombings and the accompanying shelling have killed at least 20 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, in addition to the injury of tens others with varying severity, while tens fighters of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham were killed and injured, the sources also confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that this operation is led by a prominent officer in the ranks of the regime forces, who had a major role in the operations of re-controlling the neighborhoods east of the capital Damascus.

The operations east of Damascus and in the Eastern Ghouta and other operations in Rif Dimashq, this process also comes as a continuation for the operations of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities and Hezbollah, witnessed by Al-Qalamoun during the past months, the latest of which was against Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and its allied Islamic factions, and also against the “Islamic State” organization in the western Qalamoun in the northwest of Rif Dimashq, which ended with displacements for thousands of civilians and members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, the factions and the “Islamic State” organization to the Syrian north and Deir Ezzor Province.

Calm prevails the Eastern Ghouta after the airstrikes that killed and wounded large number of citizens and raised the death toll to 165 in 19 days of shelling

Rif Dimashq Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the calm prevails the Eastern Ghouta, where its cities and towns have been witnessing a quiet monitored by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights in terms of shelling by the regime forces and warplanes, coincided with a calm on the battlefronts between the regime forces supported by the loyalist gunmen against the Islamic Movement of Ahrar Al-Sham, this calm came after air raids which caused a large number of casualties and wounded, where it rose to 10, the number of persons who were killed and documented by the Syrian Observatory of Rights on Saturday the 2nd of December 2017, they are 6 citizens were killed in a massacre carried out by warplanes in Arbin city which is controlled by Rahman Corps, while 2 women were killed in raids on Harasta city which is controlled by the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham, also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of a man and a woman affected by injuries they had in raids on Mesraba town (which is controlled by Jaysh al-Islam) several days ago, also the aerial bombardment wounded more than 20 people with varying severity.

The death toll has increased to 165 casualties including 35 children under the age of eighteen, 18 citizen women over the age of eighteen and 4 members of the Civil Defense, the number of people who have been killed since Tuesday the 14th of November 2017, in which the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 10 people today, Saturday they are 6 citizens were killed in a massacre carried out by warplanes in Arbin city which is controlled by Rahman Corps, while 2 women were killed in raids on Harasta city which is controlled by the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham, while two citizens were killed on Wednesday, one of them was killed by shelling on Arbin and the other died affected by the injury he had by earlier rocket shelling on Hazza, while 4 citizens including 2 children who were killed on Tuesday by raids on Hamuriya.

In the mean time, 18 citizens were killed yesterday, Monday including 2 children and a woman by bombardment by warplanes on areas in Mesraba, Madyara and Arbin as well as artillery shelling on Douma, and the Syrian Observatory also documented the death of 25 citizens on Sunday including 5 children and 3 citizen women by raids on Mesraba and Madyara, as well as rocket shelling on Douma, also 11 citizens including 5 children and a woman were killed on Thursday due to raids on areas in the cities and the towns of Harasta, Douma and Ein Tarma, raids on Arbin city, rocket shelling on Ein Tarma and Jesrin, affected by the injury they had by raids on Hazza and Mesraba, artillery shelling on Arbin city, while 3 children were killed on Wednesday by artillery shelling on Ein Tarma and Harasta city in the Eastern Ghouta, while 3 citizens including a woman died on Tuesday affected by the injury they had by artillery and rocket shelling previously on Arbin city and Mesraba town.

Moreover, 10 citizens including 4 children and 2 citizen women were killed on Monday, by artillery and rocket shelling on Arbin, Madyara, Hamuriya and Kafr Batna, while 17 citizens including a child were killed on Sunday, by artillery and rocket shelling on Douma, Mesraba, Madyara, Hamuriya, while on Saturday at least 14 were killed including a child girl and 4 women as a result of raids on Madyara and Harasta, and artillery shelling on Hazza and Hamuriya, while 20 citizens including 6 children and 2 citizen women were killed on Friday, as a result of artillery, aerial and rocket shelling on Douma, Harasta and Arbin, while 14 citizens including 4 children and women were killed on Thursday, due to raids and land shelling on Arbin, Beit Sawa, Douma, Hamuriya and Ein Tarma, and the casualties who were killed on Wednesday, are 8 citizens including two children they were killed by raids and artillery shelling Arbin, Saqba, Hamuriya and Douma, while the casualties who were killed on Tuesday are 4 citizens were killed by shelling on Arbin and Madyara, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented the injury of about 555 persons at least including tens of children and citizen women, some of them are still in serious situation, which may raise the death toll.

Heavy shelling with tens of shells and missiles targets the southwest of Rif Dimashq with the continuation of clashes

The town of Mughr al-Mir in the southwest of Rif Dimashq witnessed intensive shelling by the regime forces, who targeted it with more than 30 missiles believed to be ground-to-ground and artillery shells which caused more destruction to the infrastructure to the property of citizens, in conjunction with shelling by the regime forces on areas on the Beit Jinn Farm and its vicinity, amid the continuation of the clashes southwest of Rif Dimashq between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the factions of al-Sheikh Mount; most prominent of them is Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, amid violent clashes between both parties in the area of Tal Bardaya and other places in the area, where each party is trying to advance at the expense of the other, amid information that Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and the factions regained control of points to which the regime forces advanced, and the clashes were accompanied by intense exchange of between both parties, and information about casualties, it should be noted that It worth mentioning that the sky of southwestern Rif Dimashq witnessed yesterday the fall of helicopter of the regime forces after it was targeted by a guided missile, killing its crew which is 3 officers, brigadier, colonel and a major.

US-Led Military Strikes Continue Against ISIS in Syria, Iraq

From a Combined Joint Task Force Operation Inherent Resolve News Release

SOUTHWEST ASIA, Dec. 1, 2017 —

U.S. and coalition military forces have continued to attack the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, conducting 19 strikes consisting of 24 engagements between Nov. 27 and yesterday, Combined Joint Task Force Operation Inherent Resolve officials reported today.

Operation Inherent Resolve Combined Joint Task Force Operation Inherent Resolve continues to work by, with and through regional partners to militarily defeat the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or ISIS, in order to enable whole-of-coalition governmental actions to increase regional stability.

Officials reported details of the most recent strikes, noting that assessments of results are based on initial reports.

Strikes in Syria

Yesterday near Abu Kamal in Syria, coalition military forces conducted five strikes that engaged five ISIS tactical units and destroyed an ISIS fighting position, a tactical vehicle and an explosive hazard.

On Nov. 29 near Abu Kamal, coalition military forces conducted three strikes that engaged two ISIS tactical units and destroyed a tactical vehicle, two ISIS watercraft, a heavy weapon, five ISIS vehicles and four supply routes.

On Nov. 28 near Abu Kamal, coalition military forces conducted five strikes that engaged five ISIS tactical units and destroyed three ISIS watercraft, an ISIS barge, a weapons cache and 11 ISIS vehicles.

On Nov. 27 near Abu Kamal, coalition military forces conducted three strikes that engaged three ISIS tactical units and destroyed a tactical vehicle, two ISIS watercraft, a rocket system and five ISIS vehicles.

Strikes in Iraq

Yesterday in Iraq, coalition military forces conducted two strikes consisting of two engagements against ISIS targets.

-- Near Rawah, a strike destroyed an ISIS construction vehicle.

-- Near Rutbah, a strike destroyed an ISIS bunker.

There were no reported strikes conducted in Iraq on Nov. 29.

On Nov. 28 near Qaim in Iraq, coalition military forces conducted a strike that destroyed an ISIS fighting position.

There were no reported strikes conducted in Iraq on Nov. 27.

US-Led Inherent Resolve Strikes Target ISIS in Syria, Iraq

SOUTHWEST ASIA, Nov. 27, 2017 —

U.S. and coalition military forces have continued to attack the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria yesterday, conducting 11 strikes consisting of 36 engagements Nov. 24 and 25, Combined Joint Task Force Operation Inherent Resolve officials reported today.

Officials reported details of the most recent strikes, noting that assessments of results are based on initial reports and adding that no strikes have yet been reported as having taken place in Syria or Iraq yesterday.

In addition, officials today reported details of a Nov. 23 strike consisting of one engagement near Abu Kamal, Syria, for which the details were unavailable in time for the most recent previous report. The strike engaged an ISIS tactical unit and destroyed an ISIS vehicle.

Strikes in Syria

On Nov. 24 in Syria, coalition military forces conducted four strikes consisting of seven engagements against ISIS targets:

-- Near Abu Kamal, three strikes engaged three ISIS tactical units and destroyed two ISIS vehicles.

-- Near Shadaddi, a strike damaged an ISIS supply route.

On Nov. 25 in Syria, coalition military forces conducted five strikes consisting of eight engagements near Abu Kamal, engaging six ISIS tactical units and destroying four ISIS vehicles and a headquarters.

Strikes in Iraq

On Nov. 24 in Iraq, coalition military forces conducted two strikes consisting of 21 engagements against ISIS targets:

-- Near Baaj, a strike engaged two ISIS tactical units and destroyed six ISIS vehicles and two ISIS-held buildings.

-- Near Mosul, a strike damaged an ISIS supply route.

No strikes were reported in Iraq for Nov. 25, officials said.

On Nov. 19 near Abu Kamal, two strikes consisting of two engagements damaged four ISIS tunnel systems.

Strikes in Iraq

There were no reported strikes conducted in Iraq yesterday.

On Nov. 22 near Qayyarah in Iraq, coalition military forces conducted two strikes consisting of two engagements that destroyed an ISIS headquarters and a vehicle-borne bomb factory.

On Nov. 21 in Iraq, coalition military forces conducted six strikes consisting of nine engagements against ISIS targets:

-- Near Qaim, a strike engaged an ISIS tactical unit and destroyed an ISIS vehicle.

-- Near Qayyarah, two strikes engaged an ISIS tactical unit and destroyed an ISIS air defense headquarters, a fighting position and 22 ISIS-held buildings.

-- Near Rawah, three strikes destroyed two ISIS tunnels, two weapons caches and an ISIS bunker.

There were no reported strikes conducted in Iraq on Nov. 20.
