21 civilians killed and injured in a new carnage by Houthi’s shelling on Yemen’s Taiz cit

6 civilians have been killed and 15 others have been wounded on Tuesday in a new shelling by forces of Houthi-Saleh alliance on residential neighborhoods eastern Yemen’s Taiz city. Local sources told Al-Masdaronline.
 
The sources said that the shell fired by Houthi-Saleh forces from Taiz international airport fell near a public market in Sofitel round eastern the city, and led to the death of 6 civilians and injury of 15 others Tuesday’s morning.
 
Since dawn early hours, forces of Houthi-Saleh have been heavily firing rockets and missiles on residential areas in the city including Thaabat, Al-Jahmalya, Salah and Al-Qahirah castle, the shelling comes from sites controlled by Houthi-Saleh forces in Sofitel hill, Taiz airport and the 60th street. Added the sources.

40 fighters from forces of Houthi armed group and former president Ali Abdullah Saleh have been killed and injured in fierce fighting with Yemen’s national army backed by popular resistance fighters western Karish area of Lahj province southern Yemen.
 
Spokesperson of Popular Resistance said in a press statement on Monday that government forces repelled an offensive by forces of Houthi-Saleh alliance western Karish.
 
The statement confirmed that 5 fighters of popular resistance have been killed and 10 others have been injured in the fighting and exchange of artillery shelling with Houthi-Saleh forces.
 
New military enforcements have arrived to back the Houthi-Saleh forces in Al-Shuraigah area of Taiz and Lahj’s Karish. The statement added.

 15 pro-government fighters killed and injured by Saudi-led coalition air strike in Al-Baidha

  A Saudi-led coalition air strike has by mistake killed 3 fighters and wounded 12 others of popular resistance groups on Monday in Al-Baidha province eastern Yemen’s capital. A local source told Al-Masdaronline.
 
The source said that the air strike hit a gathering of pro president Abdu Rabbu Mansoor Hadi’ fighter in Aqbat Thirah in the road linking Al-Baidha’s Mukirass through Abyan’s Laouder.

Arabic version of Al-Masdaronline has published the names of those killed and injured in the air strike.

A senior military commander Gen: Ali Bin Ali Al-Jaifi has been killed in A Saudi-led coalition airstrike on a funeral hall packed with thousands of mourners southern Yemen's capital on Saturday. Said a private source.
 
 Gen: Al-Jaifi is the commander of Army Reserve forces and a loyalist to former president Ali Abdullah Saleh. He has been severely injured by the air strike and spent hours in ICU before he died.
 
 An air strike by Saudi-led coalition hit a funeral hall packed with thousands of mourners southern Yemen’s capital on Saturday, 145 people have been killed and more than 525 wounded according to Houthi-run Sheba news agency and UN officials. 

Yemen’s army seizes al-Boqa'a Saudi border crossing near Houthi’s hometown

Forces of Yemen’s national army backed by popular resistance forces have seized a border crossing with Saudi Arabia on Tuesday near Houthi stronghold province of Saada, northern Yemen. Said Saada’s governor Hadi Tarshan, in a first movement towards hometown of Houthi armed group’s leader.
 
Sources reported to AL-Masadronline that pro-president Hadi forces and popular resistance fighters, led by colonel. Hashem Al-Saieid and Sheikh Musleh Bin Laflah, have fully retook Al-Boqa border crossing from the hands of Houthi gunmen and their allied forces loyal to Yemen’s former president Ali Abdullah Saleh.
 
In a broadcasted interview with Al-Jazeera news channel in Arabic on Tuesday’s night, governor of Saada has confirmed that army forces and popular fighters’ cohorts have advanced tens kilometers towards Saada city northern Yemen.

Saudi-led coalition intercepts 4 ballistic missile inside Yemen and Saudi bordering city

Patriot air-defense systems deployed to Yemen's Marib province have successfully intercepted 3 ballistic missiles launched on Wednesday by Houthi gunmen and forces loyal to former president Ali Abdullah Saleh on Yemen’s military camps in Marib east of the capital Sanaa. Said Al-Masdaronline reporter in Marib.  
 
Reporter stated that the third missile was intercepted late last Tuesday on Marib’s sky, while the latter two were intercepted Wednesday’s early morning.
 
 The Saudi-led coalition announced that its Patriot has also intercepted a fourth ballistic missile from Yemen launched by forces of Houthi-Saleh against Saudi city of Khamees Mushait on Wednesday.
 
Forces of Houthi-Saleh alliance have been increasingly intensifying their ballistic attacks against forces of legitimate government in Marib and Saudi cities bordering Yemen.
 
Yemen’s national army under leadership of President Hadi's government together with popular resistance fighters have been fighting the Houthis and Saleh loyalists who conducted a coup against the government in 2014.
 
Yemen: War turns a university professor into Qat vendor

It is a war time in Yemen and the worst times of unprecedented deteriorated living conditions that Yemenis have been going through for almost two years when the armed conflict erupted.
 
Poverty is rife, famine is broadening and war has added unbearable burdens on shoulders of people to whom and whose basic needs, the government and defacto authorities turned a blind eye and get more indulged in the conflict.
 
Abdullah Moamar Al-Hakimi, a professor of Sociology and Anthropology at Yemeni state Sana’a University has taken an urgent decision to leave his post at the university and turn into a Qat vendor in the street, an act that surprised many.
 
Speaking about this, Abdullah explained that he has been unpaid for two months and, therefore, could not meet his family needs.

Houthi de facto authorities in Yemen’s capital have yet paid the wages of government employees without giving any justifications.
 
“it’s been two months without wages, no time specified to be paid and to dodge out from embarrassing of debts, I, thus, have got a new post of Qat leaves vendor just like my friend who found this work is better than lecturing at the university.” Said Abdullah at in Facebook account on Tuesday.  
 
Abdullah explained that it is a new experience for him, so in order to learn he is currently assisting his friend Oil Exploration engineer Mohammed, who has left his job and became a Qat seller.
 
According to UN, an estimated 14.4 million Yemenis were unable to meet their food needs (of whom 7.6 million were severely food insecure, and at least two million had fled their homes within Yemen or to neighboring countries. Many of the displaced continue to live with host families, placing additional strain on scarce resources, or renting shelter, which becomes challenging as rental prices increase, displacement becomes protracted, and savings depleted.

Acing health minister, Ghazi Ismail told Saba that the initial death toll from Saudi barbaric air strikes on the funeral hall in the capital Sanaa on Saturday rose to 82, while 534 were injured. The acting ministry strongly condemned the air strikes against civilians in Sanaa, calling for citizens to donate blood for the victims and urged medics to go to hospitals to help treat the injured.

At least dozens of civilians were killed and hundreds wounded when Saudi brutal warplanes hit with a series of strikes a funeral gathering in southern the capital Sanaa on Saturday afternoon, a security official said.

It was the latest of a series of air strikes against Yemeni civilians by Saudi-led aggression coalition and their mercenaries backed by the United States, in a clear escalation against peace efforts. The official said two air strikes hit the grand hall of ceremonies, where a funeral gathering was held to receive condolences for the late Ali bin Ali al-Ruwaishan, the father of Interior Minister, Jalal al-Ruwaishan.

The brutal airstrikes bombing caused large fire in the hall's building, which completely destroyed. The civil defense teams have managed to put it off. Many residential houses around the hall were badly damaged. The officials and residents strongly condemned the barbaric targeting of civilians and called on the United Nations to bear its responsibility and break its shame silence.
