British Conservative Government Detains Visiting Shaikh Raed Salah to Deport him Before Speaking to British Members of Parliament

Editor's Note:

This is another evidence of the Zionist control of the British government. The Israelis and their Zionist supporters in Britain have demonstrated their power over the British government by denying members of the British Parliament an opportunity to meet with and listen to Shaikh Salah.

British authorities detain Shaikh Salah

[ 29/06/2011 - 08:33 AM ]

LONDON, (PIC)--

Shaikh Raed Salah, the leader of the Islamic movement in 1948 occupied Palestine, was detained by the UK Border Authority Police in London at a late hour on Tuesday night at the pretext that his “presence in the UK is not conducive to the public good”.

Shaikh Salah, who arrived to the UK with the knowledge and approval of the immigration department, would be held in custody prior to his deportation from the UK within hours.

Shaikh Raed was due to speak at tonight's Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC) event in Parliament, where he was scheduled to share a panel with MPs and Peers, speaking on "Building Peace and Justice in Jerusalem".

British officials were trying to disrupt the event as it would embarrass it before Israel.

Sources close to the government in Whitehall said that Home Secretary Theresa May was upset at the confusion of her ministry that allowed entry of Shaikh Salah to the UK.

The PSC who is organising Tuesday night’s event at parliament and the Middle East Monitor who invited Shaikh Salah to participate in a speaking tour in the UK said that the event will go ahead and urged everyone to turn up to the event in large numbers.

UK Authorities Arrest Shaikh Raed Salah

The British Authorities arrested late on Tuesday at night Shaikh Raed Salah, head of the Northern Branch of the Islamic Movement in occupied Palestine (Zionist Israel) under the claim that he poses a threat to the public security in Britain.

Salah was moved to a detention facility in preparation to be deported out of the UK.

On Sunday, Shaikh Salah had no problem by the British security when he landed at the Heathrow Airport.

Recently, the British Interior Ministry decided that Shaikh Salah will never be allowed into the country. On Saturday, British Home Secretary, Theresa May, issued an official injunction to ban the Shaikh from entering the country, Israeli Ynet News reported.

He was invited to deliver a speech to in front of British parliamentarians of the Labor opposition party.

The Shaikh was planning to speak about the Arab-Israeli conflict, and the ongoing Israeli violations against the Palestinian people.

It is worth mentioning that Shaikh Salah was repeatedly kidnapped and assaulted by Israeli soldiers and policemen, especially in Jerusalem, while the Israeli police issued several restraining orders barring him from entering Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the city.

Shaikh Salah was aboard the Turkish Ship, MV Marmara, that was violently boarded and attacked by the Israeli army and navy in international waters on May 31 last year.

During the attack, Israeli soldiers killed 9 Turkish activists, and injured dozens of activists, before occupying the ship and towing it to Ashdod Port.
