2 US Soldiers Injured in Baghdad Blast, 3 Iraqis Killed in Kirkuk July 6, 2011 2 US soldiers injured in Baghdad blast 7/6/2011 1:43 PM Two American soldiers have been injured and their vehicle damaged in a sticky bomb blast that targeted their Army patrol west of Baghdad on Wednesday, a Baghdad police source reported. “An explosive charge blew up on Wednesday afternoon in west Iraq’s al-Nisour Square against a U.S. Army patrol, wounding 2 American soldiers and damaging their Hummer
vehicles,” the police source said, giving no further details. SKH
(TP)/SR 3 killed in Kirkuk 7/5/2011 8:51 PM A police General Sarhat Qadir said today that three members of the pro-government Al-Sahwa (Awakening) forces were killed by weapons equipped with silencers in southwest Kirkuk. Qadir informed Aswat al-Iraq that the three were killed near a checkpoint on the main road connecting Kirkuk with Hawija area. The culprits fled the crime scene, he added. Kirkuk city lies 280
