Hamas founder Sheikh Ahmed Yassin said yesterday Israel's acceptance of
the roadmap was "a trick" and warned that Washington could not
be an honest peace broker. "Sharon is a liar...(the road map) is a
trick," said Yassin.
"They want to throw the ball into our court," he added, voicing
concern that Israel could try and provoke Hamas by targeting leading
militants.
Asked if Hamas might consider taking a wait-and-see attitude, the
65-year-old Yassin said: "Maybe, everything is under discussion
