Israeli Occupation Forces Kill 3 Children, Wounds 4 Others in Two Days

A 13-year-old Palestinian boy died of wounds he sustained earlier in the northern West Bank town of Jenin, raising the number of Palestinian children killed in the past 36 hours to three.

Last Thursday, IOF soldiers shot Kamal Nawahda in the head while he was standing on the roof of his family’s house in al-Yamoun village, Palestinians medical sources said.

He died in Jenin hospital where he was being treated, they added.

Also in Jenin, another 16-year-old boy was wounded in the head with live ammunition fired by IOF soldiers, medics said.

Earlier, Mohammad Mahmoud, 16, was shot dead in the northern West Bank town of Tulkarem. Three other children were seriously wounded by IOF gunfire.

On Monday, IOF raided Karawat Bani Zeid and randomly opened fire on Palestinians’ houses, killing 11-year-old Samer Arrar.

Medical sources said the boy was shot in the head and died later while he was on the way to hospital.

Meanwhile, IOF continued to impose a tight curfew on Tulkarem and its refugee camp for the 6th day running. Several homes were occupied and turned onto military outposts, witnesses said.

The Israeli occupation army also invaded the towns of Toubas, Al-Yamoun and Kufur Dan and imposed curfew on the residents.

Meanwhile, IOF invaded Silat al-Harithiya town, west of Jenin, and imposed a curfew on the residents “until further notice”.

Three children were also wounded, one critically, during an Israeli military invasion of Beit Fourik Village, east of Nablus city.

The wounded children were identified as Salah Hanani, hit with a rubber coated metal bullet in the leg, Amina Hanani, hit with a rubber coated metal bullet in the head, and Faisal Mitat, who was hit with live ammunition in the head and is in critical condition

In the southern West Bank town of Hebron, a child identified as Anas Bayad was severely beaten by Israeli armed settlers. According to medical sources, he suffered from serious fractures in the skull.

In the Gaza Strip, five Palestinians were wounded during IOF shelling of residential neighborhoods west of the southern town of Khan Younis, namely al-Namsawi (Austrian) residential quarter and al-Rabwat area.

At least one house was damaged in the attack, residents said.
