Rev. Ted Pike Answers in a Gripping Video

Rev. Ted Pike has recently produced a hard-hitting video about the Mid-East. What makes his video different from so many others out there is that it does not promote the anti-Arab and anti-Muslim hatred that we see so much in many well-produced videos. Rather, it takes an honest and even-handed look over what has occurred in the Mid-East. For those who are knowledgeable about what has occurred over there in the past half-century, this means that many of Israel's policies and actions are scrutinized.

Rev. Ted Pike, an unapologetic Christian, is not new to controversy. He has long failed to tow-the-line of the false beliefs espoused by the neo-Christians--that is, those Evangelical Judeo-Christians who promote politically correct, Calvinist beliefs, not necessarily Christian at all. Quite to the contrary, he has stood steadfast against them, as if he was a modern-day Sampson against a Goliath of propaganda.

In the 1980s, Rev. Ted Pike and his wife, Alynn, produced the video "The Other Israel." This video exposed many of the atrocities perpetrated by Zionists in Israel. He offered a realistic solution to end the decades of hate in the Mid-East. He also wrote a book on which the video was based, called "Israel: Our Duty ... Our Dilemma." Tens of thousands of pastors have ordered his book, and a great number of people have watched his highly informative, unbiased video about the problems occurring in the Mid-East. Additionally, over 200,000 copies of a pamphlet he wrote were distributed, which accurately described the "Jewish bias behind the film" of the viciously anti-Christian film "The Last Temptation of Christ." The pamphlet also told about how the Jewish Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith was behind "legislation ... which could make it a criminal offense to allege that Jews were behind the crucifixion."

Later, in 1991, Ted and Alynn Pike produced the video "Hate Laws: Making Criminals of Christians." This shocking documentary exposed the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) of B'nai B'rith's tactics to stifle opposition to its advocacy of Thought Crime Laws. In what must certainly have put the heads of the ADL in a bitter rage, the Pikes' expose' showed how the ADL has promoted laws to convict people of what is called "hate crimes" in Canada, in which someone can be arrested for daring to question the "6 million" figure given by Jews (i.e., saying that there may not have been that many who died in WWII) or for promoting morality (telling children that homosexuality is immoral).

Now, Ted and Alynn Pike have produced what may very well be the pinnacle of their movie-making career. Their video "Why the Mid-East Bleeds" shows Rev. Ted Pike and Alynn Pike several years after their debut. Rev. Pike is now cleanly shave with a bit of grey in his hair and as well-spoken as ever, while his wife Alynn Pike is still youthful-looking and does not seem to have aged a day.

The video "Why the Mid-East Bleeds" begins with the Pikes questioning the Zionist mindset and what it causes. Alynn Pike tells about the situation in Israel, while showing many Palestinians who have suffered under the Zionist leadership. Rev. Pike joins her shortly in the video, and the two begin to tell the tragic tale that many who have followed these events have come to know.

They then quote many passages from the Old Testament (or Torah, as Jews call the first five books). For example, he cites Deuteronomy 4:26: "I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that you will soon utterly perish from the land which you are going over to Jordan to possess; you will not live long upon it, but will be utterly destroyed." Differing markedly from the neo-Christians, Rev. Pike says that since the Zionists are not righteous, their claims on Israel are essentially null and void.

Many rare photos and some suppressed video footage are shown. From the days of the Stern Gang, the violent actions caused by Zionists are exposed. More importantly, Rev. Ted Pike shows that "the thorn, Israel," is largely responsible for much of the terrorism we see today. Alynn Pike then chimes in, and tells of how the Jews in Israel, once the "persecuted," have now become the "persecutors." She describes how Palestinian children are often shot in the head. These atrocities, she accurately notes, fuel the reactionary anti-Israel hate. But without Israel constantly terrorizing the non-Jewish people, it would stop.

After this introduction, many Jewish books are cited in the video. Rather than simply cite these books, care was given to show the actual pages cited for many quotes. For those unexposed to the hatred of non-Jews exhibited in some of these writings, it will come as a shock. For instance, the Jewish Encyclopedia is cited, with pages shown, demonstrating how hatred of non-Jews is generally accepted by Jews. Also, the Talmud--that is, the religious oral laws of Jews on which Israel bases many of its actual laws--are shown, page by page. Many respected Jewish leaders are also cited. One example of this hatred exhibited by the Jewish oral laws that is given follows:

"Those who deny the Torah and the prophets of Israel, the law is that all those should be killed, and those who have the power of life and death should have them killed. And if this cannot be done, they should be led to their deaths by deceptive methods." --Talmud, Choschen Hammischpat, 156.5, Hagah

>From there, a brief historical overview of Israel is given. The terrorist actions caused by Menachem Begin and Yitzhak Shamir are showed: the murder of Lord Moyne, the murder of Count Folke Bernadotte, the bombing of the King David Hotel, and so many other atrocities caused by the two who both became prime ministers of Israel.

There was one scene that really stood out in this movie--to me, at least. A few dozen people, presumably members of Rev. Pike's church, briefly re-created some of the horror scenes to which the Palestinians have been exposed. We see white Americans, with sad and bedazzled looks on their white faces, being dragged away in trucks. They are forced to live in a tent. They sit by a fire, with tears in their eyes. It hits home. And these are the common experiences of the Palestinians, who are regularly displaced from their homes and forced to live elsewhere.

Many of the discriminatory actions perpetrated by the Zionists are also exposed in this video. Water-rationing, check points, bulldozing of homes, random shootings of Palestinians, two sets of laws--all these things and much more are shown.

The video "Why the Mid-East Bleeds" is a tragic tale, but it is a tale that should be told. Judging from past videos by the Pikes, it is likely this tale will be told too. The Pikes' National Prayer Network is working towards putting this video on Cable Access TV across the U.S. It will be interesting to see how the hateful Israel lobby will react to this honest documentary of the Zionist hatemongers' actions.
