4 US soldiers killed and 14 injured in Afghanistan, as a result of an explosion in a military base Abu Dhabi TV reported from Pakistan that Pakistani newspapers published second issues in order to report that four US soldiers were killed and fourteen were injured in Afghanistan. This resulted from an explosion inside a US military base in Khost, in the Paktia region, east of Afghanistan. Abu Dhabi TV correspondent also reported that Taliban captured several US soldiers. 4 Israeli settlers killed today and 1 yesterday, in the West Bank Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades announced its responsibility for attacking two cars carrying Israeli settlers, near the Carmel settlement, south of Hebron in the West Bank. The attack resulted in killing a husband, a wife, and their two children. It also resulted in injuring passengers of the other car. Directly after the attack, Israeli soldiers sacked the nearby Palestinian village of Yatta. They started house searches and indiscriminate arrests. In Gaza, Israeli tanks and bulldozers reached deep in the city, to the Zaytoon neighborhood, where they destroyed three Palestinian factories, part of their continuous efforts to destroy the Palestinian economy. They alleged that the factory is used in producing the locally-made Al-Qassam missile. Israeli soldiers. Witnesses said that the soldiers forced the family to stay in one room while searching other rooms.
