NPR Avoids Discussion of U.S Blocking of International Aid to the Palestinians

Dear Mr. Dvorkin;

As I listened to today’s reports concerning the U.S/Israeli imposed crisis in the Gaza Strip, and yesterday’s report by Eric Westervelt on the Palestinian health care crisis, I found myself asking aloud, “what is NPR’s purpose for reporting on events in the West Bank and Gaza?”

In this report, it was stated that one of the causes behind Palestinian suffering was that the West was blocking financial aid to the Palestinians.

However, according to international news agencies such as the Independent, The Guardian, Al -Jazeera and The Haaretz, it was the U.S who bears sole responsibility for blocking aid to the Palestinians by, threatening international financial institutions (Western and non – Western alike) who disobeyed U.S and Israeli orders to make Palestinians suffer through starvation and other means.

Is NPR’s reporting designed to inform Americans or provide cover for Israel while it continues to carry out atrocities against Palestinians?
