Bias in American Media

Dear Editor:

Remi Kanzi's editorial on Israel's continuous war crimes against the Palestinian people (June 25, 2006) was to the point.

The American media does ignore the deaths of innocent Palestinians by Israeli occupying forces. That just goes to show you how much clout AIPAC, the Anti-Defamation League and other Jewish special interest groups have in the United States.

They dictate both foreign policy and the dissemination of information via U.S. media that is in extreme in its Zionist viewpoint in the United States.

The New York Times and the Washington Post are both Jewish-owned newspapers. It is a wonder they bother to print anything with regard to the Palestinian plight.

Frankly when it comes to reading most American newspapers with regard to Palestine and her people one must realize it is something akin to reading a 1939 Berlin newspaper about the Jews, totally racist.

For Americans to be informed on the daily atrocities of the Israeli occupation forces and Israel one must rely entirely on the web to get a balanced report.

Thankfully not all countries have a Zionist controlled media like the U.S. does.

Why does the Canadian government allow citizens to sue Iran, but does not allow them to sue Saudi Arabia?

Below is a story that appeared in the Chronicle Herald an Nova Scotia News papers , as you can see it is calling for the arrest of an Iranian Official'

Now if you can remember a few years back Saudi Arabia held a Canadian / British Citizen in their jail accusing him of blowing up a vehicle . This man was freed , then wanted to sue the Saudi Government and the British Courts ruled that he could not sue, because foreign officials because they had diplomatic immunity.

Well, please tell me why does the Canadian Government feel it is within their power to push aside this diplomatic immunity, and do something that a Canadian citizen was denied?

Canadian William Sampson and three other British men who claim they suffered "horrific acts of torture" in Saudi Arabian jails cannot sue officials for compensation, Britain's highest court ruled Wednesday.
