Max Hastings' article, "Israel can no longer rely on the support of Europe's Jews" (June 23, 2006)

Max Hastings' article, "Israel can no longer rely on the support of Europe's Jews", comes in the nick of time. Israel's genocidal policies toward Palestinians are becoming more and more apparent by the day. And Likud leader Bibi Netanyahu recent brag that the IDF has the operational capability to wipe out all of Gaza is helping to cement the image of Zio-nazism not only in the Middle East but throughout the world.

Netanyahu's speech - "The IDF has the firepower to wipe out an entire population if we wanted. We could wipe out all of Gaza but we are not doing this" - came on the heels of over two dozen innocent Gaza civilian deaths by the IDF.

The Jewish community needs to speak out loud and clear against the insidious Israeli policies that echo the horror of the Third Reich.

Setting Precedent: A History of U.S. Military Occupational Crimes By Curtis B. Maynard (Al-Jazeerah, June 22, 2006)

This article was well done. But you must not forget Canada is now being taken to court because its use of agent orange , agent purple and agent white on its own soldiers in 1966 and 1967, I know because I am part of a class action .

The Canadian Government knowingly tested these herbicides laced with dioxins at Base Gagetown New Brunswick on their own people without those soldiers knowing what was happening, this surely is a criminal act.

Canadians have no right to be critical of any other nation on human rights abuse, because of their previous action against their own soldiers.

CAIR TO HOST CAPITOL HILL PANEL ON CLOSURE OF GITMO PRISON CAMP

On June 27, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) will host a panel discussion on Capitol Hill to discuss the need to close the U.S. prison camp at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba.

The discussion, entitled "Should the U.S. Shut Down Gitmo?" features former Guantanamo Bay Muslim Chaplain James Yee and Gene Fidell of Feldesman, Tucker, Leifer and Fidell. Fidell is an attorney who has worked on cases involving Guantanamo Bay inmates.

Refreshments will be served. Admission is free, but seating is limited.
