I was tremendously shocked by the images on your site.

Horrible pictures !

This slaughter must be stopped instantly !!!

I have a few questions, to editors and readers:

1. What is the fastest way of solving this conflict, in a way that both sides are equally justified ?

2. Is it possible ?

3. What would be a measured response ?

4. Wouldn't so much damage be avoided, if the Hizbullah wouldn't be hiding among civilians ?

5. Because of Contradicting media messages, I would like some clarity about Hizbullah's goals - is it the destruction of the Zionist state or is it a liberation army?

1. Release of about 10,000 Arab prisoners from Israeli occupation prisons and an Israeli withdrawal from Lebanese, Syrian, and Palestinian territories, which have been occupied by Israelis for decade with support from US-EU governments.

2. It is only possible if the US-EU government stop their support for the Israeli occupation government.

3. Release of prisoners and withdrawal from the occupied Arab territories.

4. Targeting residential neighborhoods has been an Israeli policy for a long time. Look what has happened in Beirut, which is far away from the battlefield.

5. Hizbullah and other Arabs, including Palestinians, Lebanese, and Syrians have been fighting back to free their occupied territories and their prisoners. They all have accepted the right of Israel to exist by accepting the Arab Initiative.

Israel's massacre of innocent civilian in Lebanon and Gaza

 

 

I find it disgraceful that our government, particularly Tony Blair have not called for an immediate end to Israel's massacre of innocent civilian in Lebanon and Gaza. Rather than following popular world opinion, once again he has swung behind George Bush and tried to justify the slaughter of hundreds.

Thankfully many British people chose to go on the streets today and protest against our government's stance and the Israeli war crimes by carrying out demonstrations across the country. My own town of York had a successful demonstration with over 150 people turning up to a demonstration at short notice, with thousands more joining similar protests in other cities.

Israeli Aggression: Nullifying History

Israel is justifying the slaughter of innocent civilian men, women and children and the destruction of Lebanon on the grounds that as a sovereign State it "has the right to defend its borders from bombardment and armed incursions". This is sheer, unadulterated hypocrisy.

The media coverage of this unjustified aggression has typically supported Israel, ignoring totally recent history. I am not referring to the past hundred years , nor even the past ten years. That which has transpired in the past few months has seemingly been swept from the public record and human consciousness.

Going back in history to the 20th June this year, Israel fired at least one missile at a car in an attempted assassination. The missile missed the car but killed three Palestinian children and injured fifteen. Delving further into the archives, we find that on the 6th June 2006, Israel launched a missile at a van killing nine innocent Palestinian lives.

And as far back as June 9th, 2006, Israel bombed a beach in Beit Lahiya killing eight Palestinian civilians and wounding thirty two.

Did history in the Middle East begin on June 28th when Hezbollah fighters kidnapped two Israeli soldiers?

Israel's many terrorist acts have been condoned by the US and its puppet allies in the West. The corporate media never explain the real reason for the unrest and violence in the region, rather it concentrates on white washing Israel's crimes whilst labeling the ¡®freedom fighters¡¯ that oppose occupation and tyranny as terrorists.

Lebanon

Lebanese civilians have been under the constant attack of the state of Israel for several days. The State of Israel, in disregard to international law and the Geneva Convention, is launching a maritime and air siege targeting the entire population of the country. Innocent civilians are being collectively punished in Lebanon by the state of Israel in deliberate acts of terrorism as described in Article 33 of the Geneva Convention.

Woman’s right to hijab is the right to dignity and protection

Time and again the media blatantly transgresses righteousness by spreading anti Islamic policies (thus building a highly misleading notion by devising a repugnant slogan called “Islam phobia) allegedly on pretext of “liberalizing” women mainly in Saudi Arabia and other Middle Eastern countries where women (Muslim) go out guarding their modesty by wearing a hijab (cloak). Such chivalrous qualities are deliberately derided by the west where women are treated as mere objects of pleasure.

In USA, UK and other modern countries the crime rates have escalated rapidly surpassing even the biggest of their skyscrapers, thereby exposing the “ugly face” of these self-styled “liberal” countries in matters concerning women.

Women in west are indubitably, the most ill-treated and dejected beings owing to the incessant and merciless assaults on their body and mind, occurring at a frightening rate. Due to the lack of morality, men in west on the whole continue to assume a woman as nothing more than a standby for leisure until the next “woman” is found.

This poor state of immorality is slowly but surely going to destroy the civility, morality and above all- the essence of humanity.

Countries like France have mindlessly affronted Muslim sentiments by placing a ban against wearing hijab or even a headscarf in public institutions, distressing Muslim women all over. What are they trying to convey?

What form of “liberalization” compels upright women to shed their cloaks and protective garments to be harassed and abused ruthlessly?

As a matter of fact, opposing hijab or headscarfs is definitely “not liberal” but an out-and-out violation of the most basics of human rights.

A true liberal and a true human is the one who respects humanity and advocates freedom and dignity in every corner of the world regardless of race, religion or color of the skin.

Al Asra wal Me’raj is the miraculous journey of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). As Allah says in the Holy Qur’an, “Allah, the most pure, took His most obedient (Muhammad) from the sacred Mosque of Al HARAAM in Makkah to the distant sacred Mosque of Al AQSA in Jerusalem”.

At the Al-AQSA mosque in Jerusalem Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) lead the prayers of all Prophets and the Messengers of Allah. From Jerusalem, Prophet (peace be upon him) was ascended towards the Heavens where he saw the wonders of Allah and he retuned back to Makkah during the same night. 

Al Asra Wal Me’raj is one of the most important historical events of Islamic history. One prayer in Masjid Al Aqsa is rewarded more than 1000^th time compared to the other mosques on earth except Masjid Al Haram of Makkah and Masjid Al Nabawi of Madinah.
