Palestine and Iraq Critics and more

The Wheels of Justice tour is rolling (UT, WY, CO, http://justicewheels.org ) and received great feedback and attendance at the high schools, colleges, universities and churches we spoke at. We also had the expected and welcomed rare critics. Some critics to their credit learned new facts and engaged in serious conversation and wanted to get more resources and facts. Some did not even attend but sent emails to others after the fact claiming bias and/or "shooting the messenger". Some critics attended but apparently did not listen to what we had to say because they did not challenge any of the observations or facts we presented but rather claimed they wanted the “other side” represented. Of course there is no tribal warfare here and no “other side” but thousands of perspectives. The perspective we gave is of us as individuals (Iraq and Palestine eyewitness speakers).

We support International law and human rights, no more and no less. We never claimed that we would (nor could) bring representation (“balance”) of the MANY ideologies and interests out there: Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Labor Zionists, Likud Zionists, Israeli communists, Shas, Palestinian Authority, Israeli Government, Military Industrial interests, oil companies, Israeli lobby in DC, neo-conservatives, etc. We do mention some of these in our talks and in response to questions/comments but our focus remains as eyewitness accounts to occupation/colonization from the perspective of the civilians subject to these occupations/colonization and our guiding principles is human rights as articulated in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. We cannot equate occupier and colonizer armies with occupied and colonized people nor do we accept the mythology that such occupiers and colonizers represent either the Israeli or American public (e.g. 65% of US citizens now oppose the continued occupation of Iraq).

Anyways, there are few (minority) who want to silence any discussion or free speech or work for human rights and they are miseld by groups like the ADL with a history of attacks on civil liberties and free speech:

Earthquake Response & Relief South Asia- Appealing directly to the People who changing wardrobes/autumn cleaning

Clearly, after the many natural disasters this year like the Tsunami, Floods in Central Europe, the Continuous Catastrophes in Africa and Hurricane Katherina; there seems to be donor fatigue on behalf of Governments! This however does not mean that many PEOPLE or INDIVIDUALS will not respond on many continents and sub-continents like North America, European Union and Gulf Cooperation Council!

The Pakistani Government, UNO- United Nations Emergency Relief Coordinator - Ms. Margarita Wahlstrom, Red Crescent, et cetra need the help from the Leaders, Media and their respective Peoples from the following countries namely:

1. US Pres. George Bush, 2. German Chancellor Angela Merkel, 3.Swedish Prime Minister Persson, 4.Saudi King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, et cetra!

The PEOPLE or INDIVIDUALS from these continents or sub-continents who basically are changing their wardrobe for the season could deliver used Blankets, Jeans, Blankets, Boots as well as Medical Aid Kits, Corn, Oats, Powdered Milk, Baby Food, canned Tuna and other essentials to central locations in cities like a TV Station Like CNBC in New York City, A ChurchIn Berlin, A Government Ministry in Stockholm, A Mosque in Makkah ,etcetra and thereafter transported to the nearest Military Airbase!

These essential items could be packaged in the form comprising each of the essential items in a single package including leaflets with ADVICE IN URDU & ENGLISH: HOW TO BEST IMPROVISE in the Circumstances as so as to make the relief effort on the ground more effective and efficient! The UNO can send their C117 Hercules Transport Aircraft to the relevant Airports to airlift the donations or many of the above nations can afford to fly the donated and packaged items of the people to the Prince Sultan Airbase in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia!

It would be better for the UNO, Red Crescent, et cetra to make food drops on the affected areas using MILITARY TRANSPORT AIRCRAFT sourced directly from the PRINCE SULTAN AIRBASE because it has the technological, logistical and other capabilities that none of the other Airports or Airbases in that area have and which could hasten relief to those dispossessed and affected by the Earthquake! Furthermore, if Pakistan needs helicopter pilots then they could appeal to the GCC to deliver considering it is the Holy Fasting Month of Ramadan and a few days before EID! Please note that these People will be facing a Cold Winter with Snow without Shelter!

Considering the IRAQI PEOPLE have been 'kicked from pillar to post', the UNO can state the facts regarding whether the IRAQI PEOPLE since the occupation by the USA or Britain has received more in terms of basics such as food, clothing, shelter, electricity, security, et cetra from the overthrown Dictator and Human Rights Abuser Saddam Hussein or from the American&British Coalition in Iraq? Hence, I would also appeal to the PEOPLE of the Global Village to also donate for the IRAQI PEOPLE as well considering 'Eid-ul-Fitr' is in a few days time!

This reminds me of the words of the Pakistani Poet & Intellect, Dr Sir Muhammed Iqbal, "May God bring you close to a tempest, because the waves in your sea know no anxiety!"
