Human Price of the Israeli Occupation of Palestine Israeli daily aggression on the Palestinian people Mission and meaning of Al-Jazeerah Cities, localities, and tourist attractions
|
We Salute and mourn Yasser Arafat Dear Comrades and friends, The demise of Yasser Arafat is a sad and tragic moment for all of the Palestinian People and we stand with them in this moment of grief. He is indeed the Father of the Palestinian Nation and is to his nation what Mahatma Gandhi is to us Indians. Hearing of his end days has left a tremendous vacuum amongst our hearts. The struggle and sacrifices of Yasser Arafat will always be a source of inspiration to us all. We are with you. God Bless the Palestinian People Long Live Palestine !!!!!!! Long Live Yasser Arafat !!!!!!! Feroze Hamza Mithiborwala
Iraqi Resistance Dear Editor, The Iraqi Resistance to America's foreign occupation of Iraq is clearly in accordance with customary international law which allows citizens to legitimately resist an illegal occupation. The American occupation is clearly illegal because the war was an illegal war of aggression. Each person needs to ask themselves in these increasingly bad times: Do I have the courage to stand up and do what is right? Will I risk my life for my children, their children and the future of our planet by standing up against American aggression and exploitation? This is a question that might not even be possible to ask for several generations unless we act now. Regards, Dr. Curtis F.J. Doebbler Washington, D.C. USA Email: doebbler@starpower.net
America 2004 Is Germany 1930
Many people have asked me "what can we do
now?"
I said that first, we must realize that we can resist, and then we must each find those ways in which each of us can be most effective. Here is a primer for those who want to know more, and who want to begin to think differently.

The Electoral College blues: What we
get after the red states bankrupt America
By Jane Stillwater
Why are the blue states paying for the
red states' crazy spending sprees?
Like uncontrolled pre-teens at a
shopping mall, red states with credit cards in hand are running up so
much debt on our blue state Mastercard that we both are going under.
Who gave the red states OUR credit
card? The Electoral College did it. That's identity theft!
Isn't it about time that the Electoral
College got sent back to school to take a civics lesson in "Proportional
Representation".
Without the blue states, the red
states' bank account would be a joke. Yet it is the teenybopper red
states and their bumbling, greedy, blood-thirsty leaders that are
dragging us parent blue states around by the ear.
Another sad but true story: The more that blood-thirsty red state leaders orchestrate the massacre of Middle Eastern women and children, the more blue states become endangered. Blue states are fully aware that red state politicians can yell, "Na na ne na ne na" from behind their mother's skirts all they want but it was the Twin Towers, not the Alamo, that got bombed.

The National Debt Clock: Americans

From the Minneapolis Star
Tribune, November 4, 2004: Republicans have proposed
that the debt ceiling be raised by $690 billion to $8.074 trillion,
an amount that would get the government through next September, when the

Bush Not Only Had To Rig Ohio But He Also Needed An Opponent That Wouldn't Make An Issue of It The Election was not only STOLEN............it was FIXED! http://www.libertyforum.org/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=news_crime&Number=2 93079481&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=365∂= We said it long ago. Bush 43 would not carry the same reservations his father did in winning a second term by rigging the election results. The very sad thing is that Bush not only had to rig Ohio but he also needed an opponent that wouldn't make an issue of it. Thus, Bush won in essence via the same dynamic as in 2000. Moreover, while it seems he didn't need it, with his brother as Governor of Florida, he was all set up to take Florida if required (supply the public with numbers justifying his re-election). Is this the Death of Democracy in the US ?
I am so sad for my country, and the world. I do not
believe the majority of Americans voted to be in hateful isolation
from the concerns of the world. Sen. John McCain and many others proclaimed how shocked they were by the inaccuracies of the EXIT polls. Even a right wing pundit with some genuine knowledge of the historical validity of these polls made some amazing comments in an article- calling for an investigation of the media (they consider it too liberal which is a cruel joke). An investigation of the machines-should be conducted and perhaps if we demand it enough it will. but that is highly doubtful. I had written and complained before the election but nothing happened- we were too reassured by meaningful activists with video cameras-but they were no help in this case. Who would have thought we- Americans- needed vote monitors from the UN but the current anti-UN administration would not have allowed it. Our media is afraid to speak out- yet they have much to lose. the FCC will be dismantled and right wing control enforced. I am very afraid for my country now. I feel Osama Bin Laden latest appearance helped to promote BushInc.'s fear and hate mongering agenda. An isolated and hostile USA will be less effective in it's so called war on terrorism. I fear for people and the violence of both of these misguided men who have done so much harm. I wish peace, and apologize for whatever happens next. Below are a couple links, Thank you,
this quote is from a right wing pundit-complaining about the
media, but a couple of his facts stand out.
.worth reading the entire article-not that
long...http://www.thehill.com/morris/110404.aspx
