Mr. Johnson's piece gives one the impression that both sides of Israel/Palestine decades-long "conflict" are equal and that many previous UN and UNSC resolutions have been shown any sign of even recognition by Israel in the past or that Israel would abide by them if only they were in place.

He really should research and study a little unbiased history before purporting to have the answer.

WMD Scandal.......by Ramzy Baroud

That is an excellent piece by Ramzy Baroud on "WMD Scandal: The Arab Silence Perplexing". He puts into clear focus the horror visited on the Iraqi people, the cost in lives and property, all in the name of "American democracy"! The US occupation is even much worse than the invasion. So is it any wonder that we hear today most Iraqis saying that the Americans must leave as soon as possible.

Thanks also for the "A Look at the Powerful Jewish Lobby", which is very informative. It is so helpful to dispel the misperception that all Jewish people agree with the present Israeli revengeful policies. It gives such a clear understanding of the difference between Zionism and Judaism, that Zionism does not represent all Jews, in fact it is a small minority with great power. Jews like any other people want to live in peace. And as the Pope said yesterday 'what is needed is reconciliation, not revenge.

Bush must be held accountable for his actions!

So far, the war in Iraq has cost U.S. taxpayers more than $150 billion.
It cost $14 billion between last September and last November alone.
Not only do we not know how much more American taxpayers will have to pay in dollars and American Troops in injury or death, but the Bush Administration won't even give us an estimate until after the election - the costs of military operations in Iraq are not included in the 2005 budget.

This isn't surprising, as President Bush has misled us from the beginning as to why it was so important that we launch a pre-emptive war, hiding the ambiguity of the intelligence from Congress and the American people. Now we know that Iraq was not an imminent threat to us, and that we could have used more time to work toward a peaceful solution, or at least to build more international support, which would have lowered the high price we're now paying, in both dollars and American lives.

President Bush must be held accountable for his actions!
